How did those of us “awake” get there? I think for many of us, 9/11 was the trigger, the shock that became questions and theories and the answers led to more shock and more questions. 9/11 was a kind of “precipice” - a fundamental shift out of our comfort zones and thus a willingness to become better informed. Intellectual and emotional “quakes” have been going on since. It was the first precipice that woke many people up. (JFK assassination was a precipice also but we didn’t have the internet and the social media connections we had after 9/11)
