Harris on Bypassing Primary Process: I Was ‘Elected’, Biden ‘Put Country Before Self’
During an interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes” released on Monday, 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris responded to a question on whether President Joe Biden stepping down and endorsing her and her not having to go through a primary is the best thing for democracy by stating that Biden “put country before self. And I am proud to have earned the support of the vast majority of delegates and to have been elected the Democratic nominee.”
“60 Minutes” Correspondent Bill Whitaker asked, “Was democracy best served by President Biden stepping down and basically handing you a nomination? You didn’t have to go through a primary process, you didn’t have to fight off other contenders, that’s not really the way our system was intended to work.”
Harris responded, “President Biden made a decision that I think history is going to show is rare among leaders, which was to put country before self. And I am proud to have earned the support of the vast majority of delegates and to have been elected the Democratic nominee. I am proud to have received the endorsement of leaders around this country from every background and walk of life, to fight, in this election, over the next month, for our democracy.”
Whitaker then said, “But I think this truncated process is why people think or say they don’t really know who you are.”
Harris responded, “Look, I’ve been in this race for 70 days. It is, without any question, a short period of time, which is why I’m traveling around our country, from one state to the next, to the next. It is my responsibility to earn the vote, and I’m going to work to do that.” — Breitbart
Our Take: Kamala’s 60 Minutes interview will be quickly memory-holed because it was a disaster. Word salads and unintentional admissions serve as a bright spotlight on the woman who wants to be the most powerful person in the world.
The most stunning attempt to reclaim the narrative for Democrats is the assertion that Kamala was ‘elected’ as the nominee. This was the third Democrat primary that was rigged by party oligarchs, and Kamala gaslighting voters about it will backfire. Bernie bros remember, which is why so many of them are openly supporting Trump. The walk away Democrats — which began in 2020 — is real, and it’s accelerating.
As I said on the Brief yesterday, Democrats are actually campaigning to convince their base that they are still viable. They’ve lost support among black voters, Latino voters, trans exclusionary feminist voters, union voters, and more. That’s their base. Kamala’s campaign isn’t for the middle — it’s for their formerly due hard supporters. And her efforts are failing.
As many push for Kamala to do more interviews and be more visible to voters in this home stretch, you have to wonder who is driving this strategy. Every time she speaks, she loses support. And according to recent announcements, she’s going to be speaking a lot more.

DeSantis, Dark Brandon, And CNN Hit Kamala With Laser Eyes Over Hurricane 'Phone Call' Stunt
After completely biffing her 60 Minutes interview (after which the network edited out her word salad), Vice President Kamala Harris has come under fire for accusing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis of "political gamesmanship" after reports emerged that he didn't take her calls ahead of Hurricane Milton.
When asked about the alleged snub, Harris said DeSantis was being selfish and "utterly responsible" for not taking her call.
In a Monday evening interview with Fox News, DeSantis said he's "leveraging all resources available, including from the federal government" to prepare for the storm that's headed straight for Tampa. DeSantis said he's been in touch with both President Joe Biden and officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
"And so for Kamala Harris to try to say that my sole focus on the people of Florida is somehow selfish, is delusional," said DeSantis.
[…]
You know it's bad when CNN and President Biden back DeSantis...
"She's attacking the governor of a state that's about to get lashed with one of the worst storms," said CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings, adding "Is she crazy?"
And on Tuesday, Biden said DeSantis is doing a great job, and that he gave the governor his personal phone number in case he needs anything. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: Hillary has made her presence felt in the opening act of October.
Obama is reportedly going to hit the campaign trail in the days ahead.
And the politicos of the DC Swamp are sending warning flares to the Harris regime that their current narrative strategy is falling on deaf ears while Trump "is everywhere."
All the while, #OurBoyBlue continues to do his best work in the shadows, despite still occupying the highest fake office in the land as fake president.
To wit, in recent days, he's repealed Green New Deal proposals in order to boost domestic energy and chips production (both policies proposed by Donald Trump,) condemned the situation in the Middle East while admitting his regime has no actual control over it ... and now, added to the dogpiling on Harris by throwing in with RON! DeeeeSantis in the midst of the Hurricane Milton chaos.
To the trained Info War eye, it's beginning to look like the carrion crows are circling.
They're hedging ahead of the true October surprises. —
Trump has had "as many as seven" phone calls with Putin since leaving office, book claims
Former President Trump has stayed in touch with Russian President Vladimir Putin since leaving the White House, according to journalist Bob Woodward's forthcoming book "War."
Why it matters: The book sheds new light on the personal relationship between Trump and Putin, the leader of a U.S. adversary, less than a month before the presidential election.
The book also reveals that Trump secretly sent Putin scarcely available COVID-19 testing equipment for his personal use during the early days of the pandemic.
CNN reported that that Trump sent Putin "a bunch of Abbott Point of Care Covid test machines" while the New York Times reported he sent Putin "rare" COVID-19 tests.
"Please don't tell anybody you sent these to me," Putin told to Trump, according to the book, apparently concerned Trump could be politically damaged.
Both outlets reported details Tuesday after obtaining a copies of the book, set for publication next week.
Zoom in: The former president and Putin have "maybe as many as seven" conversations since Trump left office in 2021, Woodward wrote citing an unidentified Trump aide. — Axios
Our Take: This is a hell of a narrative deployment …
I can't believe that TDS-ridden retard, Bob Woodward, would write something like this about Trump. I already love the guy, you don't need to further sell me on him.
I love the visual Bob paints, here. Trump and Putin just casually call each other up and say, "Sup, bro. Let me hook you up with some ultra rare COVID tests. Do whatever you want."
"Thanks, homie. Please don't tell any of those jackals about us, we can't afford to lose you from the squad."
But it gets better:
Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung told Axios the book's claims were "made up stories." He added Trump gave Woodward "absolutely no access for this trash book."
"Woodward is a total sleazebag who has lost it mentally, and he's slow, lethargic, incompetent and overall a boring person with no personality," Cheung added.
I'm dying laughing. That statement was obviously written by The Donald. In fact, I bet Trump came up with the details of the whole campaign to leak this "damning insight" into Trump's fraternal bond with Putin, aka the Sovereign Alliance. (Yeah Bob, learn about it.)
Loved this little nugget:
It covers Sen. Lindsey Graham's (R-S.C.) efforts to get Trump to move on from his 2020 election loss.
Haha. That feels very Ghosts in the Machine—a shot across the bow at Lady Lindsey. (Respect, guys. Our deep feelings for Lady Lindsey are well established around these parts.)
This was my favorite part:
"He's a f----ing liar," Woodward quotes Biden as saying of Netanyahu after Israel's incursion into Rafah, per CNN.
Grumpy Biden has been one of the better Bidens of the past 5 years, though I will miss most of them. The thought of Grumpy Biden staring off into space, muttering to himself about Bibi lying to him, is laugh out loud funny. Because I think he is telling the truth. Those other two clowns—Blinken and Sullivan— surely are "in" on everything, but I bet Biden gets treated like an ornery dementia patient by everybody around him.
PS - Don't believe the kayfabe between Dems and Bibi. The person who crafted the first target list for The Patriot Act apparatus was Chuck Schumer, and the first group they took down was a Palestinian political faction on Netanyahu's hit list. I know nothing about the group itself, but the point is that Schumer and the Dems worked with Bush on the Patriot Act, and prioritized going after Israel's perceived enemies with the US military/intelligence national security apparatus. —
Former President Trump to visit Aurora on Friday, campaign confirms
Former President Donald Trump will visit Aurora on Friday, his campaign confirmed on Monday.
In its announcement, the Trump campaign called Aurora a "war zone," claiming the city has seen an "influx of violent Venezuelan prison gang members from Tren de Aragua."
Trump will deliver remarks during a rally at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center on Friday at 1 p.m. Doors open at 10 a.m., and people can register to attend through this link.
Gov. Jared Polis issued a statement following the announcement, saying Trump will find "an incredible city with two straight years of rapidly declining crime" during his visit.
“Coloradans stand united in our love of our state, and we are proud to be a beacon for personal freedoms, a vibrant economy, and world class outdoor recreational opportunities. I am sure when he comes to Aurora, he’ll find an incredible city with two straight years of rapidly declining crime that is filled with hard-working people from many diverse backgrounds and small businesses that are driving Colorado’s economy forward. As Coloradans, we are proud of Aurora, proud of Colorado, and proud of the United States of America,” said Polis in a statement.
U.S. Representative Lauren Boebert (R), who oversees Colorado's 3rd Congressional District and is running to represent the state's 4th Congressional District, said she is "ready and thrilled" to have the former president in Colorado. — Denver 7
Our Take: This is going to be fun, and I plan to be there early to get a good spot. I had four different contacts — from different groups / demographics — send me this announcement when it happened, and everyone is excited.
In 2020, Trump visited Colorado Springs, and the entire area was a sea of MAGA as people came from all over the state to see 45. I brought my oldest, and we didn’t get in because of the overwhelming turnout. I will not make that mistake again.
The leftist media here is flipping out, which is enjoyable for all of us, as they double down on their gaslight that migrants are our strength and crime isn’t a problem in the Centennial state. In reality, stores are closing, razors and shampoo are behind locked glass, car thefts are up, and even leftists have changed their behavior to account for the threat of rising migrant crime.
Additionally, open records published by the Denver Gazette last month prove that the government knew about the migrant gang takeover of Aurora apartment buildings and lied to the citizens about it.
Trump’s visit comes at a pivotal time for the Colorado regime, which is white knuckling its grip on the crumbling narrative.
There will be a sea of MAGA in Aurora on Friday. The tears of those forced to cover it are going to be delicious. —
Scoop: White House loses trust in Israeli government as Middle East spirals
The Biden administration has in recent weeks grown increasingly distrustful of what the Israeli government says about its military and diplomatic plans in the multi-front war it is fighting, four U.S. officials told Axios.
Why it matters: The worsening trust crisis is magnified by Israel's planned retaliation against Iran for its massive missile attack, which requires coordination with the U.S. in case Iran responds.
The Biden administration isn't opposed to Israel responding to the Iranian attack last week but wants it to be measured, U.S. officials said.
"Our trust of the Israelis is very low right now and for a good reason," one U.S. official said.
Behind the scenes: Two U.S. officials told Axios that during a call on Friday White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told Israel's minister for strategic affairs Ron Dermer that the U.S. expects "clarity and transparency" from Israel about its plans to retaliate against Iran because it will have implications for U.S. forces and interests in the region. — Axios

Israel defense minister cancels visit with Pentagon chief
Israel has canceled a planned Wednesday meeting between its Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, the Pentagon confirmed Tuesday.
“We were just informed that Minister Gallant will be postponing his trip to Washington, D.C.,” Pentagon deputy press secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters. “Secretary Austin looks forward to seeing him soon.”
Austin was set to meet with his Israeli counterpart at the Pentagon on Wednesday as the U.S. ally was debating how to respond to Iran’s attack last week. Gallant was also supposed to meet with White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
But hours before Gallant was to begin his travels, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly told him he did not approve of the visit and that he should wait until the Israeli leader speaks with President Biden, multiple outlets reported. The two have not spoken in nearly 50 days amid tensions over Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip and conflict between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Netanyahu also delayed the trip to wait for approval of his government’s political-security cabinet on Israel’s planned actions against Iran, according to Israel’s N12News.
The prime minister’s office told the outlet that the move was a normal order of operations and Gallant’s trip didn’t make sense as long as Israel had not made a clear decision on Iran. — The Hill
Our Take: "Our trust of the Israelis is very low right now and for a good reason," one U.S. official said.
Whether this is true is largely irrelevant. The way I see it, Netanyahu controls Blinken—who pledged fealty to Bibi after October 7th ("I come to you, not as an American diplomat, but as a Jew..."), Biden and Harris are mostly ignored, given tasks that keep them busy and out of the way, and Jake Sullivan is present but forgotten because nobody respects him.
So I actually buy the notion that many of the folks in the West Wing were in the dark on the details of the evolving situation, not because their hands are clean, but because nobody respected them enough to fill them in. But people in the State Department likely knew, along with some people in the White House, and probably the Pentagon.
But the real story, here, is that the US told Iran, China, India, and the rest of the Middle East that a peace deal was basically being signed—just hammering out final details—then BOOM! Nasrallah is dead.
Whether or not the US knew is irrelevant. The world thinks that we knew, and that we were in on the deception. From what I can tell, this is not being received around the world as a small thing. A breach of trust has occurred, and a political leader is suddenly dead when he had been promised peace. Surely, every other world leader has at least had the fleeting thought, "Could that happen to me?" since hearing the news.
This also isn't the first time the United States has done something like this, as this was the tactic used to finish off both Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi, who were both hiding from their respective lynch mob, when they promised to be spared if they came out and surrendered. Both ultimately did peacefully surrender, and both were brutally butchered in grotesque displays that were filmed and posted to the internet. Almost like a message to all the other rogue leaders out in the world who were thinking about crossing the Unipolar Hegemony.
So now the world sees us as a dangerous liability—perhaps even mentally unstable. Would that assessment be considered inaccurate? Doesn't that succinctly describe the mental patients now running our country?
But the dissent and distrust doesn't end in DC, because Netanyahu and his Defense Minister (Yoav Gallant) have been at odds since last spring, when Netanyahu fired Gallant (and immediately hired him back) after Gallant attended a rally calling for Netanyahu's resignation in a public display of defiance. Then Benny Gantz resigned from the government in June, the War Cabinet was dissolved, and Netanyahu became dependent on Gallant's willing participation, as his resignation or termination would now be less significant, because Netanyahu has elevated *minister without portfolio* Gideon Sa'ar to the Security Cabinet, as well as a new 3-man War Cabinet that includes Netanyahu and Gallant.
Even before this move happened, it has been speculated that Sa'ar would replace Gallant as Minister of Defense. Though Sa'ar has been a political rival of Netanyahu's, he shares in the vision of vanquished foes—whether he buys into Greater Israel is another, less relevant, question. As long as Sa'ar is thirsty for war, he will fit right into this sitcom from hell. —
"X-Rated Pedophile Hellscape": Roblox Shares Fall After Hindenburg Alleges Inflated DAUs, Rampant Child Pornography
Roblox has come under some scrutiny before, but not quite like this.
In a new report out this morning from short seller Hindenburg Research, the firm accuses the gaming company not just of running an in-game “pedophile hellscape”, but also inflating key metrics that have helped drive the company’s stock price since its direct listing in 2021.
Hindenburg says its research “indicates that Roblox is lying to investors, regulators, and advertisers about the number of ‘people’ on its platform, inflating the metric by 25-42%+”.
“We also show how engagement hours, another key metric, is inflated by an estimated 100%+,” the report alleges. “Since Roblox isn’t profitable, its stock price (and, in turn, insiders’ ability to dump hundreds of millions of dollars of stock) is reliant on the growth metrics it presents to Wall Street,” the firm adds.
Hindenburg writes: “To better understand the company’s reported engagement, we hired a technical consultant that monitored the top ~7,200 Roblox games across ~2.1 million Roblox servers, collecting 297.7 million rows of real-time player data.”
[…]
On top of questions about daily active users and engagement hours, the short seller called its in-game experience “an X-rated pedophile hellscape, exposing children to grooming, pornography, violent content and extremely abusive speech”.
“Following years of scandals, we performed our own checks to see if the platform had cleaned up its act. As a test, we attempted to set up an account under the name ‘Jeffrey Epstein’…only to see the name was taken, along with 900+ variations,” Hindenburg wrote. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: Some strange signal coming out of the War of Stories this week, as Roblox shares were down sharply after an industry report claimed they've been overestimating key metrics for years in an attempt to mislead investors.
Since the company hasn't turned a profit in ... ever, its share price represents the bulk of its perceived (and therefore, actual) value in the marketplace.
That said, that isn't the meat of the report, which comes out of Hindenburg Research.
Instead, Hindenburg claims the platform is an "X-Rated Pedophile Hellscape" that isn't just refusing to curtail child predation, but that seems to be designed and curated specifically to perpetuate it.
Roblox is one of the most popular entertainment platforms in the world for young children, a place where they can both view and play videos and games created by other players on the platform. Adult creators. Adult predators.
Google the situation, and observe that the MSM is ONLY discussing the share price, not the signal.

Colorado Supreme Court dismisses transgender cake case on technicality
The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to rule on whether Christian baker Jack Phillips can refuse to make a celebratory gender-transition case for a transgender customer, and instead dismissed the case on a technicality.
In a 4-3 decision, the justices found they could not consider whether Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop in Lakewood, can legally refuse to make a pink-and-blue cake for transgender attorney Autumn Scardina to celebrate her gender transition on the grounds that doing so would violate his Christian faith.
[…]
Scardina’s attorney, John McHugh, expressed disappointment and said he was evaluating if there were any remaining legal options.
“The Colorado Supreme Court decided to avoid the merits of this issue by inventing an argument no party raised,” McHugh said.
Phillips’ attorney, Jake Werner with the Arizona-based firm Alliance for Defending Freedom, said Tuesday that his client had been pursued and mocked for years by those who disagreed with him.
“Enough is enough,” Werner said. “Jack has been dragged through courts for over a decade. It’s time to leave him alone.” — Denver Post
Our Take: The saga of Jack Phillips and the Masterpiece Cake Shop has reached another milestone Tuesday. The latest case against the baker was dismissed by the Colorado Supreme Court, in what the institutional press in Colorado is calling ‘a technicality.’
The ‘technicality’ is the US Constitution’s protection of religious liberty and freedom of expression. From the state’s high court:
‘The underlying constitutional question this case raises has become the focus of intense public debate: How should governments balance the rights of transgender individuals to be free from discrimination in places of public accommodation with the rights of religious business owners when they are operating in the public market?’ Justice Melissa Hart wrote in the majority opinion. ‘We cannot answer that question.’
This case shines a spotlight on the state’s district and appeals courts, which did attempt to answer the question in ruling against Phillips and Masterpiece. The radical communists in Colorado intentionally target Christian business owners in an effort to make discrimination claims. In all cases — spanning more than a decade — the courts have ultimately, repeatedly found that the government cannot force a person or business into participating in a ceremony or event that violates their deeply held religious beliefs.
And, yet, they still target Phillips. The process is the punishment.
This decision by the Colorado Supreme Court is a notable shift, however, for a court that is widely considered the most progressive state high court in the nation. The 4-3 ruling is the first contentious ruling from the court since Monica Márquez was appointed as Chief Justice in September. Marquez joined the majority in this ruling.
I’m sure Phillips is taking a celebratory sigh of relief before bracing for whatever the communists throw at him next. Congratulations, sir. Godspeed. —
African military ruler sets deadline to reclaim land from Jihadists
Burkina Faso’s interim president, Ibrahim Traore, has vowed to recapture all the country’s territory still under terrorist control by 2025. The West African nation has been battling jihadist groups since 2015, including some affiliated with al-Qaeda.
Capt. Traore announced the target date during an interview with national broadcaster RTB on Saturday, marking his second anniversary as Burkina Faso’s military ruler after ousting interim President Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba in a September 2022 coup.
The transitional leader said his government has recruited more than 30,000 people into the army as part of a commitment to defeat rebel groups and retake the territories they occupy.
“The intensity of the offensives has decreased due to the rainy season and we will resume them very soon. The year 2025 is crucial and we will conquer the remaining 30% of the territory,” Traore said. — RT

Russia set to remove Taliban from terrorist list, says Putin’s envoy
Russia has made "a principle decision" to remove the Taliban from its list of terrorist organizations, Putin's envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kamulov said on Friday, according to Russian state media TASS.
Russia's foreign ministry and security service "are putting finishing legal touches" on the removal, said Kamulov, adding that the final decision will "hopefully" be announced soon.
The Taliban was added to Russia's blacklist in 2003 for backing separatists in the North Caucasus.
In separate comments on Friday during the annual diplomatic forum on Afghanistan in Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on Western countries to lift sanctions on the Taliban.
"We once again appeal to Western countries with an urgent call to acknowledge responsibility for the post-conflict reconstruction of Afghanistan, lift sanctions restrictions, and return Kabul's appropriated assets," he said during the opening remarks of the meeting, where Taliban's Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi had also been present.
Lavrov also praised the current Afghan leadership for its fight against drugs and the Islamic State, while not expressly mentioning the Taliban. — Politico EU
Our Take: Let's check in on our favorite African leader, Ibrahim Traore. (Youngest world leader at 36.)
During my August interview with General Kwast, he mentioned the "hero system" of Africa being broken. We didn't get a chance to flush out the idea, but I think what he was referring to was how the malevolent colonial interests would destroy any good/decent person who was a strong and capable leader, while promoting narcissistic sociopaths who were easy to control. I think that's why I find President Traore so compelling.
[From the article]
On August 24, the landlocked country suffered one of the deadliest attacks since violence spilled over from neighboring Mali over a decade ago. At least 200 were reportedly killed and 169 others injured when Islamist militants opened fire on residents who were digging defensive trenches in the north-central town of Barsalogho.
Speaking to RTB over the weekend, Traore claimed that the Barsalogho assault was intended to harm him.
“I will not go into details, but I think I was personally targeted. In July 2022, I defied many orders to intervene so that Barsalogho would not fall. I sacrificed a lot of things for Barsalogho. They targeted Barsalogho because it was going to affect me,” he stated.
Wait! Hold up! Are they going to try and come at our guy?! Call the banners! Send the ravens! Ride now!
But seriously, if ISIS knew that intel about Traore, then that tells me that they are working with the people who controlled the country before Traore drove them out— France, EU, NATO, CIA, maybe others— and were there fighting him that day in Barsalogho. So ISIS was likely fed that intel that Traore has a soft spot for that town (maybe family there?) and are trying to provoke an emotional response that will force him to make a bad move and get himself killed. (Remember, this guy is young and still a soldier.)
Fortunately, Traore has friends.
[From the article]
According to the Burkinabe leader, “seeing Africans unite is not good for other people,” so they are doing everything possible to destroy the AES.
“That is why very early on we began to immediately set up liaison officers in each country,” he said.
Traore did not mention names, but he and allies in Niamey and Bamako have previously accused Ukraine of supporting terrorism in the Sahel after insurgents allegedly used intelligence from Kiev to carry out an attack in July that killed dozens of Malian soldiers and Wagner Group military personnel.
All three countries under military rule have severed defense ties with their former colonial power, France, citing meddling and the alleged failure of French forces to resolve the unrest. The former French colonies have sought security cooperation with Russia, and Moscow has agreed to assist them in counter-terrorism efforts.
So the list of assassinations and assassination attempts include Abe, Raisi, Abbas, Farage, Fico, Maduro, Bolsinaro, Tshisekedi, Kobakhidze (threatened), Kari Lake (threatened), Trump, Putin, Assad, MBS (allegedly), Erdogan, Kim Jong Un, and... Zelensky?
This list isn't all inclusive of what we perceive to be the Sovereign Alliance. There are notable names missing—Bukele, Xi, Orban, and Traore, among others— and let's pray it stays that way. I think we're gonna need all the homies present to pull this one off.
PS - I guess we need to add Niamey (Niger) and Bamako (Mali) to the list of homies. They will need TrumpaMania stage names. —

Multiple hurricanes eroding Washington’s disaster programs
The federal government could be nearing a collapse of its ability to help with major disasters as the second catastrophic hurricane in less than two weeks bears down on Florida.
Hurricane Milton, a Category 5 storm whose winds reached 180 mph late Monday, is whirling toward a possible landfall in Tampa Bay just as the main federal disaster programs are facing financial instability amid a series of recent calamities, including Hurricane Helene’s flooding of communities throughout the Southeast.
Those include the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s disaster fund, which pays for repair and rebuilding efforts; the Small Business Administration’s loans to stricken businesses and homeowners; and FEMA’s flood insurance program. All could be within weeks of running dry of cash, based on recent remarks by President Joe Biden, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and insurance analysts — even as FEMA sought to assure the public Monday that it has enough money to meet its “life-saving” responsibilities for Helene and Milton.
The concerns about federal resources are growing as lawmakers of both parties clamor for Congress to return to Washington before the November election to approve additional disaster funding. Fiscal conservatives in the House have balked at that, and Speaker Mike Johnson said this weekend that he had no plans to bring his members back. — Politico
Trump’s 2020 election claims back in spotlight in closing weeks of campaign
Former President Trump’s refusal to accept his 2020 election loss is back in the headlines because of his own comments and those of his running mate, putting an issue that could be problematic for Trump front and center in the closing weeks of the 2024 campaign.
Vice President Harris has not made the argument that Trump is a threat to democracy nearly as central to her campaign as President Biden did before ending his candidacy in July.
But Trump’s unwillingness to let go of his defeat or even acknowledge it and the reluctance of many Republicans to break with the former president on the topic has given Democrats an opening to appeal to voters wary of backing the GOP nominee. — The Hill

Is anyone aware that Hillary still feels she won the 2016 election.? The frustrating part is, and I'm no brain, I knew the night of the 2020 election the winner would not be living in the whitehouse. I watched in real time as 6 swing states stopped counting simultaneously when one man was too far ahead and too many votes were in. I have never experience counting of votes stopping during a presidential election never happened in my lifetime. And who gave the order for 6 states to stop simultaneously, a coincidence?. And 1,000 people that experienced in person what happened that night signed affidavits knowing a lie would end them up in prison. Not one judge would look at any of the evidence, including the supreme court. Pay offs or threats we will never know. One thing I do know is we have to all go on pretending that 2020 was the most legitimate election of our lifetime. And if you believe that Biden received more votes , 81M, than Obama 69M in 2008 at the height of his popularity then get yourself some therapy.
