Report: Fox Corp. Lost $800 Million in Market Value After Tucker Carlson Departure

The Fox Corporation reportedly lost $800 million in market value at its low point on Monday after Fox News Media announced they and Tucker Carlson “agreed to part ways,” according to a report.

CBS News’s Aimee Picchi reported:

“Shares of Fox dropped to a low of $29.27 on Monday, a decline of 5.2%, representing a loss in market value of more than $800 million, before rebounding slightly later in the day. Shares also fell slightly on Tuesday, but the stock regained ground on Wednesday, rising 28 cents, or almost 1%, to $30.”

It appears Picchi was referencing figures in Fox Corporation’s class B stock.

As of about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Yahoo Finance showed that the class B stock of the Fox Corporation, which is comprised of Fox News Media, Fox Entertainment, Fox Sports, and Fox TV Stations, was trading at $29.88 a share. This is $1.10 less than the stock’s peak Monday value of $30.98 soon after the markets opened.

Monday’s losses for Fox Corporation came days after Fox settled a hefty defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems for $787 million as the parties were about to go to trial.

Our Take: “OUCH.

Well, it seems as though financial success is no longer the primary goal over at FOX News; it's almost as if it was just another propaganda outlet all along. Fox Corp. not only lost $800 million this week—they also lost millions of Tucker Carlson fans, a significant portion of their current audience.

While we're on the topic of FOX, let's consider this ridiculous lawsuit.

Dominion sues Fox; Blackrock owns 45.7 million in Fox stock. Blackrock owns $59 million in Dominion stock. So basically, the money from the left pocket (Fox-BlackRock) was transferred to the right pocket (Dominion-BlackRock) to create the illusion that the injured party (Dominion) was now made whole, and to "prove" the 2020 election was fair.

Despite the Kabuki Theater, half the country knows what really happened. We've heard that the Murdochs are looking to sell; the only questions that remain are: why do they want to sell, and who will be the buyer?” — Ryan DeLarme

Montana Legislature Votes To Remove Trans Lawmaker From House Floor For Rest Of 2023

After a series of activist disruptions and bizarre rants, trans lawmaker Zooey Zephyr, who was initially censured, is now banned from the floor of the Montana State Legislature for the rest of 2023.  Zephyr (a biological male identifying as a trans bisexual woman), is a representative from District 100 of Montana centered in Missoula.  Being one of the few districts in the state with a dominant college culture and a majority Democrat population, the trans label helped Zephyr win easily in 2022.

The representative "came out" as trans only a couple years priors to his election, with little identifiable background other than some notoriety as a video game competitor. 

Montana is now considering a number of bills designed to protect children from trans indoctrination in schools, sexualized drag shows as well as banning sex-change surgeries and hormone therapies for kids.  It is one of many states acting to contain the political indoctrination of children by trans activists and the far-left.  Zephyr insinuated that should they pass bills such as SB 99 into law blood might spill.  He states “I hope the next time there is an invocation when you bow your heads in prayer, you see the blood on your hands.” — ZeroHedge

Our Take: “There's an elephant in the living room. It identifies as a person. But it isn't a person. And it's time we stopped pretending. 

There are many reasons to be concerned about the trans agenda. The fact that it seeks to recruit the children of others, who, at best, will be sterile and have life long mental and emotional problems, while contributing almost nothing to a society is just one of the reasons to be concerned. If that wasn't enough, there's actually a much worse problem—the anti-truth factor of the trans ideology. 

Truth is real. Truth is important. And truth is the only way for individuals and a society to stay healthy and avoid disaster. When a society embraces truth, spreading it far and wide, freedom reigns and prosperity spills over class divides. When a society rejects truth, censoring it and quashing correct ideas in favor of false ones, tyranny reigns and scarcity consumes everything. 

Spiritually mature people often value compassion and tolerance, both of which help confused people heal. But once a person has so totally and completely abandoned all sanity and benevolence, once someone has embraced lies and malevolence enough, they become iniquitous. The darkness within consumes them, so much so, no amount of compassion or tolerance can restore their sanity. Such a person has to be removed from whatever spaces they spew their toxicity, while defensive techniques are taught to those who are the most vulnerable. 

Unfortunately, many trans people, especially trans activists, have gone insane due to their fundamental rejection of the truth of their bodies. Truth, once rejected, no matter how seemingly insignificant, breaks people down. Denied truth destroys whatever goodness was present within the soul. Their morals and principles also break down; they think they need to embrace to manage their own toxicity. Eventually, all that's left is a reality-detached toxic person who cannot differentiate between good and bad ideas or true and false propositions. 

The expelling of Zooey Zephyr from the state legislature is the correct action. If we do not call out falsehoods and malevolence honestly, then less critical thinkers and innocents will be swept up in the lies. This is precisely how we got here. We should never have stayed quiet about the big lie that is the trans ideology. And our cowardice has cost our children and other people dearly.

It might not be PC; it might make the confused masses hate us. But we're saying what the majority thinks anyway. With a little courage, we can do our part to fight the lies and make our world safer for our children. If we do nothing, how many more young boys and girls will be enticed into the cult of butchery and sadness known as the trans movement?” — Justin Deschamps

Whistleblower tells Congress that govt is delivering migrant children to human traffickers

A whistleblower who viewed first-hand what she testified is a "sophisticated network" of child migrant smuggling into forced labor and other forms of slavery is calling on Congress to act to crack down on the U.S. role in that network.

The hearing, "The Biden Border Crisis: Exploitation of Unaccompanied Alien Children," was held by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security and Enforcement and included Health and Human Services (HHS) whistleblower Tara Lee Rodas as a witness.

Rodas, who was detailed with HHS at an Emergency Intake Site in Pomona, California, on Wednesday told lawmakers about what she experienced on the ground. 

"I thought I was going to help place children in loving homes. Instead, I discovered that children are being trafficked through a sophisticated network that begins with recruiting in their home country, smuggled to the U.S. border, and ends when [Office of Refugee Resettlement] delivers a child to a sponsor — some sponsors are criminals and traffickers and members of Transnational Criminal Organizations. Some sponsors view children as commodities and assets to be used for earning income — this is why we are witnessing an explosion of labor trafficking," Rodas said. — FOX News

Our Take: “Main Takeaway from HHS Hearing:

Congress: Trafficking of Children totally exists, but we also can't verify it and also why are we talking about this and also it's a good thing, anyways, moving on.

It may be reductive, but simply beginning our political analysis with who thinks rounding up pedo's is good vs. bad is a solid start in terms of a political platform.

Might run for AG on that.

WE WERE RIGHT: Latest Twitter File Uncovers Lies that Russian Accounts Impacted 2016 Election

The latest Twitter file (#21)  provides more evidence that the narrative that Russian accounts were materially impacting US elections was a lie.   This is exactly what TGP said years ago. 

Before the 2016 Election, the Hillary and Obama gang was scared that President Trump might win and then look into their crimes so they created the lie that candidate Trump was tied to Russians.

The fact was that the Obama Administration, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, had allowed the sale of a significant amount of US uranium to the Russians for millions.  In return the Clintons received millions and we don’t know how much the rest of the Obama Administration received.  This action is referred to as Uranium One.

The Obama Administration participated in a crime spree.  It set up the Trump Administration, gave billions to Iran, opened the border, created sanctuary cities, backed corrupt Soros activities, and now we know participated in human trafficking of minors. — The Gateway Pundit

Our Take: “If I had a nickel for every time I was called a ‘Russian bot’ or a ‘Russian troll’ on social media, I'd have at least a few dollars. I suspect I am not the only one. It would get so bad that I'd actually start to believe it, and I would often find myself reading Dostoyevsky and guzzling vodka. But in the end, it was all just another obvious lie coming from the Deep State cell propping up Obama and Biden.

The Obama administration, with the help of its original backer, George Soros, participated in a crime spree, and though I won't discount the reality that there are indeed Russian accounts out there, the true bot army came out in droves to both shield Obama and Biden and to attack Donald Trump and all of his followers. Then they began to label all dissenters as Russian. It got so bad that Twitter actually labeled Jill Stein as Russian.

In the end, Twitter didn't just censor at the direction of the government; it also allowed the government to access user account data and manipulate propaganda on their platform. Twitter essentially became a state actor at that point, not a ‘private’ corporation.

Ex-US Army Psyops Expert: Fox News Fired Carlson To Maintain "Semi Lobotomized Quasi Retarded Population"

A former US Army psychological warfare officer says that Tucker Carlson was fired by Fox News because of the regime’s agenda to maintain an “uninformed semi lobotomized quasi retarded population.”

The remarks were made by US counter-terror expert Scott Bennett.

Carlson and Fox News “parted ways” on Monday with speculation still raging as to the specific reason why the network canned its highest rated and most popular host.

According to Bennett, Carlson posed too much of a threat to institutional power because he turned Americans into proper “researchers and thinkers”.

Carlson offered an “intellectualism, truthfulness, and an analytical depth that no other news personality has ever done in the history of the United States as far back as I can remember,” said Bennett.

Tucker needed to be “silenced” because he represented too big a threat to the “powers and principalities, institutions and agendas that seek an unenlightened uninformed semi lobotomized quasi retarded population that do not question, do not research, do not analyze but simply digest and follow instructions,” according to Bennett. — Summit News

Our Take: “We talk about PsyOps all the time at Badlands Media and in the alternative or Anon media, but the concept is becoming commonplace in the general media cycle.

While I have given Tucker Carlson plenty of side eye over the course of the last few years due to his affiliation with FOX—just another in a long line of Media Industrial Complex dissemination arms—his rants have grown increasingly poignant, current and anti-establishment as the months have worn on, and the fact that he was doing so without a Trump presidency being actualized adds a bit more credence to the idea that he’s ultimately pushing the cultural Overton Window back in the direction of truth and justice.

I can’t pretend to know all the coming fallout of the Tucker firing, the FOX Dominion lawsuit, CNN’s continued ratings spiral and all the other maladies afflicting the Media Industrial Complex … but I know that we’re feeling a lot more comfy than they are right about now.” — Burning Bright
