My music history class never delved into the political aspects of music evolution like this. The only thing I remember regarding control was the church forbidding the use of the interval from C to F sharp. That was early on, centuries ago. That has since changed, but music and composers were supported and funded by the church and the monarchies the church controlled.
I listened to the the first few minutes of Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. One conducted by Toscanini, the other conducted by Furtwängler. It only took a moment for me to hear the difference between the two conductors and their respective orchestras to understand the difference. Furtwängler was brighter, more alive than the Toscanini recording.
Recall that Frederick the Great, from the Prussia series, invited Bach to perform at his palace. Bach was one of the greatest composers prior to the greats like Mozart and Beethoven, who were certainly influenced by Bach. The Saturday class did not mention Bach, so perhaps the fascist influence had not yet begun. This is a series I am excited to follow, and additional research and exploration is needed. If we watch the Badlands Blitz from Saturday we can see a very interesting chart showing many countries and their GDP. The right side of that chart goes one step farther and divides that overall GDP by the population. To me, this is something all of us need to look at because I think it tells us a much needed story. The chart comes around minute 43.
China has a GDP per capita of $14,400 and Russia’s number is $18,500. Meanwhile America is at $94,400! This tells me our economy is trouncing them beyond reason. We are so much more productive that our competitors need to catch up to be true competition.
But here is some bad news. We need to see a chart of National Debt per capita. That might sober us up if someone were to publish it. For instance, in America our debt per capita is $114,000. Oops. Our debt is $20,000 per capita more than our GDP per capita. In fact, it is 1.21 :1 times greater. In China the debt to GDP ratio is 0.37:1 and in Russia it is 0.15:1.
America’s government has buried us in debt, and no one seems to even notice. This is what our President is correcting in my opinion, and it is about time we addressed the real problem. Did you know you owe $114,000, or a family of four owes $456,000?
A better question is, “What is Washington proposing to do to reduce your debt?” All I ever see is them voting to increase the debt limit or spending money to deplete the surplus they created the last time they raised their own debt limit.
Do you see the problem? Our Congress has manipulated our system to put the citizen in debt while the citizens never feel that debt personally. On average, America is bankrupt, but we are the largest economy in the world, on paper. And, we appear to be the most prosperous! We have excellent credit!
I am reminded of the Titanic in 1912. Full speed ahead is not a good idea. Changing course is needed ASAP or cut the engines. Or engine is our Congress and it is pushing us very quickly toward a catastrophe. And, I see no plans to change course or to slow down.

The key point here is the market cap of NVIDIA is meaningless compared to the GDP of a country. Yes, the comparison is very interesting, but the GDP of Germany is real and the Market Cap of a business is imaginary. The Market Cap is calculated by multiplying the stock price right now by the number of shares outstanding. But, in reality the price right now is based upon the market’s opinion of what the future earnings of the business will generate over time brought back to a present value. It is impossible to lay your hands on that market cap unless you could sell all of the shares right now.
Five years from now the value of NVIDIA could be zero. The value today is based on the opinion of investors and the expected evolution of AI technology. But, five years from now I think Germany will still be a valid country. So, Jim, what the Hell is your point?
Our Corporations are our solution, not our enemy. That future compound growth we see in the present value of NVIDIA is what will pay off our national debt if America stops going bankrupt faster than our government can take us down. NVIDIA’s value is growing at over 30% per year because their earning power is growing at that rate. Other corporations are growing much faster than our debt’s compound rate growth of 8% while our country’s GDP is lucky to grow at 3%!
Our business community will save America if we the people can stop our government from bankrupting us. That is what my point is.

Fantastic educational music video. I particularly treasured contrasting 2 markedly different conducted versions of B5: Furtwangler vs Toscanini. Isn't it fascinating how it's the German conductor Furtwangler holding true to 432 tuning & the more deliberate nuanced B5 while the Italian Toscanini races up tuning, pace & attack. Furtwangler's B5 was 6+ minutes longer. So much beauty to discover!

Since I started to listen to streamed music in very best quality I always preferred the 432 Hz frequency pieces!
On platforms like YouTube, Qobuz or Spotify, you can search for "432 Hz" and immediately know if they have, and they do !

I feel something coming. I can't put my finger on it. It doesn't feel like doom. It feels like the steam being released from a pressure cooker using the manual release. I'm fairly sure that the feeling has been there for awhile, but it just became to the point where it can't be ignored any more.
Could these blue state governments be fracturing internally? Just like Israel's behavior in the Middle Eàst is starting to fracture the Democrat Party? If they are, that is following the Trump playbook of isolating the bad actors by showcasing to the world their behavior, whether it is a nation like Israel, or a player on the chessboard, like Griswold. I find Polis' behavior puzzling unless the strategy is for the governor to turn on the Secretary of State, kind of like now in Colorado. I think Georgia did the same thing where Brian Kemp turned on Raffensberger. Ultimately, it is the governor's responsibility. Is Polis now Polis 2.0? Is Brian Kemp now Kemp 2.0? What about RINOs like DeSantis or Abbott? Are they 2.0 also?
Ghost, welcome back. The strike in UAE was a huge concern. I couldn’t believe Iran would be so stupid but now I believe anything like this is going to be Israel or proxies. No doubt they are the culprits! One other observation…the strike on Isis in Nigeria is just further proof that Trump is making sure the US is attempting to be on the “right” side. And you’ve nailed this conflict and called it for what it is before anyone else!

If we watch the Badlands Blitz from Saturday we can see a very interesting chart showing many countries and their GDP. The right side of that chart goes one step farther and divides that overall GDP by the population. To me, this is something all of us need to look at because I think it tells us a much needed story. The chart comes around minute 43.
China has a GDP per capita of $14,400 and Russia’s number is $18,500. Meanwhile America is at $94,400! This tells me our economy is trouncing them beyond reason. We are so much more productive that our competitors need to catch up to be true competition.
But here is some bad news. We need to see a chart of National Debt per capita. That might sober us up if someone were to publish it. For instance, in America our debt per capita is $114,000. Oops. Our debt is $20,000 per capita more than our GDP per capita. In fact, it is 1.21 :1 times greater. In China the debt to GDP ratio is 0.37:1 and in Russia it is 0.15:1.
America’s government has buried us in debt, and no one seems to even notice. This is what our President is correcting in my opinion, and it is about time we addressed the real problem. Did you know you owe $114,000, or a family of four owes $456,000?
A better question is, “What is Washington proposing to do to reduce your debt?” All I ever see is them voting to increase the debt limit or spending money to deplete the surplus they created the last time they raised their own debt limit.
Do you see the problem? Our Congress has manipulated our system to put the citizen in debt while the citizens never feel that debt personally. On average, America is bankrupt, but we are the largest economy in the world, on paper. And, we appear to be the most prosperous! We have excellent credit!
I am reminded of the Titanic in 1912. Full speed ahead is not a good idea. Changing course is needed ASAP or cut the engines. Or engine is our Congress and it is pushing us very quickly toward a catastrophe. And, I see no plans to change course or to slow down.

In another post I pointed to the Badlands Blitz from Saturday and especially their discussion beginning at about minute 43. Now, I would like to use that same chart to take us in a different direction. Burning Bright pointed to the Market Capitalization of NVIDIA which exceeds $5 Trillion which is larger that the GDP of the entire country of Germany. So, that puts our largest business being larger than the economy of the world’s third largest country. But, that compares apples to oranges.
The key point here is the market cap of NVIDIA is meaningless compared to the GDP of a country. Yes, the comparison is very interesting, but the GDP of Germany is real and the Market Cap of a business is imaginary. The Market Cap is calculated by multiplying the stock price right now by the number of shares outstanding. But, in reality the price right now is based upon the market’s opinion of what the future earnings of the business will generate over time brought back to a present value. It is impossible to lay your hands on that market cap unless you could sell all of the shares right now.
Five years from now the value of NVIDIA could be zero. The value today is based on the opinion of investors and the expected evolution of AI technology. But, five years from now I think Germany will still be a valid country. So, Jim, what the Hell is your point?
Our Corporations are our solution, not our enemy. That future compound growth we see in the present value of NVIDIA is what will pay off our national debt if America stops going bankrupt faster than our government can take us down. NVIDIA’s value is growing at over 30% per year because their earning power is growing at that rate. Other corporations are growing much faster than our debt’s compound rate growth of 8% while our country’s GDP is lucky to grow at 3%!
Our business community will save America if we the people can stop our government from bankrupting us. That is what my point is.
