The Rothschilds

So far in this series, we’ve discussed the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, the World Economic Forum, the Bilderberg Group and the Rockefellers. In this edition, we’ll be going over another highly influential, clandestine faction of the Cabal: the Rothschilds.
In our last installment, we covered the closest thing America has ever had to a royal family: the Rockefellers. Though the Carnegies, Vanderbilts, and Morgans were all quite successful, none would reach the same level as the Rockefeller family. But there is another, much older family worth discussing; one who was historically closely intertwined with all of the great American families, and one that any conspiracy researcher worth their salt has probably encountered many times: the Rothschild family.
In this piece, we will take time to briefly cover the oft-recanted tale of how Mayer Amschell Rothschild sent his five sons to all of the primary European power centers to spread the family’s banking dynasty. What I hope to spend more time on, and what I hope will set this piece apart from the myriad repetitive essays on the family, is the mention of the family’s connections to the occult as well as their connections to much older and arguably more powerful clandestine forces still operating across Europe today.
The Currently-Accepted Rothschild Origin Story
This now notorious banking dynasty is said to have been the sole creation of Mayer Amschel Bauer, a German Jew born on February 23, 1744, in Frankfurt in an area called "Judengasse,” or Jew lane. At the time, Frankfurt was a hotbed of anti-Semitism stemming from the widely publicized philosophies of both Immanuel Kant and Johann Fichte.
The young Mayer Bauer originally studied to become a Rabbi. It is said that he was particularly well-schooled in Hashkalah, an amalgamation of religion, Hebrew law, and reason, which had become popular during the Age of Enlightenment (the “Enlightenment” being an era manufactured by agents of the high cabal, i.e., Abbe Conti and Sir Isaac Newton—more on this in future installments). The death of his parents caused the young Mayer to leave Rabbinical School and enter the world of finance by becoming an apprentice at a banking house.
As the story goes, Mayer was a natural and quickly found himself employed as the court financial agent to William IX, the royal administrator of the Hesse-Kassel region and a prominent Freemason. (It is through this connection that we speculate Mayer was initiated into the “High Cabal,” which for years had operated out of Venice and eventually Geneva, Switzerland.)
The young Mayer is said to have “ingratiated himself” to William, who was only one year older than himself, by joining his interest in Freemasonry and antiquities. Considering his Rabbinical training coupled with his serious searches for antiquities, he surely developed a deep understanding of the ancient mysteries, particularly those of the Jewish Cabala. Coincidentally, it was during this same period that the metaphysics of the Cabala began to fuse with the traditions of Freemasonry.
Mayer Bauer would also add to his client list the royal German family of Thurn und Taxis, a descendant of which would be executed as a member of the secret society (Thule) that created Adolf Hitler.
Author’s Note: It is believed by some that Hitler himself was an illegitimate Rothschild bastard. I am not going to support these claims here simply because I have not invested the time and effort to determine whether or not they have merit. It is always worth noting that a large portion of what gets branded as “conspiracy theories” is intentionally crafted and disseminated misinformation that makes us all look crazy.
The prominent Thurn and Taxis family administered a courier service throughout the Holy Roman Empire. Rothschild biographer Derek Wilson noted how this new client benefited the family:
"They prospered because they received before their rivals news of market trends, commodity prices, and major political events,"
Mayer saw firsthand that information, especially when obtained quickly, often translated to opportunity. To prevent prying eyes from reading their mail, the family wrote all correspondence in Judendeutsch, German written in Hebrew characters. This code has apparently prevented most researchers from having a clear understanding of their methods and intentions.
During this time, according to The New Encyclopaedia Britannica,
"Mayer set the pattern that his family was to follow so successfully—to do business with reigning houses by preference and to father as many sons as possible who could take care of the family's many business affairs abroad."
According to various authors, particularly those who dissent from the mainstream view of the Rothschilds, the family earned their initial fortune by embezzling from William IX, who was paid an enormous sum by the British government to provide Hessian soldiers to fight American colonists during the Revolutionary War. As the story goes, William handed over this money to Mayer for investment, but instead it reportedly was used to establish his son Nathan as head of the London branch of the family banking house. Mayer eventually repaid the money, but Nathan manipulated the situation in such a way that this became the origin of the enormous Rothschild fortune.
Rothschild-friendly biographer Derek Wilson even acknowledged this when he wrote,
"It was the temporary diversion of the immense sums of money originating in HesseKassel which enabled N. M. [as Nathan liked to be called] to launch his banking operation, providing him with both liquidity and prestige."
Wanting his sons to succeed on their own and to expand the family business across Europe, Mayer Amschel Rothschild had his eldest son remain in Frankfurt, while his four other sons were sent to different European cities to establish financial institutions to invest in a business and provide banking services.
From their home base in Frankfurt, Rothschild's sons not only established themselves in the UK but also in Paris, Vienna, and Naples. They were referred to as the “Frankfurt Five” and were carefully schooled and groomed to loyally further the family business.
It was around this time that Mayer Bauer changed the family name from Bauer to Rothschild. The name is derived from the German zum rothen Schild (with the old spelling "th"), meaning "at the red shield", in reference to the house where the family lived for many generations in the Judengasse (in those days, houses were designated not by numbers, but by signs displaying different symbols or colors,).
In 1785, the Rothschilds shared quarters with a family named Schiff. A grandson, Jacob Schiff. immigrated to America in 1865 after meeting Abraham Kuhn. who invited him to join his New York investment firm. In 1875, young Schiff married the daughter of Solomon Loeb, then head of the powerful investment banking firm of Kuhn, Loeb & Company of New York City. Schiff became head of the firm in 1885 with the death of Loeb. It was Schiff who financed the purchase of the Union Pacific for railroad magnate Edward H. Harriman—father of later world-statesman Averell Harriman (who we’ve mentioned throughout the series). Both Schiff and Harriman would play important roles in the rise of communism in Russia.
Rothschild Influence and Zionism: “It’s the Jews!”
Biographer Niall Ferguson once wrote,
"From the earliest days, the Rothschilds appreciated the importance of proximity to politicians, the men who determined not only the extent of budget deficits but also the domestic and foreign policies… Rothschild influence extended to royalty as well. Nathan first came into contact with British royalty thanks to his father's purchase of outstanding debts owed by George, Prince Regent—later King George IV—and his brothers."
Ferguson traced Rothschild's influence through British royalty to Queen Victoria's prince consort, Albert and his son. The British Rothschilds would become quite close to most prominent Victorian politicians, such as Lord John Russell, Lord William Gladstone, Benjamin Disraeli, Arthur Balfour, Joseph Chamberlain, and Lord Randolph Churchill, Winston's father.
Authors Note: This may be a good time to address claims that the modern secret societies, either wittingly or otherwise, are furthering the aims of an international Jewish conspiracy. While it is undoubtedly true that many of the world's wealthy elite have (or at least claim) a Jewish heritage, one should not be sidetracked by the issue of race or religion. I know people will disagree with me, but there are other groups at play here and the average Jew shouldn’t have to take all of the flack for what a small group of individuals claiming Jewish heritage has done over the centuries. The masterminds of Venice, Khazaria, Geneva, etc. have spanned many different cultures; to put the blame on any single group is to play into the hand of these international criminals. Additionally, most anti-Semitic arguments lack an understanding of the nuance between Sephardic, Ashkenazi, and Chassidic, as well as the difference between Hebrews, Jews, and Zionists, not to mention the more outwardly heretic Sabbateans and Frankists. Remember, Jesus Christ was himself born a jew. To learn more about the infiltration of Judaism by the high Cabal, I highly recommend reading Rabbi Marvin Antleman’s To Eliminate the Opiate.
The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language describes a Hebrew as a member of the Semitic people—that is, a race descended from Abraham of the Old Testament which, ironically enough, also includes most Arabs. A Jew, on the other hand, is an adherent of Judaism, a religion handed down by the Israelites. A Zionist is a member of a political movement concerned with preserving and furthering the aims of the state of Israel. These constitute three separate issues: race, religion, and politics.
It’s as tempting as it is lazy to lump the complexities of the High Cabal and its various interwoven subgroups into a single, catch-all term such as “the Jews”. Most mentally-stable people in the modern world realize that it is wrong to judge a person on race, an attribute that one has no control over. It is also bad form to attack one’s religion; politics, however, is typically fair game by its very nature. It is here, in the realm of politics, that a considerable amount of confusion has been sown. Supporters of Zionism have skillfully attacked their opponents for years as "anti -Semites" to the extent that many Americans, Jews, and gentiles alike, and especially the media, are hesitant to even question the policies of Israel. Furthermore, the broad brush of Anti-semitism has been used to besmirch anyone exploring the possibilities of conspiracy for generations.
W. Cleon Skousen, a former FBI agent who served as police chief of Salt Lake City in the late 1950s, wrote about international conspiracies in several books, including The Naked Communist. He, too, came to understand that racial identification was:
“An oversimplified explanation for the rise of the global power structure which has snared mankind … in studying the global conspiracy, it is important to keep in mind that it was not any one race or religion but the passion for money and power which has drawn the tycoons of world finance into a tightly knit, mutual-aid society.”
That being said, I am NOT denying that a significant portion of this international deep-state claims Jewish Heritage; they spent centuries infiltrating Judaism as an attempt to fracture the Jews into a million competing sects (much as they have with Christianity) and it all stems back to the 9th Century when the King of Russia, disgusted by the Khazarian practices of Baal Worship and child sacrifice, forced the Khazars to convert to one of the Abrahamic Religions. They chose Judaism, and have hated both the Jews and the Russians ever since.

Such conscientious tolerance was not quite so hip in previous centuries.
One method utilized to avoid racism was the enlistment of non-Jewish operatives as fronts for the “Rothschild organization”. One of the primary Rothschild agents you may be aware of was one John Piermont Morgan, who, during the American Civil War (which Morgan and the Rothschilds helped to foment), made anti-semetic remarks, all while purportedly furthering Rothschild goals in the United States.
According to Creature from Jekyll Island author G. Edward Griffin:
"How much of Morgan's apparent anti-Semitism was real and how much may have been a pragmatic guise is, in the final analysis, of little importance …Regardless of one's interpretation of the nature of the relationship between the Houses of Morgan and Rothschild, the fact remains that it was close, it was ongoing, and it was profitable to both. If Morgan truly did harbor feelings of anti-Semitism, neither he nor the Rothschilds ever allowed them to get in the way of their business."
Some authors believe that both the Morgans and the Rockefellers were merely gofers for the Rothschilds, while others claim that the Rothschilds themselves were merely a front group for even more well-hidden interests operating from Geneva as well as a contingent of families descended from what was once referred to as the “Venetian Black Nobility” or the “Lombard Banking Dynasty”. (More on these groups in the forthcoming follow-up series “Charting the Cabal”)
It is believed by many conspiracy researchers that these Rothschild “gofers” were worn like a glove by the hidden Rothschild hand to build vast empires in the U.S. that would control banking, business, oil, steel, etc.
These families ran the United States economy in the same fashion that the Oppenheimer family have in South Africa.
Again, I stress that even these seemingly unrivaled Rothschilds were themselves being used by a much older and intensely more powerful order.
We mentioned the elder Harriman earlier; well, as it happens, his two sons attended Yale university, which was a hotbed for those high society types who flirted with politics, finance, and the occult. It would be there that Averell Harriman was inducted into the Order of the Skull and Bones. In the 1930s, Harriman’s banking firm, W.A. Harriman and Company would merge with the private international firm Brown Brothers, creating Brown Brothers and Harriman and Company, who would employ as partner Prescott Bush, a fellow Bonesman, and father of George Bush Sr.
Intermarriage is a common theme when it comes to dynastic families that have been associated with Cabal activity. History professor Howard M. Sachar expressed this when he wrote,
“Solomon Loeb and Abraham Kuhn, it is recalled, married each other’s sisters and Jacob Schiff became an instant partner by marrying Loeb’s daughter Nina … another partner, Otto Kahn, married Adelaide Wolffe, daughter of one of the firm’s original investors. At Goldman, Sachs, and Co., two Sachs boys married two Goldman Daughters.” (#)
Those who’ve been reading the series might also recall how the Aldrich family merged with the Rockefellers. Business coupled with intermarriages and the use of frontmen or “front families” was the strategy that helped the Rothschilds to build an unspoken international empire while most of the world remained almost completely unaware. This clandestine empire exerted considerable influence on the economic and political history of Europe as well as the United States.
Derek Wilson, a sympathetic biographer of the Rothschilds, noted that in 1810 Nathan was merely hill one of several financiers operating in London. But by 1815 he had become the principal financier to the British government and its Bank of England.
“This remarkable coup could only have been achieved by a complex series of dealings, many of which were encased in a secrecy which cannot now he penetrated,"(#)
Intriguing Family History
In 1815, the five Rothschild brothers would work to supply gold to both Wellington's army (through Nathan in England) and Napoleon's army (through Jacob in France;) this began their policy of funding both sides of any given war, war being a massive generator of risk-free debt (but even this strategy is not purely Rothschild and harkens back the Lombards of Venice.) The plan works so well because it doesn’t matter who wins—the loans are given on the guarantee that the victor will honor the debts of the vanquished.
While the Rothschilds fund both sides, they employ the many banks they’ve spread across Europe to create a sort of postal network of secret routes and swift couriers, keeping the family one step ahead of current events. This strategy was employed by many powerful individuals throughout time, including Benjamin Franklin, Sir Francis Dashwood, and Queen Elizabeth’s spymaster, Lord Francis Walsingham. Additionally, these Rothschild couriers would be the only ones allowed to pass through the French and English blockades.
It is said that one of these couriers, a man named “Rothworth”, was able to swiftly relay the news that the Battle of Waterloo was won by the British. As the story goes, Rothworth was able to deliver this news to Nathan Mayer Rothschild, a full 24 hours before Wellington's own courier.
At that time, British bonds or “consuls” were traded on the floor of the stock exchange. Nathan Mayer Rothschild instructed all his workers on the floor to start selling off consuls, thereby convincing all the other traders that the British had lost the war, so they started selling frantically. Naturally, the consuls plummeted in value, which was when Nathan Mayer Rothschild discreetly instructed his workers to purchase all the consuls they could. Once the news came through that the British had actually won the war, the consuls went up to a level even higher than before the war ended, leaving Nathan Mayer Rothschild with a return of approximately 20-to-1 on his investment!
This brilliant but dastardly maneuver essentially gave the Rothschild family complete control of the British economy, which was now the financial center of the world following Napolean's defeat, and forced England to set up a new Bank of England.
1815 was the year that Nathan Rothschild would make the frequently quoted statement,
"I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain's money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply."
He would go on to brag that in the 17 years he had been in England, he had increased the £20,000 stake given to him by his father, 2,500 times to £50 million. He was certainly the most successful of the five brothers.
In 1816, across the pond, the American Congress passed a bill allowing yet another Rothschild-dominated central bank, giving the Rothschilds control of the American money supply once again. This was called the Second Bank of the United States, and it was given a twenty-year charter.
The 1800s were a rather busy century for the Rothschilds and the monstrous clandestine orders and fraternities which operated through them. In 1821, Kalmann (Carl) Mayer Rothschild was sent to Naples, Italy. He would end up doing a lot of business with the Vatican and Pope Gregory XVI. By 1823, the Rothschilds would take over the financial operations of the Catholic Church, worldwide.
We cannot give all the credit to a single family, as tempting as it is. There were agents of Venice and Geneva working throughout the world at the time—men like Adam Weishaupt, Guiseppe Mazzini, Antonio Schinella Conti, Albert Pike, and so on. The Rothschilds, as financially powerful as they were, were not the ultimate masterminds of the times.
In 1832, Andrew Jackson ran the campaign for his second term in office under the slogan, "Jackson And No Bank!" This was in reference to his plan to take the control of the American money system to benefit the American people, not for the profiteering of the Rothschilds. The very next year Jackson started removing the government's deposits from the Rothschild-controlled, Second Bank of the United States and instead deposited them into banks directed by democratic bankers.
This caused the Rothschilds to panic and so they do what they do best: contract the money supply causing a depression. President Jackson knows exactly what they are up to and famously stated,
"You are a den of thieves vipers, and I intend to rout you out, and by the Eternal God, I will rout you out."
In 1935, On January 30th, an assassin tried to shoot President Jackson, but miraculously, both of the assassin's pistols misfired.
That same year, the Rothschilds would acquire the rights in the Almadén quicksilver mines in Spain. This was supposedly at the time the biggest concession in the world, and as quicksilver was a vital component in the refining of gold or silver, this gave the Rothschilds a virtual world monopoly.
Following his years of fighting against the Rothschilds and their central bank in America, President Andrew Jackson finally succeeded in throwing the Rothschilds central bank out of America, when the bank's charter was not renewed. It would not be until 1913 that the Rothschilds would be able to set up their third central bank in America, the Federal Reserve, and to ensure no mistakes are made, this time they would put one of their own bloodline, Jacob Schiff, in charge of the project.
Before his death, the great American patriot Andrew Jackson is asked what he regarded as his greatest achievement. He replied without hesitation,
"I Killed The Bank,"
The story continues in 1861, when President Abraham Lincoln approaches the big banks in New York to try to obtain loans to support the ongoing American civil war, but that is a SubStack for another day and deserves its own treatment.

Fascinating and enlightening to boot. I was well aware of the Rothschild influence however, I was ignorant to the backstory/history of how the family came to be, starting with Herr Bauer and ultimately the name change. I applaud your dedication and research to share with others the threads that make up the cabal and how deep the roots are throughout our society. When one sits back and reads this and the other behind the curtain stories, the current events going on make much more sense in the quest for power, control, and money. I especially liked your explanation of race, religion, and politics when explaining Semites, Hebrew, and Zionist. Thank you and I look forward to the next chapter.
