Trump hosts Qatari leaders, hails their desire for Mideast peace
Former US president Donald Trump met earlier today with Qatari Emir Tamim Al Thani and Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
In a Truth Social post revealing the meeting, Trump hails the leadership of Qatar, which has come under attack from many Republican lawmakers over the past year for hosting Hamas and its bankrolling of the Al Jazeera news network.
Qatar argues that the request to open a Hamas bureau in Doha came from the US, which has under Democrat and Republican administrations supported its continued operations. The Biden administration has been particularly complimentary of Qatar’s efforts to mediate between Israel and Hamas in the ongoing Gaza war.
“The emir has proven to be a great and powerful leader of his country, advancing on all levels at record speed,” Trump says in his Truth Social post.
“He is someone also who strongly wants peace in the Middle East and all over the world,” the Republican presidential nominee continues. “We had a great relationship during my time in the White House, and it will be even stronger this time around!” — Times of Israel

'The IDF is ready': Maj.-Gen. says Israeli ground forces may enter Lebanon
"It is entirely possible that the IDF will need to enter Lebanon on the ground," Former Commander of the IDF General Staff Corps, Maj.-Gen. (Res.) Gershon Hacohen said on Monday.
This comes against the backdrop of the IDF's preemptive strikes on terror targets deep inside Lebanon and concerns about Hezbollah's response. As northern Israel remains on high alert, Hacohen speculated on the potential direction of Israel's activity and addressed the possibility of a ground maneuver in Lebanon.
"There is no choice; we must, by any means, return the evacuated residents to their homes," Hacohen told 103FM. "The state is struggling to achieve this, given the continual fighting with Hezbollah. Israel has realized that its actions until now cannot bring the residents back home, and so it must change tack."
Regarding the United States' position on the developing conflict, Hacohen said, "President Biden is still trying to make all sides de-escalate. The Americans are afraid of a conflict that could destabilize the region and lead to Iranian intervention. They want us to show restraint. While American interests are respected, there whole of Israel is expecting a solution." — Jerusalem Post
Our Take: Qatar is quite the enigma. It serves as home to the leadership of a number of Deep State proxy groups—including the Muslim Brotherhood (MI6) and Hamas—and also is huge hub for the CIA and MI6, their NGO's (many of which are run by retired State Department and CIA officials), as well as the US military. With the closing of Bagram in Afghanistan in 2021, Qatar now hosts the largest US military base in the Middle East at Al Udeid.
The rest of the Middle East developed bad blood with the Qataris after the Arab Spring in 2011, when it became obvious that Qatar was connected to the orchestrated "revolutions," as the Qatar-based media outlet, Al Jazeera (purportedly a Muslim Brotherhood outlet, which probably means it's connected to London, too), became the main cheerleader for the color revolutions.
In June 2017—one month after President Trump visited Riyadh and received the legendary sword dance—then Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) was named Crown Prince by his father, King Salman, usurping longtime CIA ally Mohammed bin Nayef in a dramatic display of power projection by the emerging Sovereign Alliance.
One of MBS's first orders of business was to launch an embargo against Qatar, back by President Trump and Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed, as well as Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain, and a number of African nations. Not only did MBS cut all diplomatic and economic ties with Qatar, ordering all the ports in Saudi and the UAE to refuse to receive Qatari ships, he also closed the border with the peninsula nation, effectively making it an island. MBS then sought to make it a literal island, when he announced his intention to construct (expand an existing) canal along the border, issuing an RFP (Request for proposal) to contractors in the region to make the Salwa Canal project a reality.
MBS's motive, as he stated, was that he (and Trump) believed that Qatar was a terrorist haven, allowing villains like the CIA and ISIS to conduct psychological warfare operations through outlets such as Al Jazeera.
So his plan was to wrap his diplomatic fingers around Qatar's peninsular neck and choke the life out of it.
The net effect was that it drove Qatar deeper into a relationship with Iran, with whom it had also been feuding.
A few months later, in September, Trump hosted Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During his address, Trump noted that he and Tamim had actually known each other a long time—"which may surprise some people"—and promised to bring a resolution to the dispute between the neighbors.
MBS abandoned his canal project, but the embargo remained in place for several years, right up until January 4, 2021, when President Trump negotiated a reconciliation between the two countries just two weeks before leaving office. (I have to imagine that Putin also played a role in facilitating a resolution between Tamim and MBS.
But the timing of this meeting with Tamim at Mar-a-Lago (where he reiterated their longtime friendship) coincides with Netanyahu's declaration of war against Hezbollah, which he posted yesterday on X.
As Netanyahu prepares to invade Lebanon—thumbing his nose at General Michael Kurilla, Combatant Commander of CENTCOM—Trump is rekindling his bromance with the nation that Netanyahu has long accused of financing Hamas. (in reality, Bibi was likely working with specific elements in Qatar to support Hamas over Fatah.)
Politico also revealed, in 2019, that Qatar had hired Corey Lewandowski to help build ties with the Trump administration. For now, Qatar remains an enigma, and Donald Trump—master of deception—is throwing smoke in every direction.
Xi Jinping has also announced that all Chinese citizens should immediately leave Israel.
Is Xi just being prudent, or does he know that something is about to go down? Could it be that the Rothschild's proxy state, which has long been considered untouchable—especially ever since JFK was murdered—is about to be gobsmacked?
And will it be Putin who leads the calvary charge? —
Trump Plans to Hammer China Buying American Farmland: ‘We Have to Have Control of Our Land’
Former President Donald Trump, the GOP nominee for president in this year’s election, told Breitbart News exclusively that on Monday in Pennsylvania, he intends to light up Chinese Communist Party (CCP) efforts to buy American farmland out from underneath the United States.
“We have to have control of our land,” Trump said in a nearly hour-long phone interview with Breitbart News on Sunday afternoon. “We have to have control of our economy. We have to have control of our borders. We have to make sure we’re in charge of our own country. We’re losing that with these people, these unbelievable so-called leaders we have. They’re allowing our country to be sold out from under us. We have to be very careful and we have to be very prudent. We can’t let this happen. Do you think China would let us go in and buy their land and do what they do? I don’t think so, okay. It won’t happen. So we have to be very careful.”
China and Chinese companies buying up land in the United States has been a rising concern for many years. The CCP and its affiliated entities have been buying up farmland from coast to coast, including near military bases. The issue cropped up big time in connection with the Chinese spy balloon that was first spotted over Montana and then flew across the entire country. Of course, while that happened, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris just allowed the CCP’s surveillance balloon to traverse the entire continental United States until Biden finally ordered the Air Force to shoot it down once it crossed over South Carolina off the coast into the Atlantic Ocean. Senators have been warning about this for years, including Trump’s running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) and Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR). — Breitbart
Our Take: Remember ‘Farm Aid,’ the concert charity cofounded by Willie Nelson in 1985 to raise awareness and funding for American family farming? From their website:
‘We know that to keep family farmers on the land we have to increase the number of people buying their good food. From our annual concert event that features family farm food and unites farmers, artists, and concerned citizens, to our inspiring and informative tv, radio, mail and web campaigns…we are building a powerful movement for good food from family farms.’
Farm aid continues to thrive as family farms continue to go out of business…and most, if not all, of the stars headlining the 2024 event also support Kamala Harris, Democrats, and the status quo of the global regime.
It’s almost like the narrative is detached from the actual when it comes to celebrity priorities for American families. Farm Aid was also co-founded by Neil Young, by the way. Young is an America-hating Canadian.
President Trump is gaining support across all domains and demographics because the people who live in the real world recognize the distinctly different strategy he pursued during his first term. And they want more of that. I don’t know of any regular American that wants to expand foreign ownership of US farm land. It’s 100% the opposite.
Foreigners buying American farmland — whether it’s the imperialist Chinese, creepy Canadians or anyone else outside our borders — is not just bad for American farms, it’s bad for American families, American food, and American industry. It’s selling out our resources to the highest bidder. It’s increasing imports unnecessarily, which is degrading our food supply, making us all sick.
Farm Aid is living its best life, year over year, expanding in parallel with the destruction of America’s agricultural systems and food supply chain, in parallel with the loss of generational family farms and the expansion of foreign capture.
It’s a shame. I like a lot of these guys’ music, but their results indicate the American people should refuse to give them another dime. Many such cases with NGOs. They’re literally the worst at accomplishing stated objectives.
Reclaiming American farmland is a big part of how we make America healthy again. And that’s a big part of how we make America great again.
No over indulgent concert required. Just vote for the change you want to see in the world. Vote for Trump. —
Macron calls for new world order
French President Emmanuel Macron has called for reform of the current “unjust” world order so that humans can coexist more peacefully.
He outlined his vision on Sunday as part of the international ‘Imagining Peace’ gathering in Paris, which brought together leading political and religious figures.
Speaking before the Catholic community of Sant’Egidio, Macron said “We must be imaginative enough to think about the peace of tomorrow, a peace in Europe in a new form.”
If the European continent is to become more stable, everyone should acknowledge that it is “neither quite the EU, nor resolutely NATO,” he stated.
“We will have to think of a new form of organization for Europe and rethink our relationship with Russia” after the Ukraine conflict is over, the president added.
Macron has sent mixed messages regarding the hostilities between Russia and Ukraine as the conflict evolved over the years. In 2022, he drew criticism from fellow Western officials for urging them not to “humiliate” Russia. In early 2024, he said the West should not rule out the deployment of NATO troops on Ukrainian soil – a proposal that multiple other national leaders have rejected.
The speech comes as Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is set to meet US President Joe Biden to present his so-called ‘victory plan’ – a purported roadmap to pressuring Russia into conceding defeat. He wants permission to conduct long-range strikes deep inside Russia with Western weapons as part of the plan. — RT
Our Take: I cited the RT article because they nailed the headline—and because it triggers the losers at the State Department—but the AP actually provides the meat and potatoes for this meal.
In a nearly two-hour speech at Sorbonne University in Paris, Macron said that the continent is divided and “too slow and lacks ambition” at a time when the 27-member European Union needs to become a superpower, defend its own borders and speak with one voice if it wants to survive and thrive.
‘Our ability to ensure our security is at stake,” Macron said. “Russia mustn’t be allowed to win.”
The last line about Russia is a tired bit, hardly original, but that first part about being "too slow" and "lacking ambition" is, ironically, the rhetoric of ascending tyrants. (Ironic, but not surprising.)
“Europe must become capable of defending its interests, with its allies by our side whenever they are willing, and alone if necessary,” Macron said.
Sounds like something Netanyahu would say. In fact:
It's almost as if we are watching the same conflict play out in multiple theaters. Both are self-inflicted, unforced errors.
Strong armies, a European rapid intervention program and force, tanks, a missile shield and other weapons, produced in Europe, will need the support of “a joint diplomatic force that will speak with one voice and build bridges with Africa and Latin America,” the French leader said.
Au contraire mon frère—on the contrary, my brother. You see, those are our homies in Africa, as we have regaled many times on this Brief, and they have organized against this dysgenic growth that has been gestating in Davos and Brussels. The thing that Monsieur Enculé is describing above—whatever it may be.
The Prime Minister of Chad just said that the US military, who left the country back in May, is not coming back.
As the Sputnik article stipulates, the government of Chad has no quarrel with the US military; it is the French military that the people of Chad consider a hostile adversary, and are demanding its expulsion.
If/when Chad does expel the French military, it will mean that for the first time since 1659—when the French first built a port in what is now Senegal—France will not have a military presence on the continent of Africa. Chad is the last bastion of French imperialism.
For context, here is what Africa looked like during World War One.
So, no, I'm afraid there won't be any "bridges" being built in Africa, Macron. (And by "bridges," he means violent coups and destabilizing color revolutions.) A big factor for that is the Wagner Group, who has been on the continent for the past several years, along with the Russian military, training security forces to counter those "security forces" (terrorists and tyrants) trained by NATO and the EU.
Funny enough, those same two groups (Wagner/Russia) are in both the Israel theater and the Ukraine theater.
Here's what Vladimir Putin has to say about Macron and his friends. —
Lavrov Explained What Russia Hopes To Achieve By Talking About Its Red Lines
Lavrov gave an insightful interview to Sky News Arabia in which he explained what Russia hopes to achieve by talking about its red lines.
The Mainstream Media (MSM) is convinced that they’re meaningless and that all such ones can be crossed without fear of World War III, while the Alt-Media Community (AMC) interprets all such rhetoric as hinting at a nuclear response in that event.
It turns out that they’re both half-right and half-wrong per what Lavrov revealed about his country’s calculations:
“They (the West) really seem to have a child’s mentality, even though they are adults holding positions of responsibility: ministers, prime ministers, chancellors, presidents, etc.
For several months now, there has been this discourse about Russia only threatening and mentioning some ‘red lines’, which the West keeps crossing and nothing happens.
…
We talk about the ‘red lines’ in the hope that our assessments and statements will be heard by clever decision-makers.
It is silly to say that we will push the red button, if tomorrow you fail to do as I demand. I am confident that the decision-makers are aware of what we mean in these situations. No one wants a nuclear war.
We said this time and again. Let me assure you that we have weapons whose use will involve grave consequences for the masters of the Ukrainian regime.”
As a reminder, Putin famously described NATO’s expansion into Ukraine as crossing a red line for Russia during his speech on 24 February 2022 announcing the start of Russia’s special operation. — Andrew Korybko
Our Take: For the latest bit of signal coming out of the Russian theater, Sergey Lavrov managed to touch on some of the deepest layers of the Info War while remaining vague.
"We talk about the ‘red lines’ in the hope that our assessments and statements will be heard by clever decision-makers.
It is silly to say that we will push the red button, ... I am confident that the decision-makers are aware of what we mean in these situations. No one wants a nuclear war."
By addressing "red lines,' Lavrov bumps up against Devolution framing without crossing over. And if you think I'm reading too much into that, he follows it up by referring to "decision-makers" in the US working to avert the very war the Globalist Hegemon is trying to provoke.
This mirrors similar comments made by Putin months ago, when he said, "(In the U.S.) there are enough specialists in the field of Russian-American relations and in the field of strategic restraint."
War will NOT happen, but the STORY of the war is inevitable. —
"The Biggest Wild Card In The Presidential Election": Just Days Left Until A Crippling Port Strike Paralyzes The East Coast
Late last week, the CEO of Flexport - one of largest US supply-chain logistics operators - warned that "the biggest wild card in the presidential election that nobody’s talking about? The looming port strike that could shut down all East and Gulf Coast ports just 36 days before the election.”
With just over a week to go until D-Day, authorities are gearing up as a threatened strike by dockworkers at ports along the East Coast and Gulf Coast draws closer.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is "coordinating with partners across the supply chain to prepare for any impacts" from a possible work stoppage by workers represented by the International Longshoremen's Association as they negotiate with the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX), a Port Authority spokesperson told CBS MoneyWatch on Friday.
"We urge both sides to find common ground and keep the cargo flowing for the good of the national economy," added the spokesperson, noting that $240 billion in goods move through the two ports each year and that such trade supports more than 600,000 local jobs. — ZeroHedge
Our Take: As we’ve been discussing on the brief since the DNCC, labor and the rights of American workers are only second to abortion as democrats’ top issue in 2024. It’s a strategic misstep for Democrats to focus on labor. Here’s why:
Over 300 labor strikes adorned 2023, and workers achieved only short term deals and pie crust promises before returning to work. Worse, the administration keeps touting ‘15 million jobs!’ while dismissing the reality that many of the (less than 15M) jobs created are people’s second and third jobs. They had to get second and third jobs because their dollars are worth less. Their dollars are worth less because of Harris and the Democrats’ economic policy.
Last week, the Teamsters refused to endorse Kamala after their members overwhelmingly came out for Trump. This week, the Longshoreman are preparing to strike — a wrecking ball for the US economy and Democrat electoral changes.
Expect Democrat messaging on corporate greed to amp up as they attempt to thwart another crisis. This, too, will backfire. Don’t bullshit a longshoreman in NY or NJ and expect it to go well for you.
Speaking of, what do you want bet that Trump has a history of successfully negotiating with this union? Is there another endorsement coming?
Also, speaking of endorsements, Mayor Ghalib — the Arab-American Mayor in Hamtramck, Michigan we discussed in a prior Brief — actually came out with a full endorsement of Trump.
He’s up in every demographic. We are nowhere near a 50/50 country, and that is undeniable at this point.

South Korea issues military threat to North
South Korea’s military has pledged a “stern” response if North Korea “crosses the line” with its campaign of sending trash-filled balloons onto its neighbor’s territory, local media reported on Monday. The two countries have been deploying balloons as part of their long-running confrontation.
The warning on Monday came after a barrage launched by Pyongyang between Sunday evening and early Monday morning led to flight suspensions at South Korea’s main international airport, according to NK News.
The spokesperson for Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), Col. Lee Sung-jun, said at a press briefing that the military viewed such incidents as “having a higher level of risk,” the Yonhap news agency reported.
“If serious danger is caused to the safety of our citizens or if the North is assessed to have crossed the line, our military will take stern military measures,” Lee was quoted as saying.
The spokesperson declined to elaborate when asked what such a “line” would be. The military does not consider the balloons a serious threat to public safety “as long as there are no fatalities,” he added, according to NK News. — RT
Our Take: Poop balloons are back, baby!
Kim Jong Un devised this devastating tactic back in May, a month after South Korea sent 20 large balloons filled with leaflets criticizing Un into North Korea. Not only did the balloons carry over 300,000 leaflets, but also 2,000 USB sticks containing "K-pop content," a reference to South Korea pop music.
Real funny, guys. Soooo good. But you know what's even funnier? Poop balloons.
This is like something out of a 1980's American teenage comedy, where the straight-laced kids (antagonists) think they are pulling a clever prank on the motley crew of misfits (protagonists), only for the motley crew to respond with a far more humiliating and hilarious prank. (The film Animal House comes to mind, where the character, D-Day, tells Flounder, "Don't get mad. Get even.")
And while you may think it a bit silly for Rocket Man to dedicate resources to this diabolical scheme, it's not nearly as silly or embarrassing as the amount of resources Reuters has dedicated to reporting on it. They have meticulously tracked every "wave" of North Korean attacks (I think we are on wave 12), not only establishing a count of total defecation dirigibles sent (over 6,000);
but also flight patterns and termination points of the balloons (shown in maps);
as well as an unreasonable amount of animated graphics of cartoon [poop/trash] balloons exploding as you scroll through the article.
They actually paid somebody to draw this.
Truly, the data and analytics they have generated for the poop balloon onslaught is impressive.
They also apparently sent their investigators out into the field to perform autopsies on the fecal ordinance, measuring the size and varity of trash found in the packages.
Gross, guys. I think you took the joke a bit too far. Imagine if you applied this level of effort to election integrity, government corruption, or Jeffrey Epstein?
Also, I hope yall washed your hands.
No wonder the corporate media recently branded Rocket Man as Putin's "most dangerous ally." Because a man who is prepared to engage in unrestricted feculence warfare is a man who cannot be reasoned with, even by the very serious people who contributed to that Reuters article.
PS - Apparently, Rocket Man has also been testing new ballistic missiles with "super large" warheads, and to that I say, of course he is.
Trumpamania is exactly SIX WEEKS away. Did you really think Rocket Man wouldn't be doing promotional materials for the event? It's called "marketing and advertising," ever heard of it? The Donald needs him at his best, and the pageantry pumping on all cylinders.
PSS - If I’m ever killed by a poop balloon, just report it as a COVID death. Fauci can have that one. —
Czech man arrested after shattering Ai Weiwei's 'Porcelain Cube'
A man shattered a sculpture by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei on Friday during the opening of his exhibition at Palazzo Fava in the Italian city of Bologna, a spokesperson for the show said.
Footage from CCTV cameras – posted on Ai Weiwei's Instagram account – showed a man vigorously pushing the sculpture over, breaking it and then holding a piece of it over his head.
The sculpture targeted was the artist's large blue and white "Porcelain Cube," the spokesperson said.
The exhibit's curator, Arturo Galansino, said the perpetrator was well-known in the art world.
"Unfortunately, I know the author of this inconsiderate gesture from a series of disturbing and damaging episodes over the years involving various exhibitions and institutions in Florence," said Galansino.
The police in Bologna said a 57-year-old Czech man had been arrested after being stopped by the museum's security. The police could not immediately be reached for comment. — Daily Sabah
Our Take: A perpetrator only describe by media, globally, as ‘a Czech man,’ was arrested over the weekend for smashing a Chinese artist’s exhibition in Bologna.
The exhibition was entitled ‘the porcelain cube,’ and is said to be an examination of AI and its impacts on tradition and culture. The artist is also named Ai, and apparently the perpetrator is well known for smashing art. At least according to the organizer of the art exhibition.
A couple things stand out.
‘The exhibition functions as a door to fundamental questions about authenticity, the transformation of value systems throughout the different eras and the role of art in influencing social change.’
And he’s celebrated by the elite art community. I’m instantly skeptical of Ai’s intentions in his artistic rendition of the virtues of AI.
That being said, it’s the lack of information about the allegedly infamous art critic that makes this story interesting. When US media describes a criminal as ‘a man’ — which they did in this case prior to Sunday, when they upgraded their descriptor to ‘a Czech man’ — it’s usually because they want to hide his identity or other important details. Likewise, when they want to highlight such features, they’re in the headline.
Nothing about a motive or his prior destructive acts. Nothing to provide context, which leaves us to speculate. So, I’ll speculate.
Maybe the Czech man is protesting the lack of consent in the ‘transformation of value systems throughout the different eras and the role of art in influencing social change.’ Or maybe he just hates Ai and AI.
We don’t get to know. I’m so disillusioned with the media, though, that I’m pretty sure the Czech man is the hero of the story. —

Election Meddling? Zelensky Stumps For Harris On Taxpayer Dime
During his first day in a busy week traveling in the US, Ukraine's President Zelensky was in Pennsylvania on Sunday. He was flown there on a US Air Force C-17. This unusual arrangement is of course courtesy of American taxpayers, and it looks like the Pentagon and Secret Service are sparing no expense.
Policy consultant Dan Caldwell has pointed out at a moment that Zelensky has attacked Trump's running mate Sen. JD Vance in the pages of The New Yorker that "The Biden-Harris admin is using military assets to fly a foreign leader into a battleground state in order to undermine their political opponents."
This is a scandal which the mainstream media is dutifully ignoring. Joe Lonsdale, Palantir co-founder and 8VC founding partner, has commented that this is a big, big deal. "Team Kamala is so concerned about Pennsylvania, they’re using military assets to fly in Zelensky to campaign!" Lonsdale wrote on X.
The blatant conflict of interest is out in the open. "They’re implying their war creates jobs, and are forcing Z to attack Trump & Vance," Lonsdaile continues. "Literally funding a foreign leader and using the military to bring him to campaign with them in a battleground state." — ZeroHedge
Democrats worried about polls undercounting Donald Trump’s support
Democrats are increasingly worried that pollsters are undercounting Donald Trump’s voter support, rating his prospects of winning November’s presidential election as much higher than headline opinion polling figures suggest.
While most national surveys show consistent, though moderate, leads for Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee, some supporters are unnerved by the small margin of her advantage in three northern battlegrounds – Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin – which are deemed must-wins in her quest for the White House.
Although some polls have shown the vice-president with leads of between four and six points in Pennsylvania – generally judged the most important swing state – others show Trump trailing by smaller deficits. Narrower gaps separate the two in Michigan and Wisconsin, where Harris’s lead is just 1 or 2%, according to several different recent polls.
Underpinning Democrats’ fears is the knowledge that Trump greatly out-performed predictions in all three states in 2016, when he narrowly won them en route to his election triumph over Hillary Clinton, and in 2020, when he was pipped by Joe Biden by far smaller margins than forecast. — The Guardian
