Europe's leadership today resembles the clueless heirs who inherited Jed Starnes' 𝙏𝙬𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙮 𝙈𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙧 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮* - raised in unearned luxury, ignorant of the hard work and careful planning that created their ease, and ultimately unqualified to maintain it. As in Starnesville, economic devastation followed and spread far and wide.

Burning Bright's avatar

Europe's people probably fit this description.

When it comes to the leadership, I think they know exactly what they're inherited ... and what's at risk.

Gary's avatar

That's reasonable, though I think the leadership's appreciation of their heritage falls into range of Oscar Wilde's quote about "people [who] know the price of everything and the value of nothing."

Thanks Badlands!

Limited resources demand prioritization.

Limited resources determine values - in both an economic and sociological sense.

The limits on resources should never come as a shock...and yet...

It seems that the choice to refuse to prioritize is not just a "middle class" problem (as last month's personal debt to GDP showed)! That it (ignoring the limits) is, in fact, the common theme of today's articles should help us in our own prioritization of our own limited resources!

Again: Thanks Badlands!

The day Hillary lost was a monumental turning point on the world stage. We sensed it without fully understanding the Dark Age the global elite had pulled off. Now a decade later we have emerged from the manufactured illusion of control.

Justice according to the rule of Law will be the education that unites. Exposing the psychological war of deception is taking center stage.

It's useful to observe in hindsight how surprising Trump's victory was... to Trump. He clearly, in those initial moments, did not expect it; and further, as he went into transition, he did not understand what exactly he was doing and certainly not the depth to which the opponents of the American people would go to kneecap him.

Trump did not, in McCain's words "belong to any of the secret societies." He had rubbed against members of said societies. He may have even shared some interests, but was not adequately controlled and, importantly, unwilling to BE controlled in the usual ways that had been affected to reduce past presidents to asking for permission to use the bathroom.

Even so, had the State been willing to play along, accept a bit of a setback in a few areas to let Trump chew on them while advancing others, he might have ended his first term as ineffectual as others. Instead, they would not give an inch... as if somehow Trump's existence was an affront to be purged with fire and they were so, so desperately short of time.

You saw it again when Russia checked them in Ukraine. Putin was supposed to feed bits of investments to the Donbas militias while they got smashed flat by the shiny Ukrainian army, not ACTUALLY invade! Ukraine was to make a NATO lake of the Black Sea, invite British basing, and American air-defense/ground-attack missiles, and then the 5th-column in Russian society could topple the Putler affront to Rothschild investments while Europe sucked from the teat of excellent energy contract terms and wrote ESG into every banking agreement worldwide.

You know something has gone horribly wrong when the media and political figures turn as one and howl like Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

And now what are they going to do? Enlist Hollywood? The same whom the non-boomer public has turned their backs on? They'd do better to take a page from Iran and field a legion of meme-videos, except the Globalists are extremely unfunny and do not understand how to wage insurgent media warfare. They understand how to control limited channels their victims are forced to consume; not samizdat and free association.

Featherjourney's avatar

Well stated comment, JC!

But…

“It's useful to observe in hindsight how surprising Trump's victory was... to Trump. He clearly, in those initial moments, did not expect it”.

I remember watching Trump but what you saw as “surprise” I saw as: ‘Well, there’s no turning back now’. I have always believed the true Patriotic Military (within a year, known as Q) asked him to run. There was a Plan and Trump understood the fight…better than most of us at the time.

His endurance has been remarkable…but the road ahead when he won in 2016 must have weighed heavily on him that moment.

I agree Feather!

"I remember watching Trump but what you saw as “surprise” I saw as: ‘Well, there’s no turning back now’. I have always believed the true Patriotic Military (within a year, known as Q) asked him to run. There was a Plan and Trump understood the fight…better than most of us at the time."

When I heard that he had won in 2016, I was standing in my living room and I said "Oh no". However, as clearly as I hear anyone, God said "He is my revealer". I knew at that moment that whatever happened, God was going to use him in a mighty way.

He knew alot, experienced alot, and he has navigated not only the political world, but also the shadowy underworld. He is still standing, by the grace of God. I think there is much similarity in the way Trump's years in office (all 3 terms) have paralleled the book of Nehemiah. I need to get back into that some more.

I ran BB’s comments on “Trump’s Project Freedom Results in Monday Chaos That May or May Not Be Real” through “The Machine”, aka Grok, to get the take on it. I also added this short perspective to it, as well.

“From my perspective, the author presumes that Iran and the US are both parties to the same 5GUW war, but they are actually working in sync, both parties acting in accordance with narratives that do not line up with any actuals that are occurring.”

Here was the wrap-up “The Machine” gave me back.

“Overall, the article (and your addition) captures the shift accurately. Project Freedom isn’t about “the Iran War” as presented—it’s a 5GUW move to author the next chapter’s baseline. The war being fought is the one for control of the story, the chokepoints, and the end-state optics. Both actors are playing it at a high level, whether in opposition or unwitting alignment. The durable observer tracks the projected outcomes, not the daily fog.”

That NATO is seeking media support exposes that the cabal is down to their most subversive weapon, the OG that started it all: moving pictures. I'm not looking forward to the propaganda, but I do see this as good news in that they're running out of other ideas. Hopefully people will start putting this together.

Featherjourney's avatar

NATO using the medium of movies reminded me of something Barbara Boyd wrote recently:

“The third weapon they deployed alongside oil and offshore finance has always been propaganda directed at the American people. And it didn't start with CNN or MSNBC or Barack Obama. It started a hundred years ago, by design, as a national security project run out of London.

“The architect was Walter Lippmann. Lippmann spent World War I at Wellington House, the British psychological warfare headquarters. In 1922, he published, Public Opinion. The defining book about how, to shape it.

The American population he wrote, was, irrational. Governed by ‘pictures inside their heads.’ Truth had nothing to do with it. Governance belonged instead to a "powerful, socially superior, successful, rich, urban social set," that's a quote, and centered in London. That Elite would manufacture those pictures through the press. Lippmann called the process, Manufacturing Consent.

Everything since has been an extension of that doctrine. ”

GregoryPravda's avatar

Exactly. Edward Bernays wrote much the same thing in Crystalizing Public Opinion.

I recently watched the movie "Conspiracy Theory" again. I forgot much of the movie. However, this time watching with an "awake" understanding....good grief. The OVERT exposure of the CIA methods was disturbing. I remember thinking, when I initially watched it, that it was a caricature. Now -- I believe much of it is true. The absolute sociopathic nature of these people is truly frightening.

Now NATO is going to try to pull on over on the world about how "needed and wonderful" they are. I pray it is awful and people will see it for being awful.

ALtab's avatar

We won’t believe it, even if we deign to watch any of it.

Margot Wooster's avatar

Is that movie the one with Mel Gibson? Might be time for a re-watch.

GregoryPravda's avatar

Oh yea, it's insane how many movies expose the truth as "entertainment" and later, people deny it could possibly be real on the grounds that they saw it in a movie... it exposes a massive weakness in humanity.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

It all starts with "fairy tales" as a child. These are just made up stories. They aren't true. Then we are taught the same about movies, etc. The programming is real. I did it to my kids. Unknowingly, but I did. They are doing it to their kids. One day the truth will be the truth and we won't need to have stories and fairy tales.

GregoryPravda's avatar

EXACTLY!!! Yea once I went there Hansel and Gretel became a whole different tale of actual warning. The Brothers Grimm. Etc. This world....

Evil men plan and act together as a team. Good men are taught not to boast: be humble. Over enough time, eventually only evil men are setting the public example while good men stand down thinking it's a virtue.

God wants us all to act and be good publicly, in glory unto God, as an example for others to see and follow.

Else we're all sitting around watching stories about evil - monkey see, monkey do.

eileen's avatar

Doubt it. Americans tend to view Europeans as pretty people, a kind of fascination with their culture. The good part is that the Europeans behind this are preaching to the choir. Quite a bit of this country also regards Europe as a continent of hypocrites.

I have a question. How did America find itself with our four largest meat suppliers owned by foreign interests? Didn’t our Congress see this as it was evolving?

To me this is a national security issue. Just think about the waste these enterprises control. Most use huge amounts of water in their meat processing. So, if they choose, they can release enough pollution to devastate all downstream water plants. This can seriously harm a city’s entire population.

The story is about price fixing, but it should be about the stupidity of selling so much of our meat business to foreign interests. An even bigger story is in how and why this happened.

Congress paid for their deficit spending by exporting our middle class manufacturing jobs. The huge trade deficit created put Trillions of our dollars into foreign hands. The plan of Congress was for these foreign interests to buy Treasury Bonds to put money back in the treasury for Congress to spend without creating inflation. And, that stupid plan actually worked for many years. But, when the FED was forced to drop interest rates to about zero, foreign investors had no desire to own our treasury’s paper. Instead, they began buying key American businesses, food being the most popular because they could export it to their countries where meat was in short supply. This was a win-win. It removed meat from the markets here which created a shortage and increased the price, but it removed the shortage in their own country and made meat there less dear.

Our Congress is the problem. Their obsession with deficit spending is what is killing America. I know I am obsessed with exposing this and write about it too much, but I see examples of how it is hurting us and almost no one in America is being told by our media.

This is a perfect example. The story to them is price fixing, but that misses the entire story. They want to make business the bad guy. But the bad guys are our Congress and them! They are trying to pass the buck and divert attention.

Foreign ownership and management of American businesses must be stopped immediately. Patriot owned business is what America must have.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

Not all are owned by foreign businesses. This dairy operation is where I live. They are wanting to expand outside of Morris......AGAIN. I pray it gets shot down. I know they are a good employer. I know they treat their workers (migrants) well. I believe they work to have workers that have visas, citizenship, etc. However, this expansion is going to really damage that environment around our little town.

Riverview Dairy is a massive, multi-state agribusiness headquartered in Morris, Minnesota, operated by Riverview, LLP. Founded in 1939 by the Fehr family, the company has evolved from a small crop and beef operation into the largest dairy producer in Minnesota and a major player in the Upper Midwest and Southwest.

Key Operations and Expansion

Scale and Ownership: The company is 75% employee-owned and manages over 100,000 cows across five states: Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Major Facilities: In Arizona, Riverview operates the Coronado Dairy (formerly Faria Dairy) near Willcox, which is one of its largest sites with up to 75,000 cattle. In Minnesota, it runs multiple large-scale dairies, including the Grace Dairy and Louriston Dairy, supplying milk to cheese processors like Agropur and Valley Queen.

North Dakota Expansion: Riverview is currently proposing two mega-dairies in eastern North Dakota—a 25,000-cow facility near Hillsboro and a 12,500-cow facility near Abercrombie—which would more than quadruple the state's dairy cow population.

Controversies and Impact

Environmental Concerns: The company has faced significant opposition and legal challenges regarding its massive water usage and potential pollution of the Red River Valley aquifer, particularly in Arizona and North Dakota.

Industry Shift: Riverview’s rapid growth and industrial-scale farming have intensified debates over the consolidation of the dairy industry, with critics arguing that mega-dairies threaten the viability of small family farms.

Jim Schout's avatar

The fear is they are too successful and gain the attention of China or other holder of our trade deficit dollars. A cash offer of $Billions is very tempting. And, you no longer have the worries of running a huge farm.

Is there a military facility close by? That would certainly cement the deal for China. In my state they bought the largest pork producer because its major land holdings are in a stone’s throw from about four major military bases. China increased the hog population and our river pollution has gotten much worse. But, they export a huge amount to China. The good news is pork is still priced the same as before the purchase, but that could change.

I think the whole idea of letting these foreign interests buy our farms should be prohibited by law. But, they need to spend those trade deficit bucks somewhere. I guess buying farms is better than buying our politicians! Actually, they do both.

Bleighv05 (believe05)'s avatar

Military base in Minnesota -- no. But I am not sure about their other locations in the other 4 states. I just wish we at a place where we could have small farmers that could be successful. It is such a sad commentary on the level of greed within our country. Well, the world.

Someday -- I keep hoping for a better day............some day.

Britain/Europe... The British financial government has been at war with us since the Revolution; the War of 1812, Indian Removal Act(wool), financed the Confederacy, used the Bank of International Settlements to fund the Nazi's, opposed Bretton Woods and got Nixon to drop it in 1971 because the colonial governments currencies had lost double-digit worth...

I thought I was informed before I 'met' these promethean action folks. Wow.

https://www.prometheanaction.com/saturday-class-why-we-need-a-new-bretton-woods-system-may-2-2026/

Jim Schout's avatar

1971, when Nixon put a stop to the U.S. exchanging our Gold for foreign held dollars, started a chain reaction that moved in many different direction. Actually, FDR took Gold out of our dollar in 1933, and that also began many chain reactions with Nixon in 1971 just being one of them.

What no one reports on today is the reaction of Russia to Nixon’s stop of Gold. Russia refused to sell their oil for dollars. They demanded Gold and nothing else.

The solution came from the City of London. They agreed to take the Russian held dollars and exchange them for Gold. This opened the Russia oil to start flowing again. The City of London called these dollars “Euro dollars”. There was no EU in 1971, but the Euro dollar was invented and got Europeans thinking about a new system backed by American financial strength.

When I was reading about this in 1971 it made no sense to me. Why not just buy Russian oil with European Gold and leave us out of the equation? Why confuse this with our dollars and Nixon’s refusal to let our Gold get away from us?

Then, just a few years later, Henry Kissinger came up with the Petrodollar. Oil would be world wide negotiated in dollars, but Russia had already solved that problem in London. The rest of the world could now do the same thing and the Eurodollar gave strength to the Petrodollar. But all of these dollars were nothing but Federal Reserve Notes with pseudo-names.

Meanwhile, our Congress undertook a new plan. That was to export our middle class jobs create a demand for cheap foreign goods to hide the inflation they knew deficit spending would create. But, they also knew the worldwide demand for dollars was going to grow exponentially since the oil being bought was ultimately going to be burned up, but the dollars were not. More dollars would be needed for the next round of oil buying as the previous round of buying went into the banks in other countries as backing for their currencies.

So, here we are $38.8 Trillion in debt. Now what? Oh, let’s attack the broke system and fix it. Oil versus Gold started it, let’s put Gold back into the driver’s seat.

Hi Jim!

I have to say I’m blown away—truly impressed—by the sheer volume and depth of what I’m learning every day from reading both the main Badlanders posts and my favorite commenters!

And I want to point out that we don’t even have the chance or the pleasure of benefiting from the technical, musical, cultural, and Canadian insights of our friend Wild Bill!

[🙏🏻 to Deepl!]

Jim Schout's avatar

I miss Wild Bill. He and I acted as a tag team on technical stuff. We could build on each other’s positions. We rarely had any conflict because most engineering is based on proven science and not really controversial.

That is why “Green Science” and “Global Warming Science” is not real science. They are made up totally from ideology, not science. They are equally valid along with “Political Science”. Who came up with that crazy idea for a college level degree? I think that is what gave politicians the basic premise for Green and Warming science. Now students get degrees in those new fields of study.

Danimal28's avatar

Indeed. Nixon gave up our sovereign currency in 1971 to bail out the increasingly British Sterling and French Francs to keep their failing colonial system going.

Jim Schout's avatar

That might have been a side effect, but I remember the public reason was our Gold supplies were being depleted at an alarming rate.

If we think about, in America you could not exchange a dollar for Gold except by buying Gold on the open market. But, foreign holders of our dollars could present them to our government in exchange for Gold. Well actually they presented the dollars value and a computer moved the appropriate amount of Gold to their account. No Gold actually went anywhere. So, Ft. Knox might be filled to overflowing, but on paper it was actually empty.

Now, I am not saying it was empty, I am saying that is what accounting could have shown. Who knows what the real facts are? All we know is

Nixon reacted to a real problem in 1971 and our inflation took off on an exponential growth curve that is accelerating in addition to growing exponentially!

Today, our debt is growing at over 8% annually while our GDP is hard pressed to make 3%! That is devastating to an economy, but our media cannot seem to see it. Meanwhile, I can prove it absolutely by merely using the CBO data we pay our tax money to generate. So, our government shows us the truth annually but no one bothers to look at the data rationally.

Jim Schout's avatar

By the way, this is why it makes no sense for Trump to go to Ft. Knox to see how much Gold is there nor whether that Gold is pure or melted down Gold coins from 1933. What matters is whose name is attached to the ownership of that Gold. There is some entity whose job it is to keep up with that accounting.

The value of Ft. Knox is it is secure. The Gold inside is guaranteed to be safe no matter who holds title to it.

JC's avatar
5dEdited

As said in Die Hard 3: "Fort Knox is for tourists." It contains mostly "bad" gold bars melted from coins and not appropriate for international settlements. You are quite correct that the gold window had to be closed to stop a run--an artificial run, it's worth noting--on the US reserves. Between that run and the oil embargo crisis, there was a concerted effort to bankrupt the US (again) and force a reversion of the political control that European empires had lost in the post-war period, and as made quite clear in Eisenhower's response to the Suez Crisis.

The petrodollar was a response to the oil embargo, but officially yoked the US military to the defense of OPEC, and as such, to responding to whomever generated crises around OPEC. The "neck" to the US military and political head, so to speak. It headed off US bankruptcy by assuming the mantle of global reserve currency for trade purposes, which is a status that has ALWAYS proved detrimental in the long-run: the benefits accrue to the trading and baking few, while shortcomings fall on the people who ultimately have to pay back debt, and/or suffer through collapse following over-extension.

Another way of looking at the current Iran conflict is as a rebellion by the US (Trump administration) against that yoking of itself politically and militarily to OPEC and oil in particular. Financially, the US is limited by the Federal Reserve, which itself is run by the private banks even as the Chairman supposedly steers policy. So, while the reserve currency status functionally exports inflation to the trading world, it constrains US action and policy, while the Fed itself is a pacemaker that can stop at any moment.

*A* solution to this problem could involve breaking OPEC, destabilizing the petrodollar until it is clearly no longer the sole option, and then re-introducing private currency in competition with federal reserve notes (dollars). Initially you could back the private currency (stablecoin) against dollars, but then swap to US Treasury notes over time, thus strangling the international central banking system in its bed. Note that such a path is not feasible if the dollar looks unassailable; it has to be destabilized in the public mind for the public to hedge into alternatives.

Oh look. What is this: USD1?

This morning on a financial program I heard that Diamondback Energy reported at their annual meeting that they were accelerating production due to the high price of oil. They are producing a barrel of oil for $38/bbl. Their profit margins are out of sight!

Now, I do not own any shares of FANG, but the news is fantastic for their shareholders. What I ask is, “What makes our oil sell for over $100 per barrel”? How can that make any sense?

What this says is a gallon of oil is worth $.90 to FANG but sells for $2.42 per gallon. And gasoline is at $4.35/ gal. I think we are being fleeced, but not by Diamondback Energy. They just produce oil at a competitive price. Someone else sets the selling price for them but our laws make it illegal for them to sell below market. Our government sees selling below market to be an unfair advantage over others who are less efficient.

Look at all of our oil companies. They are making new highs daily. They cannot help it, it is the law! They cannot compete on selling gasoline either. The market sets that too. So, profits are locked in by law and the businesses benefit the most with high oil prices. The companies will suffer when Trump gets oil to new lows and so will us consumers. The high prices today will reward us in the future unless the Cabal can figure out how to stop our President.

Small note: while the 2026 NDAA does set a range of restrictions on military staffing in Europe, it does so within the "area of responsibility of the United States European Command" (USEC), which is already vast and also subject to the President deciding its borders. Technically, this means every single US soldier and USEC contractor could be relocated to Greenland. Or Turkey. Or Malta. Along with USEC property, and etc. The only thing that is forbidden, based on my read, is divesting of base facility property itself... so no giving Rammstein back to Germany or whatever, even if the only person there is the janitor.

Practically speaking, if the administration wants to re-arrange the forces in "Europe" they could literally ship them and all their stuff to Kamchatka without breaking the letter of the law.

The same goes with what was shown from its beginning, the old news broadcasting, old western movies, space movies/ programs like "my friend the Martian", Wilber the talking Horse, lil Rascal, and the B/W Loony Tunes. They all had timelines, News was the first at 5 AM, then cartoons, soap operas, and ending the day with the 5pm News, then you moved onto the Hitcock fictional science shows, and come to the midnight sign-off with our US National Anthem, and the old colored them or the snowy mix of nothing, until 5am rolled around again.

The other side of this new invention was adding the regulators of it, to the FCC that mostly covered a variety of radios, AM, FM, UHF, VHF, two-way communications called CB's (citizens band), HAM radio, and the strictly regulated 2 way radio systems that required different crystals for LEO fed/state, and utility companies. These were in the days when legislature did their own work drafting laws, unlike today, lawmakers pawn the work to private companies that is to be regulated.

Then we move into the dark side of the negative uses of the once entertainment furniture we had in our living rooms known to us as television (TV). Scientist in the name of medicine embarked on the study of how the television can be used, ...repetitiveness, indoctrination, mental program, and the study, research, and experiments ballooned beyond its original intent/use. Much of the ugliness came after WW II. Medical, and scientific research in the US were constrained by our US Constitution, the academes behaved to an extent, but they were refrained by law from using a Human being as a lab species. During WW II, Nazi Germany went all out, nothing was off limits, but many of their academic research programs weren't publicly known.

The ugly from the civil side of our eyes were difficult to comprehend of all our US troops uncovered during, and after the second world war. High command didn't try to contain what they were seeing, despite some being ordered to secrecy, they couldn't contain the ugly. Our American military were made up of mostly volunteers, ordinary Americans who had a sense of duty, and patriotism, Americans that were the bedrock of what it meant to have Bill or Rights, Oath of preserving their US Constitution, and justice. What the US military uncovered in Germany was a treasure trove to the scientific, medical research, and mechanical engineer academic community in the United States of America. 46% looked pass the ugly, and began orchestrating plans of getting many of those scientists, medical researchers, chemist, and engineers into the US, and they did. Not by legal means, but by unlawful methods, sneaking war criminal in from the back door with a lot of help from the Vatican.

Eventually, we turned a page, not for the better, but into the dark ages of the Cold War. Using many of the criminal academes from Germany, were now working alongside their academes partner who got them into the US. Many researches happened in the dark, out of sight, and out of mind. One dark scientific/medical research program they couldn't hide was, ...MK Ultra. This program was just not acceptable by our ethical researchers, there were many good ethical Americans who didn't allow humans to be used as lab subject. MK Ultra was shut down to appease the ethical groups, and quietly packed up their research to Canada. Many readers in this community know the intricacies, understanding, and the ugly outcome of the MK Ultra program. The public outcry of disgust eventually caused the Canadian leadership to shut down that program.

Coming full circle of Past, Present, and Future. What was hidden is now seen, how each past fits into the present, and the direction it takes us has become clearer. Arrest of the narco terrorist is not just about drugs, but attached to it is a string of roots, that has been pulled up from EU (Germany, UK), Vatican, Israel, Brazil, Columbia, Mexico, Canada, and all that has happened along the way. The trail of then OSS, CIA, and it co partners MI6 & Mossad have been right next door to the south, drugs have been the primary source of their black budget, the hidden hand used them to the greatest extent ever imagined. Yes, Justice has made its appearance. I just don't think many don't quiet have the stomach for what they are about see, and hear. NBK
