Sorry if I have been dense on the whole GA - Fani Willis Flap. Bout would someone please state in very simple terms, WHAT we are hoping to happen?
1) If she is convicted of . . . perjury? Corruption? Being a ghetto-trump-hating-moron in Lawyers clothing?, she will be punished . . . somehow.
2) If she is punished and thrown off the case, what will that mean? There is still this bizarre case that is percolating like a stopped up septic system in July.
3) Will that mean that the case is thrown out?
4) Or will another prosecutor jump on board?
5) Will that mean that all 19 defendants go free? What about the ones who accepted plea deals?
I have not read much more than the headlines of this case because I could not see how any of it was relevant.
I believe the thing to remember here, from the 40,000 foot view, is that the government never intended this case to ever go to the point of a trial, in which Trump and his team get to put on the record (a public record, BTW) all of his evidence of fraud. Such evidence demonstrates Trump's sincere belief that the election was compromised, and as President (who oversees many federal functions, including elections), he has an obligation to remedy those compromises.
By speaking to Trump's state of mind, that the election was compromised (with evidence in the boatloads to substantiate it), most if not all of the charges go away. The charges are based on the idea that Trump knew he lost, but was trying to commit fraud to overturn the legitimate results of the election. If Trump believes (regardless of the eventual truth) that he is obliged to intervene to protect the integrity of the election process, he and his co-defendants are innocent.
Trump would likely prevail in such an outcome, but the government will never let it get that far. [They] do not want Trump's evidence to be entered into the record for all to see. So they would ride this horse up right until the actual trial gets to the point of Trump's team presenting evidence in his defense. At that point the prosecutors file a motion for delay, and once that delay is over, they drop the case. It's all about optics, nothing to do with actually finding truth.
So, given that, what do we hope happens? Well there are numerous possible outcomes that would be beneficial to MAGA/A1 folks. One of them is for the case actually to go to trial where Trump presents his evidence. But we already know that probably won't happen.
The most likely outcome here is for the thing to be shown as a clown show (happening now) and while the state could start over with a new prosecutor and/or DA, the resulting delay would put the case past the election season, and we all know this is not about justice anyway.
Bottom line is they are screwed however this plays out, and they know it.
Something tells me that COVID 19 Plan will be part of the steal plan and Gates Fauci and their medical partners will finally be tried convicted and put to death finally!!!... At least, its a fantasy of mine that makes me smile.

Sorry if I have been dense on the whole GA - Fani Willis Flap. Bout would someone please state in very simple terms, WHAT we are hoping to happen?
1) If she is convicted of . . . perjury? Corruption? Being a ghetto-trump-hating-moron in Lawyers clothing?, she will be punished . . . somehow.
2) If she is punished and thrown off the case, what will that mean? There is still this bizarre case that is percolating like a stopped up septic system in July.
3) Will that mean that the case is thrown out?
4) Or will another prosecutor jump on board?
5) Will that mean that all 19 defendants go free? What about the ones who accepted plea deals?
I have not read much more than the headlines of this case because I could not see how any of it was relevant.
I believe the thing to remember here, from the 40,000 foot view, is that the government never intended this case to ever go to the point of a trial, in which Trump and his team get to put on the record (a public record, BTW) all of his evidence of fraud. Such evidence demonstrates Trump's sincere belief that the election was compromised, and as President (who oversees many federal functions, including elections), he has an obligation to remedy those compromises.
By speaking to Trump's state of mind, that the election was compromised (with evidence in the boatloads to substantiate it), most if not all of the charges go away. The charges are based on the idea that Trump knew he lost, but was trying to commit fraud to overturn the legitimate results of the election. If Trump believes (regardless of the eventual truth) that he is obliged to intervene to protect the integrity of the election process, he and his co-defendants are innocent.
Trump would likely prevail in such an outcome, but the government will never let it get that far. [They] do not want Trump's evidence to be entered into the record for all to see. So they would ride this horse up right until the actual trial gets to the point of Trump's team presenting evidence in his defense. At that point the prosecutors file a motion for delay, and once that delay is over, they drop the case. It's all about optics, nothing to do with actually finding truth.
So, given that, what do we hope happens? Well there are numerous possible outcomes that would be beneficial to MAGA/A1 folks. One of them is for the case actually to go to trial where Trump presents his evidence. But we already know that probably won't happen.
The most likely outcome here is for the thing to be shown as a clown show (happening now) and while the state could start over with a new prosecutor and/or DA, the resulting delay would put the case past the election season, and we all know this is not about justice anyway.
Bottom line is they are screwed however this plays out, and they know it.
Something tells me that COVID 19 Plan will be part of the steal plan and Gates Fauci and their medical partners will finally be tried convicted and put to death finally!!!... At least, its a fantasy of mine that makes me smile.
