In the defense of RINOs I will point to over 90 years of playing defense with no hope of being effective at really governing. I went there in the 90’s on business and Minneapolis was safe and I walked around alone in the evening to enjoy the early October snow. It’s so sad. I think I need a break from reading this stuff.
It is always important to take breaks when needed. We all have to do that when the reality of evil overwhelms our senses.

It seems that one of the great questions of social (and therefore political) concern among Christians is God's integrity regarding promises that He has made - specifically promises made first to Abraham. This question has been around for a long time; addressed by some of the great thinkers and Bible scholars: one such man put it this way.
"Now the Promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed/Descendant. He does not say (in making the promise), 'And to seeds,' as in many but to one, 'And to your Seed,' that is, the Messiah. What I am saying is this: the covenant of Law, which came 430 years later does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify or abolish the Promise. For if the inheritance is from Law, it is no longer from a promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by means of a promise! Why the Law then? It was added because of transgressions and sins until the Descendant would come, to Whom the promise also had been made. Is the Law contrary to the Promises of God? Not at all! Before Jesus the Messiah came we (the Jews) were kept in custody by the Law, imprisoned until His revelation - the Law was our guardian. But Now! Faith has come. We are no longer under the care of the guardian (Law). We are now all able to be sons of God through faith in the Messiah Jesus." (Paul of Tarsus in Gal.3:16-26)
Therein lies the answer. "We are now ALL able to be sons of God THROUGH FAITH IN MESSIAH JESUS.
I believe that the "Israel" in whom we are to bless to be blessed are those who have faith in Jesus. Not the ethnic jews. Those who have faith in Jesus.

As Paul goes on in this letter to point out - written after confronting this very issue in Jerusalem and with Peter. We are the children of Abraham - the New Jerusalem (see Rev 21:10-11) and Mt. Zion, in which there is no temple: for God is our Sanctuary.
BTW Peter had a real change of understanding; as can be noted by his statement in his second letter (our chapter 3, verses 14-18)!

Today it occurred to me that Trump is using that very same tactic against them. I am embarrassed it took me so long to see it. But, it is very clearly what we are seeing today.
The division of that Party he is creating is the “sane” versus the “insane”! Think about it. He has the Democrat Party ready to shut down our government to demand we eliminate the group tasked with stopping illegal foreigners from coming here. You have to be totally bonkers to get behind such foolishness! Our Constitution says our government will protect our borders! That is what they are doing!
So, Democrats, make your choice and it is totally up to you personally. Are you in or out on the insanity platform? Or, is it time to take your name off of the title “Democrat Voter”?
America’s Declaration of Independence and Constitution say we are free and in control of our lives. You, for some reason known only to you, chose to register as a Democrat. But, that choice has now made it necessary for you to clarify which class of Democrat you are going to align with. Are you a sane Democrat or an insane one? Your party is pushing you for that choice.
It is fine to not choose. You can claim “Plausible Deniability” later and just say, “I wasn’t paying attention to how crazy the party was getting”. But, that will be a lie and Christians do not lie. It is in the Bible.
So, morality is the key here. Just do what is right for you! I am not here to pressure you in any way because that would be wrong on my part. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

You see the look in the eyes of that 'ICU VA nurse' in Minneapolis when he kicked out the rear light of that ICE van? That was a scary look. The look of insanity. It is no wonder he got killed -- act like that and it quickly becomes 'suicide by cop.'
I must disagree wholeheartedly. I have a large number of very fine neighbors who proudly proclaim they are registered Democrats. They are not insane nor are they stupid. These are well educated, very wealthy, seemingly very normal American citizens. They have been brainwashed. I try to reason with them, but they accuse me of being brainwashed! They say I watch too much FOX and NewsMax! They are correct! I do.
Could they be correct and I am the one screwed up? That is not for me to say. I am me, so I am biased. Do you see the problem?
I understand Jim, but I don't think we really disagree here. I see brainwashing as a form of insanity. People can see the reality around them, but they do not recognize it or act in accordance with it. Definition 3a from Miriam-Webster: "extreme folly or unreasonableness."
It can present in otherwise normal appearing people; i.e. I interpret that to mean that 'insanity' does not necessarily manifest in all aspects of a person's life. They may well be able to act normally in most activities, but still be unable to see reality in certain things. Politics, for instance.
I don't think you are screwed up at all, Jim. Describing or understanding the behavior of otherwise normal people when they go crazy about something like politics is tough. It is hard to understand how in the world someone can seem so normal in some ways but so irrational and unreasonable in others. Yet, it happens. They have been programmed, and are acting in accordance with their programming.
Trump Derangement Syndrome is an example of this. People who all of a sudden explode in anger at the mere mention of Trump's name. Call it crazy, insane or brainwashed -- to me it is all pretty much the same.
The local Democrats I was describing see what I see and all is peachy! We can eat great meals at the country club, play golf and tennis, ride bikes, walk dogs, and vote. Life is good!
Politics do not affect our lives in any way. But, they listen to CNN and mainstream news. That affects their attitude about voting. They do not know a single thing about cargo planes carrying Gold nor the Act of 1871. They are totally sane, but are still Democrats.
What is needed is an education for them. Or, I need to be re-programmed. My brain is loaded with knowledge that is going to waste and I keep doing research leading to nothing. Something has to happen to get the news media to start telling a correct story to these people. They are still very happy with the status quo.
Imagine how rude would have been their awakening had HRC been allowed to preside. Maybe in 2024 when everyone in the world was lined up for mandatory no exemption jabs they would finally realize "Oh, this was all a trap."
It's extremely disturbing how many people THINK they know what's going on but have absolutely no clue. All their bloodlines would have ended.

I think Trump is pushing the two-state thing on the Zionists because he knows it will break them and yet result in the very thing they insist on: a one-state solution, but not the Zionist state they had in mind. Because if the DNA reports floating around are true, then it's the native population that never left that are the true descendants of Jacob, not the recent imports from Europe and elsewhere. Converting to Islam or adhering to some form of Catholicism or Eastern Orthodoxy centuries ago does not change DNA. Wouldn't that be a switch. Or as the Elemental in The Chronicles of Riddick said, "What are the odds of that?"
