I agree with the majority of this article, but it seems to me a key point is missed. Gold, Silver, Bitcoin, or government bonds are investments that produce absolutely nothing. As such they are valued by their ability to hold value rather than their ability to actually grow value.
Elon Musk is a representative of value that grows exponentially, by design. All business exists due to it’s ability to stay in business and that can only occur if the business earns a profit. So, the one investment that gives a growing return is ownership of stock. The only real question is, “Which stocks to own?”
If we go back to 1871 and look at what the “investors” in the U. S. CORPORATION were actually buying was the future earnings of our businesses, not our silly government. I just finished reading, "The Creature from Jekyll Island." I should have read it the first time I heard it mentioned since awaking Nov 2020. Erik's points about the Fed and taking it down are well explained in this book. I connected a lot of dots of how money has been used throughout recorded history. There actually were some cases where banking was honest! 800 years in the Byzantine times was the longest. I encourage everyone to read it. There were a few parts that kept my interest so strongly that I didn't get to bed early enough! The end has a number of points Mr. Griffin lists as ways to change the slave system Erik refers to can be broken. It reflects what I hear about by by getting Trump back into leadership. I think the ideas dovetail very well. Asset backed currency is a must. The book goes back to colonial days, didn't know the Massachussests Bay Colony made incursions into Canada and had to print money that created chaos. It goes back that far in our own history. Reading about colonial times made me understand why the framers of our Constitution gave Congress the ability to mint coins, (not print money). You say people put money in banks for interest but all the people I know moved their money to Credit Union and only use banks to pay bills. I only have $10 or less in my checking account when finished each month.
