So far in this series, we’ve discussed the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the World Economic Forum. In this edition, we’ll be going over another highly influential, clandestine faction of the Cabal: the Bilderberg Group.
The Bilderbergers, as you might have guessed, are yet another group of extremely powerful men and women—many of them belonging to royal European bloodlines—who convene annually in semisecret to discuss the ‘issues of the day.’ Naturally, the more conspiracy-minded observers claim that the group conspires to manufacture and manage world events; they may not be wrong.
The Bilderbergs came about in the wake of the creation of the European Union, which some believe had been the goal of several ancient orders dating as far back as the era of Merovingian King Dagobert II. This alleged brotherhood, concealed within Freemasonry, but hidden from lower-degree Masons, is the supposed progenitor of what we call “globalism” today. Their goal throughout the ages has been to dominate all of Europe and eventually the world (more on these claims in future installments).
Another important aspect of the group’s creation is that the constitutions of several democratic monarchies in Western Europe ban members of their royal families from playing an active role in the political process; however, Bilderberg meetings provide the perfect forum and platform for them, offering a workaround for royal bloodlines to maintain control over policy.
The group in question originally had no name but has been identified with the Bilderberg Hotel in Oosterbeek, Holland, where it was first discovered by the public in 1954.
The group’s first U.S. meet-up took place in February of 1957, on Saint Simons Island near Jekyll Island, Georgia.
The official creation of this highly secret organization came about in the early 1950s following unofficial meetings between members of Europe's elite in the 1940s. They included European foreign ministers, Holland's Prince Bernhard, and Polish socialist Dr. Joseph Hieronim Retinger, a founder of the European Movement after World War II. Retinger became known as the "father of the Bilderbergers."
Retinger was first ushered to America by then U.S. ambassador to England, Averell Harriman, who was additionally a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. During this trip, he is said to have visited prominent citizens such as David and Nelson Rockefeller, John Foster Dulles, and then CIA Director Walter Bedell Smith. Previously, Retinger had formed the American Committee on a United Europe along with future CIA Director and CFR member Allen Dulles, then CFR Director George Franklin, CIA official Thomas Braden, and William Donovan, former chief of the CIA’s predecessor, the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). Donovan began his intelligence career as an operative of J. R. Morgan Jr. of all people and was known as an "Anglophile," a supporter of close British-American relations. Retinger continued his participation in Bilderberg meetings until his death in 1960.
Another CIA-connected individual who helped facilitate the rise of the Bilderbergers was Life magazine publisher C. D. Jackson, who served under President Eisenhower as a "special consultant for psychological warfare." (#)
Many in the American legacy media have met with the Bilderbergers over the years; however, little or nothing ever seems to get reported on regarding the group or its activities. This has led some writers to claim that the Bilderbergers request censorship and news management.
As with the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderbergers often carry cross-membership in two or more of these three groups.
Upon searching the internet for any kind of testimony regarding these exclusive gatherings, I came across a story from one “Dr. Kitty Little” that, if true, sheds some insight into the long-term planning capabilities of this secretive group. Dr. Little, who claims to have worked for Britain's Ministry of Aircraft Production during World War II and later the Atomic Energy Research Establishment, recounted how she attended the meeting of a Labour Party "study group" at Oxford University in 1940. The speaker that evening was a young man who claimed to be part of a "Marxist takeover" plot. The speaker said he was a member of a nameless group (it was supposedly nameless by design to make it harder to prove its existence) that aimed to engineer Marxist control in Britain, Europe, and parts of Africa. He explained that since Britons distrusted extremists, group members would pose as moderates, which would allow them to dismiss critics as right-wingers.
The speaker added that he had been selected to head the group's political section and that he expected to be named prime minister of the United Kingdom someday. The speaker was Harold Wilson, who indeed became prime minister during the 1960s and 70s.
It is believed that the group Wilson was referring to is what we now colloquially refer to as the Bilderbergers.
Wilson isn’t the only head of state to have mingled with the Bilderbergers. In 1991, then-Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton was honored as a Bilderberg guest. The next year, he ran for and won the presidency of the United States. After his election, Clinton made no mention of the Bilderberg meetings, but, according to The Spotlight (a Washington tabloid that has covered Bilderberg conferences for years), Hillary Clinton attended in 1997, becoming the first American first lady to do so. Thereafter, talk steadily grew of her destined role in politics.
The primary impetus for the Bilderberger meetings came from Dutch Prince Bernhard, whose full name and title was Bernhard Julius Coert Karel Godfried Pieter, Prince of the Netherlands, and Prince of Lippe-Biestetfeld.
Bernhard was a former member of the Nazi Schutzstaffel (SS) and an employee of Germany's I.G. Farben in Paris. (#) In 1937, he married Princess Juliana of the Netherlands and became a major shareholder and officer in Dutch Shell Oil, along with Britain's Lord Victor Rothschild. After the Germans invaded Holland, the royal couple moved to London. It was here, after the war, that Rothschild and Retinger encouraged Prince Bernhard to create the Bilderberg group. The prince personally chaired the group until 1976, when he resigned following revelations that he had accepted large payoffs from Lockheed to promote the sale of its aircraft in Holland.
The Bilderberg chairmanship has been held by several influential individuals, including Britain's Lord Peter Carrington, a former cabinet minister, secretary-general of NATO, and president of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, a sister organization to the CFR. Carrington has been linked to the Rothschild banking empire by both business connections and marriage. The current chairman is French businessman Henri de Castries.
Though the Bilderbergs are indeed primarily European, America has always been intimately involved. Well-known American participants include CFR members George Ball (banker, diplomat), Dean Acheson (lawyer, U.S. Sec. of State), Dean Rusk (U.S. Sec. of State), McGeorge Bundy (U.S. National Security Advisor), Christian Herter (U.S. Sec. of State), Zbigniew Brzezinski (Trilateral Commission, Rockefeller protege/confidant), Douglas Dillon (U.S. Ambassador to France), J. Robert Oppenheimer (theoretical physicist, “father of the atomic bomb”), Walter Reuther (labor leader, civil rights activist), Jacob Javits (lawyer, politician), Robert McNamara (business exec, U.S. Sec. of Defense), Walter Bedell Smith, and General Lyman Leminitzer.
Other noteworthy attendees have included J. William Fulbright, Henry Ford II, Georges-Jean Pompidou, Giscard d'Estaing, Helmut Schmidt, and France's Baron Edmond de Rothschild.
According to author Neil Wilgus:
“the Bilderbergers are a sort of unofficial CFR, expanded to an international scale,"
Author’s note: If you are unfamiliar with the Council on Foreign Relations, I encourage you to read PART 1 of this series.
Dr. John Coleman, an author and former intelligence officer, claimed that:
“The Bilderberg Conference is the creation of MI6 under the direction of the Royal Institute of International Affairs.”(#)
The Royal Institute of International Affairs (or Chatham House) is the British extension of the CFR. Considering the U.S. intelligence connections, it also can be legitimately argued that the conferences have been at least partially organized and sponsored by the CIA.
Investigative reporter James P. Tucker wrote:
"The Bilderberg agenda is much the same as that of its brother group, the Trilateral Commission. . . . The two groups have an interlocking leadership and a common vision of the world. David Rockefeller founded the Trilateral but shares power in the older Bilderberg group with Rothschilds of Britain and Europe."(#)
Author’s note: For more information on the Trilateral Commission, see PART 2 of this series.
The Bilderbergs meet annually at plush resorts around the globe, where their activities are cloaked in complete secrecy despite the attendance by American media personnel. Although the group claims to merely hold informal discussions on world affairs, there is evidence that its recommendations often become official policy.
Jack Sheinkman, chairman of Amalgamated Bank and a Bilderberger member, stated in 1996:
"In some cases discussions do have an impact and become policy. The idea of a common European currency was discussed several years back before it became policy. We had a discussion about the U.S. establishing formal relations with China before Nixon actually did it."(#)
It could well be that Sheinkman is one of those Bilderberger members who do not understand the true goals of the group's elite leadership. Much like the Templars in the Freemasons, the Bilderbergs could have an inner elite circle privy to the true agenda while the rest of the group are not.
And what is this "true agenda"'? It may have been revealed when Prince Bernhard stated:
"It is difficult to reeducate the people who have been brought up on nationalism to the idea of relinquishing part of their sovereignty to a supernational body...."
Józef Retinger and the Templar Connection
As mentioned above, Retinger is seen by many researchers as the “father of the Bilderbergs”.
Retinger was a Polish scholar, publicist, scholar, and an “international political activist” (a polite way of saying “globalist”) who just so happened to have had access to some of the leading power brokers of the 20th century.
Retinger was also a Freemason with a reputation as a “grey eminence” or Éminence grise, a term that denotes an individual who is a powerful decision-maker or adviser who operates "behind the scenes", or in a non-public or unofficial capacity. (#)
After the outbreak of World War II, Retinger became the principal adviser to the Polish government-in-exile formed in the aftermath of the invasion of Poland. After World War II, he went on to cofound the European Movement, which led to the establishment of the European Union (a goal that had been pursued by many sub-groups hidden within Freemasonry and the Templars for centuries), and of course, was instrumental in forming the Bilderberg Group. Retinger was the initiator and architect of the informal Bilderberg conferences in 1952-54 and was their permanent secretary until his premature death in London in 1960.
His original purpose for forming the group, ostensibly, was to,
“stimulate understanding between Europe and the US as the Cold War developed by bringing together financiers, industrialists, politicians and opinion formers.”(#)
A founding member of the group, later British Labour Foreign Secretary, Healey, described the secretive Bilderberg meetings as being the "brainchild" of Retinger.
At his funeral in 1960, Sir Edward Bedington-Behrens said:
"I remember Retinger in the United States picking up the telephone and immediately making an appointment with the President, and in Europe he had complete entrée in every political circle as a kind of right acquired through trust, devotion and loyalty he inspired."
Retinger, as a Catholic, was viewed by many as an agent of the Vatican, acting in liaison between the Pope and the Father-General of the Jesuit order. From his earlier days at the Sorbonne, Retinger believed in greater European unity, both in military and economic terms. It was also at this time that his interest in the guidance of the Jesuit order manifested itself. He spent a great deal of his time fulfilling these ambitions. He suggested to Premier Georges Clemenceau a plan to unite Eastern Europe-involving the merging of Austria, Hungary, and Poland as a tripartite monarchy under the guidance of the Jesuit order.
Clemenceau, doubtful of the Vatican-inspired plan, rejected Retinger’s proposal outright. This plan labeled Retinger, thereafter, as a Vatican agent.
Retinger’s ambitions were not confined to Europe. Through his several trips to Mexico, he played a key role in the creation of a trade union movement in the 1920s. Due to his unprecedented success, and by gaining the Mexican Government’s trust, Retinger convinced them to nationalize the US oil interest in Mexico. In the process, Retinger conducted secret negotiations with Washington for the Mexican Government.
Due to his high-profile career, in the 1950s he was able to create contacts with numerous high-ranking military officials and political leaders. His main aim was to unite the world in peace. His peace dividend was to be under the control of supernational, powerful organizations.
He believed that such organizations would be immune from short-term ideological conflicts erupting between governments. To Retinger, it was insignificant what dominated the economic ideology of a country. He believed these differences could be brought into line by powerful multinational organizations dictating and applying powerful economic and military policies, thereby creating a union and a bond between the nations.
Retinger’s personal ’left-wing’ views from his heady days convinced him that many leaders of newly born socialist and communist nations would be prepared to talk to him. Additionally, his church background gave him an arena for dialogue with people from the middle ground in international relations.
Nevertheless, Retinger knew that control of world affairs could not be achieved without US participation. In pursuit of this ideology, he began a campaign for the creation of an Atlantic Community. This would make the development of Europe an important political aim for American politicians, thereby preventing their retreat into political isolation.
It was always important to these international movers and shakers to keep America involved in, and under the thumb of, globalism.
Speaking of globalism, the medieval Knights Templar aimed for a unified Europe (and eventually the world) under centralized control, which appears to be well on its way to becoming a reality thanks to groups like the Bilderbergers. George McGhee, a Bilderberger and former U.S. ambassador to West Germany, acknowledged that:
"the Treaty of Rome, which brought the European Common Market into being, was nurtured at Bilderberg meetings."
Bilderbergs Today
Nearly 70 years later, the Bilderberg Group still meets and draws scrutiny from alternative media the world over.
While the annual meetings are still a subject of interest for many journalists and conspiracy theorists today, the focus has shifted to more public-facing groups like Klaus Schwab’s World Economic Forum.
Author’s note: for more information on the World Economic Forum, see PART 3 of this series.
As we mentioned previously, the individuals involved with the Bilderbergs maintain cross-membership in the other organizations that we’ve covered in this series. You’ll typically see the same families cropping up as attendants to these various exclusive gatherings, but none more so than the Rockefeller family, particularly the youngest son, David.
Several wealthy and well-known businessmen constituted what amounted to "American royalty" in the early part of the twentieth century: steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, banker Andrew Mellon, and transportation moguls Cornelius Vanderbilt and Edward Harriman. But none approached the lasting power or international ties of the Rockefellers and Morgans, who we will focus on exclusively in the next installment.
I wish there was more I could say about the Bilderbergs, but as I’ve stressed throughout this series, these groups are truly clandestine secret societies in that, outside of being part of the inner circle and clipping quotes from those who’ve attended, we can only guess as to what goes on.

The freedom of the individual will never be safe as long as these Elite have power to control. IMHO, the greatest weapon against them is sunlight and never complying willingly with their mandates.
Yikes... right under our noses. Your research is astounding. Thank you!
