In response to Trump indictment, Fox News spins a conspiracy theory about Biden corruption accusations
Fox News has responded to the indictment of former President Donald Trump for withholding classified documents with a swell of demagoguery suggesting this event signals the end of American democracy. But the network is pushing another ridiculous angle: That the indictment was timed to distract from House Republicans’ latest accusations against President Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
The conspiracy theory is obviously baseless. Special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation of Trump has been going on for months, and Fox itself reported two weeks ago that Smith was going to conclude it soon. In order to buy into Fox’s claim that the indictment is a distraction, you would have to believe that the entire process of Smith’s appointment last November and his 7 month long investigation was timed to produce an indictment in June this year, just in time to spoil yet another House Republican attempt to kick up a manufactured scandal against the Biden family. — Media Matters
Our Take: “I use the Media Matters reading of this situation for two reasons:
It will be relevant to another item in today’s Brief, with some commentary by our other Badlands members.
The Media mouthpiece is perhaps more representative of the Globalist Deep State machine than any other.

On the one hand, Trump is literally seeding the idea of Narrative Convergence to the Collective Mind.
He's laying it all out in plain sight, lately, as the period between Narrative Deployment and Narrative Whiplash continues to shrink as the frequency picks up.
That's a LOT of Narrative!
Trump and MAGA are REEEEing about the weaponization of the DOJ ... which is causing the Media Industrial Complex and Establishment Swamp to close ranks AROUND said DOJ ... which will trap them in a position where they're unable to 'turn' on said DOJ when it starts rolling all of them up.

Klaus Schwab’s WEF Sets Authoritarian Goal: Limit 76% of Private Cars by 2050
In a push to counter the so-called ‘climate change,’ the globalist World Economic Forum (WEF), under the leadership of its founder and Executive Chairman, Klaus Schwab, has proposed a comprehensive plan aiming to limit 76% of private cars by the year 2050.
The authoritarian objective is a part of WEF’s broader vision for a ‘sustainable and low-carbon future,’ as outlined in its Urban Mobility Scorecard Tool: Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility in collaboration with Visa in May 2023.
According to WEF’s recently published white paper, by 2050, people are likely to travel twice as much within cities as they do now. If people don’t change anything, this would mean that there would be 2.1 billion cars, buses, and other vehicles on the road, emitting 4.6 billion tons of carbon dioxide.
The paper suggests if we can get more people using shared transport, like public buses or ride shares, and if we can switch to electric cars and self-driving vehicles, we could bring the number of vehicles down to just 500 million by 2050. This would dramatically reduce our carbon emissions – ‘by 80%.’ — The Gateway Pundit
Our Take: “I bet everyone can't wait until they own nothing and are eating bugs to survive. It's something we're all really looking forward to. This push dovetails with the desire to create ‘15-minute cities,’ where everything is provided within a 15-minute distance from your front door.
Whether it's the 15-minute cities or vaccine passports, the Davos globalists can't help but try to concoct new ways to make the future look as bleak as possible. What's funny is that, at least for now, even the most rabid leftist doesn't (in my personal experience) seem particularly thrilled about the ruling class's dystopian vision for the future. I'm sure that's nothing a good propaganda campaign won't remedy.

13 hurt when large weekend street party turns violent in Syracuse, New York, police say
A street party that attracted hundreds of people turned violent early Sunday in Syracuse, New York, leaving at least 13 people injured, authorities said.
At least four people suffered gunshot wounds and five others had apparent knife wounds, among other injuries, police said.
Other victims were apparently accidentally struck by vehicles while fleeing what the department said was a “large gathering of hundreds of people" on the city's West Side.
Police Lt. Matthew Malinowski said all of the injured, three males and 10 females, ranging between the ages of 17 and 25, are expected to survive. The 13 known victims were located on the street or later at hospitals, he added. — ABC News
Our Take: “The way this story evolved was bizarre. A violent incident occurred in Syracuse early Sunday morning, and details are still murky. Every news outlet covered the same vague summary of events. There was a mass gathering ... a large gathering ... a pop-up block party — the mockingbirds eventually settled on ‘an apparent street party.’ There were shootings and stabbings and vehicular injuries that resulted in 13 young victims — three men and 10 women all between the ages of 17 and 25.
But for almost 18 hours, there were no details about why hundreds of people were gathering in the middle of the street in the middle of night in Syracuse; no details about what caused the violence or the sequence of events, whether the stabbings preceded the gun shots or vice versa; and, aside from age and gender, there are still no details about the intersectional demographics of victims. In other words, the details are being closely held by police, and the reporting about this shooting still feels relatively sanitized compared to how incidents of community violence are usually reported.
The crowd was a mix of high school students, recent high school graduates and college students, many of whom had just returned home for the summer, according to ABC News. ‘The party was advertised on social media,’ Police Chief Joe Cecile said. ‘No permit was issued, and the streets were not officially blocked off or policed.’
A 'block party' that resulted in stab wounds, gun shot wounds, and people getting hit by cars should spark journalistic curiosity and, with hundreds of people in attendance, local reporters should have some meaningful details about what started the violence. Instead, reporters are only publishing details from the police. Where are the scoops? Where are the interviews with traumatized attendees? Maybe the hundreds of people in attendance collectively decided to freeze out the press, but that seems unlikely among the TikTok generation. This sterile reporting feels controlled, unnatural.
The only interview I’ve found is from a man that lives in the neighborhood named Richard Webb who used the violence to call for disarmament. ‘Each time this event takes place my house ends up with bullets in it. Just recently last night, there were four more bullets,’ Webb said to Spectrum News. ‘Put down the guns and stop this madness. Life is short, and it’s a beautiful thing. Why end it that quickly?’ Webb is apparently not concerned about the stabbings and vehicular injuries, just the guns.
Thankfully, all 13 of the victims are expected to recover — and that's better news than we've come to expect from incidents of mass violence in 2023 America.” —
Succession: George Soros Hands Son Alex Control of His $25 Billion Empire
Billionaire left-wing Democrat donor George Soros is handing control of his $25 billion financial empire to his younger son Alex who has vowed to pursue even more ultra-liberal causes.
The newly crowned 37-year-old heir told the Wall Street Journal he will broaden his father’s famously woke interests to include issues like voting and abortion rights as well as “gender equality.”
He also feels bound to inject himself into the day-to-day political affairs of the nation ahead of the 2024 election.
“I’m more political,” Alex observed when comparing himself to his Hungarian-born financier father.
He has already visited the White House 17 times in just over a year and met with big-name Democrats, as Breitbart News reported. — Breitbart
Our Take: “What we already suspected, in the wake of his multiple visits to the Biden White House, has now been confirmed: George Soros has officially (at least publicly) handed over the reins of his massive deep political operation to his 37-year-old son Alexander.
What's most interesting here is how public the whole affair is. Soros is the type of character who knows the value of discretion and has conducted the majority of his ‘philanthropy’ in a very discreet fashion. So why now are we seeing his business front and center? Previously, and despite being an admitted atheist, even mentioning the man’s name was enough to see somebody branded with the scarlet letter of ‘anti-semitism.’

George Soros’ Son Gives First Interview Since Taking Over Father’s $25B Empire
Left-wing billionaire, investor and philanthropist George Soros, 92, is reportedly handing the reins of his $25 billion empire to his younger son, 37-year-old Alexander “Alex” Soros.
“I’m more political,” Alex Soros told The Wall Street Journal in the first interview since his selection, indicating his intent on broadening his father’s liberal goals.
He reportedly plans on continue in his father’s footsteps in backing left leaning politicians.
“We think alike,” George Soros said of his son and now successor, namely on voting and abortion rights, as well as gender equity.
“As much as I would love to get money out of politics, as long as the other side is doing it, we will have to do it, too,” Alex Soros said, suggesting a significant financial role of the Soros foundation in 2024. — Resist the Mainstream
Our Take: “Old adage: like father, like son.
Alexander Soros is prepared to carry the torch into the future. George Soros’ son and protégé is self-stated to be more political than his father. Now that Alexander has taken over the Soros empire, expect him to take his left-leaning aspirations to the extreme.
Citing the article, Soros is highly concerned about President Donald J. Trump retaking the White House. He is far left on abortion, Transgender issues, and most all other woke culture rubbish you can shake a stick at. Soros has taken interest in D.A. Bragg’s case in New York, and also commented on the Documents case assigned to Florida. He means to further progress the Open Society & Soros Foundations.
This generational evil is even more concerning when his Father George is quoted as saying, ‘He's earned it’.

California Advances Bill To Help Shoplifters Steal
Shoplifting in California may get a lot easier, after the state Senate passed a controversial bill on May 31 that would make it illegal for store employees to confront thieves.
SB 553, authored by Democrat Senator David Cortese (San Jose), requires employers to maintain violent incident logs, provide active shooter and shoplifter training, and to discard policies requiring workers to confront suspected active shoplifters, the Epoch Times reports.
According to Cortese, the bill is intended to "help employers keep employees safe at work."
The bill, which passed the Senate by a vote of 29 to 8, is pending further review by state Assembly committees.
According to the California Realtors Association (CRA), the bill will apply to all industries - not just retail, if passed. CRA president and CEO Rachel Michelin told Fox2/KTVU that the bill "goes way too far."
"I think it will open the doors even wider for people to come in and steal from our stores," she said. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: “The weaponization of vice and sin is a very old and extremely effective weapon of war. It's designed to destabilize the capacity of individuals to learn the truth, understand it, and follow it, which is a requirement of coordinating social behavior to minimize right violation and maximize wealth creation. All good, fair, lawful, just, and abundant civilizations were founded on truth and cultivating it within the population. All unjust and tyrannical civilizations were founded on lies and shielded society from the truth as a means of control.
In this sense, any social group or civilization is itself predicated on the individual need for survival and thriving that is maximally achievable in group settings. Thus, when an aspect of that social group seeks to steal wealth it does not have the right to use, such individuals, such parasites must be dealt with or the entire basis of the social group is at risk. Even in tyrannical nations, only the elite and those working with them are allowed to be parasites—all others are in competition and must be extinguished.
For the shadow men, the insidious parasites that emerge in every culture to secure for themselves wealth unfairly, weaponizing theft is helpful for revolutionary campaigns designed to destabilize one power structure so another can be raised in its place after a coup has been effected.
What we're witnessing right now is the intentional erosion of stabilizing culture and values of truth-based freedom, so as to destroy the nation, so it can be conquered by subversive forces later—the communists or socialists. To do this, they need to make society dysfunctional, they need to make it hard to provide for member-citizens, so some portion of the now disgruntled member-citizens rebel and volunteer themselves as revolutionaries.
Does anything come to mind? What about inner-city environments where populations are openly marginalized in relation to labor-for-benefits received, in which the elite in the inner-city enjoy massive portions of collectively-generated wealth, while the lower class barely has enough to survive? These conditions are intentionally designed to manufacture resentment and envy for use by hidden controllers, hence the demoralized and often bitter attitude of those within cities of this sort.
Used in a country, the accumulated wealth of the nation is devalued, sold off, or abandoned. Once the revolution is over, and the lower and middle class have been thoroughly destroyed, starved, and demoralized, the ultra-wealthy parasites that orchestrated the conquest swoop in to gobble up the spoils. Case in point: China’s post cultural revolution, where the now thoroughly demoralized people are all too happy to be cogs in the machines of the industry for a pittance.
California is one of many places where this subversive campaign is being used with great effect. Eventually, the problem-reaction-solution campaign will identify the target, which is any segment of the population that is aligned with truth, morality, and principles of true prosperity, such as the rule of law.
If the target population reacts with callous indifference, then this will fuel the revolutionary attitude. If too much compassion is the response, then the vice-prone and sin-filled minds of the revolutionaries will take this as weakness and justification to steal.
A delicate balance between making a stand against immorality while issuing compassion to those who see reason is essential, similar to what we’ve seen with effective charity campaigns in the past, where religious figures like Jesus were able to provide for the disenfranchised without radicalization and in such a way that receiving such support mobilized a desire to embody spiritual values, the very values that keep a civilization free, just, and abundant.” —
White House accused of US Flag Code violation over Pride Month display
President Joe Biden’s administration is receiving backlash online over its Pride Month display at the White House on Sunday as many Twitter users are saying it violates the U.S. Flag Code.
Biden celebrated the LGBT community in a post Saturday, revealing a set of flags hanging from the White House that faced the South Lawn. The display includes a rainbow-colored Pride flag flanked by two American flags.
Twitter users argue the display violates a section of the U.S. Flag Code that mandates the American flag be in the center of any display featuring multiple national flags or pennants.
“To advance revolutionary transgender agenda targeting children, Biden violates basic tenet of US Flag Code and disrespects every American service member buried under its colors,” wrote Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. — WFIN
Our Take: "This Wednesday is Flag Day, and Joe Biden issued a proclamation over the weekend where he claimed that, 'Old Glory stands for hope, pride, and progress.' The proclamation came one day before Biden violated the US Flag Code, which reads: 'The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.'
At the Biden Administration's 'pride celebration' this weekend, the government violated the US flag code by hanging, from the White House, a centered rainbow flag flanked by two American flags. CannCon had the appropriate take on Saturday, when he posted to Twitter in response, 'This is a disgrace. The US flag DOES NOT FLANK *ANY* FLAG. Especially not on OUR White House.' While this article says that 'Twitter users' responded, a quick glance will show that the majority of outrage came from US active duty military and veterans — those for whom the American Flag is most sacred.
Perhaps more egregious than the so-called President violating the US Flag Code are his remarks during the event, 'We’re the only nation that is founded on an idea — not geography, not religion, and not ethnicity — that all men and women are created equal, endowed by their Creator, et cetera.' He stopped short of saying, 'You know, the thing.'
The event was made possible by the Gill Foundation, chaired by Tim Gill whose husband (and Gill Foundation Co Chair Emeritus) is Biden's ambassador to Switzerland. You know, the epicenter of globalism that houses Davos and Geneva. The Gill family did not attend the celebration. 'I also want to thank two people who couldn’t be here but who made this possible: My dear friend Tim Gill and his husband Scott Miller, who is doing a terrific job as my Ambassador to Switzerland.'
In Tucker's second Twitter show last week, he talked about 'taboos' and their role in civilized society. He talked about the changing and rejection of taboos as a mechanism to fundamentally transform national culture. What a timely show topic. This violation of the US Flag Code — at the White House in the nation's capitol — is further escalation of the degradation of American culture and values.
As sexual debauchery floods the streets around the country in 'pride parades' — and floods my Twitter feed ... seriously, stop sharing this garbage — you might think the rainbow coalition is going to settle down at the end of June. But that's just hopium which Biden made abundantly clear: 'And to all — to all of you: Happy Pride Month. Happy Pride year. Happy Pride life.” —
