All of the worlds great religions (and here we could include Communism, Free Masonry, The Science, and many more besides), in as much as it is possible, have been bent towards the control and division of man. If we are to free ourselves and our fellow man we must suss out the real Truth, Beauty, Goodness, and Joy, that has been twisted into our chains. Articles such as the above shed light on that forge of lies and should be examined in that context, not used blindly as proof of malevolence further contributing to the division of those who might work together and casting yet another chain upon the minds those who would be free.

In other words if this article pissed you off check your dogma, it’s not your strength it’s your cell.

Thanks for sharing this. I studied these disciplines for a number of years during the 60s and 70s and have several volumes on these teachings. I am very happy that some people are reawakening to the teachings of the wise pagan practitioners. I studied comparative religions and beliefs. Enlightenment is all. All is not lost.

What an excellent assessment of this philosophy! I'm not sure how controversial this might really be if we had all of the truths of our history to evaluate. Until that day, however, I agree with you regarding knowledge, even if it in part or in total isn't commensurate with current beliefs. We can't think critically without gaining knowledge. Interesting, isn't it, that what has been created for good will always be usurped to be used against the original purpose? For evil purposes?

Thank you for another excellent post!!

Extremely valuable, thank you so much for this information!

And a prayer for brainwashed people who think that God is small enough to be contained in any one religion.

It's incredible that people can subscribe to religions which describe God as Omnipresent (which virtually all religions do), yet think "Yeah, but he's not present in ways/places/situatons *I* am not comfortable with!"

Find truth where it can be found.

I read the first book that was linked, just to get an idea of what he was talking about. This was all very new to me.

I found this:

The Divine Pymander of Hermes Mercurius Trismegistus

In 17 Books

Book One

10. ...and that which is Good, desireth to be set at Liberty; but the things that are Evil, love Bondage and Slavery.

To assume that we, in modernity, with our ancient Judeo-Christian texts, are the only humans to have discovered that the above is true seems a bit arrogant.

Am I promoting this book as “the word of God” or some wonderfully insightful and spiritually uplifting tome? No. Not even close.

But if you find truth, celebrate it. No matter where you happen to find it.

Unfortunately if you all put as much effort into learning who God is as taught to us through Judaism and Christianity the world would be a better place indeed. Instead you use your words to bring out your egotism and think we really care about your esoteric knowledge. If indeed you were good or holy people your discussion would be about the wonderful qualities of God and His teaching through various cultures. If you are all so interested in what you say you are then why not accept others who don’t acknowledge your interests? Of course not, its the very idea that some of the commentators here think that truth does not exist ‘and yet you’re argument is trying to teach a dead and quite honestly very simple concepts. It can’t hold a candle to the esoteric knowledge of Judaism. Instead you spend time on unimportant matters.

The author of this article is also out of touch with the world because at time of great mourning over deaths and suffering that is being caused by people with their own dark agenda you are creating a narrative that no one really knows and cares about. Why is that? It’s because you’re all as irrelevant as your esoteric diatribe.

Pseudo-philosophical, risible, self-refuting nonsense that doesn't even pass the giggle test.

"All truths, are but half-truths"

If true, than that would also apply to THAT^ truth. Which makes it incoherent nonsense.

I could do the same with most of those Seven Hermetic "principles" (heavy quotation marks.)

I have become increasingly wary of Badlands Media; and am increasingly of the opinion that they are Freemason interlopers.

Just wondering if you are aware of "Compendium of The Emerald Tablets" as put out by Billy Carson of 4biddenknowledge?! It makes the most sense to me as to The Bigger Picture of The Universes. All arises from a 'thought'!!
