I find the take on Italy very interesting, especially in light of the vote to stop aid to Israel........which doesn't make me sad. Inversions are happening. Just makes me shake my head looking at this world right now. I guess I will be waiting until Monday to see what will make me happy.
Musk got caught PUBLICLY paying people to vote. At least he had the balls to do it publicly. He didn't hide behind curtains saying "don't look at the man behind the curtain"......just take your cash and vote. I am certain (wink, wink, nod, nod) that Musk is shaking in his shoes over this. I expect Musk has all the ammo he needs if this goes to trial.
The funding for Israel is an interesting subject. The real question should be, “Why does America fund Israel?”. Israel has a very solid economy and is very much self-reliant. I am sure they appreciate our support, but why is it there to begin with?
In 1950 it made sense. Israel was just starting off as a new settlement and they needed to build an economy so outside help was required. To boot, America was involved in Europe funding hundreds of billions of reconstruction projects due to the destruction caused by the war. The creation of Israel was actually a small chunk of that reconstruction in that the displacement of Jews from Germany was a part of the world war. So, American tax dollars were budgeted for Israel again in 1951 and 1952.
To me, this is the problem. Once funding is voted into existence by our Congress it never goes away by design. It is called the appropriation process. Each year Congress looks at the appropriations from the previous year and automatically bump them up by the recorded level of inflation. That becomes the starting point for negotiating the next budget. It is next to impossible to totally remove an item from the annual budgeting process.
I think the whole process is crazy! We have a national debt of $40 Trillion thanks to our budgeting process. Look how much argument we will see over cutting the funds going to Israel. If you agree to cut it, you will be accused of hating Jews. Case closed! The funding will continue. This is how the Socialists destroy America. They know how to use our benevolence against us.
A sane politician faced with limited funds would never budget in this way. Sanity would dictate a totally reverse process. First, you would start with the known tax revenues from the present year and let the IRS explain what is rational for the following year. Then, you look at the Constitution to see what is manditory and account for them. What is left for discretionary spending? Is funding for Israel more important that paying Social Security promises?
Now we have a logical debate. Guess what gets chopped? Sorry Israel, you are on your own. We have no money for you unless we borrow it. You can borrow it for yourself. You don’t need us for that.
So, you see, our problem is us. Pogo warned us in 1971 and we laughed. We knew he was right, but we didn’t know why. Here we are 55 years later and we know why. It is our Congress!
It is called 'zero-base budgeting.' It is used by some companies and possibly even some smaller governments -- towns where everyone knows the councilpersons, and where they might have to answer uncomfortable questions in the grocery check-out line.
Congress could adopt zero-base budgeting, but they do not. Why?
Well, because they have their hands in the cookie jar! Some of what they vote for comes back to them, usually rather indirectly but nevertheless back in the form of campaign donations from those who benefit from government largesse. It's probably 'only' a few percent, but it matters to the Congresscritters. And over time, it adds up.
And eventually, it becomes a case of You Are Here. Nobody wants to rock the boat, because the questions which inevitably get asked start to get too close to home for comfort. Better just to avoid the unpleasantness in the first place.
Nobody (at least, almost nobody; Rand Paul might be an exception) wants to open the hornets' nest of answering the questions you ask above. Because they know they'll all get stung, by association if nothing else.
And that is the recipe for perpetual overspending beyond our means.
“A couple percent” is well over $100 Billion! That is over $200 Million per Congress person. Nice work if you can get it, and that is annually! So, even if it is a fraction of one percent, it is still big money. And it explains how they become rich. The problem is us tax payers are funding it all. Or, it is added to the debt and our children will pay until the system collapses under its own weight.
This is a classic case of what an economist calls 'concentrated interest' vs. 'diffuse interest.' Those on the take get large (concentrated) chunks of cash; those funding that largess pay a few cents a day (diffuse). It's how they get away with it -- we're paying it but it is not apparent to us, it's just a small cut of what we pay in taxes, and we have no way to see it. Oh, well, maybe you and I and a few people reading this get it; but most folks have no idea.
Thanks Feather. I always try to explain things so that people who aren't experts can understand what I'm saying. It can be challenging, but that is what teachers do. Each of us has our own areas of expertise -- if we learn how to share them and explain them, we're all better off. 💖🙏🕊🕊🕊
Like maybe he is daring them to go to court...? But, for that to work you'd need a judge who would actually allow discovery. Let's not forget POTUS multiple felonies due to such allowed "qualified" discovery.
Election fraud is as big an issue on the left today as it is among informed citizens (conservatives, yes, but it can't be dismissed as simply a conservative or even a partisan issue). The churn alone will keep the issue in the news. Even if the rug is pulled, normies will be able to see what's been swept under it.
What will happen over the weekend that will make people happy and not friday or after the speech? A delayed reaction to the speech or a fulfillment of what DT will say tonight? I'm going to wait to get excited, to see if there is anything to be excited about.
Disappointment (I am told) is the result of unmet expectations. To avoid disappointment, one merely needs to set expectations on something or in someone that cannot result in that expectation being unmet. That is not solely accomplished by "lowering the bar" - but that is often the easiest way.
Finding someone that is trust-worthy enough to put one's hopes in is another.
That is a profound and thought provoking post. I love it!
In my 80 plus years I have put my trust and hopes into the hands of a goodly number of humans. Quite frankly, very very few turned out positively. Many were total flops. I have trained myself to trust almost no one and also not to ask anything of anyone. This is why I love the stock markets.
In the markets I put my full trust and hopes, as well as my future well being, into the hands of hundreds of millions of humans whom I don’t even know. I do. However, know what they do each day in detail. They get out of bed, get dressed, and report for work. I know they are working to achieve personal success for themselves and their families who trust them.
Their ability to be successful allows their business to thrive because that is what their employment was all about when they were hired. The net result at the end of a fiscal year is an earnings report that justifies the share price and reasserts my belief in my trust in our system.
It’s not about the money. It’s about faith in an American system that works after 250 years of practice. So, my faith in individuals is not real good because they might not have my best interest at heart. And, I meet a lot of really great people every day, but I don’t expect nor ask anything from them except some time to communicate honestly. What else really matters in life?
By the way, the system I am describing is the American system of Alexander Hamilton working for us. The British system that Promethean Action talks about is our federal government’s system.
One system is successful and the other is failing in front of our eyes. But, no one sees it! The successful system is going to save the broken one. It is called “The Golden Age” and it is just getting off the ground.
The American system has been supporting the British system since 1776! Americans were being duped into paying for it all along because we could afford to be duped. But, $40 Trillion of debt has exposed the scam. A change is necessary just like it was in 1776, but this time we need to end the conflict 100%.
[Their] greatest success was convincing us they did not exist.
Trump is forcing them out of their hidey-holes, into the open, for all to see.
I have a feeling his address tonight will be more about systemic exposure and less regarding specific facts and crimes.
After all, the evidence needs a framework to make sense. Understanding -- or at least accepting the existence of -- the System of Systems is a baseline requirement to fixing the problems we face. That is Professor Trump's assignment tonight.
John Solomon’s statement is very intriguing! Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness requires the “consent of the governed”…nothing violated that more than fraudulent, stolen elections.
Will the evidence pave the way for the Insurrection Act? The Military is the only way! It will be the best rug pull ever and the final end to the Democrat Party!?!
Oh, yes -- your second paragraph -- I do not know if he'll do it tonight (he has to take baby steps, after all), but I believe Trump is planning a National Election Emergency which will open the door to the Insurrection Act and military governance, of at least part of the FedGov.
First though, he has to teach the People what has really been happening. Yes, there were election 'irregularities,' and yes, they did significantly affect election outcomes, most notably but not only in 2020. It has happened in 72 countries. The CCP and CIA are at the head of the snake. And this is a planned, systematic effort, [they] have been working on for decades, at least since the Gore-Bush debacle. Likely before.
Until the People understand and accept this, they will not be ready for what must come next. We must not presume that everyone knows what we here know. They do not; but they must learn.
It is impossible to give valid (i.e., informed) consent to lies. First the lies must be exposed. Then and only then can We the People decide if we consent. (The answer most certainly will be NO!!)
Exactly. My point is that consent given to a liar is not an operative (valid) consent. It was obtained by fraud (lies), and as you recall, fraud vitiates everything.
Here is some signal: Today I shared last night’s DPH from both Rumble and YouTube. If there are people who didn’t know they were on a rug, they are about to be forewarned! 😉Thank you to all who have had the yellow flag waving for weeks, months or years.
Agreed that Trump is probably not the best guy to deliver news about election fraud as someone in the WH has given PMSNow the leak they have had 72 hours to frame the narrative with.
I have faith and I think Trump will push someone else out to deliver the results. Trump knows that prosecutions will take years after he is gone and is simply putting the data out to the People. It is up to us to do things with it.
President Trump is the only human being on Earth who knows the truth about the 2020 election and the insurrection on January 6th because he was the victim. Others were hurt or even killed, but only he was the specific target. So, who can he get to present his story?
As the chief executive in 2020 he was targeted for removal by the Democrats. They paid to produce a totally false accusation in 2016 and then used it to hamstring his first two years in office. When that fell apart they impeached him for a telephone call. When that pooped out, they used a pandemic to justify changing our election system to steal the 2020 election and then created an insurrection to keep the truth from being exposed in Congress. Then they impeached him again for creating the chaos they had actually created.
So, who can tell that story better than the only person who was at the middle of it? A better question is, “How can the Democrat party exist if this story is told?”.
I have been waiting 10 years for some truths to be reported. Will our media finally get rid of their bias, or will this just be another opportunity to just ignore the truth and just change the subject?
Tonight we will get to see how this evolves. That is what this has always been, an evolution. America is evolving into something new and we have no idea how, when, or what direction. Do we go right or left? Straight ahead is a dead end.
And left is off the plank, into the abyss. There is only one workable way forward, take the path to the right. We shall see if the nation is ready to make that choice. What happens tonight starts the ball rolling -- after that, it's up to the country to decide.
Personally, I don't think there is anyone better than Trump to deliver it, just looking at the narrative script readers paid by the left-right media to provide the falsities.
Nobody trusts Trump more than me on this. He has been fighting these assholes for over ten years and deserves our trust.
These Wisconsin elections officials all need to be thrown out on their heads. Or charged with election fraud themselves, fr allowing fraudulent voting.
I don't know if you've ever been to Madison, but Wisconsin is a little mini-Minnesota. (Actually I believe their populations are fairly similar.) This sort of communist chicanery is the rule, not the exception. Fortunately not everyone there is a nutjob, Time will tell if the Badger State comes to its senses.
And Zuckerberg donated $500,000,000 for drop boxes in the swing states. Sounds like a “Sting” operation to expose the normies to the frauds on the Commie Left.
A sane election system does not use drop boxes. They are only used to enable fraud.
Real elections are held at polling stations, in 12 hours, and you have to be 'on the list' and show valid ID to vote. It used to be that way -- I'm over 70 now but for most of my life, that is the way elections ran in both USA and Canada (dual citizen) where I lived.
With Pres. Trump set to address the nation tonight on election integrity and declassified intel on foreign interference, the timing of this Wisconsin Elections Commission move against Elon Musk feels anything but coincidental. A bipartisan panel (5-1) just referred complaints claiming Musk’s $1M voter giveaways in last year’s Supreme Court race violated State bribery laws. Three people got the checks, including at a Green Bay rally. Musk and his groups poured serious resources into flipping that court for election integrity reasons.
Pres. Trump has teased foreign interference in past elections and the need for free and fair voting ahead of the midterms is vital. Whether tonight delivers big disclosures, directional signals, or sets the table for accountability, one thing is fer sure, the machine is sweating. They fear honest audits and real safeguards more than anything.
No more rug pulls without receipts. Tune in, stay sharp, and let’s see if we finally move from narrative shielding to actual sunlight tonight.
I have great expectations for Pres. Trump's speech tonight, whether it's a big reveal, a setup, or something in between.
Finding it strange that I have no recollection of the activity complained of by Musk. Wondering if the public announcement of a contest fits in with notion of "bribery." Gosh. It was tough to come up with that thought, and I only heard of this less than five minutes ago.
How much more trouble is Massie going to try to cause before he is out at the end of the year—having lost his primary?
Why was no one concerned when King Samir Shabazz, aka Mauruse Heath, was threatening old ladies with a metal pipe in Philadelphia during the 2008 Obama campaign? That's the ultimate election interference.
Forgive me, but having been raised a Cubs fan......you get used to if after a while. After all, 104 years isn't that long between world series wins....right? Technically, I only waited 52 years (1964-2016) and we're 1/10 of the way to the next one.....I should be good to make 156 and see the next one. After all med beds or a Nuero link subcription should get me there.
How has all that epic disclosure played out so far.....Durham's report, JFK, Epstein, Alien files, Capone's vault....? I'll probably skip it and just wait till Monday, then Tuesday, and then.....
Historically, when did any tyrant ever just surrender?
There's a reason the 2nd amendment followed the 1st.
From Google AI...
The First Amendment is a cornerstone of the U.S. Constitution, ratified in 1791 as part of the Bill of Rights.
IT PRIMARILY RESTRICTS THE GOVERNMENT FROM INFRINGING UPON FIVE FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS: religion, speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the government.
To break down these five protections further:
FREEDOM OF RELIGION: Prevents the government from establishing an official state religion (the Establishment Clause) [science/education via Rokefeller and Carnegie] and protects individuals' rights to practice their faith without government interference (the Free Exercise Clause).
VIOLATION'S: too many to even start to name. But just COVIDiocy....if riots in the streets haven't occurred over that alone.....can't have church, cause man in white coat say his religion knows better...not likely to occur over elections. You, know where 60%
Or forced public education, where "science" a.k.a. Dawrinism is mandated. Don't get me started on 501-c3 corps(e) masquerading as churches.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH: Protects your right to express your opinions, ideas, and beliefs without government censorship or retaliation. While highly protected, exceptions apply to incitement, true threats, and defamation.
How'd that Fakebook, "B-you-B tube", Twit-ter, etc. thing work out.....I mean surely the goobenut had/has no control over that...wait what, SECTION 230 of Bill of Rights supercedes that you say. Or those quasi-governmental right to work boards AMA, State BAR, Medical, etc. Or those Constitutional 4th branch FDA, CDC, OSHA, etc.
FREEDOM OF THE PRESS: Allows journalists and media outlets to investigate, publish, and criticize government actions without fear of censorship or retaliation.
This one really makes me chuckle.....SEE ABOVE
FREEDOM OF ASSEMBLY: Guarantees the right of people to gather peacefully in public spaces to protest, associate with groups, or hold meetings.
FREEDOM TO PETITION: Gives citizens the right to ask the government for changes, express grievances, or demand solutions through lawsuits, lobbying, or contacting elected officials.
Ask those J-6'ers how those worked out....
WHAT DID JEFFERSON SAY ABOUT THE TREE OF LIBERTY....BEING WATERED WITH CAMPAIGN FINANCING AND NOT FAKE ELECTION RESULTS......?
Not advocating violence....Just reflecting on what the guy who penned the majority of the 250 year old document we are celebrating said.
Yes, CT, tyranny waits just around the corner. Patriots also advised us that eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
And yeah, I get it, you being a Cubs fan. Back when I cared about such things I rooted for the Tigers. They did have a few good years, but seemed like they always had a way to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. Especially when they played the Yankees.
Is it OK to admit? ... I HATE RUG PULLS! HATE! HATE! HATE! 6 Yrs later Why does MAGA need 2B strategic about who tells the F-ing truth about election theft we plainly saw was election theft in real time? All this dithering is beyond F- retarded! JUST F- DO IT & LET LIBTARDs BITCH!
Attacking the foreign influence angle is the easiest path to bringing back treason charges on domestic individuals. First, establish a foreign intelligence influence campaign of sufficient scope and robustness to constitute a threat (you need more than some circumstantially "Russian" meme-posts), then run the counter-intelligence playbook to determine who the spies/moles/dupes are domestically, and then either flip them or determine how best to conduct mass arrests to avoid their flight/document destruction.
But you need to establish that America has particular enemies, and those enemies are actual and active, and that its citizens have conducted themselves willingly to facilitate those enemies plans ("aid and comfort").
It's also easiest because the Executive has full purview over defense against foreign enemies, while as we can see domestic actors have a lot of swing to muck things up.

This sort of communist chicanery is the rule, not the exception.
Please help me here. That old cow Nancy Pelosi still has a vote?
Mmmoooooooo! 🐄🐮
See ya Tuesday!
Update: all visible now (and great!) - maybe I just popped in too early.

Can you see the memes? The rug pull memes are great.
All is well here on my end...
Do you use an ad blocker? That may be interfering as well.
