This is all about perspective. To a government bureaucrat the job of disappearing dollars is a scientific pursuit. They are compensated by how efficient they are at making dollars disappear. We, on the outside, just don’t understand the complexity of being a bureaucrat. It is beyond our pay grade even though we are doing the paying. Go figure.
