I have to say, though, that current times have made me more ‘newsy’ than in the past despite my natural bent, because I’ve never personally witnessed the actual downfall of a major dynasty - only read about them in history (for whatever that’s worth!) - such as those of China over the millennia.
It reminds me of these balcony seats my wife and I were once gifted for a symphonic concert.
