The wisdom in Simon's statement could fall under the "it goes without saying" category - but that would certainly be a missed opportunity (IMHO). The "whack-a-mole" motif that has served the System of Systems (Babylon) for thousands of years will not stop while Mankind remains vulnerable to its lies and slanders. Only Truth, undeniable Truth, will remedy the situation.
For what it is worth - I enjoy these morale boosts. But I think I am learning (maybe again) that though we do not wrestle against flesh and blood - we do wrestle. And though the weapons of our warfare are not earthly - they are mighty for tearing down strongholds and high thoughts that attempt to exalt themselves above the knowledge of God.

Regarding the media cover up and ignoring the "died suddenly" epidemic going on, I have noticed a lot more advertisements regarding awareness about strokes and heart attacks. There is even a new nifty device they are pushing that is a credit card sized personal EKG reader with a phone app so you can take your EKG at any time...for only $99 - so affordable that everyone should go out and buy one for that "peace of mind" that your heart is functioning properly and your not going to drop dead suddenly from a heart related issue (aka the poison jabs). The sleepers will never make the connection between the jabs and these new nifty heart monitoring devices and warning ad's that never existed just a couple of years ago.
