Calling out for another mass murder of our fellow countrymen is heinous. Even in hyperbole, it is heinous.
I, as an American, do not necessarily like Israel (evil twin). But Israel - the nation - the people? As was discussed in the Narrative last night, "the people" are not the same as the government and the picture painted about them by the media. I want the world to see Israel as we would if we went there to visit. To meet the people and see pleasant people trying to live good lives. Trying to keep evil twin / good twin separate in my mind is exhausting after awhile.
God will always love Israel because He is God. Yet, He very clearly states in His Word that Israel will be held accountable for their actions. (See Isaiah) And it will be very unpleasant. And so, in the times we are in now, I wonder -- Is God using this time as a course correction for Israel? Is this a time of God saying "Come back to me!" Do they really need to get nearly completely destroyed before they will turn back? (I know I do it too, but hopefully I am seeing it sooner.)
I cheer for the USA in their run in the World Cup. Sometimes I am sad that the only thing that will unite people is sports. But hey, it's a step in the right direction. No one knew who the political leanings of those standing around them. They were just united in the thrill of the moment. Now to once again take that pride in America and live it every single day.
Thank you for pointing out the key point to remember about each country in this war, ‘the people’ are NOT the government. In ALL our travels, we’ve seen that people are the same everywhere. The governments: definitely not.
Accountability - when it comes to God - is proof of His declaring and demonstrating His standards. Luke 12:48 (paraphrased) 'To whom much is given, much is required.' We see Him interacting (if we are reading to do so) with all of the nations of the Old Covenant era! And when He warns them it is because He had already told them how they were to respond to Him! That He narrowed the story by focusing on a people through whom the Messiah would come makes perfect sense; but it should not suggest to us that He loves them more - if for no other reason than He tells us so and it Is Who He is!
My take is that God definitely continues to hold Israel, the national people group, in a special position. Which, honestly, should terrify Jews, because their history demonstrates that they, as a group, are incredibly stubborn toward their God and THAT was the reason He picked them (it gives Him more glory, thereby, to work with the worst of the worst). But, they do NOT get a pass for bad behaviour, and are instead held to account and repeatedly threshed to remove bad actors and re-sanctify them.
"Threshed", applied to a people group, is a horrible, horrible word.
Further, because the Israelites are held in special consideration, they get a double-dose of satanic meddling in their affairs as a group; that is not to say every people doesn't end up in efforts to pervert them from Truth, but the Jews seem to attract the absolute worst as well as the absolute best. And, because of their tribal organization, they are not terribly good at self-cleansing.
In any event, the resurrection of Jesus initiated the time of the gentiles, in which the harvest of spiritual Israel (including national Israelites) continues, so there may be a people accrued to Christ worthy of Him. That said, no single national people group--whether gentile or Jew--is pure enough to stand prior to Christ's return. That means expecting Israeli leadership to be inherently moral is delusion, but one we've been propagandized toward for more than a century. "You will know them by their fruits" applies to anyone who claims virtue, and in that context, if you understand the fruit is rotten, would a blessing to Israel not be to prune the withered branches such that the root can bear good fruit again?
Would it not be a curse to let the tree of Israel continue in blight? Ponder this.
My conversation with the "Israel is holy" church group has been enlightening. It finally occurred to me that we are all probably saying the same thing but from different angles. They know those that don't believe on Jesus are not saved. Or I think they do.
However, they continue to defend Israel's actions. They continue to pray for God to bless Israel because of the Abrahmic covenant.
I have shared I can't ask God to bless the evil Israel perpetrates, but they blame every other nation for starting it.
When the Apostle Paul says "there is no Jew or Gentile, I take that seriously. Literally.
It is weird being in the place where I am compared to those around me. Pruning is absolutely the right thing to pray for - or agree with God.
God loves them in the same way He loves us. They were chosen to bring about the lineage of Jesus. But to step away from their God-given purpose is ...... something I don't want to be near.
God is patient but only for so long. Certainly longer than I would be.

I was thinking, in my post of those who cannot but abandon the teachings of Jesus Himself (in whom they have faith and do, indeed love ), as they clamor for war, destruction and conquest, wrapped in that bent theology. If I may - we covered this yesterday in our Bible Study: The Hebrew meaning is seldom translated but we could/should read this as: “It is the glory of God to conceal the word (“dabar” = a speech or word); it is the glory of kings to search out the word (“dabar”).” To me this purposely encourages us, as the joint heirs of Jesus Christ our Lord, to dig deep into the meanings of God’s congruent and consistent revelations! As David demonstrated: we do not place the appropriate value in that which cost us nothing! There are others in the group that are much more well-versed in the Koran than I am. I have not read it so I cannot say if what you shared is actually in there or not. I know that the Bible gets misquoted quite often. It wouldn't surprise me about the Koran either. My prevailing belief is that God loves everyone equally. Whether Christian, Jew or Muslism or any other ism. If He loves equally, so must I try to love equally. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

Thanks for your engagement and apt cautions. I would say, though, that not everything we have come to understand about Muslims and Jews and other people is the whole truth. Many people’s beliefs have been warped and exploited

The next question is: How?
And how is justice served?

I, too, have spent more than 40 years studying the Word. I can only say that God inspired Solomon to pen the idea of God delighting in us searching for a veiled answer. Many times I have dug and dug until God finally reveals. It is a beautiful process.
As far as the ideology....I think we are seeing the perversion of Islam. I do believe Islam is a false religion. But just as believers, we are not to fall for gnosticism or ant other extreme sect, the same is true for Islam. There are those who claim Islam and are doing heinous things. That is true. But if we were to look at the Christian Crusades, the same could be said of the Christians. They were rapists and thieves and murderers. I cannot lay the blame the sins of some onto all. That is not a godly standard to apply. My brother is an alcoholic. I am not. So I don't want to be called one just because he is. There are many peaceful Muslims who are horrified at these crimes. Boko Harem comes to mind. The Muslims who were tortured by the Boko Harem would not want to be seen as being like them. My education continues every day. Every country (or organization) has a good twin and evil twin.
Governments - the good twin side. Those are the individuals in government who are truly fighting for the good for their country. An example I can use would be people like JFK and RFK. They do not follow globalist agenda. They are usually not easily bought and paid for. Not perfect but they love their country. They crave sovereignty.
Evil twin....those who want the globalist agenda. Who would sell their own mother to get ahead. Example: Clintons and Obamas.
I would say a fair portion of the Israeli GOVERNMENT is on the evil twin side. Many came from "jewish" families who supported Nazism....or so I've heard and read. People refer to them as Khzarian Jews.
I would expect that there are those in the government who are on good twin side. Just as we have in our government.
There are no absolutes regarding other countries. No, Iran is not ALL about raping and murdering any more than any other nation is. That is a NARRATIVE that nations like Israel, England, etc al, want people to believe. We cannot ascribe evil actions to the entirety of a country.
Quite often when Ghost is saying Israel Bad - he is saying the government evil side who actually wants to rule the entire Middle East. He isn't saying every single person is evil. It can happen sooner, if the party in power decides that would be good for them, or if there is a vote of non-confidence that brings down the government. I expect the Liberals to hold out for the full 5 years, and the Tories don't have the votes to bring forward a non-confidence vote.
Personally, like most here on Badlands, I'm hoping that UK's Reform party will manage to bring Nigel Farage into the PM slot there. People there are so upset with their 'main' historical parties, Labour, Liberals and Conservatives, that Reform has a chance. Farage was well ahead in the most recent polls I saw, but politics is a strange business especially when 'new' parties try to take on the establishment.

Tulsi’s recent releases of bio weapons research and Covid are some of the most important revelations of the duplicity and corruption of the US Government. It also confirms what all of us conspiracy theorists and vaccine deniers already knew. But the silence and lack of reaction to these admissions of the US government crimes against humanity are truly amazing to me. Even the “truther” community seems to treat these admissions as just a passing of trivial information. This basic gas lighting of this topic has me dumbfounded. These are some of the most important and relevant events that have occurred in our lifetime with the exception of 911. I for one cannot figure this out. There should be pure outrage from US citizens and the rest of the world but nothing like this has happened. I ask myself why this has been the reaction but I simply have no explanation for it.
The Overton Window has not yet opened wide enough for these matters to be addressed as they must be. There are many out there who do not want to believe that evil on this level not only exists but has been perpetuated by people of high position and respect in our governments. 'Governments' plural because this has been worldwide.
The grind wheels of justice move slowly, it has been said. (A lot of passive voice today...) Outrage cannot be manufactured or commanded, it must evolve organically if it is to have any meaningful purpose. Oh, sure, the dumocrats can rally their rent-a-rioters whenever they need a distraction, but meaningful change only happens when an upwelling of public sentiment enables and demands it.
When will that happen? We can't know that, or even IF it will happen, but one thing that is sure is that it won't happen without disclosure. Like Tulsi's disclosures last week. Even though it was readily evident at the time for anyone with eyes to see, the Machine kept telling us, "Move along. Nothing to see here." Except when it happened again, in full view, in Los Angeles recently, it was broadly called out. So far, they are sticking with their talking points; but the people know. Soon, it won't be possible to do this fraud anymore. Chuck Schumer just said that the SAVE Act, if passed, would result in 25 million democrat 'voters' being 'disenfranchised.' In other words, the democrats have 25 million fraudulent 'voters.' and they know it. (It is probably many more than that, but oh well.) Schumer ADMITTED it. On the record.
So, I believe that the evidence is accumulating in public view, and in time, people will rise up and say that collectively we've had enough. Are we there yet? No, but it is coming. And you know what Q said: Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming (NCSWIC).
I have gotten to the point where I think everything is part of an operation and wonder if the reactions in the World Cup is organic, that is without actors. Or has enough actors to generate genuine enthusiasm because humans, by nature, are tribal.

I do believe MSM is under control of the good guys and they are engineering a controlled demolition of MSM. I also believe that COVID is another big nail in their coffin. Refusal to cover Gabbard 's release will only cause more questions and will not only lead to MSM's downfall but also the credibility of the expert class. To which I say "Good Riddance. RIP." I believe part of Gabbard 's release was also a list of IC agents who are masquerading as journalists in the Big Six, including the New York Times, and that got the FCC involved.
I am involved in health care in both the human and pet side. This controlled demolition is happening. People are realizing they've been lied to and are beginning to question the food they eat, the water they drink, the air they breathe, the beef they eat and the drugs they take that result in a cascade of pharmaceutical cocktails. Although they haven't flocked to naturopaths or other providers, there is an explosion of M.D.'s going to functional medicine that espouses a more terrain theory, even though they still think germs are the bad guys. This represents a big shift because pharmaceuticals that work can be used instead of the blockbusters that cost $100,000 a year as the drugs of choice. Not everything out of big pharma is bad. What is bad is the revolving door and it looks like the FDA is slowly changing and with it more competitive pricing of controlled substances so that market mechanics enter into the equation when choosing a health care provider. Although change is slow, it is no longer a given that an M.D. will be the provider of choice.
I had surgery for a broken foot last month. When I woke up, I had nausea. Surprisingly, they gave me aromatherapy swatches, which helped. Not too long ago, that would have been poo-poo'd as quackery and they would have shoved another pill into me - and the bill. Change is definitely occurring.

Thinking there must be something, I researched everything. At long last, I found a creative veterinarian who’d tackled the same problem in dogs, who often give themselves ear hematomas. He shared his discovery (arnica cream & turmeric) which I easily made up & assigned a thrice daily application. it stained the ear orange, but it drained & is perfect.

Good question! There has not been a Nuclear bomb used in 81 years. Two were used in 1945 to end a war. So, what good comes from any country having Nuclear weapons except as a deterrent, but 90?
The Cold War was a standoff between the USA and the USSR and both sides developed more and more Nuclear capacity. This led other countries to think they needed to join the conflict. A huge amount of money and human effort were wasted chasing a false premise. All we learned is no one can ever use a Nuclear weapon.
Just as a side note, soccer is not a huge sport in Australia either. Our main football code is AFL, followed by rugby league. I, as an American, do not necessarily like Israel (evil twin). But Israel - the nation - the people? As was discussed in the Narrative last night, "the people" are not the same as the government and the picture painted about them by the media. I want the world to see Israel as we would if we went there to visit. To meet the people and see pleasant people trying to live good lives. Trying to keep evil twin / good twin separate in my mind is exhausting after awhile.
God will always love Israel because He is God. Yet, He very clearly states in His Word that Israel will be held accountable for their actions. (See Isaiah) And it will be very unpleasant. And so, in the times we are in now, I wonder -- Is God using this time as a course correction for Israel? Is this a time of God saying "Come back to me!" Do they really need to get nearly completely destroyed before they will turn back? (I know I do it too, but hopefully I am seeing it sooner.)
I cheer for the USA in their run in the World Cup. Sometimes I am sad that the only thing that will unite people is sports. But hey, it's a step in the right direction. No one knew who the political leanings of those standing around them. They were just united in the thrill of the moment. Now to once again take that pride in America and live it every single day.

Accountability - when it comes to God - is proof of His declaring and demonstrating His standards. Luke 12:48 (paraphrased) 'To whom much is given, much is required.' We see Him interacting (if we are reading to do so) with all of the nations of the Old Covenant era! And when He warns them it is because He had already told them how they were to respond to Him! That He narrowed the story by focusing on a people through whom the Messiah would come makes perfect sense; but it should not suggest to us that He loves them more - if for no other reason than He tells us so and it Is Who He is!
My take is that God definitely continues to hold Israel, the national people group, in a special position. Which, honestly, should terrify Jews, because their history demonstrates that they, as a group, are incredibly stubborn toward their God and THAT was the reason He picked them (it gives Him more glory, thereby, to work with the worst of the worst). But, they do NOT get a pass for bad behaviour, and are instead held to account and repeatedly threshed to remove bad actors and re-sanctify them.
"Threshed", applied to a people group, is a horrible, horrible word.
Further, because the Israelites are held in special consideration, they get a double-dose of satanic meddling in their affairs as a group; that is not to say every people doesn't end up in efforts to pervert them from Truth, but the Jews seem to attract the absolute worst as well as the absolute best. And, because of their tribal organization, they are not terribly good at self-cleansing.
In any event, the resurrection of Jesus initiated the time of the gentiles, in which the harvest of spiritual Israel (including national Israelites) continues, so there may be a people accrued to Christ worthy of Him. That said, no single national people group--whether gentile or Jew--is pure enough to stand prior to Christ's return. That means expecting Israeli leadership to be inherently moral is delusion, but one we've been propagandized toward for more than a century. "You will know them by their fruits" applies to anyone who claims virtue, and in that context, if you understand the fruit is rotten, would a blessing to Israel not be to prune the withered branches such that the root can bear good fruit again?
Would it not be a curse to let the tree of Israel continue in blight? Ponder this.
My conversation with the "Israel is holy" church group has been enlightening. It finally occurred to me that we are all probably saying the same thing but from different angles. They know those that don't believe on Jesus are not saved. Or I think they do.
However, they continue to defend Israel's actions. They continue to pray for God to bless Israel because of the Abrahmic covenant.
I have shared I can't ask God to bless the evil Israel perpetrates, but they blame every other nation for starting it.

I, too, have spent more than 40 years studying the Word. I can only say that God inspired Solomon to pen the idea of God delighting in us searching for a veiled answer. Many times I have dug and dug until God finally reveals. It is a beautiful process.
As far as the ideology....I think we are seeing the perversion of Islam. I do believe Islam is a false religion. But just as believers, we are not to fall for gnosticism or ant other extreme sect, the same is true for Islam. There are those who claim Islam and are doing heinous things. That is true. But if we were to look at the Christian Crusades, the same could be said of the Christians. They were rapists and thieves and murderers. I cannot lay the blame the sins of some onto all. That is not a godly standard to apply. My brother is an alcoholic. I am not. So I don't want to be called one just because he is. There are many peaceful Muslims who are horrified at these crimes. Boko Harem comes to mind. The Muslims who were tortured by the Boko Harem would not want to be seen as being like them. My education continues every day. Every country (or organization) has a good twin and evil twin.
Governments - the good twin side. Those are the individuals in government who are truly fighting for the good for their country. An example I can use would be people like JFK and RFK. They do not follow globalist agenda. They are usually not easily bought and paid for. Not perfect but they love their country. They crave sovereignty.
Evil twin....those who want the globalist agenda. Who would sell their own mother to get ahead. Example: Clintons and Obamas.

I would expect that there are those in the government who are on good twin side. Just as we have in our government.

I am not a big fan of the term “Golden Age” & cringe a bit at the mention of it (and of President Trump’s gilding of everything)…. I prefer silver; it’s more beautiful in my eyes, useful, and still. And I mentally replace the”Golden Age” with what is even more hopeful to me: “The Noble Age”.
Yet, the Declaration of Independence is “the apple of gold in the frame of silver,”as Lincoln so perfectly expressed it. And, when this extrication from the age-long tyranny we — and the world — have lived under is finished, it will be beautiful — as pure, refined gold!

This is a time of revelation. People and things are being exposed for who and what they really are. Huckabee is such a joke. He is totally bought out. I would shut off all financial and military support to both Israel and the Ukraine. Get out of NATO and bring our troops and equipment home, closing all bases. It can happen sooner, if the party in power decides that would be good for them, or if there is a vote of non-confidence that brings down the government. I expect the Liberals to hold out for the full 5 years, and the Tories don't have the votes to bring forward a non-confidence vote.
Personally, like most here on Badlands, I'm hoping that UK's Reform party will manage to bring Nigel Farage into the PM slot there. People there are so upset with their 'main' historical parties, Labour, Liberals and Conservatives, that Reform has a chance. Farage was well ahead in the most recent polls I saw, but politics is a strange business especially when 'new' parties try to take on the establishment.

Tulsi’s recent releases of bio weapons research and Covid are some of the most important revelations of the duplicity and corruption of the US Government. It also confirms what all of us conspiracy theorists and vaccine deniers already knew. But the silence and lack of reaction to these admissions of the US government crimes against humanity are truly amazing to me. Even the “truther” community seems to treat these admissions as just a passing of trivial information. This basic gas lighting of this topic has me dumbfounded. These are some of the most important and relevant events that have occurred in our lifetime with the exception of 911. I for one cannot figure this out. There should be pure outrage from US citizens and the rest of the world but nothing like this has happened. I ask myself why this has been the reaction but I simply have no explanation for it.
The Overton Window has not yet opened wide enough for these matters to be addressed as they must be. There are many out there who do not want to believe that evil on this level not only exists but has been perpetuated by people of high position and respect in our governments. 'Governments' plural because this has been worldwide.
The grind wheels of justice move slowly, it has been said. (A lot of passive voice today...) Outrage cannot be manufactured or commanded, it must evolve organically if it is to have any meaningful purpose. I am involved in health care in both the human and pet side. This controlled demolition is happening. People are realizing they've been lied to and are beginning to question the food they eat, the water they drink, the air they breathe, the beef they eat and the drugs they take that result in a cascade of pharmaceutical cocktails. Although they haven't flocked to naturopaths or other providers, there is an explosion of M.D.'s going to functional medicine that espouses a more terrain theory, even though they still think germs are the bad guys. This represents a big shift because pharmaceuticals that work can be used instead of the blockbusters that cost $100,000 a year as the drugs of choice. Not everything out of big pharma is bad. What is bad is the revolving door and it looks like the FDA is slowly changing and with it more competitive pricing of controlled substances so that market mechanics enter into the equation when choosing a health care provider. Although change is slow, it is no longer a given that an M.D. will be the provider of choice.
I had surgery for a broken foot last month. When I woke up, I had nausea. Surprisingly, they gave me aromatherapy swatches, which helped. Not too long ago, that would have been poo-poo'd as quackery and they would have shoved another pill into me - and the bill. Change is definitely occurring.

PS- Glad for your MD report. Vets can teach our MDs alot, too. Vets can learn by trying out new modalities or things that make sense, because they’ve had the latitude to use their brains. ( My beautiful brazilian jujitsuing daughter once had a burgeoning cauliflower ear. After the MD had twice drained the hematoma, & it filled again every time. He shared his discovery (arnica cream & turmeric) which I easily made up & assigned a thrice daily application. it stained the ear orange, but it drained & is perfect.
