McCarthy Launches Biden Impeachment Inquiry
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday announced that the House will open an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden over a variety of alleged crimes, skipping a formal House vote he had previously teased.
According to McCarthy, Reps. James Comer and Jim Jordan will spearhead it.
"Biden used his official office to coordinate with Hunter Biden's business partners, about Hunter's role in Burisma - the Ukrainian energy company," said McCarthy, adding "it appears that the president's family has been offered special treatment by Biden's own administration." — ZeroHedge
Our Take: “You can’t impeach an illegitimate president. But there is power in impeachment inquiries. You will recall the Trump impeachment hearings had historic ratings, dominated headlines, and consumed water cooler discussions around the country. While the media will do their best to downplay the historic proceedings, the nature of the event will demand coverage.
I’ve always advocated for impeachment hearings — regardless of the outcome of any impeachment vote — because of their disclosure power. It’s time the Biden Laptop Report reruns played on the big screen. Impeachment hearings will awaken a whole new cohort to the Biden Crime Family racketeering operation, including the exposure of everyone who has turned a blind eye and helped cover it up.
It’s time for the truth to dominate headlines. At least 459 crimes can now be tried in the court of public opinion. The real question is: Will Republicans be able to deliver, or will we get a show trial meant to pacify the people and, ultimately, let the Bidens off the hook? Either option favors the awakening.” —
Another Take: “Let's go Bicameral with the Biden Impeachment inquiry:
A) Successful impeachment puts continued egg on the face of the Establishment, the DNC and all those who totally, definitely voted for him.
B) Failure to impeach puts continued egg on the face of the UniParty's ineptitude (or corruption,) furthers the self-perpetuating Hegelian doom loop that modern politics has become and ... saddles [them] with a controlled, disastrous symbol for Trump to wield in the awakening.
Net Effects, my homies.” —
RFK Jr. As Third Party Candidate Will Make It Harder For Democrats To 'Cheat': Kari Lake
Former GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is expecting a potential third-party candidate like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to make it harder for candidates to “cheat” in the upcoming 2024 presidential race.
Her comments came following RFK Jr.’s suggestion that he may consider “other alternatives” rather than simply pursuing a Democratic nomination.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is talking about running as a third party candidate,” Ms. Lake said on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” on Sept. 9. “That's going to make it really hard when there's three people, three parties running in any election, whether it be the senate seat in Arizona, the presidency. It makes it a lot harder for these people to cheat because they don't know what's going to be on the inside of the ballot. It might be a Democrat voting, but that Democrat might be voting independent this time around to vote for RFK Jr.”
“So, I think we're going to see some dynamics in this election that's going to make it harder for them to cheat and we're going to work through the court system to also make it harder for them to cheat.”
Mr. Kennedy had said in a Sept. 8 interview with Forbes that he may look for “alternatives” rather than solely focusing on fighting the 2024 presidential race as a Democrat. — The Epoch Times
Our Take: “Another goodie, not just because of what it's asserting, but WHO is asserting it.
Kari Lake is seen by many as a future POTUS, and for good reason; she's one of the only figures in the American political zeitgeist strongly and consistently supported by Trump.
As for the deployment, here, Lake is rubbing up against the sort of foundational logic many in this community are coming around to.
Reformation = Transformation.
The death of the two-party system could mark the rebirth of the Republic.” —
Putin Mocks 'Rotten' US System For Prosecution Of Donald Trump
It was quite obvious this moment was coming... Russian President Vladimir Putin has mercilessly mocked the US political system for the Biden admin's prosecution of Donald Trump. This is also after US conservative pundits have long decried these efforts as more befitting a "banana republic".
Putin presented the whole drawn out saga as proof of Washington corruption, which further exposes American "rottenness" - in comments given before the Eastern Economic Forum gathering in Russia’s Pacific Coast city of Vladivostok, where the Russian leader is later expected to meet with North Korea's Kim Jong Un.
"As for the prosecution of Trump, for us what is happening in today’s conditions, in my opinion, is good because it shows the rottenness of the American political system, which cannot pretend to teach others democracy," Putin told the audience.
"Everything that is happening with Trump is the persecution of a political rival for political reasons. That’s what it is. And this is being done in front of the public of the United States and the whole world," he added. Of course, many of those leaders claiming to represent the "international community" probably welcome efforts at going after Trump legally and politically. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: “There's a pretty fascinating Macro emerging where it concerns the Witch Hunt of Trump and the continued exposure of the Deep State on the international stage.
As the Enemy continues to ramp up its rhetoric against the sovereignty of the Rising East, and now ventures into NATO war drill territory, all while wielding a corrupt Justice System against the symbol of sovereignty in the west, the public mandate for problem-solvers and peacemakers grows ...
[Their] exposure presents our opportunity.
How fascinating (to the awakening mind,) that Vladimir Putin seems to be aligned with us where it concerns the plight of Donald Trump and American ‘Democracy.’” —
CIA tried to pay off analysts to bury findings that COVID lab leak was likely: whistleblower
The Central Intelligence Agency offered to pay off analysts in order to bury their findings that COVID-19 most likely leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China, new whistleblower testimony to Congress alleges.
A senior-level CIA officer told House committee leaders that his agency tried to pay off six analysts who found SARS-CoV-2 likely originated in a Wuhan lab if they changed their position and said the virus jumped from animals to humans, according to a letter sent Tuesday to CIA Director William Burns.
Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) and Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) requested all documents, communications and pay info from the CIA’s COVID Discovery Team by Sept. 26.
“According to the whistleblower, at the end of its review, six of the seven members of the Team believed the intelligence and science were sufficient to make a low confidence assessment that COVID-19 originated from a laboratory in Wuhan, China,” the House panel chairmen wrote.'“ — NY Post
Our Take: “Remember when the lab leak theory was a conspiracy and mentioning it was banned in public discourse? Now it turns out that the CIA was paying off scientists to make sure that was the narrative.
Are you shocked? Should we be shocked?
Honestly, my reaction is, ‘Yep, that sounds right.’
What’s weird is we’re allowed to hear this testimony. We never get this much information about the CIA. It’s out of the ordinary that such disclosures reach the public.
At any rate, when are we going to discuss the fact that it wasn’t a leak, but a launch? Are we ready to critically examine Event 201 in the mainstream yet?” —

IRS Launches 'Sweeping, Historic' Tax Enforcement Crackdown Using AI
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that, thanks to a new funding boost, it's launching a "sweeping, historic" tax enforcement initiative using artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technologies to catch tax evaders more effectively.
"There is a sea change taking place at the IRS in every aspect of our operations," IRS Commissioner Danny Werfel said in a Sept. 8 statement, which notes that the tax agency has completed a top-to-bottom review of its enforcement efforts and is girding to catch people "abusing the nation's tax laws," thanks in part to cutting-edge tech.
"The changes will be driven with the help of improved technology as well as Artificial Intelligence that will help IRS compliance teams better detect tax cheating, identify emerging compliance threats and improve case selection tools to avoid burdening taxpayers with needless 'no-change' audits," Mr. Werfel said. — The Epoch Times
Zelensky says Ukraine ‘waited too long’ to launch counteroffensive
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday his country “waited too long” to launch its counteroffensive against Russia, indicating that Kyiv’s Western allies kept it waiting with weapons deliveries.
When asked by CNN’s Fareed Zakaria how the long-awaited counteroffensive was going, Zelensky said the country remains focused on the end result, which is regaining their territory from Russia.
He said that Russia had time to plant mines and dig in its defenses as Kyiv waited for Western weapons.
“We — look, we waited too long. It’s true. No, I’m thankful to partners, to the United States, EU, other partners,” he said. “I’m thankful very much to President Biden and to Congress, but we have to understand: We waited too long, they put mines. Then when we been ready from the point of view of our partners because the decision to give us, for example, Bradley [Fighting Vehicles] and other kind of weapons, the decision, it doesn’t mean the result.”
Zelensky noted that Ukraine does not get the weapons promised to it immediately after they are announced by allies.
He then reiterated that winning the war is the only way Ukraine can recover its land, saying that a failure would allow Russia to attack other countries. — The Hill
"Liars" & "Low IQ Lunatics": Tucker Tears Into Politicians' "Betrayal Of American Democracy"
In a brief clip dropped last night, Tucker Carlson rages (in his inimitable manner) that the current system of governance in the US does not genuinely reflect the majority's will but benefits a small group of people with power.
"Most governments are run by a small group of people for their own benefit without reference to what the majority wants," he says.
Carlson highlights, based on public opinion polls as evidence, that there is often a disconnect between what the people want and what their leaders prioritize:
“Take a look at the latest Gallup poll, pick a poll. What are the top 10 issues for people in the United States and then compare those to the priorities of your leaders."
The former Fox News host takes aim at Governors Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan and Greg Abbott of Texas as case examples of this disconnect.
Regarding Whitmer, who he calls a "low IQ lunatic", Carlson says her priorities are not in line with the majority of her constituents, specifically regarding social issues like "misgendering":
"The things that people care about, Gretchen Whitmer couldn't care less about."
Abbott, who Carlson calls a "liar, and betrayer of your own people", is accused of not taking significant action on illegal immigration, despite having the resources to do so:
"Don't you have a National Guard? Why don't you seal the Border? Oh, it's very complicated. No, it's not."
Carlson concludes that this deviation from public will is a betrayal of American democracy.
"It's not just frustrating; it's a betrayal of the core promise of the country, which is the people rule," he proclaims; suggesting that the current situation represents a "criminal act," and, in what some have suggested sounded the most like a campaign/stump speech, urges the audience to reconsider their belief that a majority vote will automatically translate into action or law. — ZeroHedge
