But, in 2022 there was no way to stop inflation as they did in 1981 and 1982. First they just kissed it off saying it was transitory. When that failed they started raising the rates but knew the high interest would bankrupt America. Our ability to fix the problem that Reagan described was now impossible. We can no longer suck up high interest expense.
Look at our debt. In 1981 it hit $1 Trillion for the first time. This year it will go over $40 Trillion. The math says our national debt has been growing at an annual rate of 8.5%! Meanwhile our GDP has increased at just over 4%, so we were going belly-up at double time!
So, how can this continue? Trump is here at the right time and things do not need to get worse. My friends, this was inevitable and it was set in motion in 1871! We are not going belly-up by accident.
The good news back then was home prices were severely depressed so you got a good deal but the payments were devastating. Hopefully you refinanced as the rates collapsed.
Ultimately the rates were well below 3%! But, home prices were crazy high. All of this is a result of economic manipulation.

The big news yesterday was about Elon Musk becoming the first Trillionaire. That is total bullshit! He is not a Trillionaire by any means by a very long shot. He is a measly Billionaire and that is all!
He did precisely what a link today said about the Federal Reserve. Elon created a Trillion dollars out of nothing! But that Trillion is still nothing. It is just a piece of worthless paper.
Here’s the deal. He created SpaceX and offered 550 million shares of stock for an IPO. They have gone up substantially from the offer of $135/ share to $200/share today, but that totals $110 Billion, not a Trillion. Now he kept 450 million shares in his company that may be sold later or used for acquisitions. Still not close to a Trillion.
But, also in the deal was 5.57 Billion class B shares that only he controls so the shareholders have no say on his SpaceX enterprise. But, on paper he is worth over a Trillion dollars. But he cannot sell his class B shares so they have value in controlling the business but they hold no cash value.
To me, the big news is Elon Musk is showing America how the FED creates money to screw us. But, where have you seen that reported? Nope, the big news is a lie to misdirect us from the truth. It’s just another news day.

Iran got the cash and continued its bad behavior. Classic "leading from behind" weakness that empowered the mullahs.
Pres. Trump's Deal is Performance-based and America First. No pallets of taxpayer cash upfront. Sanctions relief and economic incentives tied to verifiable compliance, dismantling enriched Uranium stockpiles, stronger verification, with no pathway to a nuclear weapon, reopening the Strait of Hormuz for global energy flows, and ending hostilities. It's about leverage through maximum pressure first, then real concessions only if Iran delivers. A framework for a safer region, not a reward for bad actors.

May I totally change the subject?
The big news yesterday was about Elon Musk becoming the first Trillionaire. That is total bullshit! He is not a Trillionaire by any means by a very long shot. He is a measly Billionaire and that is all!
He did precisely what a link today said about the Federal Reserve. Elon created a Trillion dollars out of nothing! But that Trillion is still nothing. It is just a piece of worthless paper.
Here’s the deal. He created SpaceX and offered 550 million shares of stock for an IPO. They have gone up substantially from the offer of $135/ share to $200/share today, but that totals $110 Billion, not a Trillion. Now he kept 450 million shares in his company that may be sold later or used for acquisitions. Still not close to a Trillion.
But, also in the deal was 5.57 Billion class B shares that only he controls so the shareholders have no say on his SpaceX enterprise. But, on paper he is worth over a Trillion dollars. But he cannot sell his class B shares so they have value in controlling the business but they hold no cash value.
To me, the big news is Elon Musk is showing America how the FED creates money to screw us. But, where have you seen that reported? Nope, the big news is a lie to misdirect us from the truth. It’s just another news day.
