Total Farce: Real Spending Under Debt Ceiling Deal Actually Goes Up Next Year

Late last week, we were the first to correctly summarize what the bottom line of the so-called "debt ceiling deal" meant for the US, for future generations of Americans, and for the ridiculous melodrama gripping Washington: a -0.2% of GDP cut in nominal spending.

That's right: that 0.2% cut in spending is what all the brewhaha was over, a cut which will not only push total debt to $35 trillion by the end of Biden's term, but will not even put a dent in the long-term US debt trajectory which even the CBO has no problem as showing in its full, hyperinflationary glory.

Still, to Kevin McCarthy who "negotiated" on behalf of America's conservatives, that paltry, laughable nominal "spending reduction" was apparently something to be very proud of, as he repeatedly pointed out on his twitter feed...

... if only a closer look reveals that not all is as it seems.

In its post-mortem of the debt ceiling deal published this evening, Goldman summarizes the outcome as follows: "the spending deal looks likely to reduce spending by 0.1-0.2% of GDP yoy in 2024 and 2025, compared with a baseline in which funding grows with inflation. That said, the boost to funding Congress approved late last year for FY23 was so large (nearly 10% yoy) that overall discretionary spending is likely to be slightly higher in real terms next year despite the new caps."

Translation: the "deal" may result in a nominal 0.1% drop in spending (just for next year, after that it ramps up again), but adjusted for inflation, spending in 2024 will be higher yet again! — ZeroHedge

Our Take: “One of my more frequent appeals in the Info War is that, ‘Bad news is good news in the Mind War.’

The war we track relies as much on an analysis on the Actual (observable events, from the political to the kinetic,) as it does on the Potential (the Narratives to spin out of said ‘Actual Events.)

With the Debt Ceiling ‘negotiations,’ I think one of the reasons some folks like me aren’t being very reactive is due to the foundational belief I hold that a part of Operation Warp Speed has been the continued, irrational and accelerationist spending re: the US Dollar in order to help transition us into a new economy built on the Real rather than the unReal.

With the debt ceiling fiasco being the latest in a long and highly public line of economic failures being pegged to the Biden Admin—and RINO’s in the Senate and House who allow this to continue—nothing has shaken that underlying belief.” — Burning Bright

No Laughing Matter: John Cleese Holds Line Against Calls To Cancel Scene In 'Life Of Brian'

We have previously discussed how comedians have been objecting that woke activists are killing comedy. The complaint is that a group of perpetually pissed off, humorless people are remaking the world in their own image.

It began with college campuses where comedians are now saying are dead as venues since you cannot safely make any joke that insults any group other than white straight males or Christians or conservatives. Others have objected to hate speech laws limiting comedians, particularly after some comedians have been prosecuted for “malicious communications” or insulting groups or religious figures. Six out of ten students view offensive jokes as hate speech. This week, however, activists appear to have met their match in a legend of comedy who has opposed the cutting of  a scene from the movie The Life of Brian. 

No, activists are not upset with the endless jokes about Italians, Christians, and Jews. It is the scene involving a man who wants to become a women and have a child. 

In The Life of Brian, the scene involves “Stan” who announces that he wants to be a woman named Loretta and have babies. 

Activists objected that it made fun of transgender people and demanded that it be cut from the film.

The scene shows Stan declaring “I want to be a woman… It’s my right as a man. I want to have babies… It’s every man’s right to have babies if he wants them.” After Cleese’s protest, the character snaps, “Don’t you oppress me!” — Jonathan Turley

Our Take: “Heroes, we need them.

When a man, or woman, stands by a reasoned argument that is itself founded on principles, as John Cleese has done, we feel a sense of heroism from them. There's a reason why.

Tyranny often requires abandonment of principled stances—rejection of truth and objective value in favor of compliance with an authority. That authority is often a ruler who has ideologically gained control over a population. The ideologically possessed population is, by definition, truth and value illiterate and blind—they can't discern or act on valid truth and value positions, especially when it requires any measure of courage.

That description fits. John Cleese, in epic synchronistic fashion, managed to encapsulate the insanity of the modern-woke trans agenda in a film from over 40 years ago. Then, like now, Cleese isn't backing down. Cleese like J.K. Rowling is refusing to bend the knee to the corporate-sponsored woke mob. He will continue to be attacked by the ideologically possessed supplicants to tyranny.

FALSE FLAG? Who Is U-Haul White House Attacker And Suspected Nazi Sai Varshith Kandula

Our Take: “The Hill is using the term ‘False Flag,’ and that means Operation Nazi U-Haul didn’t go as planned.

Sai Varshith Kandula is the nonwhite alleged white supremacist who drove a U-Haul truck into White House barricades last week while carrying a Nazi flag (and ostensibly screaming ‘this is Maga Country’).

Kandula was originally ‘charged with threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president, vice president or family member, as well as assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing and destruction of federal property,’ according to the NY Post.

Legacy media immediately attempted to exploit the May 22 incident, with CNN’s Andrew McCabe stating, ‘And I think you have to draw a line from this apparent attack on the White House by someone bearing a Nazi flag to at least some of the people, it’s hard to say how many, but some of the people involved in the January 6th attack on the Capitol.’

Yes, that Andrew McCabe, and yes he did use his new career in media to link the alleged brown white supremacist U-Haul driver to January 6 defendants. FBI psy-op habits die hard, I guess.

Obviously Kandula isn’t affiliated with J6 as, ‘His federal charges have since been downgraded to a single count of depredation of property of the United States in excess of $1,000.’ Meaning, all those scary terrorism-style charges got dropped. That doesn’t happen for J6ers. That only happens for confidential human sources.

In other news, the Writer’s Guild of America strike now heads into its fifth week, and US intelligence agencies appear to be most impacted among WGA stakeholder groups. For example, on Memorial Day, an unidentified suspect displaying a sign that indicated he had ‘an explosive device’ drove his truck toward the Canadian Port of Entry, resulting in a corporal opening fire. The suspect wasn't injured and surrendered. No flag was recovered, though his official status with the National Socialist Party of America is unclear.” — Ashe in America

DOJ, Prosecutors Trying To Claw Back Donations Made To J6 Defendants

While BLM protesters got a Kamala Harris-endorsed bail fund during the violent and destructive mostly peaceful George Floyd riots, the Department of Justice is trying to claw back donations made to January 6th political prisoners.

According to AP, the DOJ is trying to seize over $25,000 raised by Texas resident Daniel Goodwyn, who appeared on Tucker Carlson's former Fox News show where he promoted a website for political donations.

The AP looked at over 1,000 criminal cases from Jan 6., and noted that prosecutors have been asking judges to enhance fines on top of prison sentences to offset donations from supporters.

“Dozens of defendants have set up online fundraising appeals for help with legal fees, and prosecutors acknowledge there's nothing wrong with asking for help for attorney expenses. But the Justice Department has, in some cases, questioned where the money is really going because many of those charged have had government-funded legal representation.

Most of the fundraising efforts appear on GiveSendGo, which bills itself as “The #1 Free Christian Fundraising Site” and has become a haven for Jan. 6 defendants barred from using mainstream crowdfunding sites, including GoFundMe, to raise money.” — ZeroHedge

Our Take: “Not sure we live in a society were there is no rule of law and there is no justice?

Here, this should help clean things up for you.

What we're witnessing right now is human sacrifice. Granted, people aren't being dragged to the Brazen Bull for ritual immolation, but symbolically, the establishment political class in the US is using innocent people to commit a public sacrifice.

All sacrifice, especially the dark occult variety, requires the shedding of innocent blood. This ancient and still conducted practice is an effort to sway a malevolent bloodthirsty God or demi-god, who convinces their acolytes that they can stay the hand of the true God of all creation. Or, that this rite will provide some temporal benefit to those commuting the sacrifice.

In this case, the dark God is the God of false justice, false rule of law—the god of parasitic tyranny and authoritarian control.

And like other times in history when dark priests and shadowmen sacrifice innocence in front of the unthinking masses, it produces a kind of emotional fervor that entrenches witnesses into the ideology of the dark priests even further.

Thousands flock to Missouri to see exhumed body of nun who shows little decay since 2019 death

Thousands flocked to a small Missouri town over the weekend to see the exhumed body of a nun who has barely decomposed since she died in 2019.

Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster, 95, was exhumed in April, nearly four years after her May 29, 2019, death, according to the Benedictines of Mary, Queen of Apostles, in Gower, which is about 45 minutes north of Kansas City. Her body is set to be placed in a glass shrine in the church on Monday. 

Samuel Dawson, 63, and his son were among the visitors last week. He was raised Siciilan Catholic and said this was something he needed to see for himself.

"With all the negativity in the world, it was beautiful to see people from all races from around the country come together in peace," Dawson said about the visit. — CBS News

Our Take: “Sister Wilhelmina Lancaster's body was exhumed because of construction, according to nuns close to the matter. She was not embalmed prior to being buried in 2019 in a wooden coffin set in ‘very moist clay.’ And she has, according to the reports, barely decomposed.

The local Diocese is investigating Sister Lancaster as a possible case of ‘incorruptibility.’ According to Catholic tradition, incorruptibility ‘indicates a divine intervention that stops or slows decomposition as a sign of holiness.’

Whether or not the natural or the Divine is at work here, I can’t say, but embalming is meant to preserve. Without embalming, you would expect that a body would decompose more quickly. This one isn’t, and that’s both intriguing and counterintuitive.

10,000-15,000 people each day are reportedly traveling from all over the world to see Sister Lancaster, as Canon Law allows for the inspection of an ‘incorruptible saint.’ Visitors are reminded not to touch her remains while conducting their inquiries and paying their respects.” — Ashe in America
