"Mass Casualty Incident Declared After Explosion at Dairy Farm in Dimmitt, Texas – Nearly 20,000 Cattle Die"

As a certain alphabet letter used to say, "when does it become mathematically impossible?" Trains, food, energy.......

The effect may be accounted for with air circulation devices, but the story of 20,000 cows housed in a dwelling gives rise to an obvious question: If methane gas from large herds of cattle in the fields shocks - SHOCKS!! - the greenies for its impact, then surely similar enclosures of 200 to 1000 to 20,000 cattle must be ticking time bombs all over the continent. Don’t dare light a match, Mr. Herdsman, ‘cause she’ll blow up re-eeeel gud! Have these methane-loaded barns been blowing up all over the place over the centuries but we’ve just never heard about them? Or have the cows just been polite when inside?
