I wanted to get the one with the little star that allows you to fly around the country without a passport BUT because I did not bring a bill with me to prove where I live (even though it's on my old license and I had to fill out a form for the new license with my address) they would not give me the new license!!!! But, but illegals are getting free licenses in Massachusetts!! What a disgusting state this really is. Too old and been here my whole life to move now!!
What a good point. It took me three tries to get a driver's license when we moved to Colorado in 2020 because of the Real ID requirements. And now, Colorado is also one of those "just show up if you are here illegally" states, too.
I guess what really pisses me off about it, is it's so "in you face" and they don't care! To stand there and tell me I can't get the new license because I didn't bring a bill with me to PROVE where I live but ILLEGALS, just come on in and will give you a license to drive illegally is just....I don't what, DISGUSTING!!
