I have to say that the stories just keep getting more and more bazar...

So here is my advice to anyone who asks me: 1) Get right with God. 2) Turn off the fukking TV. Life get better quickly.

Then as a country/society we need to 1) fix our money (eliminate fiat) 2) all agree to fix our elections to be free, fair and totally transparent.

God Wins!

God Bless!!!

It's great advice - simple, easy to follow, and the benefits in my own life were multifold.

1) Is it possible the right wing insanity in Israel is a psyop despite to turn the whole world against Israel once and for all?

2) The government isn’t even attempting to hide their Marxism- massive grants of taxpayer dollars to NGO’s et al who lost hundreds of thousands of children in their care, according to the latest report?

Legal and legitimate voters, if we actually will have any effect, are you going to vote appropriately or just continue to demonstrate insanity by continuing to vote for these democrats?

The Average Home price in the People's Republic of California is $784K. What exactly do they think $150K home loans are going to buy?

What a great question for Trump to ask of Kamala. “Will you take a cue from your home state and offer free mortgages to illegals on a national basis?”

I bet she loves this insane plan! America needs to hear her ideas on this subject. 20 million illegals losing a million each in free loans will bankrupt America very quickly. But, I think that is the goal. We just need to go along with it.

Somehow the logic of offering $150,000 of interest free home loans to illegal aliens escapes me. How can this be acceptable to the majority of normal, taxpaying Californians? Surely there must be a story here that actually makes sense.

A few days ago I read they had voted to provide $30,000 in cash to illegals for down payments on new home purchases. So, does this say the total free money is $180,000?

A 30 year interest free mortgage will need a monthly payment of $417 plus applicable property tax and insurance. The only thing California will get is a percentage of the capital gains when the property is sold. Doesn’t that make the State of California a part owner? Humm? If the State is owning the property, isn’t that outright Communism?

Let’s think about this. California must sell bonds to generate cash to give $180,000 to illegals to buy a home. The interest on the bonds will be paid by taxpayers. A 30 year bond will pay about 6% interest which means every loan will cost California over a million dollars over the 30 years which comes to $2872 per month while the illegal will pay just $416 per month. That is a net loss of $30,000 per year per illegal.

Does an illegal add that much to the economics of the state? It is obvious to me the goal of the Democrat politicians is to bankrupt California as quickly as possible using as many nutty ideas they can invent. The question is, “Why?”

It does no good to buy votes to destroy your state. That is insane.

I wasn't going to comment until the part about the soldiers raping a Palestinian. They need to be shot. No exceptions. I am unsubscribing from Badlands because I'm tired of your very one-sided view of Israel. Israel is not perfect by any means but does not merit your attitude. It's amazing how you present only the "Palestinians" as victims never once mentioning their crimes against Israel. Thank God Israel is strong but it seems that sites like yours want it eliminated.

With all due respect, it seems to me that you are not actually reading my takes on Israel, because if you were, you would know that I believe that Trump is actually trying to save Israel by exposing the corrupt oligarchy and driving it out of power. (Just like he’s doing with America.)

Hamas is a creation of Israel and the CIA—admitted by Netanyahu—intended to undermine the authority of the peace-seeking Palestinian Authority, and justify military intervention by the IDF. I’ve expressed this view many times on the Brief. (Again, are you actually reading what I’m writing…)

If you think Hamas is a bad actor— and I certainly do— then you have to ask why Israel (Netanyahu) materially supported it? Why Israel allowed the Muslim Brotherhood back into Gaza when they took control of it in 1967? Hamas would have never come into power had Netanyahu simply honored the Oslo Accords in the late 1990’s. Instead, he gave Hamas money and refused to withdraw the IDF from Palestine, which swelled the ranks of Hamas.

I think you’ll find I’m one of the more nuanced critics of Israel, because I’ve painstakingly researched the subject. I don’t argue in platitudes. I bring receipts.

If Trump is attempting to save Israel like he is America, the best way is to go ahead and spring his trap. He can solve both problems much faster by no longer delaying. He says he already has them all. Why wait?

Because this process isn’t about mere accountability. If it were, then Trump would have begun arresting them all in early 2017.

This process is about fundamentally transforming the cultural zeitgeist. America has become a rotten and degenerate culture—just like Israel. If all we do is arrest the bad guys, and continue on this path, then we are doomed all the same. We have to change course.

A perfect example of this would be the fact that the IDF, today, just bombed Saint Porphyrius Church in Gaza. It was built in 407 AD and is literally a piece of Christian history. Do American Christians care? Probably not. I expect when I write about this on Monday, that more Christian Zionists will express their consternation that I am “bad-mouthing” Israel because I’m simply telling the truth about the anti-Christian Jewish supremacists who rule Tel Aviv. (Are these people actually Christians? They seem to worship the secular government of Israel—mortal men— more than Christ, Himself. It’s pretty appalling.)

I don’t know what’s going to happen to Israel. There are a lot of very level headed analysts and commentators who are saying it needs to be destroyed, because it’s incapable of change. That may be true, but I’m choosing to believe that God can work another miracle, and bring those people back from their degeneracy. But maybe not. Maybe I’m being too naive.

What bothers me about Trump and trying to reform America’s corrupt state is the election. If somehow Kamala cheats her way into a victory I fear it will be too late for Trump to reveal what we all accept as truth. The politics will be beyond rational control.

So, I believe the trap must be sprung before November. They cheated in 2020 and got caught red handed. Everything since has been allowed to progress to show how bad things can get under socialist management. OK, we see! We have the Gold! It is time to just explain how great America already is. Trump did what was needed seven years ago!

Hamas is a Bible word that means violence so severe that God destroyed the whole world with The Deluge over it. Hamas needs to be obliterated. "The Palestinians" are another matter. They are actually Samaritans--northern Israelites--whose ancestors converted to Christianity in the first century. Most were later converted to Islam, but Gaza is still 30% Christian, and there are a few Jews among them also, who succeeded in hiding out among them when Israel forced most of Gaza's Jews into Israel.

Every single person deserves the right to be heard. Like here in the US, Israel has a government infiltrated by evil people with evil intent. This is what the vast majority of the discussions here are addressing. This has never been about the innocent Jews who thought they were moving to a country that provided safety to God’s people. Those who created the nation, stealing land from the inhabitants who lived there, aren’t there to create a safe haven (essentially) for God’s people. They have a different agenda totally. The Palestinians are also ‘ruled/led’ by people who do not have their wellbeing in mind; they, too, have a completely different agenda.

The only way to never find the truth is to quit reading articles we might not agree with…it’s the way to the truth and we don’t have a mandate to believe everything we read.

God bless you.🙏🙏

Responding to GBPH's take on the rape of Palestinian prisoners by IDF soldiers: does anyone recall the Abu Ghraib reports with pictures of American soldiers torturing and sodomizing Afghani prisoners? This occurred during George W. Bush's administration.

Per Wikipedia the outcome was different:

"In response to the events at Abu Ghraib, the United States Department of Defense removed 17 soldiers and officers from duty. Eleven soldiers were charged with dereliction of duty, maltreatment, aggravated assault and battery. Between May 2004 and April 2006, these soldiers were court-martialed, convicted, sentenced to military prison, and dishonorably discharged from service. Two soldiers, found to have perpetrated many of the worst offenses at the prison, Specialist Charles Graner and PFC Lynndie England, were subject to more severe charges and received harsher sentences. Graner was convicted of assault, battery, conspiracy, maltreatment of detainees, committing indecent acts and dereliction of duty; he was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and loss of rank, pay, and benefits.[12] England was convicted of conspiracy, maltreating detainees, and committing an indecent act and sentenced to three years in prison.[13] Brigadier General Janis Karpinski, the commanding officer of all detention facilities in Iraq, was reprimanded and demoted to the rank of colonel. Several more military personnel accused of perpetrating or authorizing the measures, including many of higher rank, were not prosecuted. In 2004, President George W. Bush and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld apologized for the Abu Ghraib abuses."

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abu_Ghraib_torture_and_prisoner_abuse

I have to wonder, given the state of affairs today, if Abu Ghraib happened today, would it have been justified and shoved under the rug, as our government should have discontinued aiding and abetting Israel for allowing these war crimes to go unpunished. How evil does it have to get before we say, "No more!"

From Aurora to Alaska, there is no way to get an invasion going with untrained illegals before Space Force gets there and rounds everyone up in some of the harshest weather and terrain in the US, Dog sleds will not save them as their skills will not be up to par to become a part of the pack to get those sleds moving swiftly into the Alaskan wilderness before they are rounded up. It is so enlightening and perhaps the end of a huge part of the war we have been in. Love you guys, Sharon

The Jews have a tradition that the Third Temple would come down from Heaven. The 20th century revealed that to mean satellite uplinks and downlinks, which would NOT require any damage to the big mosques on Temple Mount. Building this real 3rd temple is the one thing that could bring real and enduring peace to Israel and its region. In 2017, I found an unusual and very literal word by word translation of the torah from Hebrew to English--from both the Samaritan and Jewish torahs. This translation made clear that it is the destiny of Islam to LEAD this building. See my substack for the astonishing details. https://ishmaelhandinhand.substack.com?utm_campaign=email-home&r=rjka5

You are wrong about the Israeli soldiers supposedly gang raping the Palestinian prisoner. When the prisoner was taken to the hospital for a medical examination the damage to his rectum was determined to have been caused by him trying to smuggle a cell phone into the prison not by the IDF reserve soldiers. …Here’s just one of many stories:

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/israel-hamas-war-idf-palestinian-prisoner-alleged-rape-sde-teinman-abuse-protest/

Absent is any denial by the Israeli extremists in govt, of the barbaric crimes having been committed in the prison. But, rather, cries in DEFENSE of these acts and riots, rather than allowing due justice to take its course (if even in a court of military law) for said crimes of the prisoner. Due justice also for those rioting protesting the arrests.

My question: Why did Ben-Givr & the others defending the guards’ actions not claim at the time of the hearing that they did not do it? …That it was self-inflicted via cell device. Do you think that would leave the guy so injured as to be close to death? Well, the examining doc who came forward, would certainly know, by the nature & extent of the injuries. It doesn’t add up.

Ok. I read the story and report linked in the story.

My thoughts:

There seem to be two separate stories now: 1) 2 sides of what really happened wrt the prisoner, and 2) Responses to the reported stories

The former cannot be tried in the media, which it has been, giving us two very different doctors’ accounts of the injuries. The facts need a through judicial hearing, with sworn testimonies and evidence.

As for the latter, the responses of those at the highest levels of govt. leadership — their mayhem and vile words — have been egregious and disturbing.

Adding to the confusion — never in reports (to my knowledge) were the arrested guards’ protests: “We didn’t do that!”, which would be expected. And where is the phone?

… So still, a very unsettling series of events are here. And still, discrepancies and many questions remain.

But thank you for posting these. May the truth come out and may the people of the Middle East find peace in the land.

I'm curious as to what else you guys can come up with on Peter Theil.

Now I'm wondering about a company called Narya Capital in Cincinnati?

What do you guys know about this?

Expand full comment

Narya Capital is investing in high tech start-ups in places like the Research Triangle in North Carolina. With Duke, UNC, and NC State universities within a few miles there are a huge number of new, innovative corporations springing up almost daily. Investing early is a wonderful way to guarantee fine returns on capital. So, on paper Narya should be doing quite well and investors can expect to make money.

Peter Thiel has a good track record of knowing how to invest in booming enterprises. He is the deep pockets behind the whole thing. I have a hard time finding fault with Vance for seeing the huge potential in going to new areas for finding profit potential. Apparently you do not agree and that is your privilege. Everything I find says this is a brilliant scheme for profiting.

Expand full comment

I looked it up, too. I saw nothing nefarious in what I read, basically everything you posted above. Thanks, Jim.

There is one thing that I have discovered in the last several years about the Research Triangle that I find fascinating. Duke and UNC are noted for producing doctors and NC State trains engineers. But because the three schools are so close to each other they have begun to cross pollinate, so to speak. They share classes and this is creating revolutionary new inventions combining engineering of products with medicine. But, to add some spice to the recipe, IBM is also in the loop providing teachers as well as guidance into AI. This combination is creating all sorts of innovation never thought possible just a few years ago.

It’s funny. Duke, UNC, and NCSU have historically hated each other due to the sports competition. They never wanted anything to do with each other. But technology has changed that and the newfound friendships are blowing the capital markets away with revolutionary new products. Capitalizing on this is brilliant!
