Based upon how you’ve described the movie, it seems extremely plausible you are correct as every other ‘psychological tool’ describes children as being ‘ripe’ or obviously groomed for the taking. I would never realized English wasn’t your first language! I always loved French and first studied it in 4th grade. Europe schools are better at consistent language teaching.
