The problem is where states mail out ballots to everyone on their roles. Having them postmarked changes nothing because the postmark isnβt the problem. Having hundreds of thousands of ballots floating around creates voter fraud with no real control.
We tend to argue the wrong points. Or, is that intentional?

I am not sure how important the engine is: whether Chinese or American made. I think what matters is how the engine learns what is true or not. If done right according to rules based in truth, the AI can obsolete many high paying professions, mostly the middleman: coders, technicians, paralegals, reading things like medical imaging, real estate agents, logistic planners for package delivery, travel agents, just to name a few. It can also even the playing field in things that are normally rigged, like stock market trading. It can also pick out fraud, as I think DOGE was done by AI with quantum computers. I included real estate agents because real estate is a profession that is riddled with excessive layers of middlemen and deception that rigs the game in favor of sellers. You can get rid of the IRS using AI and pick out SS fraud using it. AI excels at pattern matching, but the rules must be done by ethical people who are not paid by the entities with power to micromanage people's lives. Do you trust China to do this? Do you trust big tech? I trust neither, so I am watching this AI thing escalate so people begin to understand that AI is no less biased than the creators of it, whether Chinese or the US. government.
I think if we want to use AI, it is to use it for specific tasks like reading X-rays, or coding, but for now avoid tasks that require some level of human interaction like treatment plans or showing homes as the human interaction adds a personal touch to the transaction that will lead to better outcomes.

It seems that the Middle East will be the Middle East -- regardless of the country and situation. People will be people. Iran and Iraq seemingly aligned again -- or always? I wonder what MBS will do with this situation. He has been very quiet through all of this -- at least as reported in the media. It seems that this could be part of Trump letting the Middle East give their power back to the Middle East....so to speak. If Trump can keep up from once again being the world's policeman, I will be happy.
Elections - the changes within the left parties makes me think of the phrase -- things will get worse before they get better. Let the rabble continue the insanity until even the inmates think it is too crazy. That will make the rest of us palatable and reasonable.....(and right???) I would like to hope to be seen as true, but that is less likely because of RINO's, etc.
This makes me wonder if this whole DSA winning specific Democrat primaries is engineered but not by the Deep State. Voters continually fall for the gaslighting of the Clown-backed candidates (or agents) and vote these Clown operatives into power. There is no way that the DSA can gaslight people into voting for them because they are 'moderates'. This is another way to wake us up to stop voting D just because they always have.
I think the DSA is real, and the allegations have some merit. While the split narrative is done mostly through Politico, that doesn't make it false. Like other organizations, it was infiltrated to come out in the open and engage in seditious language that resonated with groups of people, even though its visible presence is mostly on college campuses. I also think that part of the intent is to vote out the DNC-DS controlled Mafia in Congress, but with candidates that can't even masquerade as one whose values resonate with those on the left (not the radicals who have been weaponized by the DNC). Trump can't legitimately stop these candidates, so the white hats or whatever you want to call them are ramping up the optical war in the D party to do what Trump is doing to the R party: primarying out the treasonous Congress peope. After the election, it remains to be seen how many Zionists remain.
To me, it is another way of primarying out the crooks; these DSA candidates may be treasonous as well, but it wrecks the media and the DNC talking points to the point where large swaths of anyone but Trump voters go through cognitive dissonance that may result in them declaring themselves as non-affiliated voters and worse for the Democrat leadership to sit out the midterms. Their cheating requires a certain turnout of loyal voters. If that turnout falls below expectation, the cheating fails.
I just listened to a fairly lengthy discussion about the success of the DSA in America. The key word that they all agreed upon was βAffordabilityβ. Mamdani in NYC glommed onto this theme and it resonated with the ignorant NY voters. They all agreed that affordability in NYC sucks! So, making its repair a campaign guarantee sold well.
No one in that discussion made the connection that is needed. Why does affordability suck in New York? Democrat leadership for decades! So, the new DSA party has the cure for the old Democrat Partyβs mess! I find this to be hilarious, but of the five panelists not a single one made this point. All they did was point to the fact that Socialism fails everywhere it is tried.
That pitch will not sell! Look at NYC! It is still there and going with its Socialism in control. It hasnβt failed there has it? So, the DSA blames the old Democrats for not doing enough to fix the affordability crisis.
Stupid people can be led to do stupid things. Inflation is what created the crisis and the Democrats borrowing and spending on giving free stuff away at the expense of the tax payers is what created the inflation. But, who understands this?
To me this is the problem in NYC. But it is also the problem everywhere else in America. If we donβt get smart about our real problems we are going to fail. America is under attack by an enemy that knows how to fight dirty. It is deeply embedded into our society and very few even know it is here.

I'm not an election expert, neither a πΊπ² lawyer, but I wonder IF SCOTUS didnβt simply issue a ruling intended to encourage Congress to properly legislate on this issue at both the national level (federal elections) and the state level (local elections).
This would leave the court some leeway for future adjudication...
That seems more consistent AND constructive to me than simply blocking a questionable provision when it would be possible to reform this entire issue through the legislative process that represents βWe the Peopleβ π€π€
The problem is actually in the definition of βmail in ballotsβ. Absentee ballots are mailed in legally in every state I know about. They must already be postmarked on or prior to Election Day. So the SCOTUS just did absolutely nothing in most states.
The problem is where states mail out ballots to everyone on their roles. Having them postmarked changes nothing because the postmark isnβt the problem. Having hundreds of thousands of ballots floating around creates voter fraud with no real control.
We tend to argue the wrong points. Or, is that intentional?
Knowing the voter is a legal citizen and casing his own vote is necessary. That cannot be achieved with a mass mailing of ballots. But, if a state chooses to do this, the laws do not prohibit it because the Constitution puts the state in charge of running its elections.
You grasped the core of βourβ problem (again)! Why do we argue the wrong points! I live in a state with solid absentee voting policies! It wouldnβt change a thing here. Only in the states that cheat massively.
It will be interesting to see what this (IMO) unconstitutional ruling brings. It will likely not be what we expect.
I am not sure how important the engine is: whether Chinese or American made. I think what matters is how the engine learns what is true or not. If done right according to rules based in truth, the AI can obsolete many high paying professions, mostly the middleman: coders, technicians, paralegals, reading things like medical imaging, real estate agents, logistic planners for package delivery, travel agents, just to name a few. It is also way to phase these out, as once you get the middlemen out, costs for professional services including legal come way down and interaction with experts can become more transactional, and less likely to be manipulated to go in a certain direction.
It can also even the playing field in things that are normally rigged, like stock market trading. It can also pick out fraud, as I think DOGE was done by AI with quantum computers. I included real estate agents because real estate is a profession that is riddled with excessive layers of middlemen and deception that rigs the game in favor of sellers. You can get rid of the IRS using AI and pick out SS fraud using it. AI excels at pattern matching, but the rules must be done by ethical people who are not paid by the entities with power to micromanage people's lives. Do you trust China to do this? Do you trust big tech? I trust neither, so I am watching this AI thing escalate so people begin to understand that AI is no less biased than the creators of it, whether Chinese or the US. government.
I think if we want to use AI, it is to use it for specific tasks like reading X-rays, or coding, but for now avoid tasks that require some level of human interaction like treatment plans or showing homes as the human interaction adds a personal touch to the transaction that will lead to better outcomes.
