Trump To Endorse Jordan For Speaker
Former President Donald Trump will attend a GOP closed candidate House forum next Tuesday, where Republicans will discuss potential nominees to replace Kevin McCarthy (R-CA).
[…]
After teasing himself for Speaker of the House following Rep. Kevin McCarthy's extremely short tenure, former President Donald Trump will endorse Rep. Jim Jordan's bid.
"Just had a great conversation with President Trump about the Speaker’s race," Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) posted on X, adding "He is endorsing Jim Jordan, and I believe Congress should listen to the leader of our party. I fully support Jim Jordan for Speaker of the House."
Jordan currently chairs the House Judiciary Committee, as well as the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of Federal Government. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: “You have to wonder if this was intentional.
Many people have talked about Trump possibly taking the role of Speaker of the House, most notably—Steve Bannon. If he did, the power he could wield for the country is arguably more than if he was POTUS.
There is significant push back against the idea of Trump becoming speaker, which is probably one of the benefits of the whole affair because it exposes the DS sleepers in Congress. Whether this was planned or not, is unclear, but, invoking 5D Chess skills, it’s hardly out of the realm of possibility that Trump et al wanted this to happen.
What’s the benefit?
Bear in mind that Trump and what he represents (America First Populism and a return of the True Rule of Law) is a clear and present threat to the powers that be and nearly all their agendas, including the ones that seem innocuous.
Pre 2016, the hijacked GOP, the RINOs, were hidden in tall grasses, always causing problems for the America First agenda. Prior to Trump’s 2016 win, the America First agenda, if it existed at all in the halls of the US Congress, was on life support. But since Trump entered politics in 2016, his agenda has acted as a kind of political X-Ray device—cutting through the fakeness of RINOs to expose them as the globalist assets that they are.
In effect, the mere mention of Trump, and most importantly, what he stands for, is enough to expose the RINOs.
These same RINOs held back Trump’s first administration and have subsequently derailed the House GOP majority.
In my view, every other objective that could be imagined is secondary to exposing the breach of trust and contract of the political establishment. In line with this, the upset we’re hearing about regarding Gaetz and the ousting of McCarthy is related to, given the primary objective I just outlined, about small potato issues.
The Trojan Horse MO of the globalists is to drip out a few concessions to the people, making us believe we have to go along with the current trend in Congress to get those small concessions—even mean catastrophic ideological compromises (gay marriage anyone?).
We’re meant to feel good about Roe v Wade coming down, defunding Ukraine, and various other issues—that are, to be sure important—but in the face of widespread and industrialized deceit, breach of trust, and malfeasance from nearly every faucet of the political establishment, these are nothing.
For my part, I think the lack of progress in these smaller areas is worth it if the greater goal of ending the longstanding corruption machine is successful. I believe this is, and has been, Trump’s goal all along.
And while all this is happening, Trump and what he represents continues to be center stage of the news cycle—itself a key weapon in the information war.” —
Donald Trump Followers Targeted by FBI as 2024 Election Nears
The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump's army of MAGA followers.
The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current "anti-government" investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.
"The FBI is in an almost impossible position," says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.
"Especially at a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has 'weaponized' the Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully," says the official. — Newsweek
Our Take: “As the regime subsidizes first responders, farmers and small business owners in Ukraine, in America, they’ve escalated their war against America First voters.
Tell me more about how the weaponization of law enforcement is a conspiracy theory.
We know from FBI whistleblower testimony that the single event of J6 was used to open hundreds of separate investigations all over the nation — to lay the groundwork for MAGA as a new category of ‘domestic violent extremism (DVE).’ We know that FBI agents have tracked the license plates of parents at school board meetings, locked up pro-life advocates, and prosecuted too many speech crimes to count.
Now we learn that they’ve categorized us.
I’m wondering about their database and tracking activities, what kind of records exist, and whether they’re using that data to get surveillance warrants on their political opponents. Worse, I’m wondering if they actually believe they need surveillance warrants, or if being MAGA now amounts to probable cause.
This is Soviet-level stuff, and it is entirely incompatible with the US constitution and the government limitations enshrined in the Bill of Rights.
The Biden-Garland DOJ is so far outside its mandate that many are wondering if it will ever be reigned in, or if Big Brother needs a lobotomy. I think all efforts at reform to date have proved the latter but, with rigged selections instead of elections, that outcome seems out of reach. That is, those with the power to lobotomize the American KGB are invested in its success, and they are all too happy to wield its power against their political opponents.
Politicians won’t vote against their own self interest, which is why their allowable scope was so limited by the Framers. We need to get back to that. And soon.” —
Putin On Prigozhin Death: Wagner Leaders Got Drunk, High, & Played With Grenades Aboard Plane
President Vladimir Putin just floated the most interesting - and let's say, colorful - theory to date on why Yevgeny Prigozhin's plane went down outside Moscow on August 23. While much of Western reporting and even Russian media itself have described the Wagner chief's death as due to either an anti-air missile or a planted bomb being detonated, Putin told an annual meeting of the Valdai Club in Sochi on Thursday that Prigozhin and his men likely got drunk or possibly high, and were playing with grenades.
Bloomberg, which picked up on the unexpected public comments, wrote: "Russian President Vladimir Putin said pieces of grenade were found in the bodies of Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin and other mercenary leaders who died in a plane crash, as he hinted that the man who led an armed revolt against the Kremlin’s military leadership had been a drug user." — ZeroHedge

Our Take: “Vladimir Putin appears to be fully aboard the 'Everything is Fake and Awesome' train.
Alongside Donald Trump, the Russian leader appears to be getting a bit more overt with his winks and nods as to the War of Stories some of us believe we're in the midst of.
Fifth-Generation Warfare is, by definition war for control of the Collective Mind, because with that Collective Mind comes Mandate, and all leaders require public buy-in to lead, or the illusion of it.
While the Deep State has used PsyOps to terrorize, confuse and therefore paralyze the people for generations, patriots are reverse engineering these tactics in order to slowly, but surely awaken as many up to the truth as they can.
Exposure of our true enemies is perhaps the most vital piece of the puzzle, but trollish comments like this, much like Trump's allusions to the Biden Admin as his 'Second Admin,' map cleanly onto the idea of a Sovereign Alliance.
More importantly ... that said Sovereign Alliance is winning.
Bigly.” —
Ukraine is ‘freaking out’ as McCarthy chaos threatens US aid
After a year and a half of war, Ukraine’s leaders now have a new reason to worry: Mounting political chaos in America is threatening to derail their supply of money and weapons.
Days after lawmakers shelved a vital U.S. plan to send billions of dollars in aid to Kyiv, U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy was ousted by his own Republican Party colleagues. Aid to Ukraine was named as one of the reasons.
In Kyiv, officials are at a loss as to what might happen next. Their staunchest military ally suddenly looks unreliable, despite assurances from President Biden and others the U.S. will remain steadfast until Ukraine’s invaders are defeated.
“We are freaking out. For us it is a disaster,” said Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze, a senior Ukrainian MP who chairs the committee on the country’s integration with the European Union. “We are interested in getting things sorted out so American democracy can function, and so we can restore the bipartisan consensus on supporting their own national interest by supporting Ukraine.”
The hiccup in America comes amid a war that is finely balanced and as some European leaders increasingly are willing to criticize Kyiv and argue against ongoing support for Ukraine. — Politico
Our Take: “Hey, remember when Biden said they fired a corrupt prosecutor and, instead, put in someone who was ‘solid?’ It’s unfortunate that he’s never had to answer questions about that from the herd of news reporters that follows him around. Especially now.
The most interesting line in this piece to me is, ‘We have to go through these 45 days without a major corruption scandal.’
It’s like cleaning the house and hiding the kegerator because your parents are coming to visit, and you need to convince them that college really is a good investment.
Everyone knows that Ukraine is the capitol of global money-laundering. From the billions spent via Biden’s blank check for the really super real war to the bipartisan and much-lauded ‘philanthropic’ actions of SBF, openly stating that Ukraine needs to be on its best behavior for 45 days is a slap in the face to those who are going broke funding it.
Not a single penny should go to Ukraine — or, in my view, to any foreign nation — until our domestic crises have been mitigated. The American people are hurting, and too many in power are fine with that — as long as Ukraine gets another check.
Thankfully, they aren’t smart enough to keep their priorities to themselves, and we can now easily identify the America Last politicians. Don’t forget when any politician that prioritizes Ukraine over America goes up for reelection. They count on you forgetting.” —

Zelensky Admits 'War Fatigue' As Unified Support From West Falls Apart
There's clearly been a Ukraine war narrative shift among media and pundits in the West, as we've been covering, but for the first time this week President Zelensky himself has admitted that "fatigue" is setting in more broadly amid the war effort. This is leading Western advisers and military strategists to float 'solutions' toward winding down the conflict:
According to Teona Lavrelashvili, an analyst at the European Politics Centre, they could signal that several allies are ready for a "pragmatic solution" to the end of the war,.
To recount, just over the last several days Ukraine aid was dropped from the stop-gap budget bill in US Congress, Poland declared it would cease arming Kiev amid the row over grain imports, a Moscow-friendly politician has been elected to lead Slovakia, and most recently Britain's military has said it's run out of vital arms to give Kiev.
All of this has led Zelensky to admit "There is fatigue" - but he pivoted quickly to citing a "slowly" progressing counteroffensive.
He told an Italian broadcaster in a fresh interview, "There is fatigue but we will do everything to win against our enemy, and our counter-offensive goes ahead, even if slowly we do everything to repel the enemy." And on the billions in future US aid held up and potentially canceled:
He said Ukraine felt support from the United States in "these very difficult times" and was convinced this would be the case in the future despite the delay in the approval of US financial aid due to the political bickering in Washington, DC.But Kyiv will be "worried but not panicking" by the growing sense that some traditional allies have "fallen out of step", said Sean Hanley, an associate professor in Comparative Central and East European Politics at University College London. — ZeroHedge
SEC sues to force Elon Musk to testify in Twitter probe
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission sued Elon Musk on Thursday in an effort to compel the billionaire to testify over his purchase of Twitter last year.
Attorneys representing the SEC alleged in a legal filing released in the Northern District of California that Musk failed to appear for a Sept. 15 testimony as required by a subpoena, which the attorneys said was served to the Tesla CEO in May 2023.
Broadly, the SEC said the investigation is tied to whether anyone committed securities fraud in purchasing Twitter shares last year as Musk was buying stock in the company. Musk closed his acquisition of Twitter, now known as X, in October in a deal worth roughly $44 billion.
“Musk’s ongoing refusal to comply with the SEC’s administrative subpoena is hindering and delaying the SEC staff’s investigation to determine whether violations of the federal securities laws have occurred,” the attorneys wrote. “Accordingly, the SEC now asks the Court to compel Musk to appear for investigative testimony.”
The SEC said it tried to find an agreeable time and place to meet with Musk, including offering to meet him at the agency’s office in Fort Worth, Texas, “the closest SEC office to Musk’s current personal residence” in the Austin area. Multiple dates were proposed for October and November of this year.
“These good faith efforts were met with Musk’s blanket refusal to appear for testimony,” the suit says. — CNBC
Nancy Pelosi Evicted From Her Private Office By Acting House Speaker
Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) ordered Democrats who recently left leadership positions to vacate their private offices in the U.S. Capitol shortly after becoming acting speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Mr. McHenry ordered Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who was speaker until January, to vacate her hideaway office, Ms. Pelosi said.
“One of the first actions taken by the new speaker pro tempore was to order me to immediately vacate my office in the Capitol,” she said in a statement.
“Sadly, because I am in California to mourn the loss of and pay tribute to my dear friend Dianne Feinstein, I am unable to retrieve my belongings at this time."
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) died on Sept. 29 at age 90.Ms. Pelosi said that the eviction was "a sharp departure from tradition," referencing that she allowed former Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) to keep his private office "for as long as he wished."
According to reports, an email from Mr. McHenry's office to Ms. Pelosi states that he was going to reassign the hideaway "for speaker office use."
"Please vacate the space tomorrow," the email reportedly reads.
Ms. Pelosi said, “Office space doesn’t matter to me, but it seems to be important to them. Now that the new Republican leadership has settled this important matter, let’s hope they get to work on what’s truly important for the American people.” — The Epoch Times
We hope you enjoyed this brief look back at the major news items you might have missed in this ever-escalating and ever-accelerating news cycle as the Information War continues to rage on around us.
The Badlands Media team will continue to combine our cognitive powers in order to slow things down and find the signal amidst the noise as this series expands.
As always, if you have any thoughts on these news items or the MANY others swirling in the digital ether, drop into the comments below to share them with your fellow Badlanders.
1. I believe Jordan is compromised (and I suspect it happened after the strange highway death of a family member) by the Black Mail Industrial complex. Since then, he “says” all the right things and gives great performance theater in his committee roles, but don’t confuse activity with accomplishment. Where are the subpoenas and/or charges? Lots of smoke, no fire.
2. No one should be surprised about our FBI/Stasi targeting Trump supporters. This step is the logical extension of the plans set in motion with the J6 Fedsurrection. Psychopaths ALWAYS tell you what they intend to do, if you will only listen and believe them when they say it. They’ve war gamed the lawfare campaign against Trump, predicted possible outcomes, know what actions they intend to take, and therefore MUST set a predicate to use police powers against Trump supporters given what they know will happen in the future.
3. That no Republican in any position of power is doing anything concrete - like defunding, new legislation, or seeking court injunctions against it - to stop this targeting and weaponization of federal law enforcement tells you there is truly only the UNI-PARTY, with 2 make believe “wings,” both of which want absolutely the same thing- tyranny.
4. Anyone who hasn’t figured out that our elected representatives have zero interest in what happens to Ukraine or the Ukrainian people, and are only interested in continuing the greatest money laundering scam in history, just isn’t paying attention. No one with a modicum of common sense and empathy for their countrymen can look at the southern border, the billions spent to house, feed, transport and care for illegals, the inflation wipeout, the fentanyl genocide, the cost of energy, and the trillions in debt, and think, “Gosh, we need to send another $200 billion to Ukraine”unless they are getting filthy stinking rich off the kickbacks. The level of evil malfeasance among elected officials is staggering.
Thanks y'all for another great set of Takes.
The Plan moves forward at an ever increasing speed.
I am comfyAF and am really enjoying the show.
