Trump to make first court appearance Thursday afternoon in Jan. 6 case
Former President Trump is scheduled to make his first court appearance Thursday afternoon after being indicted on federal charges related to the transfer of power after the 2020 election.
His appearance is slated for 4 p.m. before U.S. Magistrate Judge Moxila Upadhyaya at the E. Barrett Prettyman Courthouse in Washington, D.C.
A spokesperson for special counsel Jack Smith said it was the office’s understanding that the appearance will be in person but that it was ultimately up to the court. A Trump attorney during a CNN appearance similarly indicated it was the court’s decision.
“That’s up to the court. The court makes those decisions. So, we’re prepared to follow whatever the court rules are. The judge issued a summons, and he will appear either virtually or in person,” Trump attorney John Lauro told CNN after the indictment was filed.
A court spokesperson did not return a request for comment.

Our Take: “Anons aren't moving goalposts when we react with excitement to each new indictment, and follow with anticipation each new 'walls are closing in' deployment by media shills.
We're acting this way because we were seeded with these ideas far in advance, so that we might act as the frame and support for the psychological battles and revelations to come.
To wit: many of us were saying this before the FIRST indictment.
As a result, a lot of Con Inc. doom merchants who never lost their blue checks are suddenly doing an about-face on how the walls are closing in on Trump because they’re realizing Anons have been right for years.
Trump’s third indictment, or rather, his demeanor in the face of it and his true supporters’ excitement over it has them rattled because they know there’s now a limited shelf life on Doom Mongering.
Thing is, they’re idiots or controlled opposition, and the people will see them clearly as the tide shifts.” —
Watch: Tucker's Explosive Devon Archer Interview, Admits Joe 'Knew That Business Associates' Were On Call
Tucker Carlson dropped a shocking interview on Wednesday with Devon Archer, two days after the former Hunter Biden associate testified before Congress, where he admitted that he and Hunter Biden essentially traded on the Biden name, but also claimed that 'the big guy' wasn't involved.
Tucker begins by asking Archer if he thinks Hunter could have succeeded as well in his business endeavors if he was not the son of the vice president. Archer trod a little carefully at first, reflecting on Hunter's law school background but then admitted:
"The brand of Biden adds a lot of power when your dad's the Vice President."
Archer also confirmed "yes, I can definitely say that" then vice-president Biden knew there were officials in the room when he got on the speakerphone with Hunter Biden - the 20 or so times that Archer recalls.
“So Joe Biden, who is very much a product of Washington, of course must have known that he was calling into effectively a business meeting,” Carlson said. “Something’s happening. He must have understood that that was kind of what his son was selling.”
“Well that’s hard for me to speculate,” Archer answered. ” “But like, just to keep it to the facts, Joe Biden, then the sitting Vice President knew that there were Hunter’s business associates in the room,” Carlson pressed.
“Yeah, I think I can definitively say at particular dinners and meetings, he knew there were business associates and he, or if I was there, I was a business associate too. So I think, you know, any of the other colleagues from the DC office or New York were there,” Archer said.
He also said that Hunter's ability to reach out during business meetings to the then-VP was the "pinnacle of power in DC". — ZeroHedge

Our Take: “On Monday, Tucker released Episode 12 of Tucker on Twitter, a roughly 12 minute interview with Devon Archer.
During the discussion, Archer confirmed the Republicans’ read out of his closed door testimony earlier this week—that Hunter Biden was selling access to his father and that Joe Biden was regularly engaged with his son’s business partners.
Towards the end, Tucker shares a letter that then VP Joe Biden wrote to Archer, thanking him for going into business with Hunter and apologizing for not being able to get away from the President of China to spend more time with Hunter’s new business associate. The short interview destroys the Democrat narrative coming out of Archer’s closed door testimony, and Tucker will be releasing a longer interview with Archer in the near future.
That means we don’t need to trust politicians about Archer’s testimony. We’re going to get it first hand from Archer himself.” —
Another Take: “The brilliance of the Narrative Convergence we're seeing between Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson and the House Oversight Committee is one of the most encouraging signs of the layered coordination we're seeing in the War of Stories, which IS the Info War.
Unless you think it's a coincidence that Weaponization of DOJ Narrative Deployments by patriots last weekend are actualized with Trump, while the House and Tucker cut through the media noise to highlight the true corruption in the White House?
When you start to engage with the Info War as a layered Narrative, you see:
- MAGA mouth pieces speak to the base, and amplify messages to the mainstream.
- Tucker is beginning to hit the reachable, disillusioned centrists/independents.
- Trump speaks to all layers simultaneously.
Anons have the unique ability to traverse Narrative Layers, making us paradigm travelers. This lends Q followers and diggers a unique ability to formulate Macro out of congruent, and sometimes conflicting Micros.” —
Democrat Bennie Thompson Touts ‘Bipartisan’ J6 Committee After Trump Indictment
Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) was quick to claim credit for the defunct January 6 Committee after a grand jury returned an indictment against former President Donald Trump on Tuesday in connection to the 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol.
Soon after the Washington, DC, grand jury returned a four-count indictment against the leading Republican presidential candidate, Thompson took to “X,” formerly Twitter, and lauded the “bipartisan” subcommittee he chaired in the last Congress.
“And, at the end of its investigation, the bipartisan January 6th Select Committee turned over to the Justice Department its evidence of an extensive plot by the ex-President to overturn the Presidential election on January 6th and prevent the peaceful transfer of power,” Thompson wrote.
“Today’s charges are consistent with those the Select Committee referred to the Special Counsel last year, and successful prosecutions will not only bring accountability but also help prevent something like January 6th from ever happening again,” he added. — Breitbart
Our Take: “This movie is getting old.
Indicting Donald Trump has become the Fast and Furious of Deep State ploys with endless iterations of the same cheap, thoughtless stratagem. In fact, this tactic has quite a long and colorful history that stretches well beyond the advent of ‘the Donald.’
Beyond branding Trump as a criminal, the one thing that the Security State needs you to believe more than anything else is that the greatest threat to America is not some foreign adversary or corrupt politician, but your own neighbor. The constant warnings that domestic terrorists (i.e. anyone who outwardly defies the liberal establishment) are somehow a more imminent threat than Chinese infiltration or compromised officials harkens back to the early days of COINTELPRO, where institutions like the FBI would plant agents or acquire informants within groups like the KKK, the Black Panthers etc. and sort of steer these groups in ways that would stoke division and support the narratives of the day.
We saw the FBI employ this tactic again to an even more alarming degree during the War on Terror, when they built a network of more than 15,000 informants whose primary purpose was to infiltrate Muslim communities to create and facilitate phony terrorist plots so that the Bureau could then claim it was winning the war on terror.
And we see this all playing out again today with the FBI inserting informants and agent provocateurs into the crowd on J6. They've infiltrated and manipulated groups like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers, and they also seem to have created groups like Patriot Front and Blood Tribe out of whole cloth. Not to mention what came to light during the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping scandal.
Significant time, money and resources went into crafting these narratives, and despite the fact that they stand on a weak foundation of observable lies, the Deep State pols have no real choice but to double down on them.
The Deep State skullduggery has never been more obvious then it is today. Eventually, even some of our friends on the other side of the political aisle will have no choice but to see it as well.” —
Trump: Russia Hoax to Blame for Weaponization of Justice, Ukraine War, Could Lead to WWIII
Writing in “Newsweek,” President Donald Trump noted that “the Russia Hoax stoked mass hysteria” that drove “Russia straight into the arms of China” and led to “a proxy war with Russia” which could lead to WW III. “Either the Deep State destroys America, or we destroy the Deep State,” Trump wrote.
Writing in the mainstream news magazine, President Donald J. Trump noted that the Durham report makes it clear that “the Russia Hoax was the most atrocious weaponization of our government in American history. It was a crime like no other.” When Trump ran for President against the swamp, his agenda was “an existential threat to a Washington establishment that got rich and powerful bleeding America dry,” he wrote.
“I vowed to stop mass illegal immigration, terminate globalist trade deals, end the sellout of our country to Communist China, stand up to the permanent bureaucracy and the corporate media, and break the neocon addiction to endless foreign wars,” Trump said.
In order to stop President Trump’s MAGA agenda, “an unelected cabal in the senior ranks of our government,” in concert with Hillary Clinton and the fake news media, launched “the de-facto coup attempt known as the Russia Hoax,” Trump writes, aiming to prevent his election, or sabotage his presidency. — The Gateway Pundit
Our Take: “Since the first impeachment where the Democrat impeachment managers fabricated a crime and lied with impunity, I have said, ‘They knew they’d get caught, and they decided to put our country through this anyway.’ And they are caught — but accountability for the American people is yet to be realized.
Since President Trump came down the escalator, the Deep State and their public puppets have continually revealed themselves. As President Trump said during his inauguration speech,
‘For too long, a small group in our nation’s capitol has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation’s capitol, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.’
As the President says in this op-ed, they’ve normalized the weaponization of government such that it’s on full display, across the nation, at all levels. It won’t end until we end it, and it’s up to us now.
As Trump said, ‘Either the Deep State destroys America, or we destroy the Deep State.’ —
South Africa Says BRICS Will Move Forward on Expansion at Summit
A planned announcement on the expansion of BRICS at a forthcoming summit in South Africa will mark a significant change in the global order, the nation’s ambassador to the five-nation bloc said, even as some of its members push back against new admissions.
Heads of state from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa will make a pronouncement on the enlargement of the group when they meet Aug. 22-24, Anil Sooklal said in a lecture at the University of KwaZulu-Natal on Wednesday. Twenty-two nations have asked formally to become full-time members of the group, and more than 20 others have submitted informal requests.
China favors a rapid expansion of the bloc, which will require consensus among its members. But it has encountered opposition from India, which wants strict rules on how and when other nations could move closer to the group without formally enlarging it, and from Brazil, which is wary of alienating the US and European Union, according to officials with knowledge of the matter. — Bloomberg
Our Take: “As the controlled implosion of the Cabal economy proceeds, at pace, those who aren’t as excited to get the latest globalist banking system update are doing their own thing.
BRICS has been uttered by those seeking a better, more trustworthy system for years now.
I remember hearing about it all the way back in 2011.
There’s a lot of hope and excitement surrounding BRICS, which I think is warranted.
That said, there’s a necessary, it would seem, need for operational security that leaves many of the key details left undisclosed.
The fact is, from where I’m standing, the devil is in the details.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of humanity doesn’t really understand money, where it comes from, what it is, and how to ensure it’s a tool for freedom and prosperity instead of tyranny. As a result, our financial systems have become tools for globalist and oligarchic power.
The globalists have capitalized on this nescience and ignorance for at least the past 500 years.
So while I’m optimistic, I’m also trepidatious.
Better financial systems and money systems have emerged in the past, fairly frequently.
Bitcoin, the Lincoln-Greenback, various forms of sovereign-citizen-style paper currencies, gold-backed currencies, and colonial scrip. All of these have benefits and detrimental aspects. And nearly all of them were hijacked, destroyed, ended, or manipulated into oblivion.
I would argue that the neo-currencies coming on the table, like Bitcoin, have incredible power to turn the tide. But none of them will last if WE THE PEOPLE continue to remain nescient.
A tool is only as good as the mind that knows how to use and maintain it.
The globalists are expert money and trade manipulators. They are also patient and know that they can, slowly, often without detection, affect a complete hijacking of a financial system.
But if WE THE PEOPLE were vigilant, and knew how to do so effectively, they couldn’t encroach on our currency one inch.
I don’t know about you, but I want to fight and win this battle, for good. And I don’t want my children, friends, neighbors, or even enemies, to slip down into the financial pit of hell the globalist work so hard to maintain.” —
Kerik files surrendered to prosecutors show Trump team still probing election claims before Jan. 6
Just days before Donald Trump's latest indictment, former New York Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik turned over to Special Counsel Jack Smith a trove of documents that show the Trump legal team was still conducting a sprawling, police-like probe that hadn’t resolve most of the allegations of 2020 election fraud it had collected before the Jan. 6 Capitol riot broke out.
Kerik was running the investigation for Trump’s lead election challenge litigator, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, the memos show.
A lawyer involved in producing the documents to Smith told Just the News the memos could prove to be valuable evidence of the state of mind of the former president and his legal team that undercuts the theory that prosecutors laid out in Tuesday's indictment of an intentional fraud conspiracy between Trump and six other unnamed co-conspirators to overturn the 2020 election results.
The files reviewed by Just the News show Kerik and a small team working under Giuliani collected affidavits from voters or election observers alleging wrongdoing, had academics produce data analyses identifying possible statistical voting anomalies and even marked up government documents that identified potential election system vulnerabilities that worried experts before the 2020 election. — Just the News
Our Take: “Fundamental to Jack Smith’s latest indictments is that President Trump knew the claims of election fraud were false on January 6.
Now, in the years since the stolen election, we know with certainty that these claims were not false and that the 2020 election was stolen. There are very few Americans who still believe that Joe Biden received 81 million legitimate votes. Evidence and analysis from every swing state confirm that the 2020 election was illegitimate. And the multi-year, whole-of-government coverup has been worse than the crime.
But Smith has to prove that President Trump’s claims were false, and that he knew they were false. That has many in MAGA excited that we will finally see the evidence of election fraud presented in a court of law.
While the establishment claims all fraud claims have been litigated, in reality, most cases have been dismissed on procedural grounds without the courts hearing the evidence. In order for Smith to prove that Trump knew his claims were false, the claims will have to be argued. If Trump believed the claims — which he has maintained since Nov 3 with supporting evidence across the swing states — then his claims are protected by the First Amendment.
An ancillary benefit of Smith’s latest witch hunt is new awakenings.
One Twitter user on Tuesday posted, ‘Not a Trump lover or hater… but your vitriol for the man cannot be so deep that it blinds you to the fact that if the justice system can be used to abuse him, it can be used to abuse you.’
Great awakening, indeed.” —

Be prepared dear patriot, for the whole Deep State agenda to be highlighted by Trump testimony and blow everyone away who has been sleeping. It is a BOMB that never should have or could have gone off without the Deep State setting it off, but it will bring the house of cards down, more than anything else! Thanks for your service dear Badlands Media. Expect big, huge things on the horizon in August!!!
BRICS' not BRIC'S. readout is one word. first-hand with the hyphen. then-VP with hyphen and check that whole paragraph for consistent use of the hyphen and capitalization.
In yesterday's article, please check the homonyms piqued, peaked and peeked.
You added two words to my vocabulary today: nescient and trepidatious. Hooray!
