Harris campaign lists policies on eve of debate after criticism of vagueness
Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign has posted a list of her policy positions on its website, less than 48 hours before her debate against Donald Trump on Tuesday, after critics have called her vague and thin on proposed policies since the Democratic nominee launched her run for the White House in July.
The Harris campaign’s move came as she and the Republican former president enter the final weeks of the 5 November election – and as new polling published on Sunday showed the candidates are locked in a tight race. The vice-president had initially gained significant momentum over Trump after she replaced Joe Biden at the top of her party’s presidential ticket.
A national poll conducted by the New York Times and Siena College released on Sunday found that Trump was up one percentage point over Harris, noting that many voters wanted to know more about the vice-president’s policies.
Another poll, conducted by CBS/YouGov, indicated a close race in key swing states, with Harris narrowly leading in Michigan and Wisconsin – but tied in Pennsylvania.
By Sunday evening, the Harris campaign had posted a list of policy positions on her website, organized into four main sections focused on the economy, “fundamental freedoms”, safety and crime, and national security. — The Guardian
Our Take: The media industrial complex is currently at the stage where they're BREAKING news about the person they say is LEADING national polling ahead of the most contentious election cycle (since the last one) actually having to put out policy proposals ahead of a nationally-televised debate.
The framing here is inverted; it's meant to suggest that only Orange Man Bad and his vocal, based and logical supporters expect the supposed opposition to actually have a platform she's ostensibly meant to defend/argue in front of the American people.
The truth that this community has known for some time, and that is becoming clear to an increasing plurality of the American electorate is that Harris is merely the latest in a long line of proxy candidates who have no platform other than that which the machine funnels through them.
The thing is, in earlier chapters of the Info War, they could flaunt this platform flagrantly. Now, they're silent-running. That's retreat.

Saudi Crown Prince meets with Russian foreign minister to strengthen ties
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The two leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations, identifying areas for cooperation, and exploring ways to enhance collaboration across various fields.
Their talks also covered recent regional and international developments, with both sides emphasizing efforts to bolster security and stability, SPA reported. Several issues of mutual interest were addressed during the meeting.
Lavrov's visit to Riyadh included his participation in the seventh GCC-Russia Joint Ministerial Meeting of Strategic Dialogue earlier in the day. At a press conference, Lavrov announced that Russia has invited Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to attend the BRICS summit in Kazan, scheduled for Oct. 22-24.
The BRICS bloc, which last year invited Saudi Arabia, Iran, Ethiopia, Egypt, Argentina, and the United Arab Emirates to join, aims to reshape the global order, which it views as outdated. — Badlands News
Our Take: Something big is brewing in the Middle East.
Yesterday, the Gulf Cooperation Council, which is comprised of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirate, held their annual regional meeting in Riyadh.
Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan (FBF), decided to schedule stacked "Joint Ministerial Meeting(s) of Strategic Dialogue" with both Russia and India, which were essentially held in immediate sequence.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov—who is widely hailed as the world's preeminent chief diplomat—was in attendance, as well as India's External Affairs Minister. Foreign ministers visit Riyadh all the time, and they don't always meet directly with FBF, and are relegated to deputy minister. But it is somewhat rare for them to me with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who typically only meets with heads of state. That just goes to show the level of respect that Lavrov commands.
This picture is pretty badass, if you understand the players in the room.
On the right, seated next to FBF, is Kuwaiti Crown Prince Mishal Al-Sabah, of the Sheikhdom of Kuwait. The Bani Utbah tribe settled in Kuwait in the 1700's—when it was nothing more than a small fishing village. Among the tribe were the Al-Sabah and Al-Kalifa families, who became the rulers of Kuwait and the island nation of Bahrain, respectively.
It was the Bani Utbah who brought horses to the Middle East from the Steppe region of Russia, and now Arabian stallions are considered some of the finest racing horses in the world. Under the Al-Sabahs, Kuwait became a refuge for those seeking shelter, including Iraqi merchants during the exact time period of the American Revolution—who established a ship-building industry in Kuwait, turning it into a small maritime power—as well the House of Saud, who sought refuge in 1890 after the Al Rashid clan burned down their village and slaughtered nearly every member of their family. (During this time, the Sheikhdom became a British protectorate, introducing them to the teenage Abdulaziz bin Saud—a moment that would forever reshape world history...)
Kuwait has also always been a safe haven for all three of the religions of Abraham.
It's also worth reminding everybody that we just had a pretty big meeting between India's leader, Modi, and Ukrainian President Zelensky. The fact that India and Russia are now convening in Riyadh is not insignificant, and absolutely connected to Modi's meeting with Zelensky.
During yesterday's meeting, Turkey's President Erdogan publicly called for an emergency meeting of all Islamic world leaders. Faisal bin Farhan then departed the Riyadh meeting, headed directly for the airport, and flew to Egypt.
It's important to note that Egypt became the first Arab nation to sign a peace deal with Israel in 1979, after three decades of direct warfare between the two nations. That peace agreement was suspended back in May, when the IDF moved to occupy the Philadelphi Corridor—the narrow strip of land between Egypt and Israel, which has always been controlled by Egypt. Bibi Netanyahu said this past week that Israel has no intention of relinquishing the corridor back to Egypt, further exacerbating tensions.
It's also worth noting that just last week Turkey and Egypt held a diplomatic meeting for the first time in 12 years—since the Arab Spring, where Turkey was accused of supporting the Muslim Brotherhood's temporary overthrow of the Egyptian government.
As I've said before, the Middle East has been healing. A very strong alliance is forming among the entire Islamic world, and the efforts of the Deep State to turn Sunni against Shia will not materialize.
Fox News will tell you that this is a deeply concerning development, and a sign of a likely resurgence of "muh Crusades." Hog wash. As a Christian, it pleases me to see peace break out among the brotherhood of Islam—not to be confused with the Muslim Brotherhood, which is a creation of British Intelligence.
The Christian nation of Russia and the Hindu nation of India are in a deep alliance with the Muslims of both Arabia and Persia. What an epic sight to behold.
PS - I just learned that the western media has given Sergei Lavrov a nickname: "Mr. Nyet" ("Mr. No"), which is what they used to call Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko, who was in office in the 1970's when Lavrov earned his first posting for the ministry—in Sri Lanka, where he learned to speak an Indian language called Sinhalese. (See how all this stuff is all connected?)
So from now on, I will be referring to Lavrov by his Trumpamania nickname: Mister Nyet.
Oh, and FBF's wrestler nickname is definitely "The Peacemaker." —
"Can't Take It Anymore": Residents Of Springfield Ohio Beg For Help After 20,000 Haitians Overwhelm City, Eat Local Wildlife
The city of Springfield, Ohio - population 60,000, has been overwhelmed by roughly 20,000 Haitian illegal migrants, who flocked to the city - exacerbating a 'significant housing crisis' according to city officials, and eating pets and wildlife according to locals.
During an Aug. 27 City Commission meeting, one local resident said that Haitians were "in the park grabbing ducks, cutting the heads off, and eating them."
Another local resident posted to a Facebook group that their neighbor had a cat go missing - only to see it "hanging from a branch, like you'd do a deer for butchering, & they [the Haitians] were carving it up to eat."
While the cat claim has been refuted by as racist fear-mongering, others have provided receipts showing that cats are indeed part of Haitian cuisine.
Another local told the city that she "can't take it anymore," as Haitian migrants are littering on her yard and harassing she and her husband. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: How empathetic and tolerant are Americans? That’s the question, and folks in Springfield, OH are faced with the extreme question of whether they’re empathetic and tolerant enough to accommodate Haitians eating their pets.
Seagulls are a nuisance — so good riddance — but this sentiment for me ends at seagulls. And probably prairie dogs — also a nuisance, but I don’t believe a situation for residents of Ohio. If you’re unfamiliar, prairie dogs are a large rodent in the squirrel family that destroy the landscape and cause horses to break their ankles.
To be fair, we’re all eating things we didn’t eat before as Kamalanomics turns our once usual grocery haul into a luxury wish list, but if migrants in Colorado start eating neighborhood pets, I imagine the tolerance level would plummet. At least, I hope.
We’re very ‘live and let live’ here, but ‘let live’ does not equate to eating my dog. People have pet insurance, doggie day care, and monogrammed clothing for Fido here.
The migrant madness is reaching a crescendo. Let’s see if this newcomer behavior is explained away as a cultural difference… you know, like all the theft, rape, and murder.
Weaponized empathy and tolerance of the intolerable was always going to end this way.
Keep your pets close, comrades. —
US thinktank leader arrested on charges of acting as unregistered agent of China
The leader of a US thinktank who was indicted last year on charges of acting as an unregistered agent of China has been arrested and will be extradited in the coming weeks or months, prosecutors said on Monday.
In July 2023, federal prosecutors in Manhattan accused Gal Luft of paying a former high-ranking US government official on behalf of principals based in China in 2016, as well as seeking to broker the sale of weapons and Iranian oil.
Luft, a dual US-Israeli citizen, was arrested in Cyprus last February but fled while released on bail, prosecutors said in a court filing. He has since been re-arrested, prosecutors said, without specifying when or where.
Luft, the co-director of the Washington-based Institute for the Analysis of Global Security, said in posts on X last year that he had never been an arms dealer and that the charges were “politically motivated”.
The Institute for the Analysis of Global Security describes itself as a thinktank focused on energy, security and economic trends. The group last year said it was convinced of Luft’s innocence. — The Guardian
Our Take: Wait a minute.
So the Feds just arrested an American-Israeli with dual citizenship for being an unregistered foreign for... China??
Huh?
And they arrested him in Cyprus? An island-nation known for being a hotbed of transnational organized crime, particularly for the Ukrainian-Israeli Mafia? (Hello, Igor Kolomoisky. War Hamster says hi.)
Did yall know that in February 2014, after the CIA overthrew the government of Ukraine in the Maiden Coup, they installed a high-ranking member of the Israeli Mafia to serve as interim president until they could get their puppet, Poroshenko, elected through a totally real and not fake election?
The guy's name was Oleksandr Turchynov, and he is accused of being a henchman for Israeli Mafia crime lord Semion Mogilevich, who is described by the FBI as the "boss of all bosses," and his nickname is "The Brainy Don." (Definitely using that as his Trumpamania name, by the way.)
While working for Ukrainian intelligence, Turchynov was subpoenaed to appear in Ukrainian court in 2010, accused of destroying files pertaining to Mogilevich.
It's also worth noting that William Sessions—the FBI Director during the elder Bush administration—served as Mogilevich's personal attorney, serving in that role up until Sessions' death in June 2020, as documented by Craig Unger in his book about Donald Trump and the Russian Mafia.
So, just to be clear: in 2014, the CIA overthrew the Ukrainian government and installed a member of the Israeli Mafia as interim president. And the crime boss of the Israeli Mafia had the Bush Family's FBI Director on retainer as his personal attorney.

Former California State Sen. Gloria Romero Leaves the Democrat Party: Not the Party ‘I Once Championed’
Former California State Sen. Gloria Romero announced that she is ditching the Democrat Party, noting that it is “not the Democratic Party” she had “once championed.”
Romero, who previously served as the Senate Majority Leader in California, announced on Wednesday that she was “joining the growing number” of people who were leaving the Democrat Party and that she had changed her voter registration to the Republican Party.
“I am now another near-life-long Democrat who is joining the growing number of people, including key groups like Latinos, who are leaving the Democratic Party,” Romero said. “This is not the Democratic Party that I once championed. I do not recognize it anymore, and I cannot continue. I changed my voting registration today as the sun was rising, to Republican, which has, under Donald Trump, become the champion of working people.”
The following day, during an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Romero blasted Vice President Kamala Harris’s record on education while she had served as the attorney general for California, and stated that Harris had done “nothing to change the schools.”
Romero noted that Harris had once tried to pass a bill “to jail mothers” of truant students. — Breitbart
Our Take: It’s now undeniable that the Democrat Party is actually a communist front. The Republican Party is as well, it’s just not as undeniable for most... yet.
Reminder: There’s actually only one party.
Despite the unified chorus of jabber jays telling the People that Donald Trump is a massive ‘threat to democracy,’ those uncommitted to the new world order are walking away from central planning at quite a clip.
While many defect quietly, some, like Gloria Romero, are making sure everyone knows, shouting their Dem departure like they were once encouraged to shout their… well, never mind.
Romero is correct that her former party is no longer the champion of working people. Such is always the case with communism. The workers of the world unite until they’re no longer useful, usually once oligarchy is undeniably visible, and then they either fall in line or get genocided.
Again, there is only one party.
It belongs to Harris and Jeffries and Cheney and Kinzinger. It’s the party of novel authoritarianism enabled by technology and fueled by weaponized empathy. It’s just communism.
There is an alternative, a spark that is becoming a brushfire. Romero gets it. Make America Great Again. —

Second historic Google antitrust trial kicks off
A landmark Justice Department case charging Google with violating antitrust laws in its ad-tech business is set to begin trial in a federal court in Virginia Monday.
Why it matters: Google already lost one major antitrust case this year when a federal judge ruled the tech giant illegally abused its search monopoly. A second loss could lead to sweeping changes in the firm's core business as it fights for leadership in the AI era.
Catch up quick: The Justice Department sued Google early last year, alleging the company engaged "in a systematic campaign to seize control of the wide swath of high-tech tools used by publishers, advertisers, and brokers, to facilitate digital advertising."
Google then used its dominance to bar competitors from the market, according to the suit.
The other side: Google contests the charges, arguing that DOJ is "doubling down on a flawed argument that would slow innovation, raise advertising fees, and make it harder for thousands of small businesses and publishers to grow." — Axios
Are You Ready to Bet on U.S. Elections? A Judge’s Ruling Opens the Door
Get ready for legalized betting as soon as next week on whether Democrats will take back control of the U.S. House of Representatives in November.
A federal judge on Friday cleared the way for Americans to place bets on the outcome of congressional elections via a prediction-market startup, a victory that could potentially open the door to legalized wagers on U.S. elections.
Still, it remained uncertain over the weekend whether the political betting markets would go live, after regulators filed an emergency motion seeking a two-week delay while they considered an appeal.
In a one-page order, U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb of the District of Columbia sided with the startup, Kalshi, and threw out a 2023 decision by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission that had blocked Kalshi from listing its congressional-control contracts.
Kalshi will make its congressional-control contracts available to users for trading next week and will move quickly to list other kinds of political-event contracts, said Luana Lopes Lara, one of the co-founders of Kalshi, in an interview. — The Wall Street Journal
German Politician Threatens X, Telegram With Bans
Two weeks ago, we suggested that the stunning arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov in France was a trial balloon for how Europe will go after Elon Musk...
... and sure enough, the wheels are now in motion: according to a senior member of parliament from the country’s Green Party - a mutant combination of socialists, frothing environmentalists and rabid progressives - just said that Germany must act to stop the dissemination of "extremist content" online and block major social media platforms if necessary.
MP Anton Hofreiter, the chairman of the Bundestag’s European policy committee, called for tighter control over social media, up to the outright blocking of certain platforms. He made the remarks on Saturday while speaking to reporters from Funke Media Group. The politician
“One of the biggest problems of extremism is online radicalization,” Hofreiter stated, adding that the dissemination of “anti-constitutional content on the Internet” must be stopped.
Of course, "online radicalization" is one of those intentionally vague terms which dictators and authoritarians leave purposefully ambiguous so they can have a green light to censor and throw in jail anyone they want, and sure enough...
“We need to tackle the root of the problem and push back radicalization in digital space as well as in society,” he stressed. — ZeroHedge
