Daniel and the lions’ den is a good illustration of what is happening today. Those who didn’t want Daniel to govern them, due to their corruption, plotted to use the law to have him destroyed. They found an occasion in his faith to bring him down. It’s the same with Christians in western nations. Part of the reason for enacting laws to change sexual norms and to promote transgenderism is because it is clear that Christians in good conscience cannot agree to these things. Christians are then found to be against the law and prosecuted. Otherwise, Christians are innocent by and large (in comparison to the major crimes) and cannot be taken down in a society.
Even though Daniel was innocent before God and before the king of Persia, the law was craftily used against him, and the king, though he loved Daniel, could not abrogate his own law. Daniel’s final innocence proved the motives of those who tried to kill him, and so they were thrown into the lions’ den. They fell into the pit they dug for Daniel.
The same is happening in America to Trump today. Criminals have charged him falsely with every law in the book. Trump is innocent, if not in the same terms Daniel was innocent, but at least before the law of America and in his intentions for the good of Americans and the good of other people. He is not a criminal. But these criminals want to destroy Trump because Trump has come to clear these criminals out of the system of politics, law, media, and corporate corruption. But Trump and those good authorities working with him, are encouraging this legal onslaught against him, knowing it shall clear his name and expose the intentions of the criminals. These criminals will then fall into the pit they are digging for Trump. In that they have thrown the book at the highest office in the land, a sitting and former president, then they themselves are now also open to full prosecution under the same law and constitution, with the full approval of society, whose eyes have been opened.
This is what is coming. This is the next and last act in this play. The criminals (and there are many) will fall into the pit they have dug for the innocent. The same will happen for Christians. Society, by and large, will notice the evil done against them, how laws have been made to take down people who are good for society, and Christians shall be exonerated and approved by the nations. Revival has already started. Such attacks against us always go before a revival that cannot be stopped. Evil only serves to make the light shine brighter. You better be on the right side, not just for this life, but also for the life to come.
