I just looked up some info on measles and it said that if you don't have proof of immunity, you made have to get the vaccine. My mother kept diaries when my brother and I were young and sure enough, (Thanks Mom) she had every disease we had as kids written down in her diary!! My brother had the measles exactly one year before me in 1957, I had them in April 1958 and 2 months later, I had the chicken pox. It even said that my Aunt brought over my cousins so that they could get them also, that was the way it was done!! LOL!
