The Post Secondary PSYOP
Understanding Woke Philosophy in Academia and the Path to Collective Liberation
In the heart of academia, a silent war rages on, one that the reader knows transcends mere politics and activism. It's a war for the minds of our youth, waged using a web of Marxist ideologies, often referred to as the Woke Mind Virus.
Across North America, protests verging on riots and terrorism have erupted on campuses, led by students captured by Neo-Marxist philosophy applied to the current thing: the Israel-Palestine conflict. This is occurring, even as students admit they have no idea why they’re protesting.
Recently, I had the privilege of attending a screening of "The Coddling of the American Mind" organized by the Toronto chapter of the Heterodox Academy.
Before I get into its relevance on the cognitive battlefield, I want to offer a quick note on the production side of the film and the relevance of the Heterodox Academy:
Firstly, this film represents Substack’s foray into the world of distributing documentary films and as such, it is an intriguing movement forward in the information war. As a filmmaker who has gone through the grind of trying to get a film that dissents against the mainstream distributed to the world, I can tell you that we desperately need more avenues for censorship-free distribution. Support of the arts has always been a left-wing domain, so these shifts really matter for films likely to be reframed by the MSM as “far-right extremism.”
Numerous distributors rejected my film CUT as “dangerous misinformation”, or “too controversial.” Notably, Substack’s participation in this film’s distribution was brought up by the film's animators, who were at the screening, and they confirmed that Substack is taking a minimal cut of the profits compared to other distributors.
All of this behind-the-scenes insight into the film’s distribution is a direct reflection of the ever unfolding information war. When films like this, which act as counteroffensives against deep state disinformation, are guided into the minds of the masses by free speech entities such as Substack, it’s a major step forward in the realization of the parallel economy.
Secondly, it’s important to note what the Heterodox Academy is:
“We advance the principles of open inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and constructive disagreement to improve higher education and academic research.”
As we watch the infiltration of woke philosophy in post-secondary institutions be revealed to the world, we are also watching the birth of an entirely new academic culture. Just as the COVID narrative woke the world up to a network of Globalist Elites, so has the loss of our Universities and Colleges to incoherent Marxist nonsense awakened many to the weaponization of academia.
We are in the early phases of an educational revolution, with new Universities and Colleges being developed and contemplated in response to the psychological warfare that passes for modern post-secondary education today. Much like an immune system, our academic collective is identifying the sickness and developing our capacity to defend our way of life.
Heterodox represents a crystalization of that process, which is why I was so excited to be able to attend the first Toronto-based Heterodox event. It was symbolic of the local academic class finally beginning to catch up!
Why is this academic class, which is supposedly some of our most intelligent citizens, so slow to see what is truly going on? I chalk this up to the phenomenon of cognitive entrenchment, which I wrote about extensively in How Your Western Brain Exposes You to 5G Warfare
Now, back to my experience…
My night out, surrounded by University profs, teachers assistants and students was an eye-opening experience that shed light on the profound influence of woke philosophy on young minds and the insights necessary to develop a cogent counteroffensive.
The film chronicled the journeys of college students who fell victim to the Woke Mind virus, only to emerge from its grip through resilience and self-discovery. Their stories, backed by rigorous research and compelling animations, underscored the pervasive nature of this ideological contagion.
What struck me even more profoundly were the accounts shared by university professors at the screening. They described witnessing a troubling trend: a surge in students seeking special accommodations, armed with letters demanding preferential treatment. These professors echoed what the filmmakers termed the "three great untruths": the belief that what doesn't kill you makes you weaker, the mandate to always trust one's feelings, and the notion that life is a battle between good and evil.
This awakening to the insidious influence of woke philosophy goes beyond mere observation—it's a call to action. As high-minded intellectuals begin to recognize the magnitude of the war we face, they are rallying to defend the sanctity of free thought. Organizations like the Heterodox Academy are at the forefront, challenging the status quo and championing intellectual diversity.
One such professor, Leigh Rivers, found himself embroiled in controversy for daring to explore ideas beyond the confines of political correctness. Rivers is now going viral for being chastised by the University of Toronto for encouraging diversity of opinion and thought on campus. SO DANGEROUS.
His experiment with Spectrum Street epistemology—a method aimed at fostering critical thinking—landed him in hot water with his department chair.
Rivers works at the University of Toronto teaching chemical and physical sciences, a subject that one would think should remain outside of the reaches of political correctness, period. But of course, gender theory's foray into human biology has shown that to be woefully untrue.
Many of you may have seen this activity online in which a series of lines are inscribed on the floor that represent a spectrum ranging from agreement to neutrality to disagreement. Rivers was soon in deep trouble with the chair of his department for performing this experiment. What's shocking (or not shocking depending on how used to the insanity you are) is the questions in the experiment that got him in trouble.
He began with ‘Vegetarians are morally superior to omnivores,’ for which he did not get in trouble.
But later he submitted ‘Prof. Jordan Peterson requires media training.’
Given Peterson's previous status as a U of T professor and the basic assumption that university students can handle a debate about such an important figure in Canadian history and modern discussion, it is poignantly absurd that Rivers was told by his chair, of the Physical and Chemical Sciences Department at a top-notch University, that this question was too stressful for U of T students.
He was told it was also inappropriate when he presented the claim: ‘Western science is hampered by political bias.’ He had one of his students, a Muslim woman obviously infected by the woke mind virus, openly state that it was infected by patriarchal euro-centric ideas. Understand, this is a chemical and physical sciences MAJOR who's working towards a graduate degree.
His experiment continued with: ‘There are other ways of doing science beyond the Western tradition’, also a nightmarish question according to his chair. But the worst of his crimes was asking the students to contend with the statement: ‘Men can become women.’
He was told this was a traumatic statement. He should have given trigger warnings and offered safe spaces!
He quotes his chair as saying, “We can sit here and pretend, but you and I both know that you overstepped the boundaries.” This is how subverted some of these people are. They are not only consumed by this ideology, but operate under the delusion that its principles and values are obvious to everyone else!
When he was asked what sorts of claims he should use in the future his chair literally suggested: ‘Pineapple belongs on pizza.’
Listening to Rivers speak at the screening was especially informative because he was the first Professor in the crowd who brought up the wave of students who suddenly started asking for these ‘accommodation letters.’ This was then echoed by other professors in the room, including one who used to teach at the Ontario College of Arts and Design, who explained that because it was an art school, the Woke Mind Virus had arrived there earlier and that he too had contended with a sudden spike in students submitting accommodation letters claiming that they could no longer complete assignments on time.
All of this brings us to the fact that the campuses are now being overrun by pro-Palestine protests, leading to what looks like another colour-revolution-style event across the United States. (We are approaching an election, after all…)
Rivers' ordeal sheds light on the stifling atmosphere pervading academia, where certain topics are deemed too taboo for discussion.
But Rivers' experience is just one facet of a broader phenomenon. Across North America, educators are grappling with the encroachment of woke ideology into every sphere of learning. From scientific inquiry to philosophical discourse, no subject is immune to its influence.
In fact, one of the attendees at the screening was a man doing his Master’s thesis on the infiltration of woke ideology permeating kindergarten through grade 12. I recognize that this influence is obvious to most people reading this, but there are distinct tactical and strategic advantages to this being grasped by the academic class.
Listening to this academic describe his research, his curiosity and his desire to find the truth about how deeply influenced students from kindergarten to grade 12 are by these woke philosophies is going to hurt and disrupt our enemy’s use of academia and post-secondary institutions.
Winning
Amidst this battle for young minds, there is hope. The awakening of high-minded professors and academics represents a beacon of light in the darkness. Armed with research and resolve, they are pushing back against the tide of ideological conformity. Their efforts offer a pathway to liberation—a chance to reclaim the foundations of education from the clutches of woke indoctrination.
I recently saw a video in which one of the students at a pro-Palestine protest on campus openly admitted to having no idea why they were there. They claimed they had received some propaganda telling them to come to the university to support local students in standing up for Palestine. They had no idea what the New York University had done wrong, only that they had been called to be there and to chant the correct slogans.
If this is not an example of mind control, what is?
I know that it's tempting to look at mind control from the lens of people like MK Ultra survivor Cathy O'Brien, where it was robotic and distinct. But we need to be more open to ideological subversion as a modern-day version of mind control that's much more subtle in its implementation, in that it doesn't require sexual trauma rituals or advanced neurological technology.
The foundations for such mind control were set by the rules of communist ideological subversion—namely that this be done slowly over the generations. This is a much more subversive form of mind control, and yet, it operates the same once it has been established to a certain degree. This is why the girls in the video above cannot logically justify their own behaviours—because they are not entirely their own behaviors but the result of a centralized system of mind control directing them accordingly.
What we're seeing with the Heterodox Academy, and the response from Profs. watching students march around literally mind controlled right in front of them, is the opportunity to build a better post-secondary system of education than we have ever seen, maybe even institutions that are aware of and impervious to fifth-generation warfare.
Listening to the stories of the students in the film is probably one of the most poignant sources of hope.
One of the students in particular described how her autism was reframed by neo-Marxist ideology. She explained the propaganda and the way it was functioning in her mind in great detail, describing other autistic students indoctrinating her into the idea that people who are seeking to ‘cure autism’ are ‘actually involved in an autism genocide.’
It was intriguing to see her describe the actual stages of this propaganda, bringing her to the point of claiming ‘genocide!’ It mirrored the exact same mind control tactics that are used to cause so-called ‘trans youth’ to believe that there is currently a ‘trans genocide’ underway. I experienced this phenomenon directly when shooting for my film Canada’s Red Shadow.
To be able to hold the woke ‘autistic narrative’ up next to the ‘trans narrative’ is very revealing.
The best part, however, is what I often speak to when it comes to detransitioners.
The power of students who have been traumatized by woke philosophies only to have awakened from it is an extremely important phenomenon on the cognitive battlefield.
I often speak about detransitioners in the context of Yuri Bezmenov’s ideological subversion insights from his 1984 interview.
He claimed that ideologically subverted people coming from this multi-generational influence would not be able to see that “black is black and white is white.” The detransitioners represent an exception to Bezmenov’s claim that this form of subversion was cognitively inescapable for its victims. Detransitioners represent people who were completely ideologically captured to the point that they sterilized and maimed themselves.
What’s inspiring is that this can be seen occurring with the students interviewed in the Coddling of the American Mind as well, however, their escape from the Woke Mind Virus did not require the same level of trauma as the detransitioners.
Take a moment to breathe in the cognitive implications here: stories of young minds rising up out of mind control are on the rise.
Their awakening—the process by which they saw the truth and deconstructed the woke mind control that was seeking to infiltrate their cognitio—is extremely tactical and strategic information. I would argue that the minds of these students are more precious than the minds of students who saw through the woke influence from the beginning.
Direct, empirical insights into how one escapes this influence are just straight-up fifth-generation weaponry.
Their stories are crucial because they can show other youths how to identify the woke influence on their cognition, deconstruct it, and find not only clarity of thought, but greater happiness.
All of the students in this film described being extremely depressed and unhappy while under the influence of these theories.
This is perhaps why their stories are most poignant. It's not just that they have awakened to it and are now articulate dissenters against universities being completely consumed by leftism. It's that they're happier people. They have joy and purpose. And if anything is going to invite other youths to follow them, it's joy and purpose.
Liberation requires more than mere resistance; it demands a proactive response rooted in finding happiness and meaning in the middle of a war. We must heed the lessons of those who have awoken from the grip of woke philosophy, whose stories serve as a roadmap to freedom. Their journey—from despair to clarity, from indoctrination to enlightenment—has the power to inspire our youth to dismantle the chains of ideological bondage.
As we navigate the complexities of this modern-day mind war, let us guide the disoriented youth towards their greatest weapons: not coercion or censorship, or even a political identity, but truth and reason. By fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity and open dialogue, we can inoculate future generations against the contagion of woke ideology, regardless of where political extremism is emerging.
The rise of the academic class against the implementation of a New World Order is a shift in the tide to be reckoned with. It’s tempting to dismiss the academic class as over-educated and dissociated from ‘the real lives we’re all living.’ After all, this is arguably how these institutions were compromised to begin with, they lost touch.
But this narrow-minded position would ignore the fact that ideas really do trickle from these high-minded institutions into our society at large. There is a place in our society for cutting-edge minds creating meaningful forms of progress, as long as it is not infiltrated by ideologies that crush free thought. There is a place for this trickle-down effect if our institutions become gardens of diverse opinions, including the long-lost influence of conservative-leaning academia.
In the end, the battle for young minds is far from over. But with courage, determination, and a commitment to free thought, we can emerge victorious.
Let us stand together in defence of intellectual freedom, for it is through the relentless pursuit of truth, especially through the trauma of being indoctrinated and then freed, that we will find the collective liberation that serves a great awakening.

Great post, Simon.
What is the path back for an entire generation of indoctrinated Communists? Not to mention a nation-wide educational system that needs to be rebuilt from the ground up.\
To undoctrinate these people would seem to be on the scale, duration, and expense of kidnapping/deprogramming cult members popular in previous decades - no trivial task.
Thank you for a thought-provoking article and God Bless!
Thanks Simon I am very glad to here of this movement within Academia. Everyone openly speaking the Truth will help bring about the Best That's Yet to Come all the soon.
I truly believe We the People are a vast majority and our ranks are growing daily.
The world is changing for the better and I believe we will see a very dramatic paradigm shift and things like education and medicine in the future will look nothing like we have today.
Thank you for sharing your work.
God Wins!
God Bless!!!
