Having a week that focuses on all that God has done for us CAN (but is not assured to) draw us closer to Him...or it can be, as Paul warns, like the one who looks in the mirror and then, walking away, immediately forgets what he as seen.
I love this, HGV, because, as someone who has admitted many times I have not yet read the scriptures, I have ALWAYS soundly and firmly rejected the idea that Christian worship must take place within a physical church.
This is why I gravitated a bit more toward Protestantism in my youth and firmly rejected the Catholocism much of my Irish family was raised with.
As a father, I have grown to understand how valuable interacting with my children is. And it is my understanding that since He chose to have a large family He wanted to have a lot of conversations going!
I still remember lying with our first born on my chest, looking in her eyes and being struck by the fact that she would someday be an adult…and I was filled with pride in the promise that spoke! I have never regretted, even when things have been tough.

Your question unfortunately has no answers. An easier question is, “What can we do about any of this?”

While it may be true I have to say Trump takes liberty with colloquialism that seems inappropriate to me... at least unnecessarily risky. Talking about a Prince kissing your ass in open public forum? Why?
I do agree completely that I do not truly understand much of what he says that I personally consider inappropriate for one in his position, including the bragging…. But, the actions do matter.
There seems to be little doubt that he amplifies everything he speaks using controversial language to ensure global coverage. That's the best I've got to explain it.

Bright - You eloquently spell out the 5D Chess moves Trump is playing on the global front. How exactly does this play into the narrative on the home front? The Mockingbird Media isn't telling the story. And leading into the midterms (fake elections or not) how can these actions spin into a positive narrative that will keep Trump in power?
That being said, the loony left isn't helping themselves with their No Kings Clown Show.
This is actually one of the reasons some of us at Badlands are so adamant about disarming and blocking the narrative that Trump is 'weak' ahead of the Midterms, for to accept enemy framing leads one to accept the enemy end game.
I don't know what we're going to be told is happening in November, but I do believe the economy is going to go through a rapid and violent (in a good way) correction to the upside in Q2 to Q3, which Trump will take (and have earned) credit for.
We'll see if that's right!
I have never given much credit to the Republicans when it comes to creating the narrative. Trump has been another animal entirely. In his first term it was the Power of the Tweet. While not as effective in this term, he has still been able to stay ahead of the game. Give credit to his being a fighter and not letting a punch go unanswered.
For this present moment, I want to see where Trump will take us. And I really like the radical correction you allude to.
Your question unfortunately has no answers. An easier question is, “What can we do about any of this?”
The answer is, “Absolutely nothing!” And, that to me is the real problem. If elections are rigged, we cannot even vote the bums out. And if the media refuses to report the truth, how will any progress be made?
My solution is to keep talking. Spread the truth and hope our President has this under control because we have allowed it to get this screwed up, or our parents did, or our grandparents and great-grandparents. This has been evolving since well before 1900!
In a lot of ways we never won the Revolutionary war because the City of London never agreed we won! They never actually gave up. The English Crown just stopped fighting. They took a second shot in 1812, but decided we were a waste of money. Better beat us by bankrupting us instead of allowing us to bankrupt them.

As I see this deal, 5-D chess is no more interesting than the 3-D game. If you do not play it, you certainly cannot be interested in watching it.
This present psyop game is not something to be enjoyed. There are far too many moving pieces and they are changing daily. My enjoyment comes from finding one piece and understanding how it has evolved over time to make it a key piece of the game. To me, all of the other pieces are just diversions.
The only piece I care about is the American economic system. The concept was put in place before 1776, but the proof was to be in the execution. What almost no one in America really understands is how that concept is really a problem for the world’s movers and shakers. In fact, those clowns have been working overtime since about 1816 to undermine our Capitalism by infiltrating it with Marxism. And, quite honestly, they must be complimented for their immense success. I would admire them if they weren’t intent on evil ends. They are magnificent at creating confusion, fear, ignorance, intolerance, and even war when necessary to continue their evil.
So, here we are. We have been maneuvered into debt of over $42 Trillion of we merely spend the money appropriated by our Congress last year. That is what bankers do. They sell debt. Good debt can be used to make an individual wealthy. Bad debt makes slaves out of borrowers who use it for frivolity.
Our problem is our debt is created by Congress and we are not even in the game. Guess what they are making for us with their frivolity?

I do NOT know but there are too many strange patterns as if there would be some coordinated actions which could allow belligerents not to lose their face while actually reducing their military power and lessing their treat/deterrence toward their adversaries.

But I hope you don't dismiss him. & it's not helpful to criticize his use of them. Any more than when a theologian / pastor uses words that stand for lengthy Bible exegesis & coherent doctrines -- like "justification" and "sanctification", amply understood from reading & studying.
It's how we all substitute simple phrases for complex ideas, once comprehended.
They are handy then for understanding the logical implications leading to subsequent ideas, the cases having already been made; shorthand use understood a priori.
There ate a helluva lot of BB's stacks & vids that would need to be seen to catch up, tho', I know!

Israel is becoming a much more interesting theater. I have many thoughts regarding Judaism and Islam. How similar, in many ways, that they are. Same leadership structure, etc.....at least in the OT/NT biblical writings. I continue to wait and watch. I am not sure that I am willing to make any hard statements regarding anyone. Mainly because the whole world keeps changing. My mind is still contemplating the Hezbollah story from last week. Then I look at Sunni versus Shia. And it is all so convoluted. I am going to continue to observe.
