I enjoyed your wonderful reflections and research concerning human education. I have been teaching a long time and I've explored it all: Waldorf, Project based learning, classical, adjudicated youth, home schooling, two charter schools, and ultimately - what is available to the masses (and - the gig that pays better) PUBLIC SCHOOL! The hearts of teachers are still there but they really know not what they do (especially when society demands things like masks during the plandemic). I could talk to you for hours, days straight even - about heartache, hope, and most importantly - our children. Your conversation is what we need because it is time to combine and conquer! What is the answer? Or rather what are the solutions? My summer break is winding down - and in this my 26th year as an educator (22 in the classroom) I must always fight the good fight - and I will. The levels of deception and dis-connection are designed to sterialize the psychi, so reprogramming to Fear helps to control the masses. Stool has become more about unlearning than gaining knowledge. Thus Jim Rohn's statement from decades in the past "formal education will make you a living, self education will make you a fortune." I like to add, "and you get to define what a fortune looks like!" My personal inner celebration when I finished college: Good! Now I can learn what I want to learn. I recognized the relief to be done with “their” syllabus. It was freedom! All that mattered was Nature and country life…so much to learn and there was joy to the quiet work of learning to live a quiet life on a quiet country road.
But one day, lying on the ground beneath 3 old red pine trees, listening to the beautiful sound of wind through those trees, in a moment of honest reflection, I realized I had everything I had wanted to be happy…but I wasn’t perfectly happy…now what?
It was a shift from seeking in the outside world to finding answers within. Thus began my devotion to a spiritual path. I may not be the best most dedicated student on the path to higher frequency but I have stayed the inner course for many decades now…
Which is why all of your articles resonate, OC…I truly love reading your words and thoughts, enjoying the currents in my mind, heart, and soul!
Home schooling isn't for all, but those children have escaped much of what you write. In some places parents have replaced school boards. Some people are waking up to the old rhythms but not enough. The parents were brain washed by their own academia experience. There is hope. Bring God back into the public school and public square. Bring back the trades with training. It's on the way. Communism hit the schools of education first and infiltrated downwards since 1930. Long battle back. Thanks for your great observations.

I am confused (maybe reading this wrong) but BCE and CE are VERY recent changes (within the last 10-20 years) and not the The Enlightenment (roughly AD 1650–1800) period that your previous paragraph referred to.

It was right around the same time that "Jewish academics" in Eastern and Central Europe began "converting" to Christianity and initiated the use of the term "Judeo-Christian." This is no coincidence. To hijack our consciousness, they had to hijack not only our language, but also our religion. It's all connected.
Education over the last 135 years was designed to produce working minds, not thinking minds. Industry needed more bodies than thinking minds, now the need for either will supposedly dwindle as computer chips are added to the machines humans once made themselves. Perhaps that’ll be an opening to explore and find a real educational learning experience.
I’m keeping this and sharing with several as this is absolutely what has happened over time, accelerated during my lifetime! One must return and be in tune with nature, music, etc…. God created it ALL and we have been so deceived! Thank you, OC, for sharing the awareness you’ve been gifted with!

Well written. My eyes were opened early due to obtuse physical abuse.
I observed and understood the games people played in school and in church.
The sugary sweet women in church that turned into acidic gossipers that held reign on the church steps after service was over.
The school curriculum that came with a crack across one’s knuckles if you weren’t paying attention or passing a note to a friend.
The boys in middle and high school that feigned sexual conquests on an innocent young lady that later committed suicide
Like many others I never fit in, I was the silent observer of other humans and took notice of the games people played.
Needless to say, I never fit in either. But I learned a great deal in the process of living life.
The Lord expounds us to be ‘watchmen.’ Watch. Observe. Learn. Share and prepare for the unexpected.
Most of all Pray & Get right with the One and only True GOD of this world and look to the coming of His holy son Jeseus Christ.
