My primary awakening point was the Patriot Act - specifically the removal of the sunset provisions - which hastened the gutting of our Bill of Rights.

Since then I have made it my policy to reject any form of "anti" bias legislation - like "hate" crime laws which became "hate" speech laws which became CRT and DEI, etc.

I was not happy with the spate of "anti" laws passed after 10/7/23 - not because I want some people to be mistreated but because I don't want anyone treated differently. It has proven to be a slippery slope and one that is absolutely unnecessary if we would just enforce the Constitution without bias for all citizens and reject the compounding of laws which is not only unnecessary, IMO, but a proven means of bondage in the guise of freedom.

My point: as one born of the Spirit and Ransomed by the sacrifice of Jesus - I do not want to confuse the issue by asking or expecting to be treated as anything other than equal to anyone else. After all, that is exactly how God Himself sees us!

💯 agree. All that is really needed is a clear statement clarifying the founding principles of separation of church and state. Bring back the Constitution.

Chantal's avatar

I’m aware of that, I was referring to the first amendment which implies it.

ALtab's avatar

Exactly correct! God truly used the founding fathers to establish our constitutional republic in accordance with God’s principles and the rule of law, although the fathers weren’t all believers. We are all created equal so, of course, that’s one of the first things the evil one uses his minions for (one of many attacks). We’ve been given another chance and I pray we listen better than the Hebrews did when they were given additional chances.🙏🙏

HGV, you mean Preferential Treatment? I hope you are not referring to Trump protecting Christians. After all, the USA was founded on Christian principles. I think Trump is making sure that anti-Christian sentiment doesn’t become a problem in colleges like anti-Semitism may have. It is about drawing our attention to a potential problem. https://www.wweek.com/news/schools/2025/02/03/feds-open-antisemitism-investigation-of-portland-state-university/

We can debate how close to Biblical doctrine some of our founders actually stood (many were caught up in the Epicurean "revival" that was produced in the "enlightenment" period which presented itself in terms such as "providence") but for the most part...yes we were! And I thank God for that reality.

As for protecting us - my reading of the Constitution already guarantees equal treatment - if by protecting us he means to make sure our laws are being applied without bias I am all in!!!

God hates an unjust scale and corrupted "weights" - what I have seen is that what begins as an attempt to prevent injustice is fairly quickly corrupted into the compounding of the laws of men.

I believe that the victory God desires for us comes when we live as citizens of His kingdom in whatever earthly nation we happen to be born. Here we are blessed to have a system in place that enables that - so I think you and I are aligned.

Providence only comes about when people choose to embrace truth.

Ashe "Public support for gender-based discrimination has crumbled"

Let's get serious about this. There was NEVER actual public support for this. There was "narrative" support that was written into doctrine by the cabalist left. It was preached at the highest levels of the democrat elite and part of their agenda. It was promoted in the media and entertainment industries (as required by the Deep State and all of their funding entities within the government as has been exposed by DOGE). And anyone speaking out against it were publicly shamed and cancelled.

We have been living in a color revolution of sorts since 2009, the depths of which the normie level are only now becoming aware of. And their heads are exploding.

It's a beautiful thing to watch!

Ashe in America's avatar

Excellent point, poor word choice on my part. Should have said “the fake public support”

This isn't a brief today, it's a digest, filled not only with oodles of information, but also revelation after revelation. We keep winning, and I keep learning. What a headline: "Women’s sports are now only for women!” I guess this means the Bearded Ladies will have to go back to shaving in the Men's Locker Rooms again. Hahaha.

Jim Schout's avatar

The key is, who can argue against any of this? Everything makes sense and shines a light on how nonsensical our past has been.

ALtab's avatar

This is absolutely the key point, Jim!! The narratives are always aimed at the city dwellers. Common sense never left flyover country, which of course, ticked off the screeching left. Narratives are being debunked at such a rapid pace….what I time to live in!

Chantal's avatar

Did you all notice how Bibi looked surprised when Trump said “we will own it” about Gaza? 🤔

ALtab's avatar

There is so much more to Israel and its corrupt government. This might take several more moves to arrive at the goal….can’t figure out what that is at this point, but time will tell us.

"Gifting the commemorative pagers to President Trump felt almost like a veiled threat, and certainly in poor taste, considering that they represent a large-scale assassination operation, and one that inadvertently killed children."

Ghost, thank you for calling this out. I was greatly disturbed by this gift, too. The thought even crossed my mind that it could be detonated if and when Bibi so chooses. Put that thing somewhere it can't go off and kill anybody!

JamesDuff's avatar

Agree this gift is in very bad taste!

Lone Star exile's avatar

It is a despicable gift--shameless and unconscionable, given by people who are "brute beasts" 2nd Peter 2:12.

Thanks for today's Takes.

I will miss y'all over the weekend...

Hurry back Monday:-)

God Wins!

God Bless!!!

Used to be nothing much ever happened over the weekend. Seems there's a new sheriff in town. At last. Thank God Almighty!

Everybody on X: “Why should I pay my federal taxes?????” Are there enough objectors now? In principle yes, I suspect so. In action we’ll see. My mom is still joking that she doesn’t want to go to Gitmo. Please tell your reticent friends to wait and at least file an extension. It is dead easy. The penalty and interest rate are low. Let’s see what happens.

Wild Bill's avatar

And there is no penalty if you've already paid quarterly safe harbor payments.

Kelly McCulloch's avatar

Exactly. Maybe those will eventually be returned? 🤓

Wild Bill's avatar

Whatever happens to income taxes will be reflected in Treasury checks to taxpayers. However I do not expect Trump to retroactively exempt any classes of income from taxation in 2024 and before. It will be this year and beyond when the benefits of the changes start to be felt.

Moral to the story: best to pay your 2024 taxes as normal. If Trump were to retroactively change the law, you'll get a refund. If not, you won't go to jail or pay penalties. And look forward to less (maybe no) income taxes in the future.

Kelly McCulloch's avatar

I look forward to an (accurate) accounting of how many people refuse to submit in 2024. I think it will depend on disclosure within the next 60 days

Wild Bill's avatar

I expect people will do what Trump tells them to. That in turn will be based on his plans to reform the income tax.

If you look at Newsome’s new house, his roof is blue so to make your house more fire resistant just paint your roof blue

Wild Bill's avatar

You may recall that houses in Lahaina with blue roofs did not burn, even in neighborhoods where everything else burned to the ground. If a DEW was used, it would most likely operate in the visible range because the atmosphere is most transparent at those wavelengths. And blue is the most energetic color in the visible spectrum. Hmmmm....

ALtab's avatar

Much more has to be revealed, doesn’t it? Good point!

Wild Bill's avatar

Indeed. The disclosure is just now getting started in earnest.

Hope the Secret Service checked out that pager that Bibi gave Trump....

Wild Bill's avatar

Since the PETN was in the battery, easiest thing is make sure there's no battery in the device.

It's not like Trump would ever actually use the thing.

But still a most strange and I would agree with many, inappropriate gift.

There is a lot going on between Bibi and Trump, in the mists over the lake...

“…a task force led by Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate the ‘targeting’ of Christians”

good. a great place to start would be tracking down any and all senior leaders who required subordinates to submit for religious exemptions from vaccine mandates. start there and shake the trees. a lot will probably fall out.

I am baffled by the lack of simple explanations concerning climate change. It really isn’t that tough. Proving mankind is totally insignificant to the climate actually takes about 45 seconds and anyone can do it without leaving your chair.

Ask your phone search engine for the total weight of dry air in our atmosphere. Multiply by 0.24 BTU per pound, which is the energy needed to change a pound of dry air one degree F.

That gets us to total energy of one degree of change. Look at how much the temperature in your location changed yesterday. It went up and it went down, but each degree was huge in total energy transferred.

The total energy used by humans in a year can be divided into the number and we find that one degree of atmospheric change equals 4.326 years of man’s total use. But, if the total change yesterday was 20 degrees and yesterday was merely typical, we must multiply 20 by 365 by 4.326 to get a fair comparison between humans and global warming.

I get 31,580 years versus one year. So, yesterday you personally witnessed the impact of manmade global warming on the globe. So if mankind continues to use energy at our present rate, it will take 31,580 years to equal what God’s Earth did yesterday and it was free to us.

Now, what about tomorrow? What if the temperature changes 30 degrees? I hope I have helped put us into perspective. We are not in control of our climate and anyone claiming we can change it is a damned liar.

So, why are you hearing this from me? That is the real question. This ain’t rocket science. This is relatively simple math.

Goose. Gander. Good.

Men’s sports should be for men.

Now let’s do direct combat roles in the military.

You’ve got 3 ghost of Patrick Henry articles in here that are all anti Israel. I don’t think we should support any foreign notation. But I think your selection of letting GPH write all things anti Israel stuff isn’t really hitting with a lot of readers. It’s not very high up on anyone’s list. Maybe GPH should just go march around with the college students.

Jim Schout's avatar

I write daily about how screwed up our government is in reality. I hope that doesn’t make me anti-American.

Ghost sees the same corrupt leadership in other governments and that, to me, is a plus.

Wild Bill's avatar

I think it is more nuanced than 'anti-Israel' or 'anti-semitic.' I do not believe that Ghost dislikes the average Israeli or Jews in general.

What I believe he does not like is militant Zionism, and extremists who practice it. Who are well-represented in both the Israeli government and US pro-Israel factions.

ALtab's avatar

I think he has taken the time and his research ability to dig deep enough into the subject that he’s found much more than we average non-anon. My research indicates that the founding of Israel is very different from what we’ve been told. It may not even be legitimate. We’ll see.

Wild Bill's avatar

Indeed, ALtab. We shall indeed see. I think that the normies will be gobsmacked, and even the anons will be astonished at the depth of the corruption and malfeasance. Not just regarding Israel, but everywhere.

Boflys's avatar

I agree. I think we shouldn’t give a dime to Israel. And I think they have a way disproportionate influence. Dude is a good writer. It’s just every time I read the first two sentences of his articles I know it’s him cause that’s all he does anymore. Just a fairly worthless opinion. I’d like to see him do some other topics because he’s a good writer is all.
