I have been doing some reading (h/t HGV) about Old Testament Israel versus New Testament Israel. I am beginning to come to the conclusion that their adherence to the Old Covenant in the Old Testament is incorrect. Jesus fulfilled the old covenant (is my understanding), therefore they need to move into the new covenant of Jesus. I was thinking last night of Jesus having the "last" Passover of his human life. Are we supposed to infer that it was for more than just Him as the "last" Passover? Still more questions and ponderings. But, to get back to your point, maybe this is God's way of uncoupling them from the old covenant and move them into the new???
Agreed. Jesus said he came to fulfill the law, not replace it. But he also said in loving God with all our heart and each other as he loved us, it also fulfills the whole of the law I believe.

I have been going through Genesis -- much more slowly than normal. Genesis 9 gives the genealogy of Noah and the curse upon Ham's son Canaan. Genesis 11 gives the genealogy of Abraham. As I read Chapter 11 - it occurred to me that BOTH Isaac AND Ishmael are Shemites (Semites). In Genesis 9, it is stated that Ham's son, Canaan, is cursed because of what Ham did to Noah. Canaan was cursed to be the servants of the lineage of Shem and Japheth.
The "christian" concept of Ishmael's line being the father of Islam doesn't ring true in light of this. It almost reads that Canaan would be the one that would be the "enemy" of Shemites. I haven't had the time to fully explore but my thoughts as I've been pondering the lineages and that specific curse. Does anyone ever realize that Ishmael was also a Shemite? God's word is so rich. I do need to do more exploring on this - but these are just some initial thoughts.

From first grade through graduate school the faults of Capitalism are explained and the advantages of Socialism are promoted. This is by design because the teachers are being taught in this system.
Who teaches the beauty of Capitalism? Where can any student find a class that proves the superiority of Free Market Capitalism? The logic, statistics and mathematics all prove it, but it isn’t taught. I cannot figure out why this is the case.
If a student was taught one class each year that showed how the system works and how an individual can merely jump on board the prosperity train, I think our country would be in a far better place today. Instead, all Conservatives do is talk about the evils of Socialism or Communism. We need to teach Capitalism, but no one does.
Everyone is left up to discovering the beauty for themselves. That used to work because it was a simple thing to get an education and to find a good paying job, save money, invest, and retire. But, a high percentage of graduates today do not find that to be true any longer. This is what has created our rise in the popularity of the Democrat Socialists. They point to the lack of “affordability” and find ready and willing voters.
The problem is the Socialistic Democrats created the problem the Democrat Socialists claim to solve. This brings me back to our lack of teaching Capitalism to get students seeing our beautiful system clearly. Their acceptance of its evils is where they missed the boat.
Who is to blame? Our situation is not accidental. It is many decades in the making and we do not have decades to fix it. We have tens of millions to educate in months.
Thing about Truth, Jim, is that it is. It exists, and it can be found once we realize we have been Programmed.
That realization is a bitter pill for anyone who sees their own existence and value as tied to the value system they embrace. Not aware that alternatives exist (quite by design), people will hold on to the bitter end.

You stay cool too... here out West our temperatures are below average for this time of year. Probably hard to believe that the high temperature in Paso Robles, California (where my company is based) was around 70 degrees yesterday, with an overnight low forecast at 44. It is not at all unusual for temps this time of year to be 110+ high and a low in the 70s. Here in St George Utah where I live, it can get above 100 (typically 10-25 degrees warmer, most years) but 'it's a dry heat' and feels more like 75-80 back in the east, like in Michigan where I grew up. Humidity makes a huge difference -- living in the desert, temperature ranges that sound crazy to 'easterners' i.e. east of the Rockies, are much wider and still comfortable.

Yesterday I'd the opportunity to watch Steven Spielberg's latest movie in a air conditioned theater: "Disclosure Day"
This movie moved me very deeply and made me resonate with many of its aspects!
I went to the theater with NO prior knowledge of its script nor having read any critics or see any teaser.
And my personal summary is that it's what I'd call a minds opener be cause I deeply feel it helps prepare our minds to consider new and different HUMAN truths and facts we probably can't process nor accept !

The reviews of that have been mixed; glad you liked it. I wonder, though, how many people will view the latter as fiction, just like the former.

I have been going through Genesis -- much more slowly than normal. Genesis 9 gives the genealogy of Noah and the curse upon Ham's son Canaan. Genesis 11 gives the genealogy of Abraham. As I read Chapter 11 - it occurred to me that BOTH Isaac AND Ishmael are Shemites (Semites). In Genesis 9, it is stated that Ham's son, Canaan, is cursed because of what Ham did to Noah. Canaan was cursed to be the servants of the lineage of Shem and Japheth.
The "christian" concept of Ishmael's line being the father of Islam doesn't ring true in light of this. It almost reads that Canaan would be the one that would be the "enemy" of Shemites. I haven't had the time to fully explore but my thoughts as I've been pondering the lineages and that specific curse. Does anyone ever realize that Ishmael was also a Shemite? God's word is so rich. I do need to do more exploring on this - but these are just some initial thoughts.
I believe His Glorious Victory (who is a very knowledgeable Biblical scholar) would tell you that the Truth of the Bible is in many ways like an onion. Every time you peel back another layer, be prepared to learn many things you were not aware of before. And it might make your eyes tear up a bit.
As I understand it, all of the Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam, in order of appearance) have a common ancestry. And nobody knows how to fight better than brothers -- 'internecine squabbles,' they call it. 'Internecine' meaning 'between nest-mates.'

I think that the US pulling out of Saudi Arabia is a good thing. I also think the media is lying about why. They know that Americans generally support getting out of the Middle East and perhaps the Middle Eastern nations do too. The media know this, but the Clowns have to insert a 'Orange Man Incompetent and Mentally Unfit' narrative into the conversation so Americans can distance themselves from him, just like the Democrats distanced themselves from Biden due to his mental unfitness for the job. I know this was a superb acting job, but a lot of Americans think it was genuine.
The showdown between the DSA candidates and the Republicans will be interesting indeed. Just like the establishment support is bimodal (the Uniparty), the DSA support is also bimodal: very little support among the productive people, with support of many boomers with many young people (mostly indoctrinated by the school system). I suspect that the support will surprise a lot of people, but with the DSA and Trump primarying out the Mobsters we call Congresspeople, what's left: the productive vs the unproductive vying for 435 House seats in a body whose usefulness diminished to zero after FDR's presidency.
Just like the 2016 election, the showdown between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump would have added a lot more drama than the actual one between the Chosen Madam President and the Upstart Buffoon. Sanders had a lot of young people supporting him and when the DNC threw away millions of Bernie Sanders votes in the California Primary, the young people broke with the Democrats and voted for Trump. The DSA isn't exactly Bernie Sanders, but it may be a close second.
The question I have: is this an operation? I remember billionaire and RFK, Jr running mate Nicole Shanahan promising to primary every Democrat who refused to jump on board with Trump's agenda. It is hard for a DSA candidates to masquerade as a centrist Democrat, so I'm wondering if their resurgence is another part of game theory which leads the people to vote Republican? Could be, and if so, this is a brilliant strategy to get foreigners out of the government. The DSA aren't loyal either, but they make their allegiances so obvious they can't even gaslight -and- it pinches the media. Support Communists or Trump, both options the Clown controlled media do not like.
The Socialists hate Israel, the neocons, MAGA, and anyone with an R by their name. So, where do the Democrats largest donors place their money? They know full well that should the Socialists gain power, their gig is up, but for a different reason than if Trump's candidates won. Now my next question are these candidates stupid enough to embrace an ideology that treats women worse than dogs? If so, could this be another part of the strategy to rid this country of subversives: getting them out in the open.
It seems to me that we are evolving into a society that accepts Socialism because it is being sold by our education system. From first grade through graduate school the faults of Capitalism are explained and the advantages of Socialism are promoted. This is by design because the teachers are being taught in this system.
Who teaches the beauty of Capitalism? Where can any student find a class that proves the superiority of Free Market Capitalism? The logic, statistics and mathematics all prove it, but it isn’t taught. I cannot figure out why this is the case.
If a student was taught one class each year that showed how the system works and how an individual can merely jump on board the prosperity train, I think our country would be in a far better place today. Instead, all Conservatives do is talk about the evils of Socialism or Communism. We need to teach Capitalism, but no one does.
Everyone is left up to discovering the beauty for themselves. That used to work because it was a simple thing to get an education and to find a good paying job, save money, invest, and retire. But, a high percentage of graduates today do not find that to be true any longer. This is what has created our rise in the popularity of the Democrat Socialists. They point to the lack of “affordability” and find ready and willing voters.
The problem is the Socialistic Democrats created the problem the Democrat Socialists claim to solve. This brings me back to our lack of teaching Capitalism to get students seeing our beautiful system clearly. Their acceptance of its evils is where they missed the boat.
Who is to blame? Our situation is not accidental. It is many decades in the making and we do not have decades to fix it. We have tens of millions to educate in months.
Thing about Truth, Jim, is that it is. It exists, and it can be found once we realize we have been Programmed.
That realization is a bitter pill for anyone who sees their own existence and value as tied to the value system they embrace. Not aware that alternatives exist (quite by design), people will hold on to the bitter end.
But Enlightenment, like Revelation, can come quickly. The pendulum swinging back as it was. When you think about how far into Unreality the pendulum has been pushed, you realize that there is an incredible amount of pent-up emotional energy, ready to be released. And when it is released, the hatred of those who promoted the lies will be palpable. They will be ready to completely destroy that which has victimized them.
Are we there yet? Getting closer every day... the chinks in the armor are starting to appear.

You stay cool too... here out West our temperatures are below average for this time of year. Probably hard to believe that the high temperature in Paso Robles, California (where my company is based) was around 70 degrees yesterday, with an overnight low forecast at 44. It is not at all unusual for temps this time of year to be 110+ high and a low in the 70s. Here in St George Utah where I live, it can get above 100 (typically 10-25 degrees warmer, most years) but 'it's a dry heat' and feels more like 75-80 back in the east, like in Michigan where I grew up. Humidity makes a huge difference -- living in the desert, temperature ranges that sound crazy to 'easterners' i.e. east of the Rockies, are much wider and still comfortable.

Yesterday I'd the opportunity to watch Steven Spielberg's latest movie in a air conditioned theater: "Disclosure Day"
This movie moved me very deeply and made me resonate with many of its aspects!
I went to the theater with NO prior knowledge of its script nor having read any critics or see any teaser.
And my personal summary is that it's what I'd call a minds opener be cause I deeply feel it helps prepare our minds to consider new and different HUMAN truths and facts we probably can't process nor accept !
Many excellent questions are asked, some surprising answers are actually welcome, and the end let you ask yourself "What if ..."
The reviews of that have been mixed; glad you liked it. The disclosures I'm hoping to see are the details from around 2020, not just the direct fraud perpetrated through the elections but the whole Covid sideshow as well. I wonder, though, how many people will view the latter as fiction, just like the former.

In the first two paragraphs the writer defines the problem but misses the real problem! She talks about accountability but fails to mention money. Money is where accountability is measured but she never says Congress has an unlimited credit card and that is what pays for the other mismanagement.

Creating offices that report to nobody, with executives that cannot be fired, is in direct contravention to this principle and abhorrent to representative rule.
Bureaucrats like it this way, but that is not how it should be. At least in America, where men are free. And Trump is fixing it, or at least trying to. Nobody else has tried, ever, to my knowledge.

They argue about the cause of inflation but half refuse to accept it is due to deficit spending. The other half blame the printing of money, but neither side argues what I argue.
