I value all three of you and how you report the news and frame its stories, but today Ashe deserves top marks for her brilliant and artistic handling of the Canadian "heckler." Kudos! I was both chuckling and nodding my head in agreement all the way through that take.

Thanks for the support, Laura.

The new format is a lot of work, but we're enjoying the engagement.

WOW, what a great start to my snowy week:-)

Trump 2.0 continues to fire on so many fronts that the DS Rat Bastards have no ability to effectively respond... Checkmate!

I have no concerns about the MN end state... We Win!. Trump 2.0 is letting the air (and DS Rat Bastard funding) out of the goon squad... Timing is Everything.

BB the Bessent unleashing has met every marker that you laid out in your earlier work. He is in full beast mode and like Lutnick (actually his entire A team is kicking ass and taking numbers daily) is so much fun to see them roar right in the belly of the beast... Glorious.

GBPH Trump-A-Mania ia always the right way to start any week... Thank you!!!

Ashe I loved your Take on Canada. I grew up in Detroit and we often went over the bridge(s) or through the tunnel to Canada. It was simply another suburb of Detroit but cleaner and friendlier. I totally agree that their government has a total infestation of DS Rat Bastards. Also, to BB's point he made on a podcast last week (forget which one) they are a very compliant culture and have a real affinity for the Crown. Having said that I still believe Trump is totally serious about the 51st (or 52nd if they don't hurry:-) is very real and will eventually happen. The whole Western Hemisphere could effectively be US States operating as Sovereigns under our Constitution once we restore it back to it’s intended minimalist form. Anyway, as usual I love the brass balls you continually swing😊

Finally, the Cananda/China/US kerfuffle is a great example of the 5D Chess that Tump 2.0 is constantly playing, it moves so fast and in so many directions the DS Rat Bastards are impotent in their response.

As BB says, We Have Better Writers and our narrative is winning.

Cannot wait to see what happens this week. Keep up the great work!

God Wins!

God Bless!!!

I was a little shocked to see that October article blow up over the weekend.

But as they say, future news unlocks.

Gary's avatar

Amen and amen, Joe. I'm from the other side of the Great Lakes State but grew up camping in Canada many times, honeymooned there, and took my family regularly when the kids were younger. As you say, Canadians (at least in Ontario) are very compliant, but the real problem is the government. Many Canadians know this but have no history of fighting that battle.

Joe Kronner's avatar

Many fond memories in the Great White North too:-)

I have every confidence that we have been awakened 1st for a reason and we will be there to lead everyone who follows to the Truth.

I’ve traveled all across Canada. It’s full of spectacular beauty and people, (and a bunch of dinosaur bones). The government is the ‘turd’ in the punch bowl. Take it out, Canadians!

Wild Bill's avatar

Oh, and please refresh the punch, once it is removed 😎

Wild Bill's avatar

Also a native Michigander (Midland, right in the center of the Lower Peninsula) and as a dual citizen having lived in Alberta and Southeastern BC (the non-commie part) for nearly 20 years, I can say that Canadians are all alike about as much as New Yorkers are like Texans or Californians.

Meaning while there are similarities, I'd say Albertans share much more in common with Texans than with Ontarians. Carney is just forcing this discussion to a head -- Alberta is looking at the bleak prospects of remaining in Carney's British-pawn confederation, and seeing what freedom-minded folks are thinking and doing in places like Florida and Texas, and realizing that if they do not act soon it may become impossible.

Whether Alberta becomes an independent, sovereign nation or chooses the be the 51st US State, either way its future will be far brighter than if it continues to serve as the principle source of the 'equalization payments' required to keep the less competent in confederation. With all that cash staying in Alberta, it will soon become one of the wealthiest jurisdictions in the world.

And there is always the possibility that the Territories will soon join Alberta, because they are also sitting on untold and undeveloped resources. Enough to make their (fairly few) citizens some of the wealthiest on Planet Earth. Make Alaska's Permanent Fund look like a kid's piggy-bank. Just get rid of the British Cabal, and watch them soar.

Burning Bright's avatar

Well said on all counts, Bill.

I give the Canadians a lot of shit, but we also need to look in the mirror.

This is about sovereigns rising up and joining together, not national flags.

Wild Bill's avatar

That look in the mirror reminds us that but for the Grace of God, there goes us.

We are only one election away from going down Carney's Cabal path -- or establishing a Sovereign future that could potentially last many generations. It's taken 250 years for the corruption to bring the USA to the threshold of this existential decision. Vamos a ver -- we shall see.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

I wonder if Saskatchewan and Manitoba would follow suit? Or is it just Alberta that sees the writing on the wall?

Wild Bill's avatar

Other provinces are paying attention to Alberta. If it works for the Albertans, they may grow a pair and try it elsewhere.

We may also see things like Northern and Eastern BC leaving to join Alberta, and let California have Vancouver...

But right now, I think the folks in the Territories are probably most likely to throw in with Alberta. Which BTW would form a land connection all the way from the lower 48 to Alaska and Greenland... just sayin'.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

Maybe we need to have West America, (Vancouver to however far south it would go), East America (Ontario and east and down the east coast of US), then the rest of US and Canada would be North America.

Wild Bill's avatar

It is hard to see where this will all end up, but for sure things are likely to look different soon... after 250 years of stasis.

I’ve never heard of this person, but, having said that, it appears to me that the ‘church’ is at the same place it was in the 1930s when Bonhoeffer waned the ‘church’ to take a stand against the Nazis publicly. It did not then and we (with hindsight) have seen and reaped the results. I also separate the ‘church of various denominations’ from the body of believers that I consider is the ‘bride’ of Christ. There are those who will definitely be in both groups. This vision might be the warning of our time like the 30s was for the ‘church’ then.

Either way, we as the body of Christ must be in prayer throughout these times. Without God’s hand, this spiritual battle cannot be won.

On MNSanity -- the 3 who have died are victims of cause and effect. When you show up to cause disruption and your actions cause your death - why is anyone surprised? To show up armed - whether you used it or not - is a sign of intent. Cause and effect. That is why 3 people are dead. Now little timmy, little frey, and little ellison need to feel the effects of the events they have caused. And one day they will - whether in this life or before God.

Canada - thank you Ashe - very well stated. When my husband and I visited Winnipeg last year, I was shocked at the number of immigrants. They owned and worked nearly every place we were at. I believe I saw, at most, a handful of caucasian Canadians. Which goes to show that Canada is being manipulated into being something other than what true Canadians really want. (much like Minnesota). I pray for the interior to successfully secede from british control. I pray for this chokehold to be broken.

ALtab's avatar

That was the plan for us. Travel around the country and observe who are the managers one encounters at hotels and convenience stores in the US.

At least most of the Sikhs believe in working hard and assimilating, while still maintaining their cultural traditions. Lots of them drive truck -- just watch one of the Canadian trucker shows ('Highway through Hell' for instance, there are others) and you'll see what I mean.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

We must remember that Clinton and Obama both deported so many people -millions !! these are all staged protests because it doesn’t matter what Trump does. They’re going to say it’s wrong / orange man bad, even if it’s from their camp this is evil versus good. There is no fixing these people without our Lord God intervening.!

Trump is exposing every last evil!!

Gary's avatar

Exactly! Chuck Schemer is even threatening another government shutdown (because that went so well for Dems last time, amiright?) to stop policies he passionately fought for just a few years ago. While covering up fraud is the primary reason for the anti-ICE riots, they're being powered by tapping into rampant TDS.

Wild Bill's avatar

Covering up fraud: This is exactly the point. And why this is happening in Minnesota and nowhere else.

When you threaten [them] at the very core of their existence -- money -- you will find out who they really are. If those fraud investigations were in Missouri, just a couple states south, the riots would be in St. Louis. 'Pay no attention to that little man behind the curtain' -- we're now getting a good look at him. [They] are scared because they don't have the resources to do this everywhere, for them Minnesota is ground zero. Win there and they may live on; fail and it's game over.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

It was shared with me that many of the Bush and Obama deportations were handled at the border and they counted those as deportations. Clinton did not have a large deportation number according to the chart at the Cato Institute. Bush - 2 million, Obama - 3 million. How true that is about counting border denials, I can't say. Just wanted to share.

Featherjourney's avatar

Interesting!!

Brave AI:

How many illegals did Obama deport from within the country?

“focusing specifically on individuals removed from within the U.S., the number is approximately 3 million, with the majority processed rapidly and without judicial review.”

👍

Gary's avatar

That may be, Betty, but we are where we are because under Biden there were NO border denials. We also have video of Obama and others railing strongly against illegal aliens as a significant problem well past our borders - Obama honored Tom Homan (our current Border Czar) with a medal, and it wasn't for keeping the gate arms down. I'm not disagreeing with you in any sense, just adding some context.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

Timely questions, Ashe…

Are State governments above the Law?

Are city officials above the Law?

Are local businesses above the Law?

Is the Democrat Party above the Law??!

Sanctuary States and Cities are clearly demonstrating that they think they are above the Law and above the mandate of We the People.

Love Scott Bessent ❤️🇺🇸 Great Take, BB!! Bessent “Isn’t some Hollywood caricature”… like so many politicians are who make their way to the government stage! 👍

Venezuela and Maduro’s arrest may be the gift that keeps on giving. Thank you for your Take, Ghost!

Oh, Canada….

Ashe: “Canada is a colony of the British Crown. The Prime Minister of Canada swears allegiance to the British Monarch.”

Canada, a remaining stronghold for the British Imperial Empire!!

“In other words…Canada is projecting Britain’s power. I definitely hate that.”

If these entities didn't like the Law, and the Law was so clearly unjust, then why did they not change the Law when the parties involved had the chance? (Rhetorical question. Enabling lawlessness by fiat enforcement is a means to power, money.)

Burning Bright's avatar

It was an admittedly based take on Canada.

Gary's avatar

The word "Canola" comes from the name "Canada" and a word for Oil (think of Maize Oil - Mazola). There is no "Canola" plant per se - this product is pressed from a genetically modified strain of Rapeseed, but that was seen as a bad naming choice marketing-wise (and under that name - Rapeseed Oil - illegal in the US even before RFK Jr.) and chemically processed. Much more suited to fueling diesels and jets, not living things.

Buffy's avatar

Not sure about your information, both Rapeseed and Canola sold and widely used in the US 🤷‍♀️ Bad stuff, it’s the first thing I look for to reject a product

Wild Bill's avatar

Rapeseed oil is generally sold for industrial purposes. To the extent it might be sold as a food product, it is synonymous with canola.

The difference is in the content of erucic acid, which is toxic at high levels. Erucic acid is an omega-9 monunsaturated acid, similar to oleic acid (olive oil) except that erucic acid contains 22 carbons and oleic, 18. Canola and other edible versions were genetically selected (not modified, developed through selective breeding) to contain less than 2% erucic acid. Rapeseed oil contains more like 45% erucic acid.

The thing that is bad about most seed oils is high content of linoleic acid, a doubly-unsaturated (omega-6) C18 oil. Funny thing is that linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid, which means that it is required for proper bodily function and cannot be synthesized in our bodies. The problem comes about when linoleic acid is present at too high of a level in our diet. Linoleic acid is almost impossible to under-consume, but seed oils contain unhealthy levels of it. Pushing of seed oils is responsible for a laundry list of health issues, according to those who study such things. Animal fats are now being shown to be among the most healthy; they are basically just a source of calories with few bad side effects provided, as with most things, they are eaten in moderation. Even McDonalds has gone back to beef tallow (from vegetable or seed oils) for their french fries.

Featherjourney's avatar

I didn’t know that about McDonalds! Thanks, WildBill!

ALtab's avatar

Interesting points! Than you.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

From Brave AI:

Canola oil is a healthy cooking oil derived from the seeds of the canola plant, a specially bred variety of rapeseed developed in Canada in the 1970s to reduce levels of erucic acid and glucosinolates—compounds found in traditional rapeseed that make it unsuitable for human consumption. To qualify as canola oil, the product must contain less than 2% erucic acid and meet strict international standards.

ITALY FM ANTONIO TAJANI, ITALIAN REP ROSSANO SASSO, AND LAUNDERING E193 Billion

It appears we are getting down to the brass tacks now. Of course Zelenskyy doesn't have any generous things to say about the EU and their alleged Ukrainian War Aid of E193 Billion, because the funds were diddy'd up and sent back to each UE unelected members who voted on it, and one doesn't thank another thief for stealing interest rates off of Russian or other countries frozen assets.

And as usual Ursula von der Leyen stepped on another rake, this time the rake was left out by Italian lawmakers who didn't get a cut of the laundered money. Just think how depressing it must be for Zelenskyy & his band of money launderers to receive billions, only to divvy it up and send nearly 87%+ back to these thieves offshore accounts, and the Kyiv group have had to fight over the remaining scraps for damn near 12 years. In the meantime, Ursula is trying stop Italian FM from rocking the boat. That is a very good indication, those EU billions just might not have reached the Ukrainian laundromat.

Something happened with those alleged EU Billions that was "allegedly" to have been sent to Ukraine, you smell that, it sure smells raunchy don't it?! Ohhh Ursula, you just can't stay out of the minefield of rakes, can you! NBK

Wild Bill's avatar

I think your 87% figure is pretty well indicative of the amount of any government spending that ends up as "waste, fraud and abuse" -- all really the same thing. Minnesota, Ukraine, California, Timbuktu -- same everywhere.

This is why all the Dems and RINOs in DC are squealing so much -- get rid of waste, fraud and abuse, then where is their gravy train? Why are Ilhan Omar & 'hubby' worth $30-45MM? When she was broke in 2018 when first elected?

[They] do not want such questions answered. They'd rather we be arguing over whether Feds shooting troublemakers is justified or not.

Those who squeal the loudest, have their hands deepest into the cookie-jar.

NBK's avatar

Agreed, the only modification is the controlling majority in DC; Democrats, and republicans are in the minority, and the Uniparty holds the Majority. RINOs got sniped out in the 2017-18 RINO season, then DINOs & RINOs went full fledge UNIPARTY, a party of pure anti-Americans. RINOs/DINOs do however exist in states governmental structures. TY Bill, y'all have a blessed week frenz!

Burning Bright's avatar

At the very least, it's going to accelerate the national Canadian argument, which is a good thing.

Featherjourney's avatar

“On Real America's Voice, Bessent claimed Canada won't let Alberta build a pipeline to the Pacific.

"I think we should let them come down into the U.S., and Alberta's a natural partner for the U.S.," he said.”

JC's avatar

It's less now a matter of Canada "letting" them build a pipeline, than that after decades of effort in constructing blockers there are legal impediments in place and such a raft of characters up and down the line who would block doing so, that even the supreme power of Ottawa AND the Crown would have trouble forcing such a pipeline through in a timely manner.

And that's part of the problem: timeliness. The moment to build a pipeline was a decade ago. Now it's too late and any benefits from making progress now will be realized beyond the immediate political horizon.

Featherjourney's avatar

Very interesting… Thank You!

J. D. Vance, in an interview on Newsmax with Carl Higbie, said that during Trump's reign the percentage of MAGA Republicans has gone from ~25% to 40% and is still increasing. Vance pointed out that this is progress, slower than we'd like but better than nothing.

cgg's avatar

I never thought about the point of NATO troops being sent to assist in protecting our border. Attack on one is an attack on all is the basic premise in the charter, right? Kind of feel dumb not to have looked at it from that perspective until now. (But I guess since it wasn't Boris and Natasha crossing the Rio Grande, it's all good...)

Wild Bill's avatar

And in the end, 13 tired old guys from the Wehrmacht won't make much of a difference on the southern border, anyway.

Jim Schout's avatar

I am not here to disagree with Ashe. I just want to alter a few of her words that I think confuse the real story.

She said that Trump entered the lions den of DAVOS with three of his soldiers. I would say, more accurately, “Trump went to DAVOS with three genuine economists and confronted a world’s worth of Keynesian clown economists”.

That, quite frankly, is the world we are witnessing today. The economists were divided in about 1934 with a new concept authored by John Maynard Keynes that incorporated employment, interest rates and money into his ideas. That new theory became the world’s reality but a large number of smarter, more realistic economists disagreed strongly.

The problem for America as well as the world is the standard of measurement was the U.S. Dollar which was backed up by debt rather than any assets of real value. FDR directed America’s future using Keynes as his Bible! Wars made the dollar the only viable currency and inflation over time devalued the dollar to the point that Gold, instead of being $20 and backing the dollar as in 1935, the ounce of Gold now required $5000 to purchase. That is the net result of 90 years of Keynesian brilliance. And that is the truth that Trump took into DAVOS! It wasn’t a lions den at all, it was a cage of kittens needing a new home! Trump threw the New World Order out in the cold. They have no answer because their foundation was Keynes and he collapsed in 2017 when Trump took back our Gold!

We did not need any soldiers in DAVOS. We may need soldier in Minneapolis because the Democrats haven’t gotten the message from the Keynesians yet. They are resorting to violence to defend a losing proposition. But, that losing idea is their foundation. Too bad FDR isn’t around to admit Keynes was wrong! That would actually help the Democrats to stop getting themselves killed over a bad idea that is 90 years old.

Wild Bill's avatar

The real reason Keynesian economics keeps popping up is that it is the favored flavor of the socialists. Every time it pops up, it gets pounded down by reality, but that will never stop them from trying.

Jim Schout's avatar

Trump is proving once and for all that Keynes was wrong. Low unemployment is not inflationary due to the worker’s power to demand higher pay. Nor is the FED’s power to control interest rates really a factor in stopping inflation.

What Trump is proving is what sane economists have been arguing since 1935! The FED creates inflation by printing dollars to fund deficit spending by Congress. It is exactly the reverse of Keynes theory! This is WAR!!! The Keynesians must be killed off. Or, they can merely wake up and smell the productivity brewing.

Our problem today is FDR ramrodded Keynes into our system and it was not possible to extract it. It had to totally collapse under its own weight. Thank God, Trump has found the way to remove Keynes without the collapse. Putting Gold back is the key and doing away with a debt backed currency is the answer. Democrats hate this solution for some nutty reason that I do not understand.

Wild Bill's avatar

Keynesianism is more religion than reality. So [they] will not wake up. Accepting that they were wrong is not merely an academic concession -- it is the loss of a major part of their identity. This is why it keeps coming back -- makes them feel virtuous, in what they perceive to be a cruel world of classic economics, which has been with us at least as far back as Adam Smith.

That it doesn't, hasn't and won't work is no match for their desire to be seen as virtuous.

Jim Schout's avatar

But, will they die to prove it? It seems to me they want others to do the death thing for their ideology. So, isn’t that the way this will have to end? Some Democrats will need to do some real thinking.

Maybe that is too much to expect. Logic seems to evade the Left.

Wild Bill's avatar

Liberals normally like to send someone else off to war. Don't expect them to fall on their swords in the name of virtue. They will rationalize it somehow, but you're right -- it's OK for someone else to die for the cause, especially if they can take political advantage of it, but their courage will fade like that of a sunshine patriot.
