Where I remain confused is I cannot believe we have 214 evil Democrats sitting in the House and 47 in the Senate. Surely many of these human beings are not evil, but caught up in their party’s politics. They may have been corrupted by money or love their position too much, but they can be saved from going down with the ship.

So, February 17, 2009 is a very important date, but who noticed? Here we are 17 years later and still dealing with the same corrupt Congress. They recently voted to increase the debt by $5.2 Trillion which makes the 2009 $878 Billion seem like chicken feed. But, it shows us how fast we are failing as an economy. Now, we lose well over a Trillion every year and just keep voting to keep it up. The interest on our debt is over a Trillion per year! In 2009, when Obama came to office it was $252 Billion per year! Look how far we have progressed. We have grown our national debt at a compounded rate of over 9%. Is that a good thing?

I think your percentage is correct. However, I believe treason is not correct. Yes, what they did was not in the best interest of America, but they were caught up into the morass created for us well before any of these clowns were born. The question is, “Faced with the knowledge that our government was bankrupt, what could any of them actually do?” For sure, they were trapped by the knowledge, but telling the public was not possible because it would collapse our entire society. So, they went along with the status quo, which was to make us even more bankrupt.

Honestly, I haven’t been following the narrative war on the Epstein files currently playing out. I had my fill of looking into it years back.
I read Clandestine’s post about “the Hoax” and agreed with it - essentially “the hoax” had to do with the Dems doing nothing to release the files for nearly 2 decades but they scrambled to get ahead of it when Trump won the election having promised to release the files during the campaign and rallies.
Gateway pundit ran an article about the most notorious liar we have ever known, Hillary Clinton. She is out there saying that she and Bill have been exonerated over Epstein connections and that MAGA is using it to distract from Trump’s involvement. 😂 Trump referred to her fake story as another example of HRC’s TDS.
I don’t follow Bannon but I’m with Ghost over anybody trying to make a big deal about it…another example of “the hoax” playing out.
With interesting resignations happening because of the E files, there is clearly a truth layer below the hoax layer.

Concerning Steve Bannon, what makes sense to me is his desire to investigate Epstein from the “Inside”. It is impossible to get inside information from an organization by attacking them with aggression. Instead, you play nice and weasel your way into their system.
I have no idea what Steve Bannon’s motives were, but it sure seems like he was playing the weasel role. Bannon had been a “Trump insider” but appeared to have fallen out of favor. What better way to turn on Trump than to throw in with Epstein? It makes sense to me.

On this date in 2009, President Obama signed the $878 Billion bailout of the financial catastrophe created by the housing mortgage crisis. Obviously, BHO had absolutely nothing to do with creating this crisis because he had just been put into office less than a month earlier.
But, his party was right in the middle of creating this crisis along with the RINOs. Deficit spending by our Congress created the excess currency that funded the housing boom. Congress was able to create the money thanks to the exportation of our industrial base and the importation of cheap foreign goods. The huge trade deficit that was created was balance by Congress by selling Treasury Bonds to the foreign interests.
America’s problem was we could not import houses! The underlying inflation the deficit spending created was here and working against us. But, it wasn’t obvious because the importation of cheap stuff hid the inflation from us. But, the housing market couldn’t be fooled. It boomed due to low interest rates and easy money.
So, February 17, 2009 is a very important date, but who noticed? Here we are 17 years later and still dealing with the same corrupt Congress. They recently voted to increase the debt by $5.2 Trillion which makes the 2009 $878 Billion seem like chicken feed. But, it shows us how fast we are failing as an economy. Now, we lose well over a Trillion every year and just keep voting to keep it up. The interest on our debt is over a Trillion per year! In 2009, when Obama came to office it was $252 Billion per year! Look how far we have progressed. We have grown our national debt at a compounded rate of over 9%. Is that a good thing?

I think your percentage is correct. However, I believe treason is not correct. Yes, what they did was not in the best interest of America, but they were caught up into the morass created for us well before any of these clowns were born. The question is, “Faced with the knowledge that our government was bankrupt, what could any of them actually do?” For sure, they were trapped by the knowledge, but telling the public was not possible because it would collapse our entire society. So, they went along with the status quo, which was to make us even more bankrupt.
I tend to look at this with pity. The good news is Trump has been brought here to reconcile the bankruptcy. He is an expert at bankruptcy. By reclaiming our Gold, he gave himself and us a solution. He declared our government bankrupt in 2017! He just failed to tell America. Instead, he is showing us slowly as he proves that it didn’t really matter because we are the solution. We the people are in control once again and the Marxist/Communists are on their way out for good.
That, by the way, is why I think they are acting so nutty! They do not know how to save themselves from the truth. I just hope I am seeing this correctly. I can find no other rational explanation, but I am just an interested observer of the show.
Trump will be aided by the rapidly materializing understanding that a very substantial part of the US federal budget is fraud.
Now, getting rid of that fraud will not be a simple problem, because with that amount of money (2-3 trillion a year, with a 'T') there are some very powerful interests benefiting from it, who will resist the ending of their gravy-train with every ounce of their being. It is existential to them; they have no choice.
But as the people clamor for the fraud to end (because 98% of us get no benefit from it), that tower will eventually fall. We can see the beginning of this today, and it will only expand. Nick Shirley is in California now, where Steve Hilton (running for governor) promises $250 billion in fraud, is helping to expose it. CA will make MN's 15-20 billion look like child's play. And Gruesome Newsom will be right in the middle of it. With Newsome taken down by fraud and AOC taken down by running her stupid mouth in Munich, who will the dems run in 2028?
Answer: it won't matter. If Trump actually fixes the elections, no democrat will ever win national office again. A few might win a congressional seat here and there, but the democrats as a party cannot exist without the fraud. Election fraud and financial fraud -- will turn out to be one and the same.

"Historically" depends on framing. Before about 1960, blacks historically voted for the party of Abraham Lincoln, who set them free. Then the democrats started promising them free stuff, so they started voting for the democrats (the party of slavery).
Recently after 60+ years of never getting any of the 'free stuff' they were promised, blacks and hispanics, both of which groups are culturally more conservative than whites, are coming around to voting for the GOP again. And Trump in particular.
Trump did not have to promise them anything special -- just that he wanted to make the country great again, for everyone, including them. A rising tide does indeed lift all boats.
