It has created a new division in us, the haves and the have nots. Our youth have given up and are embracing the Communism that we have allowed to corrupt our system from within.
But on the other side we have the Capitalist society that has been successful even with the Communism growing inside of America. These Capitalists are the “haves” that the youth are turning against. So, a house divided cannot stand. Do we see the house? Can we spot the division?

Was this poll put out to put more pressure on Sen Thune? Was it even real in that the pollster organizer contacted people (summer polls lean heavily Democrat historically) and did the number crunching. Amazon deliveries are almost as common as the everyday post office delivery and the drivers leaving pkgs at our door (usually handed off) are not white but are always kind, smiling, happy and conscientious. A young Hispanic guy delivered an air conditioner. It was heavy and he offered to bring it in the house…we looked for a place to set it down and I mentioned it was going upstairs. He said he’d be happy to take it up the stairs for us and he did. When we gave him a tip he seemed surprised - he was just doing it out of the goodness of his heart.
We hear about how amazon doesn’t treat their workers so great, but that hasn’t affected their work ethic or how they treat people they encounter in their day.

It has nothing to do with Trump -- it is oil companies. If you can get them on one small thing, that opens the door to the next small thing. There is no reason why we are required to give up our opinions to appease the opinions of others. Having said that, I live in an area that is seeing an increase in Hispanic population. I live in a predominantly white rural town. Amazon deliveries are almost as common as the everyday post office delivery and the drivers leaving pkgs at our door (usually handed off) are not white but are always kind, smiling, happy and conscientious. A young Hispanic guy delivered an air conditioner. It was heavy and he offered to bring it in the house…we looked for a place to set it down and I mentioned it was going upstairs. He said he’d be happy to take it up the stairs for us and he did. When we gave him a tip he seemed surprised - he was just doing it out of the goodness of his heart.
We hear about how amazon doesn’t treat their workers so great, but that hasn’t affected their work ethic or how they treat people they encounter in their day.

This is very funny. John Rosemond is my closest personal friend and we love talking politics. He is a fascinating person and is famous for his attack on his fellow psychologists. He thinks the whole thing is a scam and believes that group is basically the reason our youth is so messed up.
I will share more of our discussions now that I know some of you appreciate his writings. His thoughts fit our perspectives closely.
I can say that my experience with Amazon delivery is similar. I always leave positive feedback, unless the driver takes it to the wrong address. When I do have one on one encounters, they are great!
Two different times last winter, the drivers got stuck in our driveway, in a snow bank with a slight downhill slant. Both were young guys, one Indian and one Black (very handsome with beautiful eyes!). I lugged out sand and 2 shovels. We worked together. Both took about 20 minutes to get free. Each young man was so thankful for the help. I’ve seen each one again a few times and they act like we’re old friends. So nice!

One thing I am going to look at for signal is the Vuelta a Espana. Not sure the revenue to Spain with this event, but the TV coverage across Europe and the US is notable. (for those that like professional cycling). What are they going to do now that the country is getting hit with large numbers of immigrants. Spain is a large enough country that the organizers can re-route the stages to avoid issues. But still, the timing of this with one of the grand tours is notable.

My town with challenging mountain roads was always part of the route for the yearly Longsjo Classic bicycle race, the event ran for 60 years before officially retiring in March 2020…another covid casualty!!

It was! I hung out on our common a few times to watch them race through. I was always amazed at how close to each other they were…it was like a cloud passing through! And then cheering on the next wave…each wave got smaller! Always admired the ones at the end for sticking with it, even if they come in last. Must be great fun to be in such awesome shape.
