My understanding of Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the way days were marked by the Jews in circa 30 AD (as we now mark years) accepts that Jesus' body would be in the tomb of the rich man on this day of that week (the 6th day). And that Jesus Himself would be fulfilling the type declared in Lev.16:20-22 when all off the sins of all of the people are laid upon the "goat of removal" (scapegoat) and sent into a solitary place to dispose of those sins and iniquities. (Tradition holds that the man who was appointed to lead the scapegoat out would take it to a steep cliff, an abyss.) Paul explains that Jesus BECAME sin by taking on all the sins that were or are ever committed (though He knew no sins Himself). That doing so resulted in the Father turning His face from Jesus - a miracle so profound we can hardly relate to it.
Over the next two days that fulfillment will result in His justification by the Father (He knew no sin!) and in Him, thereby conquering, the second death - for which the Father will raise Him from the first death. After which He will be seen, will ascend to the Father (the first time) to deliver His sinless blood to the real Mercy Seat in heaven, before showing Himself to His disciples and revealing His wounds from which no blood was present - for He is now flesh and bone!

He no longer sees our sins nor remembers them once He has forgiven them. That was the sole reason Christ gave up his life on the cross - to win for us a way to be forgiven and accepted into Heaven.
There is no better time, nor will there ever be, to be accepted as a child of God and have a heart and soul as light as a feather.
What an unimaginable tragedy that the Jewish people refuse to see the beauty and profound ecstasy in this miracle of all miracles. That all their trials and suffering are for naught and their souls are doomed to torment grieves our Lord beyond measure. Regarding Rubio, "Little Marco" as Trump referred to him in the primaries in 2016, I heard on a podcast awhile back that Trump gave Rubio an exit ramp from his previous position on the "Gang of Eight", which had included no name McCain. I read this with Tucker’s Wednesday comments in mind.
It is agreed there is a narrative in place, and after listening to Tucker on Wednesday, I began to wonder if he is part of distraction.
Just some barcalounger musings:
- The attack on Iran would inevitably lead to the closure/restriction of Hormuz - affecting many nations, leaving the global economy weakened. This was a no-brainer given. But the attack commenced anyway. What was that all about? Why would any attacking nation(s) walk into that “trap,” as it were?
-DJT, in his speech this week, hints at withdrawing from NATO, and challenges NATO to come get their needed oil, because, in truth, America did not need any of it. In other words, it was now a NATO / East problem. In fact, it had always been a looming problem, with Iran and special groups controlling Hormuz.
- Was he calling out the East to solve the problem of the East? Come together and create your own hegemonic Eastern Hemisphere - and deal with your rogues and renegades?
- At the same time, was he harkening back to his call for a hegemonic united Western Hemisphere? A call that was mocked. And, sometime later he invoked the “Donroe” Doctrine which pointed to existential threats, in particular from the two neighbouring countries: Mexico with its controling cartels, and own sense of hegemony in reclaiming US lands; and Canada with a socialist government, drug cartels, terrorist groups, open borders, and Chinese incursion and influence.
- Is the Don’s end game the East and West full Hemispheric hegemonies, each minding their own houses in isolation? You do you. I’ll do me?
- As a Canuck, unless things shift radically - and soon - in this nation, I would welcome 51st state status, along with membership in a “Western Hemisphere.”

Regarding Rubio, "Little Marco" as Trump referred to him in the primaries in 2016, I heard on a podcast awhile back that Trump gave Rubio an exit ramp from his previous position on the "Gang of Eight", which had included no name McCain. I had my doubts about Rubio for a long time, too. But since becoming Sec of State, his work has been impressive. (I love the memes they make about him, the costumes he wears 😅). I've also heard Dr. Jan Halper-Hayes speak highly of him since becoming SecState. Trump does know how to put people to effective use, and who knows, maybe there is genuine trust and respect between them. The illusion is definitely convincing. Hegseth also appears legit, although I have wondered about him, too. I think the fact there was so much resistance to his nomination tells me Trump brought in someone with military creds, but not someone compromised by the DS. (Milley, we see you.)
