Trump Indicted (Again) For 'Efforts To Overturn 2020 Election'; DeSantis Defends
Another day, another indictment aimed at keeping former President Trump out of the Oval Office.
"I hear that Deranged Jack Smith, in order to interfere with the Presidential Election of 2024, will be putting out yet another Fake Indictment of your favorite President, me, at 5:00 P.M," Trump wrote Tuesday on Truth Social. "Why didn’t they do this 2.5 years ago? Why did they wait so long? Because they wanted to put it right in the middle of my campaign. Prosecutorial Misconduct!" he continued.
[…]
As reactions to Trump's latest indictment roll in, one notable defender is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who tweeted that he would, as president, "end the weaponization of government, replace the FBI Director, and ensure a single standard of justice for all Americans."
DeSantis added that DC is a "swamp," and that it's "unfair to have to stand trial before a jury that is reflective of the swamp mentality." — ZeroHedge
Our Take: “Perhaps the most clear and encouraging sign that the Q Op was the mostly wildly successful seeding campaign ever, and that the ongoing Disclosure campaign is working as planned is the parabolic reaction curve of Anons to Trump indictments.
Initial rumors were met with negative reaction, which reached a fever pitch with the first indictment actualization.
This reactivity cooled with the second indictment … and it’s inverting ahead of the third, with most Anons now unironically excited.
Movie.
Additionally, whether the Trump-DeSantis feud is for narrative purposes or genuine, all DeSantis is doing by rushing to the timely defense of Trump is demonstrating to Trump's supporters that the powers behind him are looking to wear the America First movement as a skin suit in order to co-opt the messaging of the man who sparked it all in the first place.
It's not going to help Establishment polling, while it's going to continue to launch Trump into the stratosphere.
The more they attack, the more they put themselves above the message, the more they're revealed.” —
France Evacuates Citizens From Niger After Neighbours Warn of War
France began the evacuation of hundreds of French and European citizens from Niger on Tuesday, a day after neighbours Mali and Burkina Faso said any outside intervention to restore the ousted government would be seen as a declaration of war.
A military junta overthrew Niger's democratically elected President Mohamed Bazoum and his government last Wednesday in the seventh military takeover in less than three years in West and Central Africa.
The coup has sent shockwaves across West Africa's Sahel region, one of the poorest and most unstable in the world, where Niger was considered the West's most stable ally in the fight against a fast-growing Islamist insurgency.
West African regional bloc ECOWAS has threatened to use force to reinstate Bazoum, while neighbouring Mali and Burkina Faso - also ruled by military juntas - said they would come to Niger's defence. — U.S. News
Our Take: “Are African nations uniting against the west? Following the Niger coup last week, where President Mohamed Bazoum was overthrown by his presidential guard and removed from power (dare to dream, Americans), the conflict appears to be escalating and alliances are coming into focus.
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) — an international organization founded in 1975 following the post-colonial independence of the region — is at the center of the conflict. ECOWAS began as an economic collaboration, but has grown to include military joint operations and a standing peacekeeping force. Mali, Burkina Faso, and Guinea have been suspended from ECOWAS, and during the ongoing coup, President Bazoum has been referred to as ‘a French puppet.’
Mali and Burkina Faso declared Monday that an attack on Niger is an attack on all of them and that they will intervene militarily. ‘Any military intervention against Niger would be tantamount to a declaration of war against Burkina Faso and Mali,’ they warned.
The ECOWAS Commission, ‘condemns in the strongest terms the attempt to seize power by force and calls on the coup plotters to free the democratically elected president of the republic immediately and without any condition.’
The US and UK have issued statements of support for ECOWAS and called for an end to the conflict. ‘We strongly condemn any effort to detain or subvert the functioning of Niger’s democratically elected government, led by President Bazoum,’ National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said in a statement last Wednesday. ‘Niger is a critical partner for the United States.’
For how long remains to be seen.
Notably the coup happened at the same time as the Russia-Africa Summit in Kenya, where African leaders spent two days negotiating a grain deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has been courting allies in the region.
Oh, also, and I’m sure totally unrelated, Niger has major gold and uranium reserves.
Who knew it was time for a new front in World War III? And where are we sending the enhanced aid package? You know it’s coming. According to the White House, ‘U.S. assistance includes over $140 million in development, food security, and humanitarian aid to Niger this year alone.’ —
Comer, Jordan Signal Ability to Prove Joe Biden Bribery Allegation
Monday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” Reps. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, and Jim Jordan (R-OH), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, indicated they would be able to “prove” allegations that President Joe Biden was involved in bribery.
“[W]ill you both answer yes or no — do you believe that this is now officially the Joe Biden bribery allegation?” host Sean Hannity said. “And do you believe that you will be able to prove that, Jim Comer?”
“I sure hope so,” Comer replied. “And I do believe that there’s a lot of smoke. And where there’s smoke, there’s fire. We just heard testimony today that Joe Biden had lied to the American people.”
“Jim Jordan, do you believe that?” Hannity said. “Do you believe that the DOJ has been helping to cover it up?”
“Well, it sure looks that way,” Jordan said. “And I would tell you this: Joe Biden said he was not involved. There were two dinners at the Cafe Milano in D.C. One of them, as you pointed out, where Joe Biden was there for the entire dinner, both times. One of them had Mrs. Baturina, this Russian — the wealthiest woman in Russia, worth over $1 billion. So that sure is a different story than what he’s been telling us all along.” — Breitbart
Our Take: “It's really starting to seem as though the stage is set for Biden's departure. Will he go sooner than later? Will he try to stay in the race until he's earned himself an impeachment? Will the Newsom/Whitmer ticket start to be pushed as per Seth Keshel's recent prediction? Will Obama be the puppeteer pulling their strings as well?
So many questions with one certainty at their core; Biden is finished.
The Obama thing is perhaps the most important aspect of all this. They might be able to shuffle Biden's shambling corpse off the stage, but what will House Republicans do about the looming problem in the background? A significant portion of Americans, probably on both sides of the political aisle, know or at least suspect that Joe has been a proxy for Obama. So how will we remove the root problem?
The ‘Brand’ Hunter was selling wasn't sleepy joe's, and I would bet the chances that Biden acted alone in threatening to withhold a billion dollars from Ukraine are slim to none. My take is that Biden didn't have that kind of juice in the democrat mafia, but Obama did.
Interesting that Obama's been in the headlines again recently. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it's my hope that we see more attention paid to the Obama's in the coming weeks and months because sleepy Joe is not the big fish we're looking for. If there is a trail of dirt leading to Obama, the time to pounce is drawing near, and if anyone could have blundered Obama's (mostly) clean hands, it would be Joe the Sleepy.
Obama said it best: ‘Never underestimate Joe's ability to #$%& things up.’ —
US credit rating downgraded in shock move: ‘Deterioration in standards of governance’
Ratings agency Fitch on Tuesday downgraded the US government’s top credit rating to AA+ from AAA, citing an expected fiscal deterioration over the next three years as well as a high and growing general government debt burden.
The dollar ticked lower following the downgrade, which came two months after President Biden and the Republican-controlled House reached a debt ceiling agreement after months of political brinkmanship. The deal lifted the government’s $31.4 trillion debt ceiling.
“In Fitch’s view, there has been a steady deterioration in standards of governance over the last 20 years, including on fiscal and debt matters, notwithstanding the June bipartisan agreement to suspend the debt limit until January 2025,” the rating agency said in a statement.
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said she disagreed with Fitch’s downgrade, in a statement that called it “arbitrary and based on outdated data.”

Our Take: “When Standard & Poors downgraded the US credit rating to AA-plus in 2011, it stayed there. Now Fitch has joined S&P, a further indication that those managing the US economy are failing the American People.
Failing the American People is, of course, the goal of the Great Reset to the New World Order. American sovereignty, let alone exceptionalism, cannot be allowed if Agenda 2030 is to succeed. America must be brought to her knees or, perhaps more appropriately, America must be knee-capped for the global regime to finish the job.
The White House gasped in horror at the news: ‘… it defies reality to downgrade the United States at a moment when President Biden has delivered the strongest recovery of any major economy in the world,’ Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre said in a statement before predictably blaming Republicans for the state of the economy. ‘And it’s clear that extremism by Republican officials—from cheerleading default, to undermining governance and democracy, to seeking to extend deficit-busting tax giveaways for the wealthy and corporations—is a continued threat to our economy.’
It would be laughable if we weren’t in the middle of a war.
As long as the regime puppets run the US economy, the regime plan will continue. It doesn’t end until we end it.” —
‘Let them debate’: Trump says first meeting of GOP candidates might determine his 2024 VP pick
Former President Trump teased on Monday that the first Republican presidential primary debate might help him narrow down his choices for a vice presidential running mate.
Fox News is hosting the first GOP presidential primary debate on Aug. 23 in Milwaukee. The debate begins at 9 p.m. ET.
"Let them debate so I can see who I MIGHT consider for Vice President!" Trump posted on his Truth Social Monday morning.

Our Take: Trump’s stance hadn’t change much by Tuesday …
Once again, Trump's public comms may sometimes seem crass and spontaneous, but this one hints at the major paradigm shift that's been taking place somewhat slowly over the course of the last few years, and then all at once.
By turning the idea of the GOP Debates into a meme that Trump wields full control over, Trump is simultaneously elevating himself (and the America First movement,) while denigrating the GOP, the two-party system and the Establishment clown show American politics has become.
And this is a good thing.” —
