Trump found guilty on all hush money charges
History happened just as everyone was about to leave for the day.
Judge Juan M. Merchan had already summoned Donald Trump, his legal team and prosecutors into the courtroom where the former president has been on trial since mid-April. The judge said he planned to send the jury home in a few minutes — at 4:30 p.m. — with deliberations to resume the next morning.
Trump looked upbeat, having animated chats with his lawyers. A bell that rang in the courtroom whenever the jury had something to tell the court had been silent all day.
In the end, it wasn’t the bell that signaled something was up, but the jingling of a court officer’s keys — a ring full of them clanking as Maj. Michael McKee hustled past the judge’s bench and out a door into a private corridor.
Then, unexpectedly, the judge was back on the bench. There was another note from the jury. Signed at 4:20 p.m., it said they had reached a verdict. Jurors wanted an extra 30 minutes to fill out the verdict form.
Donald Trump became the first former president to be convicted of felony crimes Thursday as a New York jury found him guilty of falsifying business records in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through hush money payments to a porn actor who said the two had sex. — AP News
Our Take: “A New York jury found President Trump guilty on all 34 counts Thursday, after a controversial trial in which the defense and most media claim to not have fully understood the charges until jury instructions were provided.
The pro-Trump crowd outside of the courthouse was livid, but hopeful. They reacted in real time on Bannon’s War Room after the news dropped.
That’s right, the news dropped at the beginning of War Room. Remember
’s theories on Bannon… the timing allowed Bannon and team to reinforce messages of hope and guide the emotional response directly following the verdict. From a change management standpoint, that’s… lucky.Bannon’s conclusion? ‘I’m long MAGA.’ Let’s go.
President Trump spoke to reporters after the verdict stating, ‘Everyone knows what happened… We’ll fight to the end and we’ll win… This was a rigged decision, right from day one… This is long from over.’
According to Jonathan Turley, ‘Merchan set July 11th for sentencing. Probation interview will be set for Trump. All motions must be filed by June 13th. Hearing is over. But Merchan is asking about bail status. He was informed that there is no bail.’
This is one hell of a campaign. Trump 2024.” —
Another Take: “As
and I discussed in depth on Sunday night’s episode of DEFECTED, this was expected by most Anons who were paying attention … which means it was expected by Donald Trump and patriots … which means everything is pretty good, actually.Biden secretly gave Ukraine permission to strike inside Russia with US weapons
The Biden administration has quietly given Ukraine permission to strike inside Russia — solely near the area of Kharkiv — using U.S.-provided weapons, two U.S. officials and two other people familiar with the move said Thursday, a major reversal that will help Ukraine to better defend its second-largest city.
“The president recently directed his team to ensure that Ukraine is able to use U.S. weapons for counter-fire purposes in Kharkiv so Ukraine can hit back at Russian forces hitting them or preparing to hit them,” a U.S. official said, adding that the policy of allowing long-range strikes inside Russia “has not changed.”
Ukraine asked the U.S. to make this policy change only after Russia’s offensive on Kharkiv began this month, the official added. All the people were granted anonymity to discuss internal decisions that haven’t been announced.
In the last few days, the U.S. made the decision to allow Ukraine “flexibility” to defend itself from attacks on the border near Kharkiv, the second U.S. official said.
In effect, Ukraine can now use American-provided weapons, such as rockets and rocket launchers, to shoot down launched Russian missiles heading toward Kharkiv, at troops massing just over the Russian border near the city, or Russian bombers launching bombs toward Ukrainian territory. But the official said Ukraine cannot use those weapons to hit civilian infrastructure or launch long-range missiles, such as the Army Tactical Missile System, to hit military targets deep inside Russia.
It’s a stunning shift the administration initially said would escalate the war by more directly involving the U.S. in the fight. But worsening conditions for Ukraine on the battlefield –– namely Russia’s advances and improved position in Kharkiv –– led the president to change his mind. — Politico
Our Take: “Overton's Goalpost is my Narrative Cypher for tracking the enemy's pattern of narrative retreat over previously-held psychological ground in the Info War.
It helps orient me in the engineered chaos so much so that for some time, I've unironically enjoyed observing the absolute madness that is the War of Stories.
While this cypher is easiest to apply to admissions of wrong-doing or retreats on policy, I think, ironically, the increasing escalation on the part of the Globalist West toward Russia is actually indicative of the same pattern.
What started as an absolute policy of non-intervention (outside of weaponized sanctions and proxy war funding, of course,) by the US in the Russo-Ukraine conflict has steadily shifted, with the MSM now carrying water for the Biden Admin as it gives direct permission for its Prussian Proxy to strike Russian territory with US arms.
Of course, they qualify that it's only ‘short-range’ attacks, for now.

China Will Work With Arab Countries to Defend Multipolar World - President Xi
China is ready, jointly with Arab countries, to defend an equal multipolar world, Chinese President Xi Jinping said Thursday.
The opening ceremony of the 10th ministerial meeting of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum was held in Beijing on Thursday.
“We are ready to work with the Arab side in order to jointly defend an equal and orderly multipolar world,” Xi said in a speech at the opening ceremony.
China will strengthen cooperation with Arab countries in the oil and gas sector, trade, and high technology, Xi Jinping said.

“We will strengthen cooperation in such key areas as oil, gas, trade and infrastructure,” Xi said in a speech at the opening ceremony.

Our Take: “The Sovereign Alliance met in Beijing this week.
’We are ready to work with the Arab side in order to jointly defend an equal and orderly multipolar world,’ Xi said in a speech at the opening ceremony.
The summit culminated in the signing of the Beijing Declaration.
‘We will strengthen cooperation in such key areas as oil, gas, trade, high technology, and infrastructure,’ Xi said. Xi proposed creating a ‘joint space debris observation center’ and developing space aircraft for scientific and passenger missions with Arab countries. He also announced that Arabia will invest and participate in the development of the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, a satellite-based radio navigation system owned and operated by the China National Space Administration. Xi also called for more joint investment in AI technologies. (On Wednesday, we reported that Saudi Arabia had announced the creation of their own space technology company, as well as a $2 billion investment in Elon Musk's xAI project... as if we needed more evidence of Sovereign Alliance happenings.)
Another speaker, Silk Road Fund chairman Zhu Lun highlighted the geopolitical risks of the western financial system, citing that a significant portion of Saudi-Chinese oil trade is conducted in ‘petro-yuans,’ and that more effort needed to be made to de-dollarize in order to limit exposure in the face of the collapsing western central banking system.
China disclosed that it sources over one-third of its oil from six Gulf Cooperation Council members, with only Russia supplying more than Saudi Arabia (85.9 million metric tons in 2023). They also reviewed a $5.6B joint venture deal signed between China and Saudi Arabia in June 2023 for an electric car company that would be based in Arabia.
UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed (MBZ) also spoke, highlighting the importance of bilateral agreements. All 22 Arab nations in attendance signed a number of individual agreements with China that focused on the Belt and Road initiative, ‘implementing over 200 major projects benefiting nearly 2 billion people.’
MBZ asked President Xi to support the Two-State Solution, and Xi responded by organizing a joint-statement that was signed and presented by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Secretary General of the Arab League, Mohamed Salem Ould Merzouk. China pledged $69M in aid to Gaza, and ‘Wang said that the Palestinian issue is the core of the Middle East problem.’
In an obvious snub to Joe Biden, Xi pledged that China will seek to play a larger role in the Gaza conflict, calling for an international peace conference that sounds identical to the one proposed by Vladimir Putin and King Hamad of Bahrain last week.

Biden’s suspended Iran envoy may have improperly shared classified material: report
A congressional probe into President Biden’s suspended special envoy to Iran, Robert Malley, has uncovered evidence that the State Department official may have shared classified material with people outside the US government.
The evidence found by Republican lawmakers indicates that Malley, who was quietly placed on unpaid leave last June and had his security clearance suspended two months prior, disseminated sensitive documents with allies of his in order to “advance his diplomatic efforts” related to Tehran, people briefed on the investigation told Semafor.
GOP lawmakers have learned that Malley transferred about a dozen documents, including some marked “sensitive” and “classified,” to his personal devices while tasked with leading the Biden administration’s diplomatic relations with the US adversary, according to the outlet. — NY Post
Our Take: “The well meaning elderly man with a poor memory has another classified documents scandal on his hands.
The so-called ruler of the US was protected from prosecution earlier in his term when Robert Hur concluded that, despite unlawfully retaining classified documents from his time as VP and Senator, storing them insecurely, and apparently frequently accessing them, scrotus was unfit to stand trial. He’s still sitting in the White House though… make it make sense.
Biden’s special envoy to Iran isn’t so lucky.
‘Specifically, we understand that Mr. Malley’s security clearance was suspended because he allegedly transferred classified documents to his personal email account and downloaded these documents to his personal cell phone.’
And that’s not all:
‘It is unclear to whom he intended to provide these documents, but it is believed that a hostile cyber actor was able to gain access to his email and/or phone and obtain the downloaded information.’
This scandal is becoming more visible at the same time that the CIA is facing increased scrutiny on the ethics of their clandestine activities around the world and at home. According to the State Department, Malley is on leave and the department is handling cooperating with Congress in their investigation.” —
White House Embraces Nuclear, Makes Biggest Push In Five Decades For Clean Atomic Power
The Biden administration is finally taking significant steps to revitalize America's nuclear power industry, a move likely to upset radical leftist environmentalists funded by shady non-governmental organizations. The administration recognizes that nuclear power is critical to reaching 100% reliable carbon pollution-free electricity by 2035 rather than relying solely on unreliable solar and wind energy sources for the power grid (after all, AI data centers need reliable power). This nuclear renaissance has been a ZH theme for several years.
"Alongside renewable power sources like wind and solar, a new generation of nuclear reactors is now capturing the attention of a wide range of stakeholders for nuclear energy's ability to produce clean, reliable energy and meet the needs of a fast-growing economy, driven by President Biden's Investing in America agenda and manufacturing boom," the White House wrote in a statement.
The statement continued, "The Administration recognizes that decarbonizing our power system, which accounts for a quarter of all the nation's greenhouse gas emissions, represents a pivotal challenge requiring all the expertise and ingenuity our nation can deliver."
Today's big news is that the White House created a new working group, the "Nuclear Power Project Management and Delivery." — ZeroHedge

Musk Counsels Trump on Crypto in Sign of Billionaire’s Sway
Elon Musk and Donald Trump are discussing cryptocurrency policy as the former president increasingly highlights Bitcoin and other digital assets on the campaign trail as a way to reach new voters, according to a person familiar with the talks.
Trump campaign officials have also talked about the possibility of inviting Musk to speak at the Republican convention, according to a person with knowledge of those discussions, but are still far from making a final decision. The person familiar, who spoke on condition of anonymity to detail the talks, did not know if anyone had yet broached the subject with Musk himself.
The moves are the latest demonstration of how Musk, a Washington player in his own right, who has weighed in on elections and whose companies boast federal contracts and have bristled at government regulations, is wielding his significant political influence. — Bloomberg
Our Take: “The Biden Administration (also known as Trump's Devo Term,) have announced their plans to accelerate a transition (meaning, a restart) of America's Nuclear Energy push, something Dwight Eisenhower was a major proponent of before decades of engineered Nuclear Warmongering curtailed it.
An official statement by the White House (supposedly,) reads: ‘Taken together, these actions represent the largest sustained push to accelerate civil nuclear deployment in the United States in nearly five decades.’
I’ve written and commented on this revitalization in American's Nuclear Energy sector at length over the past few weeks, both at Badlands and on my own Substack, and I'd like to think this community's growing awareness of the need to transition away from the Green New Deal and toward a Tesla-envisioned (and perhaps a Tesla-supported) Retro-Futurist Nuclear America has prompted patriots to accelerate the informational timeline.
They took it from us. We're taking it back.
Oh … and if that wasn’t signal enough for you, how about the increasing convergence of Elon Musk with Donald Trump in the War of Stories … specifically concerning energy and decentralization …” —
The UAE’s rising influence in Africa
When Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, president of the United Arab Emirates, jetted several hundred friends into a private airport in the Eastern Cape province to celebrate Eid last year, it showed both the promise and pitfalls in dealing with a new cash-rich player in Africa.
Ahead of a stay at his private resort in one of South Africa’s poorest regions, the UAE ruler was reported to have donated R20mn ($1mn) to upgrade the runway at the backwater airport, which the authorities made an international port of entry for the occasion.
But despite the mutual display of goodwill, South Africa had failed to convince the UAE to turn over the Gupta brothers, accused by South African authorities of looting the state. The Guptas had fled to the Emirates in 2018 but around two weeks before Sheikh Mohammed was touring the Eastern Cape, a Dubai court refused to extradite two of the brothers citing incorrect paperwork, a ruling South Africa’s justice minister described as “shocking”.
The fact that South Africa nevertheless rolled out the red carpet for Sheikh Mohammed and his entourage is a sign of just how influential the UAE has become there and across the continent — and an illustration of the complexities this new alignment can sometimes bring. — Financial Times
Our Take: “Interesting hit piece against the UAE (purported member of the Sovereign Alliance) from the Financial Times of London—the outlet Steve Bannon regularly brands as, ‘The official paper of record,’ for the WEF oligarchy.
(This is a massive rabbit hole that will warrant another on-stream dig; we'll cover the basics here.)
Let's begin by addressing some deceptive reporting at the top of the article: ‘But despite the mutual display of goodwill, South Africa had failed to convince the UAE to turn over the Gupta brothers, accused by South African authorities of looting the state.’
Two of the three Gupta brothers were arrested by the UAE back in June of 2022, and the third (and eldest) was just arrested in India this past weekend.
On October 10, 2019, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced in a tweet that the Trump Treasury was sanctioning the three Gupta brothers under EO 13818. ‘The Gupta family leveraged its political connections to engage in widespread corruption and bribery, capture government contracts, and misappropriate state assets.’
At the heart of the Gupta's corruption probe is former South African President Jacob Zuma, who we'll address in another take.
What is interesting are the notes in the article about the Emiratis acquiring the mining rights throughout Africa, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which we have been discussing this week in writing and on stream. ‘Last year, Primera, an Abu Dhabi-based gold trader, was granted a 25-year monopoly by the government of the Democratic Republic of Congo for all small-scale “artisanal” gold supplies in the country.’
The article also mentions a UAE company called International Resources Holding, chaired by UAE National Security Adviser Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan. It states that the IRH ‘last year paid $1.1bn for a majority stake in Mopani, a Zambian copper mine previously owned by Glencore.’
Glencore was spotlighted in a 2011 Reuters article entitled, ‘The biggest company you've never heard of.’ On July 3, 2018, Glencore alerted investors via a public statement that they had received a subpoena from Trump's Department of Justice. This was part of EO 13818, issued December 2017, as Glencore is linked with mining oligarch Dan Gertler (#3 on EO 13818) through their joint venture, Katanga Mining.
In December 2022, Glencore pled guilty to bribery and corruption charges (of DRC officials) issued by the US and UK, agreeing to pay $1.5B in penalties. As reported by Forbes back in March, IRH's acquisition of Glencore's Mopani Copper Mine company was a direct result of this settlement agreement.
TLDR: Trump's 2017 EO 13818 led directly to the 2024 ‘acquisition’ of nefarious mining companies in Africa by members of the Sovereign Alliance, in this case, the UAE.” —
South Africa’s surprise election challenger is evoking the past anti-apartheid struggle
The 59-year-old Dumisani Ndlovu has voted in every South Africa national election since he and the rest of the Black majority finally won the right 30 years ago. He has faithfully supported the liberation party-turned-ruling party African National Congress every time.
That ends on Wednesday. In a way, nostalgia is calling. Ndlovu in this week’s election is turning his support to the man, Jacob Zuma, whose career spanned from the liberation struggle to the presidency before falling out with his ANC colleagues and reemerging last year with a new political party.
That MK party, named after the ANC’s old armed wing, shows how the 82-year-old Zuma is leveraging the past to rally South Africans’ support against the ANC, which he himself once claimed would rule until “Jesus comes back.”
Here in the heartland of Zuma supporters, the eastern province of KwaZulu-Natal, cab driver Ndlovu has embraced the unlikely comeback of a political survivor after years of corruption allegations, criminal charges and prison. Even being barred from this election as a candidate for Parliament over a recent conviction hasn’t blunted Zuma’s influence.
“They think they have finished him, but we are with him all the way. The ANC will pay,” Ndlovu said. — AP News
Our Take: “So now, let's talk about the Hegemony's attempts to retake control of South Africa.
As I explained before, the Gupta brothers were targeted by Trump's EO 13818 in October 2019, and subsequently arrested two different members of the Sovereign Alliance: by the UAE in 2023, and by India in 2024.
From the Trump Treasury's sanctioning document: ‘The Gupta family leveraged its political connections to engage in widespread corruption and bribery, capture government contracts, and misappropriate state assets. Treasury’s designation targets the Guptas’ pay-to-play political patronage, which was orchestrated at the expense of the South African people,’
The document specifically cites the Guptas corrupt dealings with former South African President Jacob Zuma.
In 2002, while serving as deputy president of the African National Congress (ANC), Zuma was identified by South African authorities as a target of a corruption investigation into the high-profile 1999 Strategic Defense Procurement Package that equipped South Africa with weaponry. Investigators alleged that the deal ended up costing upward of 70 billion South African dollars, despite the contract amount only being 30 billion. Zuma was dismissed from the congress in 2005, after his close associate (who had wired money to Zuma) was convicted in the case.
Zuma was subsequently indicted, but those charges were later dropped.
He was indicted again in 2007—one week after being elected president of the ANC—on 12 counts of racketeering and money-laundering charges, but a high court judge ruled that those charges were invalid, because Zuma was not consulted before the indictments were issued. (?)
As a result, Zuma was allowed to serve simultaneously as both the [executive] President of South Africa, as well as the [legislative] President of the ANC, from 2008 until 2018, when he resigned upon the creation of the Zondo Commission, as public dissent against his overt corruption reached a fever pitch.
The Zondo Commission was formally known as ‘The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into Allegations of State Capture, Corruption and Fraud in the Public Sector including Organs of State,’ and ran its public inquiry from August 2018 until June 2022. At the heart of this inquiry was Zuma's ‘state capture’ of the South African government, in which 300 witnesses testified that this capture was facilitated in large part by the Gupta brothers, through disinformation disseminated by their media companies, and state contracts they had illegally procured for their portfolio of businesses. (Zuma was able to evade his prison sentence by claiming terminal illness.)
It is worth noting that the day after Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced US sanctions of the Gupta brothers, in October 2019, an article was published that detailed Russian President Vladimir Putin's campaign to establish economic and military ties with African nations, in coordination with China and the Wagner Group, which undermined the western hegemony's control over the continent. The article cites John Bolton's hysteria that Putin had become Africa's number one military supplier, while working to acquire lucrative mining rights long-held by western oligarchs.
So now Zuma has returned to challenge the man who assumed the presidency upon his departure and has been working with the Sovereign Alliance ever since: Cyril Ramaphosa. This puff piece from the AP never once mentions the Gupta brothers, which is a major indicator that Zuma is the hegemony's insurgent.” —
North Korea drops trash balloons on the South
North Korea has dropped at least 260 balloons carrying rubbish in the South, prompting authorities to warn its residents to stay indoors.
South Korea's military also cautioned the public against touching the white balloons and the plastic bags attached to them because they contain "filthy waste and trash".
The balloons have been found in eight of nine provinces in South Korea and are now being analysed.
North and South Korea have both used balloons in their propaganda campaigns since the Korean War in the 1950s.
South Korea's military had earlier said it was investigating whether there were any North Korean propaganda leaflets in the balloons.
The recent incident comes days after North Korea said it would retaliate against the "frequent scattering of leaflets and other rubbish" in border areas by activists in the South.
"Mounds of wastepaper and filth will soon be scattered over the border areas and the interior of the ROK and it will directly experience how much effort is required to remove them," North Korea's vice-minister of defence Kim Kang Il said in a statement to state media on Sunday. — BBC
Our Take: “Buried in, no kidding, the 17th paragraph of this BBC article, we get a much better sense of this conflict than we do in the headline and first 16 graphs.
‘Earlier this month, a South Korea-based activist group claimed it had sent 20 balloons carrying anti-Pyongyang leaflets and USB sticks containing Korean pop music and music videos across the border.’
If the North’s ‘trash balloons’ were in response to the South attempting to propagandize their people, that changes the context of their garbage response to the South.
That is, it was provoked.
Also, it’s illegal IN THE SOUTH to propagandize the North:
‘Seoul's parliament passed a law in December 2020 that criminalises the launch of anti-Pyongyang leaflets, but critics have raised concerns related to freedom of speech and human rights.’
It’s unclear if the Biden Administration will engage in ‘diplomacy’ as a result of these balloon wars. It’s also unclear if the Biden Administration actually has any effective diplomats considering the world is on fire across multiple theaters.
Managing poo flinging breakdowns in international relations is delicate diplomacy. In the case of Korea, scrotus may have greater success with outside diplomats than those of his failed state department.
Someone call Dennis Rodman.” —

Chief Justice Roberts declines to testify at Senate’s Supreme Court ethics hearing
Chief Justice John Roberts has declined a request from the Senate Judiciary Committee to testify at a hearing next week on ethical standards at the court, instead providing the panel with a statement of ethics reaffirmed by the court’s nine justices.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin, D-Ill., invited Roberts’ testimony last week, saying that there had been a “steady stream of revelations” regarding Supreme Court justices “falling short of ethical standards expected of other federal judges.”
The invitation came after news reports that detailed a close relationship between Justice Clarence Thomas and a conservative donor from Texas. The donor, Dallas billionaire Harlan Crow, had purchased three properties belonging to Thomas and his family in a transaction worth more than $100,000 that Thomas never reported, according to the nonprofit investigative journalism organization ProPublica.
In a letter to Durbin on Tuesday, Roberts said he would “respectfully decline” the committee’s request. — AP News
US close to deal to bankroll Moderna bird flu vaccine trial
The US government is nearing an agreement to bankroll a late-stage trial of Moderna’s mRNA pandemic bird flu vaccine, hoping to bolster its pandemic jab stockpile as an H5N1 outbreak spreads through egg farms and among cattle herds.
The federal funding from the government’s Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, known as Barda, could come as early as next month, according to people close to the discussions.
It is expected to total several tens of millions of dollars, and could be accompanied by a commitment to procure doses if the phase-three trials are successful, they said.
Talks between the government and Pfizer over supporting the development of its mRNA vaccine targeting the H5 family of viruses are also ongoing. Pfizer, like Moderna, played a pivotal role in supplying mRNA vaccines for Washington’s jab rollout during the Covid-19 pandemic. — Financial Times

I do love BB’s mind but I am not keen on “Nuclear America” for our future. I can see it as a cleaner short stepping stone to completely disengage from the NWO Green scam but to go all out on pouring billions into nuclear infrastructure, no. And to use “Tesla” in the definition of a nuclear future?? While I recognize that BB is referring to Musk, still Tesla to me is Nikola Tesla and more aligned with the zero-point energy field which is where the billions should go!!
