The News Cycle is almost impossible to track these days. At least, to do so fully.
That’s where we come in.
In the Badlands News Brief, the Badlands Media team hand pick news items of interest from the previous days to give you an overview of the biggest goings-on relevant to the Truth Community with some Badlands flavoring to help wash it down.
Now, onto the news from Tuesday, July 9 …
Stephen Miller: Kamala Harris Enabled Oligarchy to Rule Behind ‘Brain Dead’ Biden
Vice President Kamala Harris violated her oath of office and endangered her nation by helping hide President Joe Biden’s “brain dead” status, Stephen Miller told a conservative meeting in Washington, DC.
“Kamala Harris knew … that Joe Biden was cognitively impaired to the point of being nonfunctional — brain dead in common parlance — for three and a half years … [until] his true vegetative state was revealed as a result of President Trump’s K-O [in the presidential debate],” Miller told the July 8 event, hosted by National Conservatism Conference.
“Everybody who was anybody in the Democrat Party knew it, participated in it, covered it up, and allowed the country to be run by secret unnamed Democrat Party interests and staffers for three and a half years as we inched closer to World War Three,” said Miller, a top aide to President Donald Trump. — Breitbart
Our Take: “Miller has the winning message at this critical moment: Kamala Harris and the President’s cabinet — along with congressional leaders, bureaucrats, the intelligence community, and the news media — conspired to hide an incapacitated president.
It’s stunning when you think about it. The 25th Amendment was created in the wake of Woodrow Wilson’s hidden decline, and the implications of an incapacitated president are horrifying. These shadow governors can do whatever they want, without any oversight or accountability, and then gaslight the People that their deception is actually a good thing.
Like bread at the end of a communist bread line.
The media is scrambling to distance themselves from this massive deception — which was only made possible through their complicity — by pretending that Joe Biden’s physical feebleness and obviously debilitating dementia is brand new information.
No, seriously, they’re really pretending they didn’t know.
Unfunny comedian Jon Stewart jumped on that line in his fake takedown of the campaign and prominent Democrats, saying, ‘An arthritic status quo, unable or unwilling to respond, in any way, to the concerns of voters who just received new and urgent information about their candidate, also erodes confidence and faith in the system of government.’
If Biden’s decline is new and urgent for your audience, Jon, it’s only because you’re complicit in the cover up and intentionally failing to keep them informed about the most obvious things. For political purposes. Or are you lying to your audience for democracy?
Outrage is an effective driver of change in a world where everyone is ruled by their emotions. As such, never back off this message. A criminal conspiracy to hide an incapacitated president, to deceive the People and govern without oversight, is not lawful or just.
You might even say it’s a threat to ‘democracy.’ —
Saudis Warned G-7 Over Russia Seizures With Debt Sale Threat
Saudi Arabia privately hinted earlier this year it might sell some European debt holdings if the Group of Seven decided to seize almost $300 billion of Russia’s frozen assets, people familiar with the matter said.
The kingdom’s finance ministry told some G-7 counterparts of its opposition to the idea, which was meant to support Ukraine, with one person describing it as a veiled threat. The Saudis specifically mentioned debt issued by the French treasury, two of the people said.
In May and June, the G-7 was exploring different options regarding the Russian central bank’s funds. The group eventually agreed to tap the profits generated and leave the assets themselves alone despite a US and UK push for allies to consider bolder options, including a direct seizure. Some euro-member nations were against that idea, concerned it could undermine the currency.
Saudi Arabia’s stance likely influenced the reluctance of those countries, said the people, who asked not to be identified to discuss private conversations.
“No such threats were made,” according to a statement sent from the Saudi finance ministry. “Our relation with the G-7 and others is of mutual respect and we continue to discuss all issues that promote global growth and enhance the resilience of the international financial system.” — Bloomberg
Our Take: It's all starting to make sense, isn't it?
First, you have Putin and Xi meeting with various world leaders—building the Sovereign Alliance—and those countries subsequently announcing plans to transition away from the US dollar. Most recently, the deals announced between Russia and China at last week's Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Astana (Kazakhstan)—which happened to take place on July 4th—where the two highlighted the major economic progress they had made ever since the Biden regime imposed sanctions against Russia that forced out western companies and US dollars. China has filled that void, both with businesses and with currency (Yuan). They also disclosed that Russia has surpassed Saudi Arabia as the number one supplier of oil to China.
Yesterday, the BRICS organization simultaneously announced deals that Russia had struck with both India and Iran to de-dollarize. While the India announcement seemed more like a promise of a more formal forthcoming deal, the Iran announcement stated that the two countries would completely remove the US dollar from all trade between them.
Today, China announced that it would be investing over a billion dollars to build an electric vehicle plant in Turkey—which pledged to de-dollarize its economy back in early 2022, and has been hyped by both Russia and China to join BRICS. This deal is reminiscent of an announcement last year for China to invest $5.6 billion to build EV plants in Saudi Arabia, which is part of a $10 billion multi-sector investment deal between the two countries.
... you get the point.
All of these bilateral deals have been happening everywhere, subverting the authority of the trade authorities that have been set up by the Unipolar Hegemony, but more importantly: setting the stage for the Petrodollar agreement to expire— which happened last month.
"Whatever its motive, Saudi Arabia’s move underscores its growing clout on the world stage and the G-7’s difficulty in garnering support from so-called Global South nations for Ukraine in the face of Russia’s aggression. Under Prince Mohammed, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler, Riyadh has increasingly positioned itself as a diplomatic powerhouse and has said it wants to mediate between Kyiv and Moscow."
One of the benefits of tracking the Saudi Foreign Ministry like a nerd is that I noticed that within the same hour that this threat from MBS to the G7 was divulged by the MSM yesterday, the Foreign Ministry had Ukraine's ambassador sitting in their office, posing for a photograph.
That's called "4D chess," and the Saudis have played the central bankers like a fiddle. Because as the article mentions, the real concern is not the billions of dollars in treasury bonds (central banker debt) that the Saudi Public Investment Fund holds, the real threat is the clout that MBS holds among world leaders—who like him far more than they like the Unipolar oligarchs.
Look at the timeline:
Saudi Arabia was invited to attend the G7 meeting for the first time in the Summit's 50 years—the G7 summit was started as a result of the 1973 Oil Crisis, when Saudi's King Faisal halted oil sales to the West in protest of their support of Israel's Yom Kippur War, culminating in the creation of the Petrodollar.
The Summit was held over the weekend of June 13-15, and Crown Prince MBS politely declined the invitation the morning of June 13, sending the G7 into a grief-stricken panic as they had rolled out the red carpet and made so much pomp and circumstance over Saudi's involvement. The reason they wanted MBS to attend is that Europe is desperate for a cash infusion from the Saudi Public Investment Fund.
This news provoked Zelensky to make a surprise stop in Riyadh on his way to Italy, where he begged MBS to help him with the war effort. We know now that MBS gave Zelensky a message to deliver to his masters at the G7, and that message was clear:
"Checkmate." —
Joe Biden Has Turned Into Donald Trump
President Joe Biden's recent actions are being compared to those of Donald Trump by political analysts and commentators.
The incumbent Democratic president and Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, are set to face each other in November for a rematch of the 2020 election, which is expected to be a tight race.
On June 27, the candidates met in Atlanta for the first presidential debate of this election cycle. Following his poor performance, Biden has faced calls to step down as his party's candidate. However, the president has remained defiant, refusing to drop out of the race.
Now, political commentators are drawing parallels between Biden's defiance and Trump's behavior. Speaking to Newsweek, Thomas Gift, an associate professor of political science and the director of the Centre on U.S. Politics at University College London, said, "Biden is absolutely taking a page out of the playbook of Trump."
He added, "Increasingly, one could argue that his public statements have been giving off an air of entitlement and even selfishness."
Newsweek contacted Biden's campaign for comment by email. — Newsweek
Our Take: Hold up, fam ... we've got some fresh schadenfreude to absorb.
The media machine's panic pattern over #OurBoyBlue's debate performance and subsequent public meltdown-rebellion (against the very machine that installed him) is shifting from covert to overt ... to beautifully Ouroborosian.
If YOU aren't convinced Joe Biden is #OurGuy, the Establishment is starting to wonder, drawing the following parallels to Donald Trump in Biden's recent posture:
Using 'Angry' Language
Calling on Party Members to Toe the Line
Attacking 'Elites'
Taken on the surface, I have no issue with any presidential candidate espousing those core tenets. But one wonders if SOME are starting to guess the game.
They are SO close to figuring out what's really going on, but that would require considering the full breadth and scope of 'The Plan,' and coming to the unwelcome (for them,) conclusion that they already lost some time ago.
The rest is a matter of timing ... and awakening. —
Vladimir Putin awards PM Modi Russia's highest civilian honour for 'outstanding service'
President Vladimir Putin officially bestowed Prime Minister Narendra Modi with Russia's highest civilian honour, the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. The ceremony recognised Modi's 'exceptional' contributions to advancing the strategic partnership between Russia and India.
"Honoured to receive the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. I dedicate it to the people of India," PM Modi said.
• Established in 1698 by Tsar Peter the Great, the Order of St. Andrew is the highest order of chivalry in Russia. It holds deep historical and cultural significance as a symbol of honour and achievement.
• The badge of the order is a golden cross with blue enamel, featuring a crucified Saint Andrew the Apostle. It is adorned with a double-headed eagle and a ribbon inscribed with “FOR FAITH AND LOYALTY.”
• The order is bestowed upon distinguished leaders in government, military, science, culture, and the economy for exceptional contributions to Russia's prosperity, security, and sovereignty.
• It can also be awarded to foreign heads of state for “outstanding service” to Russia, according to Russian government report.
• After receiving the order, the office of Russian president ensures the creation of a portrait of the recipient. These portraits are displayed at the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, commemorating their achievements. — Hindustan Times
Our Take: (Here we have a Christian leader bestowing a Christian accolade to a Hindu leader.)
People forget how the fateful day of the Sword Dance (May 20, 2017) began.
Trump received Saudi Arabia's highest civilian honor—the gilded Collar of the Order of Abdulaziz Al Saud—from King Salman.
(Here we have a Muslim leader bestowing a Muslim accolade to a Christian leader.)
The Order of Abdulaziz Al Saud was established on March 20, 1971, by King Faisal, half-brother of the current king. We know now that ten years before—in 1961—a secret meeting was held between President JFK and then-Crown Prince Faisal. JFK conveyed to the Crown Prince the idea that investing the Royal Family's wealth in his people, and thus providing the conditions for their individual prosperity, would not only create a middle class, but would build Saudi Arabia up as a great world power—which would also secure the bonds of trust between the people and the House of Saud.
JFK instilled in the mind of Faisal that the Saudi Royal Family could only be truly great if the people of their Kingdom were also great, and three years later, when Faisal became king, he honored the conversation he had with the late president by implementing a 10-point plan of social reforms that included the abolition of slavery and universal healthcare funded by the Royal Family. (Yes, the president who fought against communism encouraged socialism in a country with very unique circumstances.)
King Faisal was assassinated in 1975, most likely by the same people who assassinated JFK twelve years prior.
The current Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, is the spiritual successor of Faisal, just as President Donald Trump is the spiritual successor of JFK. Both men seek prosperity and greatness for their people, and both men are deeply despised by the same forces that opposed their predecessors. —
Office vacancy rate hits record high
Office vacancy rates reached a record 20.1% in the second quarter — the highest since at least 1979, when Moody's began tracking.
Why it matters: Typically vacancy rates rise in economic downturns; it's outside the normal pattern that they've been going up for the past few years as the economy has remained on solid ground.
Zoom out: Of course, offices are sitting empty because the pandemic seems to have permanently changed the way many Americans work, and companies don't need as much space as they once did.
State of play: Long-term leases are taking a long time to unwind, says Moody's associate economist Nick Luettke.
And these vacancy rates are likely to continue to climb for the next few years, peaking at the end of 2026, per Moody's projections. If the economy moves into a downturn, things could get even worse.
The bottom line: There's "just going to be pain over the next coming years," he says. — Axios
Our Take: This article says the quiet part out loud.
‘Typically vacancy rates rise in economic downturns; it's outside the normal pattern that they've been going up for the past few years as the economy has remained on solid ground.’
Literally the only people who believe this administration’s economic narrative are administration officials and narrative peddlers like Axios.
The job gains are manipulated. The inflation metrics are manipulated. The talking points about housing, energy costs, homelessness, and the markets are all manipulated.
As a result of changing formulas to game the metrics, the media is confounded that key economic indicators — like occupancy rates in commercial real estate — seem to indicate that the economy is not good.
‘How can it be,’ they appear to cry! ‘The economy is good, everyone says so!’
It can be because, like everything else about the Biden administration, the economic narrative is fake. —
With Brussels fuming, Putin welcomes Orbán as EU leader
Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a warm Kremlin welcome to Viktor Orbán on Friday, greeting the Hungarian leader as the “president of the Council of the European Union,” even as Brussels disavowed that Orbán was representing the 27 EU countries.
Orbán jetted off to Moscow just days after Hungary took over the six-month rotating presidency of the Council of the EU. The other member states have been nearly unanimous in condemning the trip, insisting that the Hungarian leader has no authorization from the bloc to negotiate.
That rebuke didn’t faze the Russian president.
“I understand that you have come here now not only as our partner, but also as the president of the Council of the European Union,” Putin said in his greeting. “I hope we’ll be able to talk about our bilateral relations in these difficult circumstances, and we’ll talk about the biggest European crisis, the situation in Ukraine,” he added.
“I am at your disposal, and I understand that you may know what my positions are on this issue and what proposals we have made,” the Russian leader told Orbán. “I am ready to talk about all aspects of the situation, and I expect that you will share with me your position and the perspective of the European partners.”

(Please ignore the rough grammar in the translation; these meetings have transpired.)
Our Take: Viktor Orban just skyrocketed up the power rankings of Sovereign Alliance leaders. Wew, lad.
Here I was thinking that Kim Jong Un was my new favorite Alliance bro, then Viktor comes off the bench and dunks on the EU, like Michael Jordan in a 1995 bedroom poster:
"Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a warm Kremlin welcome to Viktor Orbán on Friday, greeting the Hungarian leader as the ‘president of the Council of the European Union,’ even as Brussels disavowed that Orbán was representing the 27 EU countries."
Let's check in on the Mockingbirds.
Hey Viktor, you dropped this, King: 👑
The Sovereign Alliance is pumping on all cylinders right now, and it is quickly becoming a friendly contest among bros on who can humiliate the oligarch-gangsters the most.
Orban's series of surprise visits to Ukraine, Russia, China, and the US was a legendary power move. The fact that Putin greeted him like the leader of the EU—while the cuckolds in the EU seethed—marks Orban's formal induction into the JACOB Accords. I'm so happy that we are documenting these moments in history for future generations to enjoy, because it will be hard to convey to them just how amazing this is to witness.

Democrats back Biden in lopsided internal debate
Democrats emerging from a closed-door meeting Tuesday to discuss President Biden’s political future offered support for their party leader a day after the White House’s full-court press to beat back critics within his party, even as some detractors pushed for a reset.
In a meeting that ran for roughly two hours, the debate was lopsided in favor of keeping the president on the ticket — a dynamic suggesting that Biden has, at least for now, prevented the slow seep of individual detractors from becoming a flood.
“I feel we’ve hit a turning point,” Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.), who is backing Biden, said after the meeting. “As the president said, I think yesterday, it’s been 10, 11 days or so since the debate and it’s time to move on. And I think that’s where many more members are today than they were last week.”
“We’re ridin’ with Biden,” said Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), a prominent voice in the Congressional Black Caucus, which has rallied aggressively behind Biden since the debate.
The voices of support for Biden suggested the tide is beginning to turn for the president, who has been resolute in insisting he will not be pushed out of the presidential race over heightened concerns over his age, health and ability to defeat former President Trump in November. — The Hill
Welcome to Mar-a-NATO: European leaders tailor their message to Trump
They are comparing NATO to an exclusive golf club where members need to pay their dues.
They are prodding Germany and other European countries to spend more on national defense.
And — his campaign rhetoric aside — they deeply appreciate Donald Trump’s support for the Baltic states as president.
On the opening day of the NATO Summit in Washington, three defense ministers from Europe’s most vulnerable countries showed how thoroughly they’ve already prepared to make their case to Trump if he returns to the presidency.
At a panel in Washington hosted by POLITICO and the German newspaper Welt, the top defense officials from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania made a forceful case for the NATO alliance that was conspicuously Trump-friendly. They laced their remarks with tough love for countries that aren’t spending heavily on defense and muted any direct critique of Trump’s quasi-isolationist instincts.
One minister employed vocabulary that was clearly aimed at the golf-loving former president, a real estate developer and hospitality executive by trade.
“NATO is a club. When you have club rules, then you respect the rules and you expect that everyone will also respect the rules,” Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said. “When you pay your fee in the golf club, you can play. It doesn’t matter how big is your wallet.” — Politico

Everytime I see Putin with other World leaders, it reminds me of Trump going around to all the countries. You'd have to be really stupid not to realize the significance of this. And it's comforting to know that, while we expose the evil swamp in the US government, Putins got the soccer ball. Good stuff!
