I have a gas station at the end of my street. I now watch the price of gas. I haven't seen it move since this latest tiff. Which is surprising and quite encouraging. I keep waiting for it to drop again - which is hasn't yet. This lack of movement on the price, for me, gives credence to the commentary by BB.

Grants founded on REAL science AND transparency?? "Reduce funding for basic research...." Oh - you mean they won't get government money to study the feeding habits of the "said endangered insect" that no one has ever heard of? How sad. Or they won't be able to use government money to research and create more fake viruses? How crushing. I guess they will have to become REAL scientists studying REAL useful science. OR we just stop needlessly and cruelly studying things designed to kill us.

Thank you to the Badlands crew for helping me to be informed but not emotional. What a tremendous gift in these times.

I have a parttime job located next to a convenience market/gas station and do the same thing. I've observed the same thing. Every time I see a tanker pull up to reload the pumps I hope to see a price drop. The price has been the same since the beginning of this month.

@GBPH - thank you for articulating what many of us believe to be true re: israel. The Lee Harvey Oswald 2.0 CK saga is imo the biggest "tell" going on right now. Saga #2: The on-again, off-again iran war saga has become so exhausting that many of us (who seemingly know what's coming) types aren't even paying attention anymore bc no matter what appears to be happening, two days later, a new narrative is seeded. Many of us just roll our eyes and figure: oh well! I can only hope that this narrative battle fatigue is going to climax by the midterms, bc most MAGA and conservatives I engage with have become so annoyed & disenchanted by these insane, never ending, never justice fulfilled events that ignoring all news is what keeps us sane. It's beyond exhausting at this point. NCSWIC is now a seemingly butt of a joke ~ as my fav Badlands contributor: thank you for your being brave enough to tell us what we're all thinking. I pray we start to see something truly substantive by summer's end. (Unsealed indictments, arrests, raids, israel & ukraine fully exposed, NATO destroyed, why trump isn't interested in the Butler assassination anymore, who really is behind CK's assassination, etc)

God bless America 🇺🇸

Great piece. This is my theory. The British had significant ownership in the middle east for over a century(Suez Canal, Iranian oil, etc.) which they still monetize today as they manufacture nothing except debt on others. Globalists. Bank of England(City of London) Carney, Blackrock(Merz), Macron(Rothchilds)... Debtors versus economic growth.

I have little doubt they are steering Iran.

Jim Schout's avatar

I would say you are totally wrong! Your theory isn’t a damned theory. This is not a hypothetical, it is the reality. So, what we need is disclosure of truth.

So, please tell me what part of your theory is actual theory rather than known facts? Isn’t the real problem that so few know how they have been manipulated for well over a century? We must break the truth to them gently. Americans hate being duped and robbed. They tend to become unruly.

Danimal28's avatar

Lol, fine gent! I cannot prove the British are steering Irans actions against us, but it is what I believe. I think the CIA and MI6 are married and working against us.

Jim Schout's avatar

Ah ha! Good theory! The proof is in oil pricing. As BB says in his article today, the “Actuals” are in control and that is what has been needed for decades.

If a speculator can consistently find oil and produce wells that generate new oil production for between $35 and $42 per barrel, why should oil on the futures market sell for $150 per barrel? And, why should gasoline jump from $2.25 to $6.00 per gallon?

The “actual” truth is what will really bring Americans around in my opinion. So, maybe there is some theory involved, but the proof is really not complex. The City of London, the CIA and MI-6 are all in this together. It is called “Pick the American consumer’s pockets”.

The problem is we let politics confuse the economic truths. So, we have $40 Trillion in debt and no American feels the pain, but neither did the folks waltzing on the Titanic’s dance floor.

ALtab's avatar

Tying to, anyway. I suspect they have lost most of their clout at this point. The remnants are getting desperate.

Successful businessmen like Trump have a record of outfoxing the globalists and I think his four years in the 'wilderness' were Divine in what is happening today.

Joe Kronner's avatar

BB the price of oil on the "market" and the price of gas at the pump are truly a freak of nature. Every time the boogieman rattles the war chain the price of a barrel of oil jumps and immediately the price of gas at my pump goes up... It is amazing how fast they can deliver the crude, refine it and get it to the gas station in BFE eastern rural NC...YET when the price of a barrel of oil drops it takes weeks to work it's way to a reduced cost at my pump... Like I said a real freak of nature.

Trump is showing that the Emperor Has No Cloths in every facet of society. MSM = LIES consequently HISTORY = LIES.

Great work.

God Wins!

God Bless!!!

The prince of this world is the father of lies. Our prince, the prince of peace, is the word of truth & his kingdom is an eternal spiritual kingdom.

Jim Schout's avatar

Your “Freak of Nature” is real. It is a proven trait of greedy humans. Oil manipulation is just one aspect of this. Our stock market is another even bigger game. Why should the value of a steady, profitable, well managed corporation rise or fall by 3% in a single day? And, in truth it doesn’t. What varies wildly is the selling price, not the real value.

Look how many speculators make a living by creating the stories that create the confusion that justifies the manipulation. Oil is just another piece of the puzzle as is Gold and Silver. What drives all of this? The American dollar. A fiat currency is not the way to create a stable economy. The creators of our fiat currency knew that in 1913.

Joe Kronner's avatar

Justice is coming.

GregoryPravda's avatar

I sure hope so. I just wonder how deep justice will go. Money itself is a fraud. It's not money, it's currency. And only they who control assets to create credit can win at it. Everyone else loses. It's structural theft of the Commons.

Wild Bill's avatar

The reason for the movement of gasoline prices to be as you (correctly) describe is that retail prices move up on upward moves in the oil futures market, but move down as the cost of inventory in the tanks drops. This is human nature and it is based on the fear of losing money.

It is well-known that businessmen (including gas station owners) have a strong preference to not lose money. This preference is much stronger than the preference for making money. They see the futures price go up, and are afraid of selling their inventory below replacement cost. They see the sunk cost of the gas in their tanks, and are afraid of selling their inventory below their actual cost -- even if replacement cost has dropped.

I suppose you can see it as a freak of nature, but it is explained by human psychology. Fear of losing money wins over the opportunity to make money. It may be more visible with gas prices, but pretty much all businessmen see the world this way.

Joe Kronner's avatar

While that is a fine story, Trump is proving that we have enough oil to ignore the games the Ds Rat Bastards want to play. We have been lied to about everything and Trump has shown us time and again that we do not have to accept their bullshit anymore.

Wild Bill's avatar

Joe, you are right on both points; but my point has little to do with the Rat Bastards. Simply that this is the way businessmen act when setting prices. This is true not just of gasoline but most things. The behavior is seemingly irrational, but is based on actual fears and motivations of the human animal. Upside hopes take a back seat to downside fears. This is not the Demonrats fault, though they can certainly be blamed for many things...

Joe Kronner's avatar

Love the discussion WB.

At the micro a business owner (I am one) will work to their own benefit. the real issue is that on the Macro the control of the narrative (fear) gives permission to raise the price on a barrel. Trump showed that world supply was not really affected. Exposing the Big Oil evil shed the light... Trump always gives them the chance to do the right thing. If (when?) they don't they FO.

There are mountains of lies our "reality" is layer on (H.T. Chris Paul, Turtles on top of Turtles) and I believe we are on our way to eliminating them all IMHO.

Wild Bill's avatar

Trump is certainly shining light on lots of the cockroaches. The lies will succumb to the Light of Truth, as we approach the Reckoning.

👏 Ghost…I share your take on Israel as plausibly behind the Iran “assassination threat”!

“For these reasons, and many more, only a fool would rule out Israel as a suspect in any assassination attempt against President Trump.”

I certainly do not rule them out as having a hand in the C Kirk assassination either.

I see the Zionist regime as proxy for the City of London and also as a likely hidden co-conspirator with the very unhappy EU Elite.

The Zionist regime is a menace on the global stage.

Anna's avatar

As demonstrated through a series of articles on JFK, another writer has taken government evidence and pointed to Israel being behind his assassination. No president sibce has been able to counter Israel because of Dimona. Well, Iran hit the "town" of Dimona, and imo, may have significantly damaged the blackmail apparatus that has kept every sitting president since Kennedy from enforcing nuclear verification.

This proxy war runs both ways.

Recall the movie, V for Vendetta? Dream along with me. I'm not going to say it out loud. That's the source of the war drums.

Featherjourney's avatar

Well said!

In philosophical terms (h/t BB)

“Once you see the way broadly, you can see it in all things”

The mainstream media with their everyday sensational headlines composed of quarter truths and half truths, using emotion like a containment tool restricting vision, to never see the way broadly…reminds me of one of my favorite lines: “A crack is how the Light gets in” (R.I.P. Leonard Cohen)

And the Light is expanding context beyond manipulated content…seeing the way broadly. The world has one enemy: The City of London and the British Imperial Empire…of which Israel is their puppet.

❤️🇺🇸🕊🌟

Wild Bill's avatar

That quote is from Miyamoto Musashi (c. 1584 – 1645), legendary Japanese swordsman, one of BB's inspirations. Musashi was undefeated in over 60 duels.

And yes, Israel was created by and is still the puppet of the Cabal. Modern Iran, since the installation of the Shah in (IIRC) 1953, is also a creation of the Cabal. Jury is still out on who controls Iran today; they have been much closer with Russia and China lately than the West, which implies to me that the Cabal has lost Iran.

But the Iranians are not stupid -- they may very well be playing the Cabal off against the Sovereign Alliance, trying to get the best deal they can.

Featherjourney's avatar

I referenced the quote to Musashi in a different comment, but Thanks for adding it here!

It is a true gem of wisdom and comes to mind often in spiritual insight

I used to trade crude oil on the futures market. The fact that traders didn't blink an eye and publicly stated that the on-again 'war' with a headless Iran did not affect supply and delivery suggests that oil will be less volatile as time goes on. Don't expect the gouging to stop though. The oil cartel, like the beef cartel, like the chicken and egg cartel, like the sick care cartel, like the H1-B cartel would like nothing better than to see the world suffer, while they exploit third world countries to fight a war against the West, that they are so narcissistic that they wouldn't think of dirtying their suits. Meanwhile, illegal immigrants, radical Islamists, and young socialists continue to be cannon fodder for these said suit wearing globalists. When they have destroyed the infrastructure, the socialists, illegals and radical Islamists are destroyed like all of us other useless eaters. As much damage as the radical Islamists and illegal immigrants have caused, my anger is not against them.

It is against these suit wearing thugs who think we are dogs: give us a bone and we will go back to sitting in a corner chewing on something dead, contented. However, even dogs have limits to this kind of treatment. Eventually they want real food instead of a pacifier. And if they have teeth, they will get it and if hungry enough, will choose your hand or calf. Although the President through his Pappy Trumpo account is sarcastic and sometimes offensive, I can't help but laugh at the memes. Bedides being funny, they are informative and hint at what's going on.

I think today's brief is one of the better ones, because it had what I consider good news; we must brace ourselves and ask the Spirit for discernment as I expect what's left of the intelligence agencies to turn on their gaslighting on steroid machine to turn us against Trump. What if near the actual end game, Iran's propaganda machine is turned against Israel? And our warmongers? Their machine puts MSM to shame and would be delightful to see this machine gaslight the warmongers, Israel and our Congress. What if they expose who the radical Islamists are, that they aren't Muslims? Reading the Quran doesn't make one a Muslim, any more than reading the Bible makes one a Christian. Even Satan reads the Bible. I still think that this on-again, off-again kayfabe with Iran is staged for Iran to do something that President Trump, for optics reasons can't do: accuse Congress of being traitors and full of Zionists using Israel as their useful idiot.

Jim Schout's avatar

Eileen, since you were into the oil futures market, what do you think will happen to that market if Iran is out of the picture and the Strait of Hormuz is kept open? My point is, where is the validity of the oil futures market if there are no real risk other than the future cost of finding more oil?

It seems to me that all futures markets rely on potential catastrophes. So, the media’s job is to continually create those possibilities to stir the pot. The MSM has used the threat of Nuclear against us since 1945! They persuaded us to abandon Nuclear power and buy into their New Green Deal using the potential catastrophe that has never come.

Isn’t Trump actually exposing our vulnerability to fake threats. Look at Iran. Were they really a threat or just a paper tiger?

eileen's avatar

There is a relationship between the futures market price and the price we see, but it is opaque and not all spikes in the futures market results in increases in pump prices. Obama said that the oil traders are the ones setting the price of oil; well he was half right. The are the pawns. The prices are set by the City of London and up until Trump broke Lloyds of London, that was true. They (the globalist bankers) wanted to force oil commercial traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, so they went on a campaign to close down all oil refineries everywhere but the Middle East or other controlled puppets like Venezuela. That is why the Keystone Pipeline, even the Alberta section of it was never opened until Trump came along. And then destabilize the Middle East so there would ALWAYS be an oil crisis.

Whether you believe the war in Iran is real or not, (I, for one, find it interesting that nothing of importance is destroyed, in these tit-for-tat missile strikes unless initiated by Israel, whom I believed destroyed Kuwait's desalinization plant) the world believes that it is real. Trump's goal was first to convince the world that the Stait of Hormuz was not important to oil supply and second to decouple pump prices from the futures market. When I saw the futures market spike, but veteran oil traders saying ho hum, the supply of oil will continue, it looks like Trump has successfully done the second. By doing so, he severs the futures market (at least in crude) from the City of London. Once pump prices start responding to the actual supply and demand of oil, people will be convinced that the Strait of Hormuz doesn't mean anything domestically (it doesn't, which is why I insist we are being gouged) The true price of oil is not on the futures market, but in companies like Southwest Airlines, who use massive amounts of oil and in fact, has their own trading desk.

The Keystone Pipeline will create an interesting string of events in Canada, if Alberta decides to go its own way. I have no idea at this point that if they succeed in breaking away from Canada, whether they become a state or not. It doesn't really matter. Ottawa can't survive without Alberta.

Lone Star exile's avatar

Eileen, whether you are 100% correct or not, your analyses are incredibly valuable and timely. Thank you...

Jim Schout's avatar

Thank you! That is a very important perspective. I thought the key was the 20% of oil coming to the market, but that really affects China greatly since 80% of the 20% goes there.

JC's avatar

Carney is on a tear recently about oil pipelines and the like, finally suggesting they will build (15 years too late) the east and west links across Canada. There are succession questions to be decided this year, either on the ballot or off it, per court battles, however if someone thinks those pipelines will go anywhere once the courts get involved I have a few bridges for their investment.

And yet the US needs Canadian oil (thanks to refinery setups), while routing its fuel up from those same refineries, and Carney is campaigning for a CAN-EU coalition. Dangerous game.

From Potus:

I will not sign the Housing Bill, which has been fully approved by Congress and sent to the White House, in PROTEST over the fact that the United States Senate is not capable of passing THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, which is polling at 97% with the Republican Party, and very high with the non-politician Dumocrats. The Act states, quite simply, that to Vote a person must show PHOTO VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE CROOKED, CORRUPT, & DESTABILIZING MAIL-IN BALLOTS (EXCEPTIONS for Military, Disabled, Illness, and Travel!). THE SAVE AMERICA ACT’S non-passage is CRAZY, and a serious threat to any politician who votes against it! If the Dumocrats, or any RINO (or worse!) working with them, do not allow a positive Vote on SAVE AMERICA, TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, and pass this, and every other Bill that true Republicans have ever dreamt of (In addition to the upcoming Budget BOMB and the 1929 catastrophic style DEBT CEILING BILL!). The Dumocrats will TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, if and when they ever get the chance to do so, in their very first hour - And I will no longer be able to call them Dumocrats again! The title of DUMB will revert to the Republicans who allowed this horrible calamity to happen to our Party, and our Nation, itself! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP

EVERY US HOSPITAL SYSTEM, especially IU Health in Indiana, and surrounding states, should be investigated. The number of nurses that are barely understandable and are hired in at beginning nurses pay or lower and signed to a 2/3 year contract are unbelievable. Patients cannot understand them and have no recourse. It is horrible and continues to get worse. Walk around the hospitals and you'll totally understand what I'm saying.

When considering the elements of an Israel-driven anti-Turkiye coalition, don't forget Armenia. Israel recently recognized the Armenian genocide, and would profit (in various ways) from closer defense and basing ostensibly versus Iran but also threatening the east of Anatolia. In other words, a diamond shape instead of a triangle.
