Unless that is broken, there won't be any downward change in the pump price that consumers and users of the food supply chains see. In other words, food prices won't fall. If so, when is he going to break the beef cartel or oil sellers agreeing to set a pump price that has no reflection on reality (eg price gouging)?
I know some states have a gas tax, but those are a usually a percentage of the pump price. So if the pump price falls, their revenues do too; however, if I am to believe social media, then pump prices are up everywhere, not just blue states.
The cost to produce one barrel of oil is between $25 and $30 here in America. That includes the cost of discovery, drilling the well, and getting the oil ready to sell. This varies with the efficiency of the producer.
I believe the cost is much lower where labor costs are lower. For instance, I recently read that China is paying Iran under $10/barrel. But, once a well is producing, or the cost of the discovery and development is written off, the cost is almost zero because all that is required is paying to pump it out of the ground.
So, the price we see of $100/barrel is based on the value of the end product to a consumer. It assumes that scarcity will increase demand and the selling price. It is simple economic theory and has no real value concerning the cost of production. That cost is still $25 to $30 here in America.
Quite honestly, it is a lot like Gold. Producers are making more Gold at a cost of $1200 to $1400/ounce. But the market told us last month that Gold was worth $5500/ounce. Yesterday it was quoted at $4500/ounce.
I hope this helps. The deal isn’t about value, it is about what a consumer will pay. But, us consumers aren’t in the game! Our job is to pay the price or refuse to buy. We are free to make that decision for ourselves. After all, it’s just money.

Well, actually they can still make money but they have to start selling some of the oil they wrote off years ago using the depletion allowance. They have hundreds of billions socked away, but that is not what they want to sell.
Many years ago the idea was to use oil from foreign sources rather than to use up our American oil. It sounded great until OPEC was invented to drive up the price of the imported oil. The consumer was the driving force. Thus the gas lines 50 years ago that people still remember and do not want again. Iran was the key back then and here we are today.
What Trump is doing is reversing the problem. America is Iran’s problem instead of vice versa. I find this absolutely fabulous.

I have been raising the alarm for over a decade now about the damage that was done when congress in their infinite wisdom decided to modernize the Smith-Mundt Act of 1948 in 2012. When they did this they removed the key protections that were put into the Act to specifically prevent the use of propaganda on US citizens. Now along with their ability to now use personal opinions, biases, and talking point narratives to plant seeds into the minds of their brainwashed followers, they can now control entire groups of people simply through social media posts that push all the right buttons.

The IDF (in my humble and mostly uninformed opinion) is on life support. Do they go to jail if they do not report? If so, that is the ONLY reason they still have any warm bodies in uniform.

However, what I do care about is the city of London's hold on the futures markets where the price of crude is set. Unless that is broken, there won't be any downward change in the pump price that consumers and users of the food supply chains see. In other words, food prices won't fall. I know he broke the Lloyd's of London's ability to strangle the Strait of Hormuz traffic, but is that the same as breaking London's ability to set oil prices depending upon its agenda? If so, when is he going to break the beef cartel or oil sellers agreeing to set a pump price that has no reflection on reality (eg price gouging)?
I know some states have a gas tax, but those are a usually a percentage of the pump price. So if the pump price falls, their revenues do too; however, if I am to believe social media, then pump prices are up everywhere, not just blue states.

The cost to produce one barrel of oil is between $25 and $30 here in America. That includes the cost of discovery, drilling the well, and getting the oil ready to sell. This varies with the efficiency of the producer.
I believe the cost is much lower where labor costs are lower. For instance, I recently read that China is paying Iran under $10/barrel. But, once a well is producing, or the cost of the discovery and development is written off, the cost is almost zero because all that is required is paying to pump it out of the ground.
So, the price we see of $100/barrel is based on the value of the end product to a consumer. It assumes that scarcity will increase demand and the selling price. It is simple economic theory and has no real value concerning the cost of production. That cost is still $25 to $30 here in America.
Quite honestly, it is a lot like Gold. Producers are making more Gold at a cost of $1200 to $1400/ounce. But the market told us last month that Gold was worth $5500/ounce. Yesterday it was quoted at $4500/ounce.
I hope this helps. The deal isn’t about value, it is about what a consumer will pay. But, us consumers aren’t in the game! Our job is to pay the price or refuse to buy. We are free to make that decision for ourselves. After all, it’s just money.

By the way, check out the prices of all major oil suppliers. Every one is making an all-time high market price today. High oil prices are most beneficial to them because their profit margins soar when the spot price goes up.
The oil they are selling still costs under $30/barrel to replace. Their problem is low oil price because they cannot make money with $35 oil. Well, actually they can still make money but they have to start selling some of the oil they wrote off years ago using the depletion allowance. They have hundreds of billions socked away, but that is not what they want to sell.
Many years ago the idea was to use oil from foreign sources rather than to use up our American oil. It sounded great until OPEC was invented to drive up the price of the imported oil. The consumer was the driving force. Thus the gas lines 50 years ago that people still remember and do not want again. Iran was the key back then and here we are today.
What Trump is doing is reversing the problem. America is Iran’s problem instead of vice versa. I find this absolutely fabulous.
I told my husband the companies were just using the conflict to raise their profits, especially since we are self sufficient, but you’ve added so much behind the scenes. We came back to Halle’s in the 70s after living overseas for several years.

But another factor is that China is no longer getting cheap oil from Venezuela and discounted oil from Iran. This puts some breaks on China becoming the superpower the CCP has dreamed about. And now suddenly, Russia gets to sell their oil at fair market value. Fair market value was being controlled by the City of London…now the world will get to benefit from real fair market value.

Totally agree. But in the case of this Kha-mini, the entire narrative that he is gay is built around this: "The sources claim Mojtaba had a long-term relationship with his childhood tutor." And everyone reporting on it conveniently skirted around the main takeaway. That this is an obvious case of child abuse.
On one hand, Holywood has successfully desensitized society to think homosexuality is totally natural and therefore cool. When in actuality it is completely unnatural and antithetical to God’s creation and natural law. Here, a child could have been abused and turned into a homosexual and the entire media apparatus skirted around that foundational aspect of the narrative, and (if any of this whole thing is real) we could be partaking in the mockery of a victim of child abuse.
