What led me to this conclusion about California is Nithya Ramen's behavior. Only in a movie could we see her melodramatic action regarding the primary and interpret it as real. I even wonder about her name. In my circle, she is called Ramen Noodle. As usual, I can see the script, know it's a script and wonder how it will conclude.
Same with Iran. I knew it was scripted the moment I started seeing memes about cardboard Ayatollahs and the IDF's insistence that it wiped out a total of four Supreme Leaders in a matter of days. Regarding this AI data center race between China and the US. I agree with BB that this is less about AI and more about building infrastructure for free energy. This is why those I know living near data centers have seen no power bill spikes, no degradation in service for either power or water and no water bill spikes. I'm wondering if their grid has already been converted.
Concerning your last paragraph I have some thoughts. If we compare China’s recent emphasis and our lack of the same, things make more sense. China has been building hundreds of Coal fired power plants every year to keep up with their hugely expanding industrial base. That base was created by America’s demand for cheap stuff. But, Trump is bringing our manufacturing base back here. The real question is, “What does this move do to the demand for electric energy in China?”
OK, now to America’s situation. We have not built a new power plant in decades. But we are bringing back our manufacturing which has historically used a lot of electric power. And, our power companies cannot build more facilities because the environmentalists hate power plants of any type. So, what can we do to resolve this domestic dilemma?
What about selling the idea that AI is going to change everything and needs huge amounts of energy? But computers do not generate a lot of heat that needs cooling and they do not draw a huge amount of electricity. In 1965 that was not true and computers created giant energy demand. But look at your cell phone today. It holds more computing power than that of the combination of thousands of 1965 computers. How many tons of air conditioning does your phone require?
To me, we are being sold a good story that sells well. If the new AI facilities must provide their own power, but can sell their excess power to the local power company, who cares if the facility sells the majority of its power? The net result will be hundreds of small power plants all over America instead of a few huge plants run by major utilities?
This story also resolves the EMP threat because we no longer need to fear the destruction of our power distribution system.
So, the bottom line is China has already built their power system and can use it to power AI while we are playing “Catch up”. We must blame our Congress for this mess. They created it by trying to export the inflation they were creating with their deficit spending and borrowing. They had China buying our debt to fund their lack of fiscal restraint. Trump is fixing that problem for us. I just wish he would explain it so we are not kept so confused. All he says is we are entering a new Golden Age. No one knows what that means!

We’re here with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew. When we part in a week, we’re going the southern route back, stopping in ID, NV (Hoover Dam as it’s been 12 years since the last time), Yuma and then back across the southern route, with a stop at the WWII museum in New Orleans (for my husband)…it was in progress the last time we were there. Love seeing what God created for us.

We’re here with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew. When we part in a week, we’re going the southern route back, stopping in ID, NV (Hoover Dam as it’s been 12 years since the last time), Yuma and then back across the southern route, with a stop at the WWII museum in New Orleans (for my husband)…it was in progress the last time we were there. Love seeing what God created for us.
It’s taking two trips into Yellowstone this time. I’ll keep you in my heart as we go!❤️❄️🇺🇸🕊️❤️

Ghost your take on Fusion Power and the use of the term varmint reminds me of the movie Caddyshack. Al Czervik (Rodney Dangerfield) is an outsider (Trump) to the Bushwood (stuffy Country Club Deep State Republican system). His building project brings an invading army of groundhogs (Varmints) onto the manicured Country Club (haven of Politicos, Institutuional Religion, Medical Industrial complex, insiders) bent on controlling and keeping out the commoners except to cook and maintain the course.
