Donald Trump Closing Gap on Kamala Harris in Top Election Forecast
Donald Trump is rapidly closing the gap on Kamala Harris in one of the most closely watched election forecasts.
As the 2024 presidential race tightens, new data shows Trump's chances of winning in November are at their highest since August 11, with FiveThirtyEight's election simulator showing that he has a 47 percent chance of winning. It gives Harris a 53 percent chance, down from a high of 64 percent on September 18.
Since Harris took over as the Democratic candidate at the end of July, after President Joe Biden ended his re-election campaign, polls have looked largely positive for the vice president, with national surveys showing her leading Trump by as much as 7 points.
Harris' lead marked a reversal of fortunes for Trump, who was previously leading Biden in the polls. FiveThirtyEight's election simulator shows that Harris has been predicted to win against Trump since August 8, just over two weeks after Biden dropped out. Recent polls, however, suggest the gap between Trump and Harris is starting to close. — Newsweek

Leaders Call for Calm Ahead of Potentially Fraught Election Outcome
Less than a month out from Election Day, there are concerns on both sides of the aisle about the aftermath of what could be one of the closest races in modern history, with some lawmakers warning of a potential repeat of events following the 2020 election.
Four years ago, then-President Donald Trump contested the fact that he lost to Joe Biden. His allies launched widespread legal challenges and there were attempts to overturn Biden's victory, which culminated in a Trump-supporting mob marching on the Capitol on January 6, 2021 to disrupt the certification of Electoral College votes.
Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin told Newsweek, "If Vice President Kamala Harris wins, we cannot allow Donald Trump to continue the Big Lie—like he did in 2020—and refuse to accept the election results. As a nation, we can only move forward if there is a peaceful transition of power."
Last week, at a White House press briefing, Biden said that he was confident the election would be "free and fair," but said "I don't know whether it will be peaceful. The things that Trump has said and the things that he said last time out when he didn't like the outcome of the election were very dangerous." — Newsweek
Our Take: The 50/50 country lie is everything to the regime.
The idea that Americans are split down the middle on all issues that matter is the premise for our current dystopian nightmare in America, and it’s a present assumption in every political story from regime mouthpieces. We discussed this yesterday with Politico, and it’s present here in both these articles from Newsweek.
This fake foundational fact is enabled by fake polling, which is why the reports of Trump gaining outcome-determinative support across key demographics never seem to translate into a meaningful polling advantage. The narrative sets the polls, not the other way around.
In the second article, we find Amy Klobuchar, a 2016 election denier that appeared in the Democrat’s 2020 election denial film, Kill Chain.
This film made all of the same assertions about the security of election machines that Trump-supporting election activists make, yet it’s been memory-holed — ostensibly because Democrat election deniers were handled following its release.
Maybe that’s not what happened, but they certainly haven’t explained what changed their minds since the movie.
They just got on message. —
Zelensky Cancels Fall Peace Summit After 'Victory Plan' Fails To Impress Washington
Germany's national dpa press agency (Deutsche Presse-Agentur) is reporting that Ukraine is scrapping plans for a second international peace summit which was to be held ahead of the US presidential election in November.
"The presidential office led by Andriy Yermak is responsible for preparing the gathering that seeks to bring together government representatives and organizations from around the globe to discuss Zelensky's plan aimed at ending more than two and a half years of war with Russia," the media outlet said.
"Initially, Ukraine had hoped for the second such conference to be held ahead of the November 5 election in the US, which could see the return of Republican Donald Trump to the White House, but an adviser to Yermak said on Tuesday that the plan was no longer feasible," dpa continues.
It had been tentatively scheduled for October 30 and October 31, or also possibly the start of November, but now the Ukraine presidency's office has announced that "The question of a date for the second peace summit will be decided after the thematic conferences have been concluded," in reference to prior smaller conferences.
"The Second Peace Summit will not take place in November," senior Ukrainian presidential aide Darya Zarivna separately confirmed.
The first big conference hosted in Switzerland this past June was attended by about 100 countries, and concluded without the conflict being any closer to moving toward peace talks between Moscow and Kiev. Quite the opposite... since then Russian forces have continued pushing back the Ukrainian army's positions in the east, and pro-Kiev forces have only stepped up drone attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, including recent attacks in Crimea.
Moscow was invited to neither the summer conference nor the one that was supposed to take place this fall. On this basis the Kremlin has rejected the legitimacy of the talks. China too has said such conferences are futile without representation of the other warring party. — ZeroHedge

Heads of 9 post-Soviet states gather in Moscow, issue joint statement to the world
We, the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan) call upon the peoples of our countries and the world to prevent the resurgence of fascism, Nazism, and militarism, and to thwart any attempts to incite a new world war.
Eighty years ago, the multinational Soviet people achieved a historic victory in the Great Patriotic War. This war, the most devastating in human history, claimed the lives of millions of our compatriots — those who perished on the battlefields, in partisan units, under bombardments, endured torture in occupied territories and concentration camps, and those who died from cold and hunger.
This most brutal war in human history ended victoriously in May 1945, largely due to the unity, unyielding resilience, and heroic self-sacrifice of our peoples. The brotherhood in arms and labor achievements secured the victory in the Great Patriotic War. We take pride in the fact that, having withstood all trials, the peoples of our countries made an invaluable contribution to the ultimate victory over fascism.
Recognizing the special significance of the anti-Hitler coalition as a unique historical union of states with different political systems against a common threat to humanity, we recall that the actions of the main Nazi perpetrators, who bear full responsibility for the outbreak and conduct of World War II, were deemed criminal by the judgment of the International Military Tribunal.
We emphasize that the atrocities committed by the Nazis and their accomplices, including the expulsion and extermination of peaceful civilians, as established by the Tribunal's verdict, must be regarded as genocide against the peoples of the Soviet Union. Today, it is essential not to forget the principled assessments of the criminal activities of the Nazi leaders, which were made by the Nuremberg Tribunal and reaffirmed by the United Nations General Assembly.
Our Take: "The Second Peace Summit will not take place in November," senior Ukrainian presidential aide Darya Zarivna separately confirmed.”
Pity. That peace summit was suppose to take place in Riyadh.
Something tells me that the venues—which purportedly also included China, among other Sovereign Alliance nations—suddenly became unavailable. I'm not buying that these parasites would pass up the chance to grift, especially with Trump's imminent return spelling the end of the gravy train. My guess is that all of the terrorism being committed by the always virtuous Unipolar Hegemony has soured everybody on a happy ending.
Which means we may get the really happy ending.
The Sovereign Alliance now has the Hegemony in an array of narrative pincers, and seems poised to begin picking the Hegemony apart.
For example, the IDF is now reportedly killing UN Peacekeeping troops, and Ukraine is being openly accused of funding ISIS and its attempts to overthrow African governments. This puts the United States in a precarious position, as it is being led into war against the world by Israel, while Zelensky's reckless accountant could seemingly expose the State Department's role in global terrorism.
And now we have the former Soviet Union (no longer under Bolshevik control) coming together to finish the fight from WW2—implying that the conflict was never truly resolved. Could they be referring to the fact that so much of the Third Reich ended up in the US Executive Branch? —
Trump plans rallies in solidly Democratic states in an unorthodox strategy for the election's final weeks
Get ready for Donald Trump’s blue state extravaganza.
With less than four weeks until Election Day, Trump is scheduled to hold rallies in staunchly Democratic states he has virtually no chance of winning. It’s an unorthodox strategy campaign advisers say is designed to focus on areas where Democratic policies have failed, but it will also keep him away from the small handful of swing states almost certain to determine the election.
Over the next month, the former president has events scheduled in Colorado, California, Illinois and New York. President Joe Biden won those states by an average of 20 points in 2020, with his 13-point Colorado win the closest margin. Colorado is the only one of those states to vote for a Republican nominee for president this millennium, backing George W. Bush in 2004.
While each event will be held in slightly different venues, the most notable will be later this month in Madison Square Garden, a place where Trump has long said he wanted to hold a political rally.
“Choosing high-impact settings makes it so the media can’t look away and refuse to cover the issues and the solutions President Trump is offering,” said a senior Trump campaign adviser of the strategy behind late-election cycle events in Democratic states. “We live in a nationalized media environment and the national media’s attention on these large-scale, outside-the-norm settings increases the reach of his message across the country and penetrates in every battle ground state.”
“President Trump is closing the campaign highlighting the problems the country faces as a result of Harris and Biden’s failed leadership and articulating his solutions to solve the problems they created,” the adviser added. — NBC News
Our Take: Trump is flexing and showing the world his actual levels of support. We saw it in New Jersey and Long Island, and you’ll see it today in Colorado.
I got tickets when they dropped, and everyone is excited. The left is flipping out, crying “we don’t want you here!” while the people are planning their attendance. A couple different folks have told me they’re queuing up on Thursday just to make sure they get in.
Support to put America First is massive — again, we are not a 50/50 country — and Trump’s latest rally announcements are going to put that support undeniably on display.
The “too big to rig” narrative comes with visuals in so-called “blue strongholds.”
I hope I get in. —
Another Take: The Deep State is currently beta testing which story will most effectively deny Donald Trump the presidency come January, and by extension, the American people their mandate.
“We need, and I hate to use this word because they should have never done it with respect to COVID, they should have never done it, but for this, we need a MANDATE."
Why is this quote so significant?
Trump broke election kayfabe for a rare mask-drop moment in order to send out a signal flare as to what this election cycle is all about.
We all know Trump won the 2020 election. The enemy knows it, too. And yet, for all intents and purposes, it doesn't matter who wins, only which story the American people accept in the aftermath.
And as we've learned in excruciating detail since the advent of the Covid era, you DO NOT require a majority to cement the illusion of public mandate.
So, when Trump says he needs a "mandate victory" on November 5, he's talking about public buy-in to the winning story ... —
TD Bank Pleads Guilty to Bank Secrecy Act and Money Laundering Conspiracy Violations in $1.8B Resolution
TD Bank N.A. (TDBNA), the 10th largest bank in the United States, and its parent company TD Bank US Holding Company (TDBUSH) (together with TDBNA, TD Bank) pleaded guilty today and agreed to pay over $1.8 billion in penalties to resolve the Justice Department’s investigation into violations of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and money laundering.
TDBNA pleaded guilty to conspiring to fail to maintain an anti-money laundering (AML) program that complies with the BSA, fail to file accurate Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), and launder money. TDBUSH pleaded guilty to causing TDBNA to fail to maintain an AML program that complies with the BSA and to fail to file accurate CTRs.
TD Bank’s guilty pleas are part of a coordinated resolution with the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve Board (FRB), as well as the Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
“By making its services convenient for criminals, TD Bank became one,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “Today, TD Bank also became the largest bank in U.S. history to plead guilty to Bank Secrecy Act program failures, and the first US bank in history to plead guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering. TD Bank chose profits over compliance with the law — a decision that is now costing the bank billions of dollars in penalties. Let me be clear: our investigation continues, and no individual involved in TD Bank’s illegal conduct is off limits.”
“For years, TD Bank starved its compliance program of the resources needed to obey the law. Today’s historic guilty plea, including the largest penalty ever imposed under the Bank Secrecy Act, offers an unmistakable lesson: crime doesn’t pay — and neither does flouting compliance,” said Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. “Every bank compliance official in America should be reviewing today’s charges as a case study of what not to do. And every bank CEO and board member should be doing the same. Because if the business case for compliance wasn’t clear before — it should be now.” — DOJ
Our Take: My wife is Canadian. She unfortunately banks with these fucks (a fact that will soon be remedied.)
Last time she made a sizable withdrawal (only a few thousand,) they had the nerve to interrogate us as to what we would be using our cash for.
Gotta keep an eye on them balance sheets when you're laundering your customers' funds on behalf of a global crime syndicate, eh?
Just another reminder that, if you don't hold it, you don't own it ... and that every conspiracy theory involving "the banks" is true.
On a side note, is this ANOTHER example of the super evil and definitely not patriot/Devo-controlled Regime DOJ going after core pillars of the Global Cabal?
This week alone, we've had major progressions in Antitrust cases against Apple, Amazon and Google, the latter of which is now being threatened with the first major American break-up in over 30 years.
Despite narratives to the contrary, it's not actually a great time to be a banker, a cartel member ... or, in TD's case, BOTH. —
Gulf states ask US to stop Israel – Reuters
Several Arab states in the Persian Gulf have lobbied the US to restrain Israel from striking Iranian oil facilities, fearing that Tehran could take revenge by hitting their production and disrupting global markets, according to Reuters.
Iran struck Israel with a barrage of missiles on October 1, calling it a response for the killing of the Hamas and Hezbollah leaders. Israel has vowed a “strong response” after coordinating with the US.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates have reportedly told Washington they will not allow Israeli jets to use their airspace for an attack, Reuters reported, citing three sources close to their governments. — RT
Our Take: Interesting. Could the Arabs be signaling to the American Public that this is the Deep State's plan? Strike Iran's oil infrastructure, devastate the world economy, delay the election until further notice? Sounds more than feasible.
“The Iranians have stated: ‘if the Gulf states open up their airspace to Israel, that would be an act of war’,” the agency quoted Ali Shihabi, a Saudi analyst close to the royal court, as saying.
Saudi Crown Prince Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly discussed a potential Israeli strike with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on Wednesday, according to sources on both sides.
Two Iranian officials confirmed to the agency that Tehran has warned Riyadh against helping Israel, saying it could not guarantee the safety of Saudi Arabia’s oil facility in such a scenario.
And there's the signal that the Sovereign Alliance is at work. I don't buy the threat anecdote. Neither China nor Russia would allow Iran to hit Saudi Arabia— both have invested too much money there, lately, to allow a powder keg like this to destroy it all. But the threat is a necessary vehicle to raise the stakes, and I have long thought that Saudi Crown Prince MBS was running a feign against Netanayhu—killing him with kindness, while negotiating lucrative bilateral agreements with key partners who have helped lead Netanyahu out into the open.
If the plan is the minimize the loss of life, then a political decapitation that is supported by the people of Israel is the most logical play. That support will only fully manifest if the Israeli people recognize that Bibi Netanyahu is the greatest threat to their security, because he is provoking the entire region into war.
The question is whether the Israeli people will sue for peace, and if they don't, what are Putin, Xi, and MBS prepared to do about it? —
Inflation Prints Hotter Than Expected After Big Fed Rate-Cut
For the 52nd straight month, core consumer prices rose on a MoM basis in September (+0.3% MoM - hotter than the 0.2% expected) - the strongest since March. That left Core CPI YoY up 3.3%, hotter than the 3.2% expected...
Source: Bloomberg
The headline CPI also printed hotter than expected (+0.2% MoM vs +0.1% MoM exp), with the YoY CPI up 2.4% (hotter than the 2.3% expected but lowest since Feb 2021)...
Source: Bloomberg
Overall, headline consumer prices are up over 20% (5.1% p.a.) since the Biden-Harris admin took over, which compares to around 8% (1.97% p.a) during Trump's first term... — ZeroHedge
Our Take: This article asks the question: “Could we really replay the '70s once again?”
Not to hand out black pills, but if the status quo continues, it’s going to be worse.
The cost of everything that matters is up for American consumers. Core services, transportation costs, car insurance, and food all make the top line metrics from Bloomberg, as outlined here by ZeroHedge. Inflation in housing has slowed but is still present, and real wages are down from the Biden-Harris administration’s starting point.
The people know this, of course, as they can feel the effects of progressive policy impacting their wallets, and their lives, every single day. The carefully crafted economic narrative evaporates in the face of consumers’ monthly budgeting endeavors.
Now consider that the economic metrics are always manipulated to favor the regime. The obvious question — for which the speculative answer drives my initial assertion in this take — is:
How bad is it really?
That is, are replaying 1973 or 1929?
Make America Great Again. —

'Jewish state will extend from Jerusalem to Damascus': Israeli finance minister
In a new documentary, Israeli minister Bezalel Smotrich detailed his desire to conquer not only all Palestinian territory to the Jordan River but also the Syrian capital of Damascus and territories extending as far as Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Smotrich, the Finance Minister in the Israeli cabinet and head of the Religious Zionism party, made the comments in a recently released documentary entitled Israel: Extremists in Power. The documentary was produced by Arte Reportage, a Franco-German broadcast news magazine.
When asked about his goal, Smotrich tells the interviewer, “I want a Jewish state … It is a country run according to the values of the Jewish people.”Israel currently controls territory from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River, including the Palestinian territories in the West Bank, which have been under Israeli military occupation since 1967.
Israel has been building illegal Jewish settlements on stolen Palestinian land in the West Bank ever since.
The interviewer then asked Smotrich whether he thought the borders of the Jewish state should extend past the Jordan River.
Smotrich responded by saying, “Absolutely, but slowly … Our great religious elders used to say that the future of Jerusalem was to extend as far as Damascus.” — The Cradle
Our Take:
Yesterday, the public finally got acquainted with Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich.
While National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir—the other radical zealot in Netanyahu's Security Cabinet—is a belligerent psychopath who believes all Christians should be expelled from the Holy Land by force, Bezalel Smotrich is a far more cunning and devious villain. Together, those two embody the political movement for Jewish Supremacy, marrying unhinged violence with ruthless calculation.
Ben-Gvir controls the police, both in Israel and occupied Palestine, and videos are all over the internet of his thugs beating Jews in Jerusalem who protest against the fascist Israeli government.
In the West Bank (Palestine), Israeli settlers stalk the countryside, looking for land or homes to steal. They are escorted by the IDF, and when they do come across an unfortunate soul, should that Palestinian resist having their home/land stolen, they are either arrested or shot by the IDF, and branded as a "terrorist" by the Israeli government. Here is a video of some settlers harassing a bedouin shepherd, taking his goats, and then stealing his farm.
This has been the reality of the Palestinian existence since 1967, when the IDF invaded and occupied the West Bank, Gaza, the Golan Heights(Syria), and the Sinai Peninsula(Egypt).
The Sinai occupation was resolved in 1976 with the Camp David Accords. The IDF withdrew from Egypt, and in exchange, Egypt relinquished control of Gaza— which it had managed as a protectorate ever since The Nakba ("Catastrophe") in 1948. Egyptian President Gamal Nasser (who was always vilified in western media) had implemented a strict policy of execution against operatives of the Muslim Brotherhood who were caught in Egypt or Gaza. The Israeli government suspended this policy, and Brotherhood operatives (trained by western intelligence agencies as part of Operation Gladio) got busy setting up networks in Gaza, leading to the creation of Hamas in 1988, among other paramilitary organizations.
When Hamas finally won its first election in 2006, it attacked the Fatah (majority party in the Palestinian Authority government) security forces, driving them out of Gaza, then turned its attention on the IDF, driving them out, along with the thousands of settlers who had occupied homes and constructed other dwellings.
The Golan Heights and West Bank remain under military occupation, to this day.
In the January 1962 edition of Look Magazine, a question was posed to various world leaders: “What does the next 25 years hold for the World?”
The first Prime Minister of Israel, David Ben Gurion, spoke of establishing a one world government with Jerusalem as the capital, predicting that the United States and Europe would collapse into welfare states after their governments were usurped by scientists. (How prophetic.)
He also foretold of a pill to prevent pregnancy, which was approved by the FDA just a few years later.
“The image of the world in 1987 as traced in my imagination: The Cold War will be a thing of the past. Internal pressure of the constantly growing intelligentsia in Russia for more freedom and the pressure of the masses for raising their living standards may lead to a gradual democratization of the Soviet Union…"
“…On the other hand, the increasing influence of the workers and farmers, and the rising Political importance of men of science, may transform the United States into a welfare state with a planned economy. Western and Eastern Europe will become a federation of autonomous states having a Socialist and democratic regime."
“With the exception of the U.S.S.R. as a federated Eurasian State, all other continents will become united in a world alliance at whose disposal will be an international police force. All armies will be abolished and there will be no more wars."
“In Jerusalem, the United Nations (a truly United Nations) will build a shrine of the prophets to serve the federated union of all continents; this will be the seat of the Supreme Court of Mankind, to settle all controversies among the federated continents, as prophesied by Isaiah…”
[Note the contempt toward the Russian people. Revenge for the Pale of Settlement.]
Nine years after this interview was published, the World Economic Forum was founded (1971) by Klaus Schwab—at the direction of his mentor, Henry Kissinger. Two years later, The Trilateral Commission was founded (1973) by Zbigniew Brzezinski—also at the direction of Kissinger, who at the time was Secretary of State and negotiating the creation of the Petro Dollar with Saudi King Faisal as a resolution to the 1973 Oil Crisis. Negotiations concluded in 1974, and Kissinger's Commander in Chief, Richard Nixon, resigns later that year due to the Watergate scandal.
In addition to Secretary of State, Kissinger was also Nixon's National Security Advisor. He maintained both of these positions under President Ford, until Jimmy Carter's inauguration in January 1977.
And now we have this clip from Bezalel Smotrich.
It would appear that the State of Israel is not exactly what we have been told it is. —

Scoop: Some top Dems won't commit to certifying a Trump win
House Democrats railed against House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) for hedging on whether a GOP-controlled House would certify a Kamala Harris victory. But some of their senior members are playing a similar game.
Why it matters: Those Democrats are trapped between their deep distrust of Donald Trump and their vigorous denunciations of any election challenges in the years since the Jan. 6 attack.
Democratic leaders, however, seem fully prepared to certify a Trump victory – making potential dissenters a small minority.
What they're saying: Raskin, the House Oversight Committee ranking member and former Jan. 6 committee member who objected to Trump electors in 2017, told Axios in an interview that if Trump "won a free, fair and honest election, then we would obviously accept it." — Axios
Bill Clinton joins Obama as part of Harris campaign blitz
Former President Bill Clinton will hit the campaign trail for Vice President Harris in key battleground states this week.
Why it matters: The battleground blitz comes as former President Barack Obama is also crisscrossing swing states campaigning for Harris. Coupled with President Biden, three of six living presidents are currently stumping for the vice president.
Clinton and Obama's efforts aim to lock in support among the razor-thin margins that will likely determine the election.
Driving the news: Clinton will start his trot through the south with stops in Georgia on Sunday and Monday as he attempts to leverage his long-standing relationships with rural voters, a group the Harris campaign has been increasingly courting.
The well-liked former presidents both rallied behind Harris at the Democratic National Convention, but as the curtains close on an unprecedented election season, they're meeting key voters where they are.
For Clinton, that means addressing Americans far from the massive rallies signature to the Harris campaign. Instead, he'll speak to a few hundred people at a time at local fairs and porch events, CNN reported.
Clinton will also campaign for Harris in North Carolina, pending ongoing recovery efforts from Hurricane Helene, according to a senior campaign official who was provided anonymity to preview details of campaign strategy.
The big picture: "The Harris campaign unleashes the Big Dog," Harris-Walz campaign spokesperson Ian Sams said in a post to X Thursday. — Axios
