I was thinking the same thing. Either a.) he is a really good actor trying to avoid prosecution; b.) this is all part of the movie we are watching and he being told to act incompetent; or c.) he truly is dementia ridden and if that is the situation, then it is a sick case of elder abuse. I watched my father cognitively decline from a sharp mind to dementia before he passed and it was heart wrenching. I would never wish that upon anyone! Concerning the Passing of the Bill in the Senate that will fund Ukraine into the indefinite future that the Uniparty tried to pass on Super Bowl Weekend and in the dark of night so they could set the impeachment trap for Trump's next administration.
Everyone is losing their minds over Sen. Grassley, Cornyn, and Kennedy voting to make sure this Bill passed the Senate.
Think about it, if these Senators had not voted YES for this Bill then it would have failed, and we would never have learned about the impeachment trap hidden inside.
I think these Senators did like Trump and took some arrows for the team to make sure the Uniparty could not try and successfully sneak this impeachment trap into another Bill that is so well hidden we won't see it until it's too late.

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (KJV)
I do believe we are too eager to parse the Word of God into "favorites". By topic we should read from our chapter 6 verse 10 to our verse 20 (which includes an example of how to use prayer as one of our two offensive weapons (along with the Word of God).
You are correct; these searches are most often made by folks who are just getting their feet wet with Scripture. I find it interesting because this means that people are waking up to the idea of evil in the world and where it comes from.
As these folks become more aware and curious, they will start to read not just a key verse, but the whole context. Eph 6 is not that long of a chapter to read the whole thing, and as you point out correctly, one doing so will gain a much more nuanced and complete understanding of what Paul is talking about. I have concluded from what I have seen that any church that has been around long enough to become part of a 'denomination,' where that denomination has a central authority (archdiocese, presbytery, council, synod...) is corrupted. Even the Congregational church became part of the United Church of Christ back in 1957 IIRC, and the UCC is among the wokest, most corrupted groups around. The Congregational model of local control has long ago been lost.
There are some groups -- the Evangelical Free Churches of America (EFCA) is one -- where the local congregations still have significant control of their church and its polity. There is a small central organization, which from what I can tell has its primary purpose in assisting local churches find pastors, and resolving issues in those relationships.
The lesson in this is that any powerful, centralized organization has become a target for [them], and is likely corrupted. Churches are not only not exempt from this; they are one of [their] primary targets. Churches and schools are the best way to attack and degrade a moral society.

I resonate far more with a philosophical (one reason I love BB) and metaphysical / spiritual language and focus for interpreting and understanding the day-to-day news than I do with just catching the latest. (BB would call it the more comfy 40ft view)
