It may be the right time (and not the first time, by the way) for American politics to undergo a new change of political parties: MAGA vs. DSA with, in my Grandpa's dialect, a "T'ird Party" of the once-powerful D+R Uniparty. We've been brainwashed into thinking politics is a continuum - left, right, and between. But far worse, the terms force us into an assumption that everyone we place in a certain area along that line is idealogically in agreement with others in the same general area, and that's just silly if you think about it for a minute - most of us would fall all over the line depending on specific issues.
I'm no Big-L Libertarian, but they did come up with a useful "map" that draws politics in three dimensions (link below) and something they call the Nolan Chart, explained on the same page. This is still far from perfect - I'd add a spiritual dimension on the Z axis to account for one's committment to the God who guided western civilization - but it's a good start.
Ultimately, that's what's wrong with political parties - they inherently shoehorn people into what seem to be tidy categories but are more like Procrustean beds.
I guess I figure we have a few foundational issues that we agree on. There are other issues that we can agree to disagree on -- amicably.

The present day enthusiasm over the DSA is merely a natural evolution of the Democrat Party. As the old themes fall apart, were can the party go? Do they go back toward 1950 where conservative Democrats could guarantee the vote in the South? Or, do they go even farther Left?
I think the answer is obvious. Conservatives in the South left the party because they figured out that the term conservative democrats was an oxymoron. Actually, they figured out they were being played as ignorant doofs. It made them mad to be taken for granted. Ronald Reagan pointed this out and peeled off the South by 1980 to never return because the divide is not Democrat versus Republican, it is progressive liberal versus conservative.
So, where can the progressive liberals go? Do they move farther Left or reverse course and go conservative? What is Left of crazy liberal? It is the DSA. This is why the old Democrats talk about a big tent instead of rejecting these nut cases. The nut cases will vote with the old party and votes are all that matter to them. Patriotism isn’t even a part of the discussion. In fact, destroying our Constitution is their written agenda.
The DSA is winning primary elections, but will the Democrats who are being taken for granted and played as doofs vote for them? Or will they figure out they are really conservatives? That is what I see as the real question.
Let’s not forget that Trump was a Democrat and one of their heroes until he flipped. So was Reagan! Waking Democrats up is the key.
Yes, Reagan peeled off the South, and that spelled ruin for the Democrats for a decade--until Clinton figured out that via "big tent" movement the Dems could cobble together enough of a constituency to be relevant again. Backed, as we've learned since, by extensive grift machinery.
I would argue that the Ukraine war has served a second purpose for the globalists (city of London/deepstate) as a front to ensure conflict beyond its borders. Like a proxy for NATO…as funding and weapons from The US and EU has been laundered or diverted to foment war against Africa and destabilization any where they want or need it. It’s like an insurance policy. And as long as the US war machine continues to support and fund it we as a country are guilty of being ardent supporters which will come back to haunt us if we do not cease to fund it anymore. I would argue that if we do not proactively counter the extension of These operations we will be in the wrong side of history.

This is one misguided lady. She apparently thinks Trump actually lost the 2020 election and now refuses to approve Blanche because he wants to correct the Biden DOJ’s illegal jailing of the Jan 6th Protestors who demanded the alternate electors be heard in Congress.
I hope we can appreciate how ignorance of what happened in 2020 is still screwing up America. We really need to get the truth out and proven rather than just talked about with no real accountability.
