Now, onto the news from Thursday, February 23 …
Special counsel asks judge to compel Mike Pence to testify in Jan. 6 probe
Federal prosecutors have asked the chief judge in Washington, D.C.'s federal court to compel former Vice President Mike Pence to comply with a grand jury subpoena and testify as a witness in special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into the events surrounding the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol, three people familiar with the investigation told CBS News.
The motion to compel Pence's testimony — filed in secret to Chief Judge Beryl Howell in recent days — came after lawyers for former President Donald Trump asserted executive privilege in response to Pence's subpoena, the people said.
That assertion of executive privilege on Pence's subpoena, the people added, is in line with how Trump's team has responded to related subpoenas over the past year, with Trump's attorneys often arguing that private conversations or interactions with a president should remain confidential.
"On the day of Jan. 6, I was acting as president of the Senate, presiding over a joint session described in the Constitution itself. So, I believe that that Speech and Debate clause of the Constitution actually prohibits the executive branch from compelling me to appear in a court, as the Constitution says, or in any other place," Pence — who is considering whether he will run for president in 2024 — told reporters in Iowa last week. "We'll stand on that principle and we'll take that case as far as it needs to go, if it needs be to the Supreme Court of the United States," he added.— CBS News
Our Take: “The next phase of the law-fare side of things has arrived and Pence will be helping to cut out his section of the Template. There are interesting legal issues in question here, ones which may require the Supreme Court to weigh in.” — Just Human
New Law Would Require Totally New Elections if Dems Try Their 2020 Tricks Again
A new bill aimed at combating voter fraud in Arizona is making its way through the legislative system and could mark a turning point in the state’s contentious elections.
Senate Bill 1695, sponsored by Republican state Sen. Jake Hoffman, was approved by the Senate Government Committee on Feb. 16.
Under the proposal, an election would not be certified if voters were disenfranchised because election laws were violated.
The bill, which applies to Arizona counties with more than 1 million residents, calls for a redo of any election where such violations occurred. — The Western Journal
Our Take: “One would think this is a given. But the fact it isn't a standard policy itself betrays a much bigger problem: the American people have lost touch with what a valid election looks like and our power to hold the government accountable.
Elections are a critical and sacred way for citizens to engage with their government. Truth be told, elected officials and other government employees and contractors should also work diligently to do the will of the people, even if it's inconvenient or goes against established precedent.
In this case, an election was held that lacked the confidence of the people, not due to their frivolous and irrational judgement by the people, but because there is indisputable evidence and admissions of error, malfeasance, and breach of trust on the part of the entire election apparatus.
This bill would at least re-vivify what should be happening anyway—which is that anytime the confidence in an election is called into question, by any citizen, that should be addressed fully, completely, and seriously, as best as officialdom is able to do.
If our concerns as citizens are summarily dismissed without investigation, then this itself is evidence of contempt on the part of government, a breach of trust that is a violation of the very core of what a government by and of the people should be.
This is a step in the right direction. But we have much work left to do.” — Justin Deschamps
China successfully tests 'phantom space strike' weapon which can overwhelm an enemy’s missile defence systems ahead of a nuclear attack
China has successfully tested a 'phantom space strike' – a new tactic to overwhelm and sabotage missile defences by emitting fake target signals from space.
Military engineers announced earlier this month they had completed a computer simulation and achieved positive results.
The tactic is designed to overwhelm the enemy on the basis that there is only so much a missile defence system would be able to cope with.
This can lead to exhaustion of the enemy's weapon supplies, making it easier to destroy it. — The Daily Mail
Our Take: “This is one of many reasons President Trump sought to bring Space Force into play so quickly. He knew well ahead of time what other countries were capable of, or were building towards in regards to warfare from space.
Bringing Space Force into the fold provides America with a viable defense against such weaponry from countries that may wish to do us harm.
He is always 5 steps ahead.” — AbsoluteTruth1776
Harvey Weinstein Sentenced to 16 Years After Rape Conviction, Putting Former Movie Mogul Behind Bars for Life
Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 16 years, effectively ensuring the former Hollywood mogul and convicted rapist will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Weinstein’s sentencing was held in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday morning, nearly two months after his Los Angeles trial concluded with a jury convicting him on three counts of rape and sexual assault.
Weinstein is already serving a 23-year sentence in New York, after being convicted of rape and sexual assault in that jurisdiction in his 2020 criminal trial. On Thursday, the judge ordered Weinstein to serve his L.A. sentence consecutively after New York.
Before he was sentenced, Weinstein addressed the court, making one final plea to Judge Lisa B. Lench. “I maintain that I’m innocent,” Weinstein said. — Variety

R. Kelly gets 20-year sentence for federal child pornography and enticement charges, most to be served concurrently
A federal judge on Thursday handed singer R. Kelly a 20-year prison sentence for his convictions of child pornography and the enticement of minors for sex but said he will serve nearly all of the sentence simultaneously with a 30-year sentence imposed last year on racketeering charges.
U.S. District Judge Harry Leinenweber also ordered that Kelly serve one year in prison following his New York sentence.
The central question going into the sentencing in Kelly's hometown of Chicago was whether Leinenweber would order that the 56-year-old serve the sentence simultaneously with or only after he completes the New York term for 2021 racketeering and sex trafficking convictions. The latter would have been tantamount to a life sentence. — CBS News
Our Take: “I believe R. Kelly can fly … right into prison for the next 50 years of his life.
Coupled with the Weinstein news, yesterday was a bad day to be a celebrity pedophile, and we can only assume that with the forthcoming release of the Epstein Client List and the ever growing public awareness to these crimes, that there will be quite a few more well known names who will share a similar fate to Weinstein and R. Kelly.” — AbsoluteTruth1776
New York Fashion Week Just Promoted a Major Sexual Exploiter – Take Action!
A few months ago, the popular fashion brand Balenciaga faced justified backlash over ad campaigns that normalized child sexual abuse. These ads included pictures of children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage harnesses, as well as strategically placed court documents referencing child sexual abuse material (the more apt term for “child pornography”).
The public hurried to condemn Balenciaga for these horrific ad campaigns, eventually sparking an apology from the creative director.
Unfortunately, only a few months after the Balenciaga scandal, mainstream fashion is once again opening its arms to welcome sexual abuse and exploitation.
Last week was New York Fashion Week (NYFW), a major bi-annual fashion event in which designers from around the world can showcase their new collections. Fashion designer Luis De Javier made his NYFW debut with a collaboration with Pornhub.
While De Javier’s collaboration with Pornhub has been called “a runway show that sexually liberated in style,” the truth is that it normalized and glamorized a company that has been complicit in mass sexual crime. — National Center on Sexual Exploitation
Our Take: “Move over Balenciaga.
At last week's New York Fashion Week, designer Luis de Javier showed his new collection in collaboration with Pornhub, the online platform that knowingly facilitates and profits from child sex trafficking.
The Satanists are doubling down and becoming more and more overt about who, and what, they really are.
They are outing themselves nearly everyday, and at this point, it is a matter of when, and not if, the public begins pushing back.” — AbsoluteTruth1776

The more satan shows his moves, the closer we are to the end of the war..
It certainly is evident Satan is ramping up his attacks as his puppets are trying to get ahead of the ramifications for their participation in evil against children. Looks like the road to the scare event is on the downhill course.
God bless you guys for this much anticipated service!
